Requested by @fangirl-moment-x:
Hey, if you take requests, could you do a human!reader X Derek in which she does something to protect the pack that will get her killed but makes it look like she bertayed them so they hate her. The pack ignores her and Derek says he hates her, but when they find out that she is going to sacrifice herself for the pack, they go save her and when they bring her home Derek takes care of her and they make up. Can you make it angsty with a fluffy end (super fluffy with Derek)? (Sorry it’s so long.)
A/N: I apologize for skipping some details and horrible writing. I hope you like it tho.
“Wait a minute! So let me get this straight,” Derek’s voice echoed through the loft, the pack started surrounding Y/N and Derek in the middle of their argument. “You are leaving town? Now? When we need you the most” he crossed his arms over his chest.
“What? Why are you leaving town?” Stiles took a step forward to Y/N, questioning her. “It’s no ones business but mine! I don’t have to explain myself to you. And plus, why the hell would you need me? I’m a useless human” her words mostly directed at Derek.
"Useless?! Are you kidding me? We do need you stop being ridiculous!“ Y/N flinched.
"Okay I think we all need to calm down and discuss this properly” Scott suggested. Derek stared at Y/N with a fuming expression, she could feel the heat radiating off his body.
“I don’t wanna discuss anything with anyone, leave me alone” Y/N spoke as she started walking to the door. “Hey!” Derek grabbed onto her arm tightly and turned her to face him.
"Derek what the hell?! You’re hurting me" Derek’s realization set in that he was being too harsh on Y/N. “I’m sorry” he let go of her arm. Y/N didn’t give anyone a chance to speak before she bolted out of the loft. “I hope you’re happy now” Stiles spoke bitterly at Derek.
It has been weeks since the initial event. “It’s really kind of you to be here” Jennifer lips twisted into a wicked smirk. “I’m not doing this for you” Y/N responded, venom lacing her words. “I know, you’re doing this for your precious friends,” she rolled her eyes.
“I promised that I wouldn’t hurt them if you helped me” Y/N knew what she was getting into, she feared that Jennifer would betray her. However, she didn’t care; her love for her friends exceeded everything. “Time for the last step, I won’t be needing your help today"
"So does that mean I can-” Y/N’s sentence was cut short before feeling a sharp pain across the back of her head.
After an unknown amount of time, Y/N’s eyes slowly opened up to see four silhouettes in the middle of a concealed location. The roof was eminent, and the walls were wooden built.
The moon beamed through a small hole in the roof; the light wasn’t bright enough for Y/N to properly make out the figures that stood in front of her. Until one of them spoke.
“I’m giving you a chance here to let her go, and take me in her place” the familiar voice of Derek flew to Y/N’s ears. “Oh Derek, I trade you for her any day. But she’s the one who offered herself to keep your precious little pack safe” Jennifer made a childish voice which emitted a growl from Derek, indicating his dissatisfaction.
“I’m here now, let her go” Derek insisted but Jennifer only ignored. She strode to Y/N and stood behind her pointing a sharp knife at her throat. Scott came into view as he tried to negotiate his friend’s life. “You don’t have to do this,” Jennifer shook her head. “Too late pretty boy” were the last words that Y/N heard before blacking out once more.
The following time Y/N woke up was next to the man she loved most in a white on white room. She groaned and held the back of her head in pain. The alpha slightly jumped; awoken from his sleep. “Hey” she smiled.
The sour wolf, however, just lunged at her and wrapped his arms around her. “Oh, okay” she giggled and reciprocated his actions.
“I’m so sorry. I was horrible to you, I can’t believe you sacrificed yourself for us” he backed away from her yet still held onto her hand. “I would’ve done so much more; you guys are my family” Y/N spoke softly as Derek’s eyes softened at her. “I thought I was going to lose you” he ducked his head to hide his crestfallen expression.
“I’m right here, Derek. I knew what I was doing” Y/N delicately placed her hand on his cheek and lifted his face to observe him. “You should’ve have told me” he whispered, still frowning at her. “Don’t frown at me,” she said, sternly. “You would’ve done the same if it meant that you’d keep everyone safe” she smiled at him. “You’re right” he said in defeat.
“Derek,” she said with worry. “Jennifer?”
“It’s over, she can’t hurt anyone anymore” he reassured the panic-filled girl in front of him. She sighed in relief and leaned her head against the headboard of the hospital bed. “Derek.. I-” her lips set in motion when her voice failed to speak her thoughts; she placed a tender kiss on his soft lips.
“Y/N-” Derek’s words were cut short as the familiar voices of the boys of the noisy pack echoed through the ER. “There she is, our fighter” Stiles applauded, walking into the room with Scott and Isaac following behind. After a fair amount of hugs, the boys settled in their seats.
“How are you feeling?” Scott said in a hushed voice. “Severe headache, but I’ll be alright” she assured him. “The girls are setting up a room for you at the loft” Isaac informed you as your eyes were set on the door.
“Why the loft?” Her eyes were on Derek. “Just for a couple of days,” he nodded. “Can’t I just stay in your room?” Y/N giggled as the wolf whistles emitted from the Stiles. Derek’s face flushed in red as he widened his eyes at her.
“Well, o-only if you want to. I mean-” Y/N interrupted him mid sentence as she placed another kiss on his lips.
The guys chuckling at Derek’s bewildered expression.
She saved the character from even more deterioration. I love Jennifer Morrison. I have loved everything she’s done, except the past few seasons of Once but I still say that isn’t her fault. Do what you can with the hand you were given. She was given the story line of Emma Swan’s life and ran with it. Maybe not everyone is happy with it but maybe she did it on purpose. Maybe Emma was meant to played this way purposely. Hell, maybe she thought the character was going in the wrong direction. Who knows?
As a CS ANDSQ shipper, there was little for me to enjoy after things were still going pretty well in season 4 but I’m not angry. Never angry.
I’m actually happy. It takes some thought, real deep thought…but no matter how bad it seems or how upset you are Jennifer Morrison gave us something special. Especially, women. Especially, the LGBT Community. The fans. The romantics. Those looking for a hero. SQ canon or not. Wedding or not.
We got Emma Swan.
Jen brought Emma Swan to life, so we could run with her too.
…and all the many other pairings for Emma…it’s not the end. We made these ships and they will go down with us. And we won’t go down. Not just yet. Hopefully never.
So these are wonderful…
And these are great too (mostly lol)…
But we found these too…
And while these matter, they are important…
This is one?
This is what mattered the most. Finding family and the many, many additions, however tentative and short they may have been…
And the many subtractions…
It was important. It was special. Something full of hope and potential. It started with a wish…
And a boy.
Even with all of that. Good and Bad and Terrible. For six years I did get something special. We all did.
And though it faded over time, we got this:
The princess that saved herself.
We made that real. Jen made that real. Even the writers, however strangely it has been, made her real.
So I think, I’m okay. Somewhere along the line, somewhere in the six years of Once’s existence, I think we all got what we wanted. Fanfiction. Cons. Weddings. We got what we wanted, maybe not in the same form, but we did.
A/N: Hannah’s Criminal Minds Quote Challenge!@hanny-bananny@coveofmemories My quote for this challenge, that I had to work in, in some way, was “Come near my team, and I will end you.” It won’t be worked in during this piece, it’ll be worked in later on.
P.S. If I have enough interest in this, I will likely continue it. If you want to be tagged in future pieces, PLEASE don’t hesitate to let me know ;)
I’m not that person anymore. I’ve worked so hard to leave that life behind. Starting at the BAU, after scratching my way up the ladder…this should be one of the greatest days of my life…
Two days after earning your long-awaited spot on the team, he approached you. “Sierra Cheverie,” he said, holding his hand out to introduce himself. That wasn’t you - not anymore. “I know all about you.” He wanted revenge. And he knew every sordid detail of your past. All of the things you did because you felt you needed to, all of the people you associated with because you had nowhere else to go…He knew it all.
Threats were made. Not on your life. “Of course not,” he said softly, taking either side of his suit jacket in his hands and pulling them closer together. Adjusting himself. After all, he had people he needed to look good for. “Someone else. Many someones.”
What does he want with me? Who does he want to hurt? No one can know what I used to be.
His bodyguards had come up behind you, all black suits and sunglasses, like a bad movie, ushering you into his home. “You’ll have to excuse the size,” he said, taking you off guard. It was an enormous house, but apparently he was used to even loftier and luxurious accommodations. “Since I was released from prison, I’ve had to downsize a bit. I have to crawl my way back up…just like you.” His tanned skin and thin lips spread to reveal an abnormally white set of teeth. Unsettling. Despite the smile, something sinister lay underneath. “But I’ll get there eventually. And with your help, I can have my revenge on the people that ruined me. Took my wife and kids away. My money. My reputation.”
The man stared off into the distance, presumably thinking about the people that ‘ruined’ him. His handlers placed a hand on either of your shoulders, pushing you down to sit on the couch. “They need to pay for what they’ve done to me.” Reaching over, he grabbed a folder from his right-hand man and proceeded to pull out pictures.
“Emily Prentiss. Jennifer Jareau.”
“Penelope Garcia. Aaron Hotchner.”
This can’t be happening.
“David Rossi. You’re dating the other one, so that would be too obvious. He’ll be left out, but the rest…”
You swallowed the lump in your throat and clutched at your chest, before looking up into his ice cold eyes. “Who are you?” you asked, realizing you didn’t even know his name. “What do you want from me? Why are you doing this?” All of the strength you’d built up since leaving that life behind, vanished like a wisp of smoke in the air. Again, you had been reduced to a cowering child. Instead of quaking and shirking away from the wide, calloused hand of your ex-boyfriend (Assaulter? Pimp? John? You didn’t know what to call him anymore), you were quivering in front of a man with more money, power and pull than anyone you’d ever known.
“My name is Bentley Ashton and I’m a patient man,” he said, crouching down to meet your astounded gaze. “Over the next few years, I will give you instructions on how to destroy or kill a member of your new team. If you do it, at the end, I will allow you to destroy every piece of information I have on you. If you don’t, I will release everything I know about you out into the world, and if you tell them of my plans, I’ll kill him.”
The tang of copper filled your mouth as you realized you’d been biting your tongue hard enough to taste blood. Not him. Anyone but him. Kill me instead. “Stay away from Spencer,” you gritted through clenched teeth. It took every ounce of courage to threaten this man with no backup and no gun on you. “He’s done nothing to you. None of them have. They were just doing their jobs.”
“Their jobs cost me my life,” he said coolly. “I’ve waited a very long time for this, and I’ll have my revenge with or without your help. But remember, if you’re not of use to me, I’ll dispose of you.” Make yourself useful, bitch. That’s what he used to say to you. “Don’t worry. As I said, I’m a patient man. I’ll give you a week to decide what you’re going to do.”
His men came back from the marble-tiled kitchen with files in hand - a bright red folder, filled with information Mr. Ashton had dug up about your past. “This is what I have on you. I think it’s more than enough to get you thrown off of the team you worked so hard to join and into prison. Remember all of this when you make your decision.”
Without another word, he waved his hands to his men. Pressure was put on your back, and with a few clicks of your heels, you were out the door and on the steps - alone again. Ten years of freedom…and now this.
Now, it was two days into your supposed deadline and you were
starting at the BAU. I should be happy.
But you couldn’t get yourself to smile. “Woah,” Penelope said as you walked in.
“What’s going on in that pretty little head of yours? You look miserable.” Oh great. Maybe I should just quit this
before I even start. If I can’t convince Penelope, who although a genius in her
own right is no profiler, that I’m okay when I’m not, then how am I supposed to
convince an unsub I agree with him when I don’t?Fucking
“First day jitters, I guess,” you said with a strained smile.
Light footsteps snuck up behind you and the man attached to them
snuck a kiss in the crook of your neck. “Good morning, babe,” Spencer said. You
couldn’t help but smile. He was everything you’d ever wanted in a man. The
complete opposite of the man that held you captive while still giving you the
ability to walk around and ‘do what you wanted.’ “Are you nervous? You’re going
to be amazing.”
“I’m sure I’ll be fine,” you said smoothly. Outwardly, you’d
actually managed to sound convincing, but the voice in your head was screaming,
I’m a fuck up, I’m a fuck up, I’m a fuck
up. “I just need to get going and find my footing.”
“Oh sweetheart,” Penelope said, looping her arm in yours without
realizing that the gesture was ripping out your insides. “Anyone Boy Genius
over here recommends is good by us. You’ll be fine. Let’s head in there, shall
Spencer followed behind but reached in front of you to hand you
your normal morning coffee order - large, milk, sugar, espresso shot. What the
hell were you supposed to do? Should you run and change identities again?
Should you risk telling the team of your past, and in turn risk their lives
anyway? Should you take a completely different route and end your own life so
your past didn’t have to be revealed? A cough brought up bile, stinging your
throat and leaving a sour taste in your mouth.
If there was anything you knew about yourself, it was that you
were a coward. There was no way you’d be able to end your own life. But you
were too ashamed to tell the team of your past? Maybe if you “tried” to do what
Ashton wanted and “failed” he would find another way to go about his evil plan
and you could work on the side that you were meant to fight on. Feeling in your
pocket, you crumpled the card in your hand, running your fingers over the
raised text of the burner phone number he’d given you.
For a weakling like you, there was no other way out.
Before he’d had a beautiful wife, two boys he’d been raising in
his image, a loving family, and a reputation as an esteemed businessman and
governmental figure. Now…this. He barely had enough money to support his
lifestyle. Even had to sell a few of his prized cars in order to buy his way
out of prison. He had no misconceptions about what this new life plan would
bring him. His wife wouldn’t come crawling back to him. His boys would still
look at him with disdain. His family wouldn’t ever acknowledge his existence
again. He’d never have a career in politics. But he could build up his fortune
again, and he could have his revenge on the scum that ripped all of his hard
work away and ruined his life. If he got his revenge, that would be enough.
As he looked in the mirror, he pulled his lip down to examine
his teeth, make sure he didn’t have anything in teeth before adjusting his suit
again. “She’ll call today,” he said to his reflection – amazed that he still
looked so handsome after all that time in prison. “Luck’s about to turn
It’s that time again! Some of the best inspiration for writing comes from reading books, with their beautiful phrases and ideas or characters that dazzle you. So, here are ten ‘readspiration’ quotes that made me want to write when I read them. I also recommend the rest of the book as novels I enjoyed.
1) “And he uncovered in us a curious need: that we each secretly wanted him to remember us the most. It was strange, both vital and flawed, until I realised that maybe the need to be remembered is stronger than the need to remember.”
2) “I am here but I am not yours.”
– When God Was a Rabbit, Sarah Winman
3) “We hit the sidewalk, and dropped hands. How I wished, right then, that the whole world was a street.”
4) “I could feel the tears beginning to collect in my throat again, but I pushed them apart, away from each other. Tears are only a threat in groups.”
– The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake, Aimee Bender
5) “If you hate a person, you hate something in him that is part of yourself. What isn’t part of ourselves doesn’t disturb us.”
6) “You’ve never lived what you are thinking, and that isn’t good. Only the ideas we actually live are of any value.”
– Demian, Herman Hesse
6) “I would lie of course. I lied a lot and with good reason: to protect the truth—safeguard it like wearing fake gems to keep the real ones from getting stolen or cheapened by overuse. I guarded what truths I possessed because information was not a thing—it was colorless odorless shapeless and therefore indestructible. There was no way to retrieve or void it no way to halt its proliferation. Telling someone a secret was like storing plutonium inside a sandwich bag the information would inevitably outlive the friendship or love or trust in which you’d placed it. And then you would have given it away.”
– Look at Me, Jennifer Egan
7) “I am tired of trying to hold things together that cannot be held. Trying to control what cannot be controlled. I am tired of denying myself what I want for fear of breaking things I cannot fix. They will break no matter what we do.”
8) “You’re in the right place at the right time, and you care enough to do what needs to be done. Sometimes that’s enough.”
– The Night Circus, Erin Morgenstern
9) “I do not think, sir, you have any right to command me, merely because you are older than I, or because you have seen more of the world than I have; your claim to superiority depends on the use you have made of your time and experience.”
10) “I am not an angel,’ I asserted; ‘and I will not be one till I die: I will be myself. Mr. Rochester, you must neither expect nor exact anything celestial of me - for you will not get it, any more than I shall get it of you: which I do not at all anticipate.”
Hotch can’t leave. He just can’t. Spencer (and Penelope) have lost so many people over the last 12-ish years. Just when Spencer was getting close to Elle, she left. Gideon was the dad Spencer never had. Then he had to watch JJ leave. Then Emily. Then Maeve. Then Alex. Then Kate. Then his mom’s dementia. Then Derek. Now Hotch? Spencer is about to be in a living hell. I honestly don’t know if I’ll be able to watch it. Spencer has lost so many people and don’t get me wrong, I love Thomas Gibson and want him on the show, but if Hotch leaves, the only logical thing that could happen for Matthew Gray Gubler’s character is literally nothing good. I have never wished to work with Criminal Minds more than I do right now. I’ve grown up watching this show, and it showed me just what I want to be for a career. Yeah, okay I’m done. If you don’t know what’s going on please let me know and I’ll make another post about what I know. Thanks, I love you guys. And if Thomas Gibson doesn’t come back, I’ll still be here and so will this blog.
Everything! Everything that you wanted I have done. You asked that the child be taken. I took him. You cowered before me, I was frightening. I have reordered time. I have turned the world upside down, and I have done it all for *you*! I am exhausted from living up to your expectations. Isn’t that generous?
Okay I’m so sorry for not writing for so long, 4 ap courses are killing me. But here’s an imagine! *goes back reading hamlet*

“I don’t know, Arden. I really don’t know.” You sighed, poking your breakfast with your fork.
“Come on, you must have some feelings towards the boy, I mean, you literally act totally different in front of him, like more girlish and sweet! I’m not saying it’s bad or accusing you, to be honest, I think it’s really cute. But like everyone who is close to you thinks this way.” Your best friend, Arden Anfield, told you. She was the type of girl who wouldn’t stop talking, but what she said was always true, and you appreciate her a lot. “Fine,” You rolled your eyes. “I guess I do like him.”
“Oh I knew it, y/n, I knew it!”
“Shut up, Ar.”
“Yes, ma'am.” She grinned, saluting at you as you went back to poking your breakfast while smiling subconsciously. You bid your goodbye to your friend and left for your class. You had a different schedule to the rest of your year. Unlike them, who have those standards classes, you had an extra one that was taught by Professor McGonagall and took place when the others were having their first period. You passed the hallways, and a familiar face hit your eyesight.
“Hey y/n, how’s your day?” Sirius smiled brightly at you. “Good,” you grinned. He nodded at you, “Good, I’ll see you later, hotstuff,” and continued talking to the rest of the marauders. “And it just got better,” you mumbled under your breath while blushing furiously. Yeah, it was Sirius who you had a crush on. All he did was to mess up your mind even more. You thought you didn’t have a chance with him since his ex was probably the most popular girl at school.

Captain Swan fans: HOW DARE ADAM AND EDDY GET RID OF EMMA! CAPTAIN SWAN IS THE ONLY REASON I WATCHED THIS STUPID SHOW!!! BRING BACK EMMA!!!
Newsflash to those Captain Swan fans: The only way they can bring back Emma is if they recast her, and I can just imagine the outrage that would cause.
LOVE IT! Honestly, one of the best sci-fi shows and a fantastic time travel show. I love the time travel genre but I’m a stickler if it’s done well. They’ve made me love all the characters. I’m so impressed with the mythology. It’s intriguing, surprising but what really gets me is how when things get revealed it makes complete sense because the writers have this incredible plan in place. It was there the whole time in pieces but you don’t see how the puzzle fits together until they want you to.
Yes, I’ve seen all three seasons! I watched 1 and 2 last summer. I really loved how they aired all of season 3 in one weekend. I wasn’t able to watch until a few weeks later but it was so nice to be able to binge it all at once.
A/N: It’s so freaking fluffy I can’t stand it and I’m very seriously considering a 2nd part depicting Christmas Day! Also, thanks to my sister who’s not on here, but helped me with the idea big time!!
It was the first weekend in December and time to start getting the house ready for Christmas. Not everyone lived by this rule, but when Y/N got together with Tony DiNozzo she had convinced him to adapt to it. She loved Christmas Time and after they married and started having children, that love blossomed even more.
Their oldest daughter Kate was four and their second daughter Jenny was just shy of two years. Kate was old enough to be the most excited for the season and ready to make her list for Santa Claus. Jenny was excited mostly by her big sister’s energy. She wasn’t positive why they were getting pumped up, but if Kate was happy then so was she!
“Okay girls are you ready to go get the tree today?” Y/N asked as they finished their breakfast.
A squeal rose from both girls as Tony walked into the kitchen after taking a phone call. “What’s all the fuss about?”
Summary: “We are to never like or date the same guy.” It was that simple. One rule. That’s it. Or so you thought it was, until you met Namjoon, who made you question the one rule that you had once made up with your best friends, and had tried so hard to keep.
I’m sorry for taking so long to upload this chapter, but I hope that you’ve all liked it :) I always love to hear what you guys think ❤️ I will update everything as soon as I can. Until next time, Happy Reading~
Three Months Ago
As your best friend continued to type on her phone, you poked at your food and said,
“I.. I have something to tell you.”
Having just came back to visit after a month in university, Jennifer was the one who planned this whole lunch date, yet here she was, busy typing away on her cell phone completely disregarding your existence. What’s even worse then your best friend ignoring you, was the fact that you already knew who she was texting, Namjoon. You hated yourself everyday for being the reason why the two started talking again. Technically, you weren’t completely the reason, but if it weren’t for you who asked Jennifer over the summer if she was still talking to him, she wouldn’t have decided to pick up her phone and start texting him again.
You knew that Jennifer wasn’t even interested in Namjoon, yet you couldn’t find the heart to warn him or yell at her. How could you? They were both your best friends.
“What is it Y/N?” She asked as she momentarily looked up from her device.
“You can’t make fun of me okay?”
“Yeah. I got it. What’s wrong?” Jennifer now worriedly asked.
“I… I think I like Namjoon.” You blushed while staring down on your plate of food.
It might have been a sudden confession, but you silently had hoped that this would have been a slight warning for Jennifer. For as long as she had known you, Jennifer had always teased you about your not-so secretive crush on Namjoon, but you always shook it off by simply saying that she was thinking too much. Being your best friend, you should have felt safe by telling her your secrets, but this secret seemed too big for anyone else other than you to know. This secret was either going to make or break your fifteen year friendship with Namjoon, and you weren’t ready to risk it just yet.
“You what?” Jennifer quietly asked.
There was something about her tone that you found unnerving, so when you looked up, you were surprised to see that Jennifer was no longer on her phone anymore, instead now she was staring at you, with what seemed like a worried look.
“I.. I just said. I think I like Namjoon. Why? What’s wrong?” You asked.
Frowning at her slight chuckle, she said,
“What’s wrong? Y/N… you guys go to two different universities, how are you going to date him? I’m not trying to ruin your mood, but I just want you know that it’s going to be hard for the two of you, if the two of you were to date.”
As if I didn’t know.
Taken back by her response, you said,“I never said that I was going to date Namjoon, I just said that I like him.”
As Jennifer continued to lecture you about how you always easily fell for guys who paid even an ounce of attention to you, you went back to picking your food. You were angry. Furious even. Because she out of all people had no right to talk to you like this.
Having had enough, once she was done, you pushed back your food and got up,
“I didn’t come here to have you lecture me okay? I just wanted to tell my best friend about how I felt. I’m going home.”
Without even bothering to listen to what she had to say, you quickly dialled Namjoon’s phone and headed towards the parking lot.
Knowing that he would always answer you phone, you smiled the moment you heard his voice after the second ring.
Once you closed the car door, you asked,
“Is it cool if I’m come over tonight?”
“Sure. What time?”
“Like. Um.. now?”
“Sure. The doors unlocked. Come in whenever.” He laughed.
The good thing about having two best friends was that when you’re mad at one of them, you can always count on having the other one to talk to. Or at least that’s what you thought.
Guessing that Namjoon probably hasn’t eaten anything, you went to his favourite pizza parlour around his neighbourhood and bought a medium cheese pizza for the two of you, since you barely touched your own lunch.
Your excitement was quickly dismissed the moment you opened Namjoon’s front door only to see Jennifer and Namjoon cuddled together on the couch in the living room.
“Y/N what are you doing here?” Jennifer asked.
You stood at the door completely speechless. A part of you was jealous to see the two of them cuddling so happily, while the other part of you was mad. You were mad at Namjoon for not telling you that Jennifer was coming. You were mad at Jennifer for cuddling with Namjoon, who she told you time after time that she didn’t like, and who you just told minutes ago that you like. More than anything, you were mad at yourself for not being able to do anything but stare at the two, and realize just good they look together.
Before you would turn into a crying mess, you quickly mumbled that you had other plans and ran out the door as quickly as possible.
Just as you were about to start the engine, you almost screamed out of surprise the moment Namjoon started banging on the car window.
You wanted to ignore him. You tried, and you would have succeeded if Namjoon hadn’t yanked the car door open before you had the chance to lock it.
“Y/N What’s wrong?”
“Nothing.” You mumbled while trying to wipe away your tears.
Kneeling down to your eye level, Namjoon sighed,
“You’re an awful liar.”
While Namjoon reached forward to wipe your tears, you had to hold back a sigh. As much as you hated to admit it, you couldn’t stop yourself from feeling a sense of comfort from just one touch.
Like you had told Jennifer today, you like Namjoon. Really. Like him. And maybe even hopelessly in love with him.
Although you wanted to continue and enjoy his soft touch, the memory of him and Jennifer cuddling just seconds ago flashed back into your mind causing you to brush his hands off and turning away from him.
“Nothing’s wrong. I clearly was in the way of something. I’m just going to go now.” You mumbled.
“You weren’t in the way of anything. We were just watching a movie. Come on in. The three of us can a movie night together.” He smiled.
As breathtaking as his smile was, you couldn’t stop the everlasting images of the two of them on the couch from flashing into your mind.
“I have things to do Namjoon. It’s nothing.”
If there was one thing that Namjoon had very little of, it would be patience, and he surely was running out of it right now.
“Get out of the car Y/N.”
Namjoon couldn’t describe it, but the sight of you on the verge of crying agitated his impatience to the point that he would do anything just to make you feel better.
“Now. Y/N.” He almost shouted.
You instantly felt your body shrivel up at how stern Namjoon’s voice was. Although you had seen Namjoon mad before, never had you seen his eyes so filled with annoyance like he was staring at you right now.
Seeing how pale you suddenly got, Namjoon’s face quickly softened and this time had said softly,
“What’s wrong Y/N? Why did you suddenly run off? I thought we were going to hang out tonight.”
Seeing that you weren’t going to get your way out of this, you finally said,
“Jennifer and I..”
“Did you guys have a fight?” He asked.
“Y-Yeah. Yeah. We’re not really on talking terms.. right now.” You lied.
Although you should have told the truth, knowing that Namjoon would never ask why the two of you fought, you were willing to say anything just so he wouldn’t find out about your confession.
Whether Namjoon thought you were lying or not, you were glad that he didn’t question any further.
“Well. Wait here I’ll be right back. Okay?”
After giving a slight nod, Namjoon left you alone in your car as you watched him and Jennifer talk from your rear mirror. You contemplated on whether you should just leave them right now and go home to heat up and devour your now cold pizza, or wait for him like he asked. After much debating, you decided to choose the latter.
As minutes went by, you continued tapping nervously on your steering wheel wondering what they were talking about. After minutes went by, Namjoon finally came back and this time softly opened your side of the door.
“Let’s go get some drinks okay?” Namjoon softly asked.
“What about Jennifer?” You asked.
“She’s going home. Tonight it’s just going to be you and me. Deal?”
You and me.
As your heart started to flutter, you shyly nodded at him and in return you received yet another one of his beautiful smiles.
Just before you buckled your seatbelt, Namjoon stopped you and asked,
“What are you doing?”
Giving him a confused look, you said,
“We’re going out for drinks aren’t we?”
“Yeah. But we’re not going out. We’re drinking in my house. Just you and me.” He winked.
Trying your best to hide your reddening face, you quickly got out of the car and said,
“Don’t act like you don’t love it.” He yelled before you quickly ran into the house.
One drink became two which then eventually accumulated to all almost dozen empty beer bottles.
You couldn’t remember who suggested it, but here the two of you were completely wasted out of your mind in hopes to be the first to finish their six bottles of beer.
After downing your last beer, you smiled at the emptied bottle and chuckled,
“Ha. No more. Namjoon I won!”
Turning to him, you laughed at the sight of a snoring Namjoon completely knocked out.
You tried to nudge him awake, but it was no use, he didn’t budge.
With the television playing a movie that neither of you were paying attention to, you turned to Namjoon and softly ran your fingers through his hair.
“Namjoon.” You tried again, but there was no response.
Leaning towards his ear, you tried again,
In your drunk state of mind, you continued to run your hands through his hair as your started to admire his features.
You admired how beautiful his golden skin was.
You admired how soft his hair felt.
You admired how plump and full his lips were.
More than anything, you admired him.
Not as your best friend Namjoon, but as Kim Namjoon, who had stolen your heart years ago.
Although you knew that you weren’t going to get a response, you asked,
“Namjoon can I tell you something?”
Not expecting an answer, you continued,
“I like you Namjoon. A lot. A loooootttt. A lot.”
Thinking that Namjoon was asleep, you leaned in and kissed his cheek before you slowly got up and headed towards the sofa in which you fell asleep within seconds.
What you didn’t know was that Namjoon had simply decided to take a nap and he was listening to you the whole time while trying to stay quiet.
Once the room feel to a complete silence, Namjoon finally got up and headed towards his room to grab a blanket before draping it over your sleeping body.
Quietly laughing at your drunken state, Namjoon softly ruffled your hair and said,
“I’ll take it that you were too drunk and I’ll save you from embarrassment by forgetting what just happened.”
Finally pulling you back to reality, Jennifer said,
“I thought you said that you didn’t like him.” You finally said so quietly that even Jennifer who was standing in front of you could barely hear.
“I.. I know I said that before, but it wasn’t until recently that I realized that I really do like Namjoon, more than a friend.”
You watched at Jennifer kept explaining how and when she realized how great Namjoon truly is, but somehow, everything to you just seemed like excuses. More than anything, it just seemed like Jennifer was trying to prove to you why she likes Namjoon. But why? What does she get from reasoning with you?
Completely ignoring what she was saying, you asked,
“I’m sorry, but why are you telling me all this?”
“Y/N… I…” She stuttered.
Turning to your best friend, you felt sick just looking at the pitiful look that she was displaying on her face.
She wants to date him.
She wants me to let her date Namjoon.
She want me to… let go.
Seeing the look of realization, Jennifer said,
“I’m so sorry Y/N. So so sorry. You can say no if you want. I just want you to know that I really do like Namjoon, and.. and I-“
“Don’t. It’s fine.” You mumbled.
Having been your best friend for so long, just like Namjoon, Jennifer was able to see right through your lies, so it was no surprise that she was able to see through this one just as well.
“Y/N… This clearly is bothering you. Just.. pretend that I didn’t say anything. Forget i-“
“It’s fine.” You said while trying to hold back your anger.
“Are you sure?”
“Don’t worry. I won’t say that you only like Namjoon now because he giving you the attention that you love.” You spat.
Without realizing, you were boiling with anger but more than anything, you were hurt. Hurt that your best friend could do such a thing to you.
Taken back by what you had just said, Jennifer said,
Although you were usually able to hold yourself back, you found yourself for the first time since last night, unapologetically letting out your true feelings that you had kept so long for the sake of your friendship, but clearly you no longer saw the need in doing so.
“I loved you as my best friend. I even loved you like a sister, and I respected you. I respected the choices that you made, and never once, did I lash out at you. But what about you? I told you that I liked Namjoon, and what did you do? You didn’t encourage me, and as much as that had hurt, I understood that you didn’t have to root for every guy that I like, but did you have to say that all I wanted was attention? Did you have to think so little of me and think that it was okay for you to just say that to me?”
As Jennifer was about to speak, you quickly said,
“Just for one second. Just for one fucking second. Listen to me. You out of all people have absolutely no right to call me out for wanting attention. Why? Because how about we remember why you and Namjoon started talking again shall we? If I hadn’t kept my fucking mouth shut and had not ask you whether you and Namjoon were talking again, I bet you, the two of you wouldn’t be talking so happily right now. And why did the two of you stop talking in the first place? Because you didn’t want to give him the wrong idea and what are you telling me now? That you suddenly like him? And you’re practically asking me if it’s okay for you to just take Namjoon. You know that he likes you, so you’re asking me right now to just let him go so you can go for him aren’t you?!”
Once you were finished, you weren’t sure whether you were gasping from air because of the long speech or because of your tears. Streams of tears then turned to sobs, and soon you were too drowned from your own tears to even acknowledge the fact hat Jennifer had left your house. To be completely honest, you didn’t really even care. As broken and hurt as you were, you finally felt free after letting out all those words that you had kept in for so long, and you didn’t feel a single bit regretful.
Once the sobs finally came to a stop, you decided to go out for some fresh air.
Without a single sense of direction or plan, after about an hour of strolling, you ended up sitting on an empty bench at a park nearby.
Although Namjoon continued to text and call you, you never bothered to answer because for one, you weren’t in the mood to answer after knowing that your friendship with Jennifer had basically ended, and two because you were certain that you and Namjoon were also on the verge of that, and you weren’t just yet ready for that.
So in hopes to lighten your mood, without even thinking twice, you quickly dialled a phone number.
“Hello?” He answered after the first ring.
“Hey. Are you busy right now?” You asked.
Letting out a light chuckle, he said,
“No. I’m free right now.”
Whether you were aware of your conscious or not, clearly you didn’t give a damn, because within seconds, you quickly said,
This quite possibly be one of the most terrifying experiences to have happened to him.
No, it wasn’t fighting demons. No, it wasn’t fighting ghosts. Hell, it wasn’t even fighting clowns.
It was asking you out.
You two were close-knit friends and hunters. Sam had had an immediate attraction to you, and it stuck to this day.
You had been on the couch reading a book when he decided to ask.
“Hey, Y/N? Can I ask you something?” Sam gulped, hoping you didn’t pick up his obvious anxiety.
“Sure, Sam, what’s up?” you ask, placing your book on the couch next to you.
“Would you ever, um, you know, want to go on a date with me?”, Sam’s face turns crimson, stuttering out the words as quickly as possible.
You study his face, and frown. “Is this some kind of sick joke, Sam? Is this because I can’t get a date?” you seethe out, opening your book again.
“N-No! Of course not”, he frantically tries to explain, but you’re too angry.
“Dean! Sam did your bet! Pay up!”, you sarcastically yell over your shoulder. Humiliated, Sam gets up and practically runs out of the room.
Well, shit. That didn’t go as planned.
Sucking up his pride, he ventures off to find his older brother.
Finally, he finds Dean in his room, listening to music.
“Hey, um, Dean. Can I ask you about something?”
Dean takes off his headphones, and pats the seat next to him.
“Sure, baby brother. What’s up?”
Sam hesitantly sits down, face already turning red again. “I need some, um, dating advice.”
Dean’s eyes lighten up as he pats Sam on the back. “So who’s the lucky girl? Is it that girl we met on the last case? What was her name… Tiffany? Or was it Jennifer? Or was it that one girl-”
“It’s Y/N”, Sam interrupts, feeling uncomfortable as Dean stares at him.
“You mean, our Y/N?” Sam nods.
Dean’s confused frown turns into a smirk. “Y/N Winchester. Has a good ring to it, don’t you think Sam?”
He groans in response. “Please don’t tease me about this.”
“I bet you guys would have cute kids. How many kids will you have? Judging on how you look at her, at least 5…”
Sam’s face flushes. “Are you done yet?”
Dean laughs. “Now I am.”
“Good.” Sam runs his hands through his hair. “I tried to ask her on a date, and she got defensive and thought I made a bet with you.”
Dean’s face turns into a grimace. “Oh, ouch.” He thinks a bit longer. “Why don’t you try to make the date about her? Show her she means a lot to you. Get her favorite flowers and I can help you make her favorite food.”
Sam begins to smile. “Okay. Good plan. Thanks, Dean.”
The date comes sooner than he’d thought. It’s about seven, and the sun is barely setting. It’s a nice day- a warm breeze, not too cold. Sam’s dressed in a nice shirt and jeans, hair done nicely. Set before him is a picnic with a basket full of your favorite food. Dean helped make it, and they even tried a new recipe.
Sam’s holding a bouquet of your favorite flowers, the scent light and sweet as he waits for Dean to bring you here.
Soon, the Impala pulls up, and Sam tries to give a smile.
You step out, confused as you take turns looking and Sam and Dean. “Sam, what’s this?”
He walks forward and kneels before you, taking your hand and placing a soft kiss on the back of it.
“I told you I wanted to take you on a date, Y/N.”
He stands up again, and hands you the flowers.
Your face softens. “Thank you Sam.”
Lightly, he takes your hand and walks you over to the picnic and you both take a seat as Dean drives away.
You abruptly sneeze, effectively scaring both of you.
“Oh jeez. Excuse me”, you say, noticing how your eyes are becoming itchy.
Sam just smiles and hands you a plate of food, and you can’t help but smile at the sight of your favorite meal.
It’s delicious too, and it has something new that you can’t put your finger on. After you eat and chat a bit, you notice your throat feeling funny. Looking down at your plate, you notice specks of light green.
“Uh, Sam, did this have avocado in it?”, you try to mask the discomfort you’re in as you notice a rash forming on your arms.
“Yeah, why?” His eyes widen as he sees the red marks forming on your arms. “Oh my God, are you allergic?”
You sneeze again, eyes red now. “I think I’m allergic to flowers too.”
Sam looks absolutely mortified, picking up the flowers and moving them away from you.
“I’m so sorry. Let me go find some aloe vera, just hang tight ok?”
You sneeze in response, and Sam’s face morphs into a sad one.
About five minutes later, you and Sam are back sitting on the blanket, Sam rubbing the cool gel over your arms. You sigh in relief, the itch finally going away. Your sneezing has seized too, thankfully.
There’s a comfortable silence, just the sounds of birds and crickets chirping as the night rolls in, until Sam breaks it. “I’m really sorry, Y/N. I totally ruined our first date”, he says, sadness laced in his voice.
“You did’t ruin the date, Sam. It’s not your fault. You didn’t know”, you say gently, rubbing his arm softly. “And hey, the night’s not over yet. How about we stargaze for a bit? I used to do it all the time when I was a kid.”
Sam grins at your idea, his disappointment fading away.
You two make your way to an open field and lay the blanket down. You both lay down, side by side.
“Look, there’s Orion”, you point up at the stars.
“I didn’t know you were a constellation buff”, Sam chuckles out.
You grin. “Pff, yeah, duh.”
You and Sam keep pointing out constellations, and halfway through, you lace your fingers in his. It feels like his hand was made for yours because they mold so perfectly together. You take a moment to admire how even with the callouses on his hands from all those years of hunting, they still possess a certain softness.
Suddenly, a shooting star paints the sky and you gasp. “Make a wish, Sammy.”
You notice he doesn’t say anything, so you turn your head towards him. He’s staring at you, a deep admiration in his eyes.
“Everything I could wish for is right here.” He lightly squeezes your hand, and your heart melts.
Slowly, he moves closer to you and before you know it, your lips are melded together in a light, passionate kiss. Its everything you’ve dreamed of, and Sam could agree.
Once you separate, you place your head on his chest, the soft sounds of his heartbeat lulling you to sleep.
And when Dean came to pick you up the next morning, he was met with the sight of you two blissfully sleeping, bodies molding together like puzzle pieces.
Maya Hart never got sick. So when she jumped through Riley’s window and saw her best friend laying in bed with a trash can next to her she turned on her heel and went back through the window to the clean fresh air.
Apparently that was enough for the germs to get on her and that’s why she was currently storming down the hallway towards the Matthews apartment wearing pajamas with her hair tied into a messy bun. She swung open the door to see the family sitting down for breakfast. “You!” She pointed towards Riley. “You did this to me!”
"Me?“ A perfectly heathy Riley asks. "What did I do?”
"You got me-,“ she’s cut off by a sneezing fit. "Sick.” She finishes.
"Maya, sweetie, the flu has been going around. It could have been anyone!“
Riley states, "why don’t you just lay down and I’ll see you after school?"
"No, no, I need to fight-,” she stops and puts a hand to her head. “Is the room spinning for anyone else?"
"That’s it,” Topanga says, getting up and walking over to Maya she leads her to the couch and pulls a blanket over the girl.
"You stay here. I’ll call your mom and be back during my lunch to check on you.“
Maya groaned but snuggled deeper into the warm blanket.
"I’ll see you later peaches!” Riley calls out, as she grabbed her bag and followed her dad out of the building.
After all the Matthews left, she finally closed her eyes to get some sleep.
"FAMILY!“ He yells, opening the door. He looks around at the empty house. They must of left already. Perfect, a quite place to study.
A groan coming from the couch startles him and he sees Maya curled up. He goes over and pokes her a couple of times.
"What?” She snaps waking up and a faint blush appears on her cheeks when she realizes it him. “Oh hi.”
"What are you doing here? Shouldn’t you be at school?“ He asks.
"I am-,” she begins to sneeze and cough and he’s not sure if he should go get her some tissues or to pat her back. “Well I guess you can tell that I am sick.”
“Uh yeah, I can,” he says, debating if he should stay with her or if he should let her be and go study in another room.
She looked at the books in his hands and then up at him. “I can go, If your hear to study me coughing up a lung every five minutes won’t help that.”
“You’d be home alone, I’ll be fine here. You just rest,” he says, since he could see her fighting to keep her eyes open. “I’ll just be in the kitchen if you need anything.”
“I can’t believe your watching that,” he says, from his spot at the dining room table. Maya had gotten up a couple hours ago and has been watching the Bachelor since then. “I thought you were better that.”
“Don’t judge me, I am sick!” she shots back, sniffling slightly. “Besides, it’s not my fault they decided to have a marathon today.”
Josh rolled his eyes, as he got up to check on the soup he was making for her. When he saw that it was done he put it into a bowl and walked over to her. Her eyes lite up when she saw it. “You didn’t have to do that!” she says, taking the bowl from him.
“I wasn’t going to let you starve,” he shrugs, taking a seat on the couch next to her.
“Oh so your joining me?” she asks smugly.
“I gotta see what all the hype is about,” he shrugged in response.
“I can’t believe he picked Jennifer over Stephanie!” Josh yells, throwing popcorn at the TV that he made somewhere between episode ten and episode fourteen.
Maya laughs besides him, “I can’t believe you got so into this! It’s just a show!” she laughs, “and just a couple hours ago you were making fun of me!”
“Well, I just think it’s stupid. Even I could see that Jennifer has crazy eyes!” he shots back. “I was totally for Team Stephanie.”
“Crazy eyes? Really?” Maya practically snorted. “But now Stephanie isn’t taken. All you gotta do is fly to LA and sweep her off her feet.”
“Nah she’s too old for me,” he replies easily. Maya raises an eyebrow as if for him to go on. “I like my girls three years younger.” he says before he can chicken out. Mayas eyes widen with surprise and she opens her mouth to reply but the door is burst open.
“Peaches, I brought you icecr- oh Uncle Josh. I didn’t realize you were coming over today,” Riley says, as she set down her backpack and went into the kitchen to grab two spoons for her and Maya.
“Yeah, I just came over to study but instead got dragged into taking care of her,” he says jokingly pointing at Maya who looked a lot better.
“Hey! I didn’t force you to sit here and watch The Bachelor with me!” Maya replies, smugly as she watches the smirk fall off Josh’s face.
“I should probably be get going, I have to study for an exam coming up,” Josh says, ignoring the look his niece was giving him. He walked over and packed up all his stuff.
“Are you still coming over tomorrow?” Riley asks, before her uncle is out the door.
“Of course,” he replies, before shutting the door behind him.
“Sooooo…,” Riley says, giving her best friend a look as she sits down next to her on the couch.
“Don’t start with me,” she replies, grabbing a carton of ice cream and digging in. Riley just laughed in response.
The Next Morning
“Hellooooo Matthews family,” she yells, opening the door to the apartment, the room is empty except for a figure laying on the couch. She quickly realizes its Josh.
“I hope you realize you did this to me,” he says, sneezing. “All I wanted was to study.”
Maya laughs and asks, “Wheres the rest of the family?”
“Topanga is at work, and Cory took the kids to an amusement park when he saw me come in sick.” Josh replies, “such a caring family I have.”
“Well the least I could do is take care of you since you did such a great job taking care of me yesterday.” Maya says, “I’ll go make some soup but first.. they’re marathoning the next season of the Bachelor today.”
I got really, really drunk. But then that led to more anxiety when I got home because I was like, “What have I done? I don’t know.” And he was married. And it was going to be my first time kissing a married man, and guilt is the worst feeling in your stomach. And I knew it was my job, but I couldn’t tell my stomach that. So I called my mom, and I was like, “Will you just tell me it’s OK?” It was just very vulnerable. And you don’t know what’s too much. You want to do it real, you want everything to be real, but then … That was the most vulnerable I’ve ever been.

New interview: Jennifer Lawrence on ‘awful’ swimming sequence and ‘awkward’ sex scene
… We spoke via Skype to Jennifer who was in Berlin as part of her global tour to promote “Passengers.”
Excerpts from our talk:
If, like your character Aurora in “Passengers,” you can finally unplug and be away from everything, what would you enjoy doing?
I would enjoy the silence, the quiet, being alone, definitely not worrying about anybody staring at me. I’d have a glass of wine. I’d look at the cosmos. Then, in five hours, I would start to flip out.
Aurora has these routines—she runs and swims. What are your own routines to ground yourself amid your hectic life?
Kind of similar. I like working out when I travel a lot. I like to sweat after a flight. It makes me feel like I’m getting some of the germs out, and it helps me sleep better. Watching “Modern Family” on my computer. It’s my consistent thing, which I do every night. That’s how I tuck myself in and my self-soothing method.
Always in a strange place
How much do you enjoy being alone?
I enjoy being alone to a certain extent. It’s very important to be able to be alone, to self-soothe, especially with my job. We travel a lot. I’m always in a strange place. I’m rarely ever around my home with my friends and family. I’m normally away from everything I know. I’m [always] in strange hotel rooms.
So, you have to find certain things that keep things familiar. I like to bring candles that smell familiar and that make it smell like my home. When I can bring my dog (Pippi), then all my focus is just on my dog—walking her and playing with her, making sure she’s happy. And that I’m not thinking about myself. Or I watch TV on my computer.
Without giving too much movie magic away, how cool was filming that swimming sequence?
None of it was fun. It was awful. But it was the coolest scene I had ever seen. There are scenes like the beginning of “The Dark Knight”—that scene’s crazy.
But shooting that swimming scene was awful. It was a week and a half of being in a swimming pool for 16 hours a day. And being in a tank. Being flipped upside down with water going up my nose and drinking water all day. It was miserable. But the end result was definitely worth it.
Do you still feel anxious when you have to shoot sex scenes? Have you gotten over filming your first sex scene?
I felt a lot of anxiety. And then I’m so happy that I got there, and I realized how ridiculous it is. The sex scenes are the most un-sexual thing in the entire world. They’re just awkward and funny. So, in the future, I’d probably feel less anxiety.
It’s obviously too early to talk about the children you may have someday. In this movie, you’re the daughter of a famous writer. Your children will also have to deal with having a famous mom. Is that something you think about?
I do think about it, because my children won’t have anything in common with my childhood. So, I’ll be starting completely from scratch.
I wouldn’t be who I am without my struggles. And my kids will grow up with money. I didn’t grow up like that. So there are going to be differences from my childhood to my children’s. But people have done it. I’m pretty sure actors are breeding. And everybody figures out a way.
Can you give us a hint on what to expect from your untitled Darren Aronofsky project?
I got into Mass Effect late, actually. A friend introduced me
to the second game in the trilogy back in 2012. The games quickly became my
favorites and the amount of times I’ve replayed them is probably a little
embarrassing. However, the first couple of times I played through them, I chose
the male version of Commander Shepard. I think it’s because being constantly
surrounded by different types of media that portray men as the heroes and
saviors, and girls as their sisters, mothers, and girlfriends, it just felt
like Commander Shepard should be male.
And being a girl, it was kind of weird and saddening to think that the media
and society sees ME like these women
pushed to the sidelines. Maybe I wanted to try a different type of character or
maybe I wanted a new experience playing my favorite games, but I decided to
play as a female Shepard a few years ago, and since then, I can only play as
Mass Effect is all about the relationships you build with
others, their intricate characterizations, and how they affect the story. There
is not a single squad mate that I dislike because they’re all unique and an
important part of the game’s universe. But I feel that it’s Shepard who truly
makes the games what they are. Your portrayal of the Commander is absolutely
incredible. I can’t imagine her any other way. You have voiced such an amazing
character who means so much to me, and countless others. Commander Shepard, or
at least my version of her, is smart, driven, passionate, strong, beautiful,
and caring, and you’ve shown all of this through your voice. My Commander has kind of been a role model to me,
because I have learned from her that a woman can be all these things and more AND
be the hero. You’ve done her justice, and I cannot even put into words how much
it means to me. Again, thank you so much, for bringing such an important
character to life. I only hope that whoever is voicing the lead in Mass Effect:
Andromeda, that they’ll be half as talented as you!
