Jakarta Fashion Week 2013 - Day 6

THREELOGY by Noni Zakiyah, Restu Anggraini, and Ria Miranda (Thursday - November 8, 2012) 

These three young designers have created modern items with unique fabrics from Indonesia. Ria Miranda has been using “Songket Silungkang” fabric from Sawah Lunto, West Sumatra. Her collection was dominated by pastel colors. Noni Zakiyah has been using “Subahna Lelepang” fabric from Nusa Tenggara Barat, and her collection was dominated by black and electric blue. And the last designer, Restu Anggraini has been using “Sarung Goyor” from Pemalang. She has made a collection with a touch of edgy. Besides the real models, has been found Indonesian celebrities who walk on the runway like Zaskia Sungkar and Inneke Koesherawati. This fashion show from three different young designers can be used as an inspiration in style. From casual, feminine, edgy, modern, and unique.

Erasmus Huis presents “REVIVAL OF BATIK BELANDA” featuring Sischaet Detta (Wednesday - November 7, 2012) 

First impression, touch of golden and “Lady Gaga look alike” glasses. Modern, futuristic, and glamour are the impression that has been created by Sischaet on this collection. Sischaet has been inspired by the colonial era, lots of motifs that contain elements of war and warriors. For the designs, there are asymmetric sleeve dresses with lightweight material, dresses with detail on the shoulder, and many more. Last sentence, Lady Gaga should see this collection.
