Ok but Jenna Rolan standing in front of a mirror for h o u r s introducing herself as "Jenna Canigula" in different types of voices and scenarios just to test out the way it feels
NOOOO THATS SO CUTE??? she knows a lot of diff tones/voices to convey certain moods bc of christine’s constant practices for her roles that jenna picks up on a bit by extension and she can go from a dead-serious, no-nonsense “jenna canigula.” to a really flowery/bouncy “jenna canigula!!!” and she loves the way All of them sound
Tonight (5/6/2017), I got my Mastery 6 Kled after a month of nonstop grinding thanks to this incredible Kalista. Whoever they are, I love them platonically and hope to make the magic that is Kalista ADC and Kled support happen again some day.

“Hey babe what do you say we go on a little date today.” Josh asked walking into your shared bedroom.
“Umm, yeah that sounds good with me, I just have to finish this email and I’ll get ready. Where were you thinking we go?”
“Don’t worry about that. Just dress casual but nice, you know your usual.” he said leaving the room.
Wow was he acting weird. 5 years of dating and you’ve only seen him get like this for our first date, which wasn’t much of a date. You got stuck in a train station in New York due to snow. you was headed to Columbus for my sister’s wedding and he was headed to his family’s house for the holidays. All trains were cancelled for that day but you decided to stick around the station, not knowing much about New York. He did the same. You started talking when he asked if you had a phone charger and when he plugged in the phone with my charger it was at 100%, so you knew he just wanted to talk to me. You had seen him looking at me earlier that day. You started talking about his band and your college and the rest is history. You moved in together 3 years ago in L.A. we both wanted to get away from our gloomy hometowns. You went on tour with him and Tyler most of the time. Going on tour with them was also your job being one of their photographers.
After getting ready for the day you made your way to the car with Josh close by. He seemed more relaxed than earlier but still nervous.
“Are you okay, you seem tense?” you asked.
“Yeah I’m fine.” you knew he was lying but you didn’t push it.
You arrived at a small beach that not many people knew about. You’ve always wanted to go there and take pictures but you never made it down there.
“I know you’ve wanted to come here to take some picture for a while so I thought why not today. I have your camera, a bathing suit, and a picnic in the trunk so we can spend all day here.” he said.
“Aw. this is so sweet. How did you plan this.” you asked when he came around to open your door.
“I’ve been planning a lot. Let’s get down there and have a fun day.” he said grabbing the stuff from the back of the car and leading you to the private place.
“I love you.” you said.
“I love you too. Now go take some amazing pictures.” he handed you your camera and you went off taking picture of anything and everything.
After about a half hour you made it back to where Josh was sitting on a blanket he set out.
“You hungry?” he asked.
You nodded and sat down and gave him a kiss. “Thanks Josh I’ve really wanted to get down here to get pictures.”
“Anything for my love.”
You both sat eating lunch and looking at the pictures that you already had taken. About 20 minutes after eating Josh stood and offered a hand to help you up. You took it and he pulled you into his side.
“Where are we going?” you asked as you started walking with him.
“Let’s get changed, it’s hot out and I wanna go in the water.” he was right it was about 90 degrees and sunny.
Once changed he couldn’t keep his eyes off of you.
“Hey Josh my eyes are up here, not down there.” he blushed and you chuckled.
“Right, sorry. You just look really good today. Not saying you don’t look great everyday but today, something is special.” he said almost hinting at something, but what?
After 5 years of dating he was still embarrassed when you caught him staring at you. It was adorable how much he adored you, but he said from the beginning he would give you the world and that he did. You always came first and you loved him for that.
The water felt refreshing on such a hot day. You and Josh hung out in the water for about a half hour when you decided you wanted to just go lay down in the sun.
He did whatever you wanted that day and it was raising some suspicions. What did he have planned?
You laid with Josh in the sun just talking until it was about 3. It was too hot to be out much longer at the beach so a 4 hour beach trip was fine.
“What do you say we pack up and head back to the car. We can go to that little boardwalk that is really quiet.” Josh suggested.
“Sounds great. I’m just going to take a few more pictures of the scenery then we can go.” you got up and took you camera. When your returned Josh had everything packed and was just waiting for you.
“Sorry I didn’t mean to make you wait.”
“Don’t worry about it. I would wait an eternity for you. You ready?” he asked putting his arm around you shoulder.
After a short car ride to the boardwalk Josh and you began your journey walking. It was a mile walk to the end. There was only one other car was there and it was really quiet and romantic.
“Today was really fun and relaxing.” you said breaking the silence. Josh was back to his awkward self ever since you started the drive here.
“Yeah it has been. I love spending time with you.” he said.
That made you smile. Even though you spent about 98% of your time together, it was always a different type of time while on a date. He always found a way to make you feel special.
You only had a little more ways until the end of the boardwalk when you saw 2 people at the end.
“Maybe we should turn back, I don’t want to ruin those peoples peace.” you said stopping in your tracks. Josh kept pulling you along. “Don’t worry, we won’t be bugging them.” he said with a smile on his lips.
They were just looking over out into the ocean and as you got closer the man turned around and picked something up. You were still a little too far to see, but you could hear that it was a ukelele. The girl turned around and you could see she was filming on a phone. You looked up at Josh who was just smiling like fool as he kept walking with you under his arm that was over your shoulder.
Once only being about 20 feet from the people you realized it was Jenna and Tyler. Tyler was strumming the familiar cord to the song can’t help falling in love.
“Josh what’s going on?” you asked as you stood in front of Tyler who was singing. Josh let go of you and you turned to see him down on one knee opening a little velvet box. Tyler’s voice seemed to fade as all your attention went to Josh. Now it was your turn to be smiling like a fool.
“Y/N, my love, my world, my life. I love you so, so much and I’m not sure why I waited so long to do this and I’m really nervous but I’m gonna do my best I can.” he paused before continuing. “The day I met you in the train station back in New York I couldn’t keep my eyes off of you, I wanted to know you, I wanted to talk to you so badly but all I could do was ask for a dumb charger.” you chuckled thinking back. “It was probably one of the worst moves ever made especially because you caught me lying. I was so glad I got to spent all of that day with you and then the trip to Ohio with you. From the moment I first heard you laugh was when I knew I wanted to be the one to make you laugh for the rest of your life. Your smile brought me so much hope and you saved me from my demons that I was fighting at the time. Everyday I get to spend with you reminds me of why I love you so much. I love you and want to spend my life with you. Y/N will you marry me?” at this point you were about to cry.
“Yes Josh. Oh my god yes.” you said and he stood engulfing you in a hug. You could hear Tyler and Jenna cheering in the back but your world still seemed to be so focused on Josh that you could barely hear them.
When you pulled away from the hug Josh slipped on the ring. You admired it for a moment before hugging him again and he kissed you.
“Josh it’s so beautiful. Oh my god. I’m so shocked.” you said and Jenna and Tyler approached you.
“So,were you surprised Y/N?” Tyler asked.
“Surprised? She should be more than that. Josh waited 5 years to just propose. I haven’t even known you that long Tyler and we’ve been married for 2 years.” Jenna added. You all laughed at that.
“Well I’m shocked, I didn’t think this was going to happen today, let alone you guys. When did you get here?” you asked Tyler and Jenna.
“Josh asked me to come out to sing the song, he knows it’s your favorite and Josh asked Jenna to help with picking the ring. We’ve been here for the past week and you didn’t know anything.” Tyler said.
After what felt like 2 minute was really 3 hours of enjoying eachothers company, catching up. After watching the sun go down you and Josh said your goodbyes and headed home.
“So did you like my surprises?” Josh asked.
“Like? Try love. This was perfect. I love you Josh. You’re really the best.” you said putting your hand on his leg as he drove.
Once pulling in the driveway you turned and kissed Josh. The kiss grew from a sweet one to one full of passion.
“Let’s go inside.” you said pulling away for air. He nodded and got out and lead you inside.
Once the front door was shut Josh had you up against the wall kissing you again. You pushed him off and took him to the couch. He had a smirk on his face as you pushed him down and straddled his lap.
“Y/N, we should stop before this goes any farther.” Josh said as you made your way down to his neck and grinding down on him with your hips.
“Josh, I know we’ve talked about it and I know you wanted to wait until marriage. Don’t you think we’re close enough to that now?”
“You’re right.” he said lifting you and carrying you to the bedroom as he kissed you some more. “I love you Y/N and I’m ready for this.” he placed you down on the bed and took off his shirt and you did the same.
You two had make out and only ever made it as far as you giving him a blowjob and him fingering you. He wasn’t sure he wanted to make it official until marriage and you totally respected that.
“Josh are you sure, I don’t want to pressure you into something you’ll regret.”
“How could I regret it if it’s with the love of my life. I’m sure Y/N.” he said as he worked off your shorts. He started to suck on your neck and you let out a moan when he reached your spot.
He made his way down to your bra and took it off taking one of your breast in his hand massaging it as he kissed you more. Your hips were moving upward towards him in need of some sort of friction.
“Josh, I can’t wait anymore.” you said.
With that he pulled down his short and they were followed by his boxers. You took off your panties and laid on the bed.
“Fuck you’re so hot baby.” he said as he got back on the bed hovering over you.
He lined himself up with your entrance and pushed in until your face of pleasure turned to pain.
“Are you okay? We can stop.”
“No, it’s just I haven’t done this in a really long time. Just go slow.” he did as you asked, moving slowly until you told him you were okay.
“Do you want me to go faster?”
With that he started meeting his hips with yours.
“Fuck, you feel so good.” Josh said growing closer to his high.
“Josh, god you’re so big.” you were barely able to speak from his fast, hard movements.
“Y/N, I’m gonna cum. Where do you want me to?”
“It’s okay I’m on the pill. I want to feel you inside me.” with that he thrusted a few more times triggering your orgasm. As your walls clenched around him you felt him spill inside of you.
“Y/N that was amazing.” he said trying to catch his breathe as he laid next to you.
“You’re telling me. God I just fucked Joshua Dun.” you said. You honestly never thought the day would come because it had been 5 years.
He pulled you close and you laid your head in his bare chest.
“You know soon I’ll be able to call you Y/N Dun. God I’m so happy you said yes.”
“I love the sound of that. Of course I said yes. I’ve known you were the one since you asked me for the charger. It was such a bad move on your part, but I loved it.”
He got embarrassed and you hugged him tight. “Don’t judge the charger move, without it were would we be?” he said defending himself and you giggled. “I love you so much Y/N.”
“I love you too Josh.” with that you fell asleep in his arms.
“Don’t forget, Miss L/n. Ms Jefferson’s room, make sure everything is okay in there before she arrives tonight.” “Yes sir, I’ll be over in a few minutes,” Y/n says through the phone, before hanging up with a sigh. She closes the door of her temporary flat, preparing to make the twenty minute walk to her work place. Don’t get me wrong, she’s very grateful for this job, because trust me, people would kill to be where she was right now. It’s a tough road, but student employment was the best way to pay her tuition fees. The job pays well, really well. She could still chuck money into her savings account and have enough to dance the tap. Sephia Beach Resort, it’s a pretty big thing… Okay, it’s a huge thing. One of the largest beach resorts around, and it will stay that way because privacy is one of it’s Aces. No cameras, no paparazzi, just a bunch of famous people being themselves with the amount of time that they’ve got to do so. Since working there, Y/n had seen a lot of her childhood Idols pass through, she had even met a few. She was so lucky when the manager had sent a letter to her collage saying that they needed workers for the summer, a few of them were picked and sent over. It was on the Northern side of California, just a good way from Pebble beach. It looked pretty much like a giant hotel, there’s a few beach houses along the property, a broad walk that leads to the beach itself. Y/n walks along the broad walk, the sun was coming up over the far hills, a soft wind blowing by. Though this was not much of a vacation, Y/n was glad she got a bit of something. She works from six to eight for the week, and gets the weekends to herself, and on those days she mostly rests or lay around doing nothing. The morning was fairly busy, mostly people are leaving to catch a flight back home, kicking back into their regular lives. Or they’re coming in to relax and be normal like every one else. It’s more of the former, seeing that it’s summer and filming is more likely to be going on now. Sometimes, Y/n wonders how celebrities keep up with their lives in the first place. Always up and about, never really settling, they can’t stay still. Sephia hotel was coming up, the large building casting a shadow over the road. Y/n checks her wrist watch, walking a little faster, stepping down onto asphalt, she crosses the road to the building. Going through the large glass double doors, she just has to stop and marvel. Though she’s been working there for more than two weeks already, stepping through those doors had never ceased to take her breath away. It was like stepping into a movie, a movie with an extremely expensive hotel. From the entrance, expands a very long red carpet that stops at two elevators and that cursed staircase. On the very far right is a breakfast and bar, where some of the staff members are putting out the breakfast items. The lounge alone was huge, there was the receptionist area, where Martha was, a woman who had been working there for a few good years. Y/n shakes her head, reminding herself that she did have work to do, she walks down the two small steps and walk over to Martha. “Mornin’ Martha,” Y/n greets cheerfully, watching as the brunette picks her head up from the book she was looking through, “Ah, Y/n. Good Morning,” She smiles, before reaching beneath the counter to hand her the key to the employee area. “Oh, Y/n.. Mr Francis wants you at the pool for two, okay?” She informs her to which she nods, walking on to the door on the left of the reception area. Most of the staff was extra busy today, tomorrow is the resort’s fifteenth anniversary, and Mr Francis is throwing a beach party. Honestly, Y/n didn’t feel like going, it’s a Saturday, and she loves her sleep, though she doubts she’d get any because there’d be fireworks.
“Don’t you just love working the bar?"
"No, but I love the idea of going home now,"
Jenna, one of the girls who came along for the job too was standing next to Y/n behind the bar counter. Back at school, they’ve barely spoken to each other, but over the past two weeks, Y/n’d like to think she’s made a decent friend. Though Y/n felt like dying, being on her feet all day, that and having to deal with rowdy children at the pool. It’s not like she could tell them anything, firstly, it’s not her place, and secondly, she’d rather not lose her job because she pissed off some actor by telling their kids not to run around the pool. But after that, having to clean some of the rooms and tidy them up and such, she has a very defined headache and wants nothing more than to plant face first into her soft pillows. But, duty calls. She still has a job to do, and right now, that’s serving drinks to any poor bastard that wonders into the hotel bar. Just, grinning and bearing it. Y/n was pulled out of her thoughts by a tapping on her shoulder, Jenna was grinning at her, her pale blue eyes sparkling with mischief. "Y/n.. Don’t look now,” she says lowly, as if she was telling a million dollar secret. “What?” Y/n’s eyebrows scrunch together, gazing at Jenna with confusion. She barely heard what she said, Jenna who was packing away glasses under the counter wiggles her dark eyebrows with a smirk. “Okay, look now.” she says, pointing a perfectly manicured nail to the entrance, making Y/n follow her line of sight, turning her head in time to see Tom Hiddleston walk in. Looking all too good in a dark tee and grey sweats. “Holy shit.” Every nerve in Y/n’s body was telling her to hide, stay low. But he’s already seen her, he’s already smiled and waved in greeting. “Oh God,” Y/n rubs her temples, all the while, Jenna was giggling like a school girl who had just hit her first blunt. When she had told Jenna about what happened, the girl couldn’t stop laughing, though Y/n didn’t find it very amusing. “Goodnight, Mr. Hiddleston,” Jenna greets cheerfully, and Y/n feels her nudging at her foot with her own. “Hello Jenna, Y/n,” Though Y/n’s stomach could flip trying to gather butterflies from the way her name just rolled off his tongue, she just couldn’t ignore the fact that the bruise is still above his left eyebrow. And she still feels guilty, it was her fault really. Though he insisted on taking the blame, because he did scare her, accidentally or not. Okay, so, Y/n was cleaning the room he was occupying earlier today. She had gone in thinking he was out, and she carried on sweeping about, minding her own business. When all of a sudden, he came out of the bathroom and said a polite ‘Good Evening,’. Y/n was perfectly certain that she had locked the door behind her, was thoroughly scared shitless, swung the broom stick like an uncoordinated Jedi. “What can we get you?” Y/n asks, smiling lightly. He chuckles, running a hand through his brown hair.
No, no. Stop that.
“Bourbon, please,” Next to Y/n, Jenna lets out a hum, and Y/n catches her knowing glance. No doubt, they were probably thinking the same thing, he was drinking strong to get rid of the splitting headache he was surely having. While Jenna leans against the marble surface of the counter top, Y/n pours his requested drink in a glass. “Thank you,” Tom says when the girl places the glass in front of him. Before their unfortunate meeting, Y/n and Tom didn’t talk, and why would they? She just works there. They had seen each other around though, mostly on early mornings during the week or on the weekends when they’d both be out for a run. But it doesn’t extend beyond a friendly Hello or a nod. But all that changed after whacking him with a broom. “So, are you two coming to the beach party tomorrow night?” Tom asks, raising an eyebrow his eyes darting between both girls. Before Y/n could open her mouth to decline, Jenna pipes up, “Yeah! We are, we’ll be there,” she smiles, nodding excitedly. Tom smiles back before downing the remaining alcohol, “Great!” Y/n tries not to let it get to her, but the way he looked into her eyes at that moment, she just knew that he was talking to her, “See you then,” When he left the room, Jenna’s squeal pulls her to reality. “why?” Y/n questions, and Jenna grins. “What do you mean why? Are you kidding me?” “Uh, I don’t follow… ” Jenna sighs, putting her both hands on Y/n’s shoulders, giving them a gentle squeeze. “If whacking a guy with a broom scores me a date, I would’ve whacked a cute one already.” she laughs, “Girl, Tom Hiddleston just said he wanted to hang out with you.” Y/n laughs, shaking her head at her friend. That’s silly, he just said he’d see them. That doesn’t mean he wants to hang out, for all she knows, the guy has a girlfriend back home. Maybe he wants to whack her back with a broom. When it was time for them to go home, the two girls walked together. Jenna saying that she’s come over to hers tomorrow so they could prepare for the beach party.
“How about this?” Jenna asks, holding up yet another bikini top, Y/n scrunches up her nose in distaste at the shade of pink. “No.” Jenna sighs, rolling her eyes as she drops the top in the pile next to her feet. The two had been at this for twenty minutes, trying to find the right beach wear to go to the party that kicks off in an hour. Jenna was already dressed, wearing a tank top and jeans shorts over her black bikini that looked perfect against her pale skin. Clearly she has plans to go into the water. “Y/n, it’s not like he’s going to see it. It’s gonna be under your clothes,” Jenna says, as she digs through Y/n’s clothes, “Oh you have got to wear this one,” the dark haired girl smiles, pulling a emerald green top from her drawer. The green fabric was dotted with gold, and suddenly, Y/n knew exactly why she picked it. “Jenna.” “He’s not gonna see it….Well… unless you decide to get frisky.” Jenna wiggles her eyebrows, throwing the top at her, and Y/n rolls her eyes but caves anyway. “Fine, okay. And no one’s getting frisky.” Later the two were walking down the broad walk towards the beach, the air was a bit chilly for early July, but nothing Y/n couldn’t handle. “This is gonna be so much fun. Thank god we don’t work on the weekend, I’d hate to be serving drinks when I could be drinking.” Jenna says, “I almost feel sorry for Caleb,” she says, talking about one of the boys who Y/n is quite familiar with. When they finally got to the beach, Jenna immediately went to grab them drinks. The beach was completely decked out, there was tables filled with refreshments, and anything else you could think of. Chairs was set up under white tents, Christmas lights every where, casting a perfect soft glow, music blasting, and a huge bonfire roaring not far away from everything else. The soft crashing of waves in the background of it all. People were scattered about, chatting with each other, drinking or eating. Jenna soon returns with two strawberry margaritas, handing one to Y/n. “Well, this is quiet… ” she mutters, taking a sip from her drink. “It’ll pick up soon,” a voice says behind the girls, causing them both to jump. “Sorry,” It was Tom, chuckling to himself, holding a drink of his own. Jenna waves it off, “It’s alright, luckily for you, she doesn’t have a broom,” “Jenna.” Jenna looks between the both of them, “Oh, right. We were avoiding that…. sorry…. I’ll just um…yeah.” the girl then excuses her self awkwardly, turning on her heels before walking over to the refreshment area. Tom and Y/n watches as she does so, “Is she always that awkward?” “Not when she’s embarrassing me, no.” Y/n chuckles, taking a long drink from her margarita. Tom chuckles, coming to stand next to her, “So you came,” he mutters. “I did, why wouldn’t I?” “Well, yesterday you gave the impression that you didn’t want to… ”
Well I just had to, after hitting you with a broom and all…
“Do you…uh, wanna take a walk?” Tom asks, tilting his chin towards the other end of the beach where it was quiet. “Yeah sure,” Y/n shrugs smiling up at him. The began walking and Y/n tried hard to ignore Jenna’s loud whistle and her shout of, “Go get 'em!” Tom and Y/n stops walking when the music to them was a soft lull and there was nothing but the moonlight and the relaxing crash of the ocean. Their walk was filled with lighthearted jokes and conversation. Y/n leans against a large rock, narrowing her eyes at him, “You haven’t brought me all the way out here to kill me have you?” Tom chuckles, shaking his head, “No, no. We’re not far enough, people would hear you scream.” “What?” Y/n was ready to back away and run for her life but he gives her a dashing smile, “I’m kidding Darling,”
“Oh,” Y/n laughs, her empty glass forgotten now. “Hey, sorry about the broom thing..” Tom waves her off, leaning against the rock too, telling her that it was totally okay. For a moment, the two just enjoy the comfortable silence between them, contented with watching the waves. Y/n wondering why he asked her to walk all the way out there anyway, “You know, Y/n…I’m really glad you did hit me that one time.” Tom says, his eyes looking at the vast expansion of ocean. “Really? I thought you’d be wanting to whack me back,” the girl jokes lightly, nudging him with her shoulder. “No, but I could throw you in the ocean,” “I’d like to see you try Tom,” And with that, the girl bolts, running away from him. With a short laugh, Tom chase’s after her. Y/n didn’t get far though, Tom’s legs being way longer than hers and the fact that he was running faster. As weird as it was, to Y/n, this all felt almost natural, like it was just common for him to he around her. When hr caught her, Y/n couldn’t help but laugh when his arms wrapped around her waist and he begins walking backwards to the sea. “Wait you were serious?” “Yes, think of it as pay back,” he says right in her ear, his warm breath ghosting across her neck. Y/n was suddenly dropped, engulfed by cold water, her clothes was now soaked and as she surfaced she could hear Tom laughing.
This was in fact, the start of something very beautiful.
You hated how the sun peaked throw your blinds and found the perfect spot to blind you even though you eyes were closed. You struggled to open them and eventually did, immediately looking at the bed to see if Josh was okay, but he wasn’t there. You sat up and looked around the room when suddenly Josh walked into your bedroom with breakfast on a tray. “Hey, you’re awake”, he set down the tray on the floor where you had slept, “I felt bad about how I came last night and made you sleep on the floor so I made you breakfast.” He sat with his legs crossed next to you and leaned his head on your shoulder, you heart almost shooting out of your chest. The truth of your relationship with Josh was that you had been in love with him since you were kids. Cliché right? But you couldn’t help yourself. He was kind, loving, confident, and determined. His looks were a bonus. “Want to talk about it?” You managed to say. “I would. But I can’t. I have to be at soundcheck at 2:30 and it’s already 1. I have to shower and get ready and head over there. But, you’re coming to the show right? I’ll tell you after the show.” He raises his head off your shoulder and looks at you, giving you a small smile. He kisses your cheek as always and leaves your bedroom. After hearing the front door slam, you let out the breath you hadn’t realized you had been holding. “Fuck.” You sighed.
You and Josh were just born into being best friends. Your parents had always been extremely close so it was like your guys’ destiny to be inseparable. Around 7th grade, you began seeing Josh in a different way when he asked you to the school dance because your date told you he didn’t want to go with you anymore. Since that day you guys were slow dancing to some song, you never looked at Josh as just your best friend, but your first love. After Josh got big with TOP, you saw less of him, but your relationship remained strong, even when Debby came into the picture. It became stronger when she left the picture because you proved to Josh that you would always be there for him no matter what day or time.
You had until 7 to kill time and after getting ready, cleaning the house, and watching a movie, it was only 5. “I doubt they would mind me being early.” The entire way to the venue you decided to tell Josh your feelings. After helping him last night and you being the closest person to him to go to the show, maybe it was the day. Walking through the venue you felt like you could barf, but you held it back. You found Tyler and Jenna in the dressing room laying on the couch, Tyler scrolling through twitter and Jenna picking his nose trying to get his attention. “Tyler! Jenna!” You jumped both of them, Jenna screaming “Y/N!” Tyler wrapped you in a tight hug, “I missed you. Everyone around here did.” Tyler and Jenna were tied at second in line as best friends, after Josh. “I missed everyone, too. Speaking of everyone, I saw the crew, but where’s Josh?” You asked. “He’s in another dressing room. He was doing an interview, but that was an hour ago. That should have been done a while ago, but who knows? I’ve been in this position since after soundcheck. Go look for him though. Go down to the end of the hall and it’s the first door on your left.” Jenna said. You gave her a thank you and followed the directions she gave you. Down the hall.“Josh, stop” A girl’s voice. Then a giggle. First door.“They think i’m in an interview, it’s okay.” His voice. To the left. The door was left slightly cracked and you peeped through.
Debby was resting on Josh’s lap with Josh kissing and nibbling at her neck. She giggled and smiled as Josh’s hands wandered all over her body. Your stomach turned and you feel like you were actually going to be sick. You felt tears forming in your eyes and felt yourself lose your breath. You couldn’t just barge in there and be angry. How would you explain that? Oh hey, i’ve been in love with you forever now so ditch her and love me back now. That’s not how it works. You saw the condition Josh was in last night when he appeared on your balcony. Josh loved Debby and he missed her, what he was doing wasn’t bad. He was also unaware of your feelings for him. But, you still couldn’t stomach the sight. You know it would be like this for the rest of the night and you knew you wouldn’t be able to hold back the tears. You pulled out your phone and sent Josh a text, “Hey, got sick, won’t be able to make it. Have a good show. I’ll see you later.” You pressed send as you walked through the venue to the exit.

“Get out of my way… loser.” Jeremy gritted through his teeth.
Michael’s world came crashing down as the boy left the bathroom he was hiding in. Michael lunged for the door and locked it behind Jeremy. Michael felt his world crashing. He couldn’t breathe. Everything was in slo-mo, and sped up at the same time. He couldn’t breathe. Everything was swirling.
Michael started shoving through the medicine cabinet. Something just.. clicked. He grabbed every pill bottle possible. He popped all the full ones open and downed them. It felt like hours of swallowing tons of pills. He started to black out. He need to leave. Now. Michael couldn’t think, but he had to get out. He opened the door, stumbled out onto the hallway, and didn’t remember getting outside.
Jeremy laid in his bed. His head pounded. Why did he have so much to drink?
The noise was so loud.. so painful..
‘DO NOT OPEN THAT DOOR.’
Jeremy stumbled downstairs and opened the door. It was Michael’s Dad. He was.. crying? Michael’s Dad? Showing emotion? How?
Jeremy let him in and he sat on the couch.
“Mich…Michael… He’s..” Mr. Mell stammered.
“He’s dead! He was at some party.. and people say he killed himself… I don’t know how..” He blubbered.
Jeremy froze. His SQUIP did as well.
“M…Michael’s…” Jeremy stammered.
“He’s gone! My son!”
‘I TOLD YOU NOT TO OPEN THAT DOOR.’
Jeremy felt the world swallow him. He opened his eyes, which he hadn’t realized he had closed, and saw that he was on the ground.
“I.. hav-have to go..” Michael’s dad stepped around Jeremy, still sobbing. Jeremy slowly climbed to his feet, still shocked. He numbly walked up the stairs and face planted into his pillow. Michael killed himself.
And it was all Jeremy’s fault.
Jeremy sat under the covers. He was numb. It had been hours. Or seconds. Or days. It didn’t matter. Jeremy refused to move.
‘JEREMY, YOU CAN’T STAY LIKE THIS. IT’S UNHEALTHY.’
“Michael..is..dead…and..it’s…my..fault..” Jeremy uttered for the 87th time. He would cry, but he had no more tears left. He was numb. It didn’t feel real.
‘JEREMY, GET OUT OF BED. IT’S BEEN DAYS.’ The SQUIP would shock him, but that would damage the boy further, which would be counter-productive.
“Doesn’tmatter..” Jeremy uttered for the 87th time as well. He refused to leave his mattress.
“Go away..” Jeremy wrapped himself in a blanket to hide how skinny he was getting due to not eating.
“Jeremy, you have to do something. Get some sleep. Eat something. You can’t live like this. We’re all worried about you. You can’t stay like this forever.” Jeremy’s Dad tried to open the locked door. “You can see someone if you need help.”
“I don’t want help. I don’t need help. I don’t need food. I don’t deserve food.” Jeremy whispered.
‘LISTEN TO YOUR PARENTAL UNIT.’
“Jeremy, open the door.”
Jeremy reached across his bed and unlocked the door, still not leaving the blankets.
Jeremy’s Dad came in and gasped when he saw his son. Jeremy was skinnier than usual. He had bags under his eyes. His hair was a mess.
“Jeremy!” Mr. Heere breathed.
“Go away. I’m staying here forever.”
“I’ll be back.”
Mr. Heere left the room and Jeremy heard dialing from the home phone. Jeremy picked up one of the lines to hear who Mr. Heere was talking to. Jeremy muted his end.
“Hello?” That was Brooke’s voice.
“I need you and all of Jeremy’s friends to come here.”
“Yes, sir. We’ve been worried about Jeremy.. Where has he been? Is he sick?”
“He’s locked himself away in his bedroom. He hasn’t even come out. I don’t think he’s even been eating. I hope you guys can help him.”
“We can be there in ten minutes.”
Jeremy hung up as well and stuffed it under the pillow. He looked up at his cell phone. Also untouched for days. He couldn’t bear to look at the wallpaper.
“Come in.” Jeremy heard his Dad whisper. Jeremy locked his door and wrapped even more blankets around him so they couldn’t tell his harm.
“Jeremy? It’s Brooke.”
“And Jake! Duude, What’re you doing?”
“Shut up, Jake. He’s hurting.”
Jeremy just clasped his ears shut, squeezing his eyes tight.
‘JEREMY. LET THEM IN. BROOKE WILL CARE FOR YOU MORE, AND JAKE WILL SPREAD THE WORD. YOU WANTED TO BE POPULAR, RIGHT? THIS IS YOUR CHANCE.’
“Jeremy’s not here.” He croaked.
“Jeremy, c’mon. Let us in.” Jake knocked again.
Jeremy involuntarily unlocked the door. His hand wasn’t his own.
Jeremy sat criss-cross, wrapped in blankets.
“What?” Jeremy muttered.
“We’re worried. You haven’t come left in almost 2 weeks! That’s dangerous, Jeremy! Your Dad said you aren’t eating, or drinking! You’re super pale. You need something.”
“I don’t deserve food. I did this. I did this to myself. And I deserve it.” Jeremy told himself, feeling his throat clog up, but he had no more tears to cry.
“Why are you so upset?”
“It’s Michael.” Jeremy sighed.
“That geek? I saw him. He looked awful. He looked like he was dying.” Jake snickered.
“Because he WAS.” Jeremy hissed. He had a feeling his SQUIP would shock him, so he added: “Sorry for snapping..”
“That’s OK, Jeremy. We know you’re hurting. But you can’t stay like this forever.”
“I don’t have any other choice.”
‘YES, YOU DO.’
“No I don’t.” Jeremy told the supercomputer.
“Don’t what?” Jake asked.
“Nothing.” Jeremy realized he was talking out loud. He had a bad streak of that.
“Well, you’re coming out with us. To PinkBerry.” Brooke demanded.
“My best friend is dead, and ice cream won’t change that.” Jeremy snapped.
“Yeah, it’s sad, but you can’t live your life just sitting in your bedroom!” Jake retaliated.
“It’s not like anyone would notice.”
“Dude, everyone would notice.” Jake scoffed. Jeremy didn’t care anymore. It was all his fault his friend was dead.
“Get dressed. I’ll be downstairs. Jake, help him. Or something.” Brooke pulled out her phone as she left.
Jake started going through Jeremy’s closet.
‘DON’T LET HIM DO THAT. YOU ONLY HAVE ONE COOL SHIRT.’
“Damn, you have a lot of bad shirts.” Jake scoffed. He pulled out a plain striped one. “This one’s OK.”
“Fine..” Jeremy muttered. He unwrapped his blankets. He was only wearing his sweatpants, seeing his bedroom had become too hot to wear a pajama shirt.
“Damn!” Jake dropped the shirt.
“Dude, your dad said you weren’t eating, but I didn’t know he meant this! You look like a skeleton! I can see your ribcage, sorta!”
Jeremy ignored the comment and grabbed some black jeans. Jake was going through Jeremy’s closet as Jeremy changed and when he was slipping on his socks, Jake clapped his hands together.
“Let’s go. Oh my god, your face.”
“What?” Jeremy asked, meaner this time.
“Have you eaten ANYTHING? Like, have you drank any water?”
“I haven’t left my bed. Did I mention my best friend is dead?”
“Sorry dude. We have to go. Like, now. You look like you’re about to die.”
Jeremy did feel weak, but he ignored it. He also did feel a little lightheaded, but probably from dehydration. The mood swings and irritation were probably the same cause.
“Brooke! Let’s go!” Jake called from the top of the stairs. They both stomped down the stairs, Jake faster than Jeremy.
“Oh my god!” Brooke almost dropped Jeremy’s shoes when she saw him.
Jeremy slipped on his sneakers. He blocked out Brooke, Jake, and his Dad’s conversation. They all were talking about where they would be, how they’d make sure Jeremy was eating, and when they’d be back. They treated Jeremy like a young child who couldn’t care for himself. Jeremy sat down on the stairs as he felt a little lightheaded.
“Can we go now?” Jeremy huffed.
“Thank you, you two. I mean it.” Mr. Heere slapped Jeremy on the back gently.
The three left, and when Jeremy got in shotgun (Brooke insisted) he immediately took a breather. He was out of air.
“Woah, my god.” Chloe said.
“Yeah, that’s how bad it is. We aren’t going to PinkBerry. We’re going to dinner.”
“Dinner? What time is it?” Jeremy asked, leaning back against his seat.
“It’s almost 6. Wanna pick up Christine?” Chloe asked Brooke without moving her eyes from the road.
“No!” Jeremy sat straight up.
“OK, well we’re going to go pick up Jenna.”
Jeremy leaned back against his seat. His eyelids felt heavy for the first time in days. He slept a lot the first two days he locked himself away, but wasn’t able to sleep a wink any other time. And before he knew it, Jeremy was out like a light.
“Jeremy.. Jereeemyyy..” Brooke waked him.
“Whuh?” Jeremy flew his eyes open.
“You fell asleep before we even left your driveway. Are you OK?” Jenna asked, leaning against the car. Everyone was out of the car, but his door was open. Brooke was leaning over him.
“Jus.. yeah. I’m..” Jeremy was about to say ‘fine’ but he heard the voice in his head.
‘SWITCHING PROGRAMMING..SWITCH 0% DONE.’
“..fine.” Jeremy unbuckled and looked out the window to see they were in a Wendy’s parking lot. Jeremy slipped out of the seat and followed the group inside. When they stepped in, Jeremy was blasted with cold air. He wasn’t used to not being surrounded by blankets, so he let out a shudder.
“You want my jacket?” Jake asked.
Jake handed Jeremy the varsity jacket with ‘DILLINGER’ imprinted on the back.
“What do you want? You two go get a seat.” Chloe asked, motioning for Brooke and Jeremy to go sit down.
“I’ll have some chicken.. oh and some fries.” Jeremy added.
“Hmm.. I want a salad.” Brooke studied the menu.
The two sat in a booth nearby. Jeremy crossed his arms and laid them on the table, resting his chin on the table, too.
“Your hair’s a mess.” Brooke laughed. She pulled out a small hairbrush and went to work. Jeremy didn’t protest.
A few minutes later the group came back and sat down with a number card. They were table 9.
“So.. you wanna talk about it?” Brooke asked, putting away the hairbrush.
“Not really..” Jeremy sat up.
“That was rhetorical. You have no choice.”
“Why were you so upset?” Chloe asked.
“I..just.. He was my best friend for 12 years. And one day, I just.. got mad at him.. and called him a loser. He has-well.. had..- social anxiety. I can’t believe I called him a loser. And then.. At your damn party.. He..” Jeremy rested his arms back on the table and hid his face. He didn’t want everyone to know he was crying, or at least about to.
The silence hung in the air.
“Here comes the food.” Jenna broke the silence.
“And Christine.” Chloe added.
“Wait, Christine?!” Jeremy shot straight up. He leaped out of his seat, which he was fortunately on the end of the booth, and hurried to the bathroom.
He looked at his reflection. His face was red and blotchy, and almost white as a ghost. He splashed his face with water. He dried his face with a paper towel. He barely looked any better. He either looked like he was crying, or on every drug possible. Jeremy hoped Christine didn’t think the ladder.
He took a deep breath and marched outside.
He slipped into the booth across from Christine.
“Oh my god! Jeremy?” Christine gasped.
“Hey.. Christine.” Jeremy started to sweat.
“Are you OK?!”
“Y-” Jeremy started.
“No he isn’t.” Jake intervened. “He’s been mourning in his bedroom for two weeks. He hasn’t eaten or drank any water or anything. He hasn’t even left his bed.”
“Here. We ordered you two large waters.” Brooke slid them to him. Jeremy hesitated. “You aren’t doing anything to you drink those. You know how pale you look?”
Jeremy started to suck on the straw when the group started to tell Christine what was going on with Jeremy. Christine would glance at Jeremy every now and then. When he finished the first water they passed him some food. Jeremy hesitated. He would feel worse than before. If he ate, his body would store the food thinking it wouldn’t eat again, which it probably wouldn’t. Jeremy only knew this because one time when he was smoking with…when he was high, he googled stuff about it, because he had the munchies.
Jeremy started to eat. When he finished the first chicken strip, He laid his head on the table. “Oh dear god!” Jeremy hissed.
“What?” Asked Jenna, who sat beside him.
“Holy crap!” Jeremy yelled. “Oh my fuck! My stomach!” And there it goes. Suddenly, he felt like he’d never eaten before. Before he didn’t feel thirsty or hungry. Or tired. But as soon as he left his bedroom, he felt so tired. Jeremy didn’t lift his head but clenched his stomach with one arm and banged his fist on the table with the other. He was so hungry he felt sick.
Jeremy rested his arm. “I want to go home now.”
“You haven’t eaten anything.” Jenna commented.
“I want. To go. Home.”
“Let’s all go back to my place.” Chloe volunteered.
Jeremy stood up, but only to feel pain in his stomach. He could make it to the car. Right?
Christine came back with a To-Go bag. She poured all the food into it and they all headed to the parking lot, everyone behind Jeremy as he tried to disguise his pain. Good thing they parked right in front. Jeremy climbed into shotgun. Christine passed the food off to Jenna and went to her own car. They all piled into Chloe’s Mom’s SUV and Jeremy buckled in. He was going to fall back asleep, but he felt awful.
Jeremy felt so dazed, he didn’t realize that they were pulling into Chloe’s neighborhood. Did she live so close? Probably not. Jeremy unbuckled as they pulled into the garage. He wobbled to his feet and walked inside.
“MOM! I’M HAVING SOME FRIENDS OVER!” Chloe called.
“That’s fine, Honey. And I’m right here.” Chloe’s mom replied from the couch. Jeremy hid behind Jake and they all went upstairs. Jeremy took off Jake’s jacket and handed it to him.
They all sat down on the floor as seconds later Christine came in, too. Brooke dialed on her phone and then handed it to Jeremy.
“Hello?” Jeremy’s dad asked.
“Hey, Dad. I’m staying over at Chloe’s with everybody else.”
“OK, Good. I was worried. I’m happy you’re getting better. I also booked an appointment with a nearby therapist. A buddy of mine told me about him. It’s tomorrow around dinner time.”
“Wait, what?! I don’t need a therapist!”
“I’m sorry, Jeremy. But I’m worried about you. Maybe you’d like to talk about it with a third party?”
“I don’t need a therapist. Bye, Dad.” Click.
“You’re getting a therapist?” Christine asked.
“Apparently. Pass the Wendy’s.”
Jeremy finished his last water after all his food. He still felt hungry.
“We ordered you another chicken in case. You want it?” Brooke asked.
Jeremy pulled it out of the bag and chomped it down.
‘GOAL, 100% COMPLETE. GOAL, UPDATED.’
“Can we go to the mall tomorrow?”
“Sure. What for?”
“I need to stop by Spencer’s Gifts.” Jeremy tugged on his shirt where his heart is. He squeezed it in a fist.
‘ACCESSING MEMORY. OH, GOOD.’
‘Yeah, I guess.’
‘I’M PROUD OF YOU, JEREMY. YOU’RE EATING AGAIN.’
Jeremy still felt so sluggish and fatigued. The metabolism was still so low, as his body stored the food.
“When you don’t eat for days, and I mean days, and you suddenly start eating again your body doesn’t trust it’ll get food again, so it stores the food thinking it won’t eat for a while. And you’re even more sick than before.” Jeremy leaned against the edge of Chloe’s bed.
“Oh..Kay?” Chloe raised an eyebrow.
“I’m going to sleep now.” Jeremy added, so they got the point.
“You and Jake can take the bed since: A, you’re both guys, and B, it’s a double sized. I call the futon.” Chloe started to switch the chair out to a bed.
“We can make sleeping bags out of blankets and pillows!” Christine said giddily.
“Yeah!” Jenna and Brooke chimed in.
Jeremy climbed into the bed, still fully clothed, and fell asleep in seconds.
Jeremy woke up in the middle of the night. He sat up sluggishly. He looked down to his right to see Jake asleep. He peered out to the floor to see the three girls all snuggled up, and Chloe passed out on the futon. Jeremy smiled. He saw on the bedside table Brooke’s phone with a little note “If you want to call your Dad, he’s on speed dial :)” Jeremy picked up the phone, and got blinded by the light and lowered the brightness, and saw 3 missed calls from his dad. Sure, 1AM was a good time to pick up.
His dad answered on the second to last ring.
“Hello? Brooke? Jeremy?” He asked. He sounded wide awake.
“Hey, Dad.” Jeremy mumbled.
“Oh, Son, you gave me a heart attack.”
“I just fell asleep after I ate. Remember that metabolism fact I told you? Yeah, That happened. I’m sorry, Dad.”
“That’s fine. I was just worried. You can’t do that to yourself, Jeremy, god.”
“I’m sorry, Dad. But hey, I’m getting better, I guess.”
“You’re still going to that appointment. Now, get some sleep.”
Jeremy woke up to see the group playing cards on the ground. He woke up laying sideways.
“Oh! Dude! You’re awake! I thought I woke you up when I got up because when I got out of bed you slowly turned sideways.” Jake laid down his cards facing up so everyone could see.
“Jake, you lost again. Stop putting you’re cards up!” Jenna snickered.
“Do you still feel sick?” Christine asked.
“A little. I am pretty hungry. What time is it?”
“It’s around 10:30. You guys want some cereal?” Chloe asked the group, collecting the cards and storing them back in the box.
The group started to go downstairs.
Before they got to Chloe’s parents he turned to Jenna and asked “Do I look any better?”
“Not really.. probably because of that meta thing you said last night.”
“Metab.. never mind.”
“Hey mom. We’re awake.”
“I made pancakes!”
Jeremy sighed. Just the mention of food wiped his appetite away. He sat down next to Brooke as a plate was set in front of him.
As everyone else dug in, Jeremy avoided eye contact and felt embarrassed.
“I thought you said you were hungry.” Brooke said between chews.
“I promised Mr. Heere, Jeremy. Please? For me?”
Jeremy wasn’t in love with Brooke, but he can’t say no to that face. He started to cut his pancake.
He ate pretty fast. But when they went back upstairs to get dressed, Jeremy felt a little sick.
Jeremy grabbed a comb from Chloe’s dresser and attempted to fix his hair. Which was impossible. But he tried.
The group all went down into the SUV, including Christine.
“I’ll sit in the back.” Jeremy shyly announced. “I need to grab my phone from my house, too. If that’s fine w-with you, Chloe.”
“No way. You’re sitting up front with me. And yeah, your house is on the way to the mall, so it all works.” Chloe said back, not lifting her gaze from her phone. Jeremy tried to not turn red; He wasn’t used to all this attention. He liked it, but he felt like they were caring too much and he felt a little guilty. Christine and Jenna sat in the back-back, or the 3rd row, and Jake and Brooke sat in the middle. Jeremy lived only a couple blocks away, so it was only a couple minute drive.
‘Helloooo? What’re you doing? Why did you change the goal?’
‘WELL, I FEARED YOU MIGHT BE SLIPPING BACK INTO ISOLATION, SO MY PRIMARY GOAL IS TO MAKE SURE YOU’RE FUNCTIONING SAFELY. PEOPLE CARE ABOUT YOU, JEREMY.’
‘So? I’m fine..’
‘10 DAYS IN YOUR BEDROOM DOES NOT DEFINE ‘FINE’.”
“Jeremy? Why’re you making that face? Are you OK?” Jenna asked from the backseat.
“O-Oh! It’s nothing.. I was just.. thinking.” Jeremy was caught so off guard, he had a whole pause between the “O” and “H”. Chloe pulled into Jeremy’s garage. His dad must’ve gone to work, or let his coworker use his car. Most likely the former.
Jeremy hopped out of the car and walked up to his bedroom. He locked his gaze on his bed. How badly did he want to just crawl in there and not leave? Was it worth ditching his friends? Well.. maybe he could lay down just for a little…
“JEREMY HEERE! YOU BETTER NOT BE HIDING AGAIN!” Jake shouted, making Jeremy jump. He landed on his back and had to check to make sure his own heart was beating. His eyes were wide open.
“J..ake..” Jeremy huffed. He was having trouble breathing. Jeremy sat up and started having a coughing fit.
“Oh, sorry man. Brooke just told me to make sure you weren’t hiding.”
“I thought about it.” Jeremy scowled.
“Jesus, Man.. you can’t do that to me.” Jeremy said between coughs.
“Sorry dude. Grab your phone and lets go. Brooke also told me to talk to your dad.”
Jeremy grabbed his cell hesitantly and followed Jake downstairs.
“Mr. Heere?” Jake asked.
“Right here! In the office.” The two took a sharp right into the home office.
“Wow. This is nice.” Jake gazed around the room.
“Hey, Jeremy, your appointment is at 5.”
“I don’t need an app-mmph!” Jeremy started, but Jake clasped his hand over his mouth.
“We’ll take him.”
“Thank you so much, Jake. I really appreciate it. You guys are such good friends for Jeremy, and he really needs it in this time, especially with what’s been going on.” Jeremy’s Dad monologued while Jeremy was trying to wrestle Jake’s hand off his mouth. Jeremy’s Dad grabbed Jeremy’s phone during this.
“Hey! Give that back!”
“Give me a moment.” He surfed through what felt like hours, and then tossed it back to him.
“Let’s go! We gotta get to the mall. After that, we’re visiting Rich!” Jake started to leave.
“Oh, and Jeremy?”
“I want you to talk to your mom. Go to her house, call her, doesn’t matter. I want you to talk to her.”
They pulled into the outlet mall. Jeremy tried to sprint, but he was so sluggish, it looked like it was in slo-mo. He gave up and just speed walk, which was also slow.
“What’s the rush?”
“I need to get to Spencer’s gifts.”
“Isn’t that behind the store? That place is super shady..” Jenna started, but Jeremy was going as fast as he could, which wasn’t that fast.
He hurried through the center of the mall and around a huge fountain, and hurried into the small store.
“I need a Mountain Dew: Red!”
“OK, dude. Chill. Aren’t you Mell’s friend?”
Jeremy bit his lip. “Y-Yeah.. Just.. give me the soda. Please.”
“That’ll be 2.56.”
Jeremy paid her a 5. He hurried back to the group, hiding the soda in the paper bag he was given. They all gave quizzical looks, but continued back to the car with him. He looked happy, so they couldn’t protest.
When they all buckled in, Jeremy opened the soda.
“This is going to hurt like a motherfucker.” Jeremy announced. “I’m going to scream a lot but ignore me.”
“Because. Now, nothing can stop me.”
Jeremy downed the entire bottle. He let out a scream. He slammed his hands against his forehead, shoving himself back against the seat, and howled like a wounded animal. He was trying not to slam his head into the airbag, and setting it off. He didn’t remember to stop screaming until he felt emptiness. He kicked his feet all over. Chloe and everyone else was trying to hold him back, but Chloe had to drive. She ended up pulling over. Brooke unbuckled and reached down into and lowered his seat into laying position. They all were pinning Jeremy down while he screamed like in the Exorcist.
Jeremy finally started to calm down, but then he felt a sharp zap in his head and screamed more. He didn’t remember stopping.
Jeremy woke up in the car. He looked up out the windshield to see they were at the hospital. Chloe was looking for a parking spot. All the others had gone inside. The SQUIP must’ve been keeping his stomach fueled the best it could, because he felt worse than before.
“Go back to sleep, Jeremy. We’ll wake you up in an hour.”
Jeremy was shaken awake.
“Jeremy.. Jeremy?” Jake asked.
“Mmmph.. I’m up.”
“Wake up. Rich wants to see you. Are you OK?”
“Has it been an hour?” Jeremy asked. He sat up to see he had a blanket on him, which was obviously from the trunk. It was Chloe’s Mom’s car.
He sat up and climbed out of the car. He was still half asleep. His brain felt so scattered. Like it was ripped in pieces.
The receptionist stopped the two when they walked in.
“Are you checking in another patient? He looks very malnourished.”
“We’re just visiting.” Jake told her, as they hurried into the elevator.
Jake jabbed the button, and Jeremy struggled to scatter his brain back together.
“Are you OK?” Jake asked again.
“You were screaming. A lot.”
“I told you guys to ignore me.”
“Yeah, but it’s hard to when you’re kicking and punching everything and screaming your head off.” Jake joked as they walked into the room.
“Woah.” Jenna immediately looked up from her phone to see Jeremy.
“Yo? Jeremy’s here?” Rich asked.
The curtain was shoved back to reveal Rich, who was in a full body cast.
“Holy shit!” Rich screamed.
“Rich!” Brooke hissed.
“You told me not to be worried if he looked messed up. He looks like a monster!”
“Thanks, Rich.” Jeremy sat on the empty cot next to him.
“Dude, what is your problem?”
“I..uh…well.. at the party..” Jeremy stammered. “My..Uh..The SQUIP..Michael..just..”
“Jeremy, you don’t have to tell him. I can do it if you want.” Brooke told him slowly.
Jeremy swallowed and nodded frantically.
“At the party, Michael and Jeremy had a fight and said things they didn’t mean. And Michael… took his own life. Jeremy..”
“I locked myself in my room for 10 days. I didn’t eat. I didn’t leave my bed. I almost died. And I just got locked OUT of my room. And.. my metabolism-” Jeremy said numbly.
“If you say that metabolism fact one more time, Jeremy Heere I swear to god!” Jenna called from the seats behind the curtain.
“And I’m slowly dying.” Jeremy continued numbly.
Jeremy didn’t move his body and just flopped backwards.
“Can I go home?” Jeremy asked. “I’ve had a lot of fun and all.. With the sleepover and the dinner and.. But I’m tired.”
“If you lock yourself in your bedroom, for more than a day, we’re calling the cops.” Chloe threatened.
“The receptionist thought he was a patient because he was so malnourished.”
“Then let’s check him in as a patient. He can stay here.” Chloe scoffed.
“Yeah, Yeah. Very funny. I’m calling my mom.” Jeremy dialed her number and put it on speaker.
“Hey Mom.. Dad wanted me to call you.”
“I heard what happened. Oh, honey, why? Why did you do that to yourself? You don’t deserve that. You’re doing all that you can to make it through high school. That doesn’t mean you can starve yourself.”
“Mom. Can you just pick me up? I want to go home.” Jeremy clicked off speaker phone, embarrassed. He didn’t expect his mother to blurt out the fact he was an outcast.
“I’ll come get you. Where are you?”
“At the hospital. I was checking in on one of my friends.”
“I’ll come drop you off at the appointment your father told me about.”
Request- Can I have a Josh imagine where the reader surprises him on tour after he’s been away for a few months” Maybe a little smut, super fluffy tho, I need some Josh in my life. Tyler helps with the surprise.
A/N- Warning you now. This actually sucks but I wanted to post it. Hope you enjoy still.
You’re my brother and you always said you would help me. SO will you?
Of course. What’s up? Are you okay?
Yeah I’m fine. I wanna come finish tour with you guys. I miss Josh.
So you don’t miss your brother? We’re blood Y/N. I’m hurt.
No I miss you too but I miss Josh more.
Okay so what do you want my help with?
I wanna surprise him. I want your ideas. You were always the creative one.
You’re right I am. I’ll book you a flight here tomorrow morning and Jenna will hid you all day. You can surprise him during the show or something.
But I’m putting you and him on a separate bus. What me and Jenna had to listen to last time was horrible.
TYLER YOU SAID YOU WOULD NEVER BRING THAT UP AGAIN!!! I’m sorry.
You better be. I’ll text you your flight details in the morning. Love you.
Thank you so much. Love youuuuuuuuuu.
You went to bed with the biggest smile on your face. You were finally seeing Josh.
The next morning Tyler texted you the details for your flight. You were flying out in 3 hours and were going to stay with them for the remainder of the tour. You had a hard time when Josh wasn’t around. You had been together for the past 2 years and because of your work you weren’t able to go on tour with them. You were super excited to see Josh after being without him for the past 2 months.
Last night you packed everything you would need for the next 3 months of tour. You got to the airport and while waiting for your plane you called Josh.
“Hey Y/N. What’s up?” Josh answered the phone.
“Nothing just woke up and wanted to say good morning and that I miss you.”
“Awe I miss you too. I love you.”
“Only 3 more long months till your home.” you said trying to hid a smile.
“It will go a lot faster than you realize. I promise.”
“I know. It will go by super fast.” you said trying your hardest not to tell him you were on your way to him now.
“I also have a day off next week so I was thinking of sneaking home for the night. I miss my baby girl.” you could hear the smirk in his voice. “I had a dream about you last night. You looked so sexy. God I need you.”
“You can wait. Like you said it will go by faster than you think.”
“Are you at work?” he asked you.
“So do you think you could help me out a little.”
“Josh no I’m busy.”
“Where are you then?”
“Um the grocery store.” you lied.
“Call me when you get home? Please.”
“I’ll think about it. I have to go though. I love you.”
“Love you too baby girl.” he said before hanging up.
Finally you got on the plane and after a long 5 hour flight Jenna was picking you up at the airport.
Tyler and Josh were busy with interviews and soundcheck all day so you and Jenna hid on one of the buses. Josh was texting you all day but you ignored it. You wanted him to be totally surprised later and you were scared you might let it slip if you talked to him.
“They’re going on now so we should head in.” Jenna told you.
You made your way into the arena and when you heard that them playing you couldn’t wipe the smile off your face. You have been so close to Josh all day, but you couldn’t be near him. You and Jenna were on the side stage watching them. You couldn’t help but stare at Josh, all you wanted to do was run up on stage and kiss him. Finally it was towards the end of the concert. Tyler was about to make his speech that he always does at the beginning of trees.
“I just wanted to say how much everyone in this room means to me. We wouldn’t be here without you guys. Also some of the most important people behind the curtains. My wife Jenna supports us through everything, my sister Y/N puts up with Josh somehow, and we wouldn’t be anywhere without those two women that hold the most special places in my heart.” Tyler said.
Josh looked confused while sitting at his drums. Tyler continued with his speech but he kept looking over at you laughing. “Hey Josh, did you hear me? I said your girlfriend is behind the curtains.” Tyler said into the mic confusing Josh more.
You and Jenna were laughing how confused Josh was. You couldn’t blame him, he thought you were at home.
“You should probably go out there.” Jenna said nudging you and that’s all it took.
You started walking towards Josh and when he finally saw you through the bright lights he stood and ran over to you, lifting you up and holding you tight.
“He didn’t believe me.” you heard Tyler laugh into the microphone as you two kissed. “Alright enough Josh. That’s my sister remember, I’ll kick you out of the band.” Tyler said and the fans laughed and awed.
“I’ll be on the bus. Tyler moved us to our own. I’ll meet you there. Hurry.” you told him kissing him once more before getting off stage.
You went to the bus you and Josh would be on. You were glad they had a lot of busses and you two would have this one to yourselves. You got changed into something Josh would like a little better than the leggings and hoodie you were in currently. He always said you look beautiful no matter what you were wear, but you knew his favorite was when you were in your matching lace black bra and panties. You sat on the couch waiting for Josh to come to the bus. It was about 20 minutes later when the door flew open then closed again as Josh ran over to you.
“Why didn’t you tell me you were coming? I missed you so much.” he said kissing you all over.
“I know, it’s quite obvious.” you laughed as you felt his hard rub against your thigh.
“I missed my baby girl.” he said moving his lips to your neck. “Did I mention how hot you look dressed like this.” he says.
“I thought you would like it.” you smirked.
“I think I’ll like it more on the floor.” he said unclasping the bra and letting it fall to the floor.
You reconnected your lips with his and he grabbed your butt signaling you to jump. You did and he carried you back to the bunks. Never breaking the kiss until he put you down and crawled inside with you after removing his clothes, only leaving on his boxers.
He started kissing down your neck then moved farther down. He grabbed your lace panties with his teeth and started to pull them down, then grabbing them and pulling them off the rest of the way.
“No teasing tonight Josh. It’s been to long.” you said as he kissed your inner thighs.
“You’re right.” he kissed his way back up to your lips lining himself up with your entrance in the process.
He slipped inside you and let you adjust before setting a faster pace. He never broke the kiss. You didn’t want him to, it had been a painful few months without him and you were so happy to be with him. There was no way the two of you were going to last long, especially with the hard pace Josh set. It had been so long you could feel your climax nearing only after a few minutes.
“Fuck Josh. I’m gonna cum.” you moaned breaking the kiss.
“Let it go baby.” he said and a few thrust later you let your body fall into the state of euphoria.
Josh followed soon after your orgasm spilling inside of you. He rode out his high before falling to the side of you.
“I love you so much.” Josh said into your neck. “I probably looked like such a dumb ass up there tonight. I was so confused why Tyler was talking about you.” he laughed a bit.
“Your my dumb ass and I love you.” you kissed him and cuddled as close as you possibly could.
He held you tight and you knew he wasn’t planning on letting you go. Not in the next night, year, lifetime. You and Josh were meant to be and you felt at home in his arms.
That week, you didn’t want to talk to anyone. You just wanted to be alone. Jenna called you several times, sending you texts to see if you were okay or if you wanted to hang out or maybe talk about it, but you didn’t feel like responding. Tyler even stopped by the apartment and got you and Josh Chipotle one night, but you decided you weren’t hungry. Josh kept nagging you at first, oblivious to the fact that anything happened the night of the awards, except for the fact that they didn’t win, you almost fainted, and he got absolutely wasted at the afterparty. After several days of nagging, he decided to leave you alone, letting you mope around on the couch or in bed, and decided to give you some space. You never heard from Brendon after the balcony phone call. You could still hear that drunken voice, telling you that he wanted to do things right with Sarah, that although it wasn’t the end, it wasn’t going to continue anytime soon either.
You blamed it on yourself, really. For getting you into this entire mess. Hell, if you hadn’t even picked up that wine bottle that Friday night, none of this would’ve even happened. You would’ve been fine. Those months while Josh was on tour could’ve just been spent hanging out with Jenna, or picking up a new and exciting hobby, or something healthy and productive. Not going to a stranger’s house and fucking him senseless, picking up new addictions, then lying to your steadfast faithful boyfriend. It made you sick to your stomach. Much less, you took things out on both of them. Especially at the party, where you shoved the two of them aside, rejecting Josh and screaming at Brendon. You felt miserable.
“Babe,” Josh knocked on the door before opening it up, frowning at the sight of you laying in bed. “Come on, you can’t stay cooped up in here forever.”
“I want to,” you groaned, shutting your eyes.
“What’s been up with you?” he wondered, pressing the back of his hand to your forehead. “I know you said you didn’t feel too hot the day before we left for Los Angeles, but if you’re still feeling sick, maybe we should take you to a doctor or something.”
“I’m fine,” you insisted.
“You’ve been ignoring me all week,” he narrowed his eyes. “Did something happen at the party? Jenna and Tyler said you were fine.”
“No, it’s nothing,” you insisted.
“Is it about the internet thing?” he asked.
“The what?” you raised an eyebrow, confused.
“The internet thing,” he repeated. “You and Brendon, those pictures, the awards show scandal. It’s what they’re calling it.”
“Wait. What?” you stared at him, twice as puzzled.
“Here,” Josh pulled out his phone and showed you several articles online that had gone viral, the paparazzi photos displayed proudly, the titles they had come up with making you feel sick. “It’s just them coming up with stupid rumors like always, trying to keep the tabloids going. Kind of like the whole ship thing you know.”
“Yeah,” you took a deep breath. “So uh, what are they saying?”
“I haven’t read up much on it,” he confessed. “To be honest, I don’t want to. I don’t think we should get too caught up in that stuff. Plus, I don’t want to worry you any more than you already are.”
By the way Josh was downplaying it all and how he looked uninterested in the topic, you decided that there was no need to be scared. Josh never seemed to be the type to buy into phony celebrity drama. Plus, he had gotten way too drunk that night to clearly remember anything that went on. “Okay, so uh, what did you have in mind?” you tried to steer the topic of the conversation somewhere else.
“How about you come with me to the studio today?” he offered. “Ty and I are working on new music, Jenna should be there, if not you can keep Mark company.”
“I don’t know,” you shrugged.
“Please,” he insisted. “What else are you going to do? Stay at home and sulk?”
“Fine, I’ll go,” you complied.
The car ride there, it was obvious Josh was trying to make an effort to get you to smile. He was talking nonstop, which you didn’t mind, because you weren’t really in the mood to contribute to the conversation, but it wasn’t exactly an everyday occurrence with him. He also attempted to make several jokes, which were all lame, but you forced out a laugh anyways. It wasn’t that you hated him, or was getting revenge or whatever, but you just felt empty. Sort of like standing in the aftermath of everything that had happened, feeling the repercussions and consequences of your bad decisions, letting the guilt consume you and hollow you out once and for all.
When you got to the studio, Tyler and Jenna were sitting there, happy to greet you. While the boys started down the hall and began striking up a conversation, Jenna sat on the couch on her phone, seeming already preoccupied. You sat down, wishing you had just stayed home. Maybe she knew everything and that’s why she didn’t want to talk to you. Or she was still embarrassed to be seen with you after having to talk you down from that argument you had with Brendon. Perhaps she was just tired. Either way, it was obvious she wasn’t really in a mood to talk, so you stuck to your side of the couch, fiddling with your shoelaces, thinking over everything.
“You okay?” she asked, her voice startling you.
“Huh?” you wondered, glancing over at her.
“You haven’t spoken a single word since you got here,” she pointed out. “It’s okay if you didn’t want to talk, I just uh, I’m here you know. If you need company.”
“Oh,” you mumbled. It hadn’t occurred to you that maybe you were the one who was ignoring her. “I’m just tired I guess.”
“I feel you,” she laughed. “Are you okay though? Josh said you haven’t been out of your room in about a week, he thought you’re sick or something.”
“I’m fine,” you reassured. “I just need a little time alone.”
“Is this about the rumors?” she asked.
“No,” you sighed. “I honestly don’t care about that shit, Josh already tried explaining it to me, it’s ridiculous.”
“Is it…” she took a deep breath. “Is it about the party?”
“No,” you quickly replied. “It’s not.”
“You sure?” she insisted. “Come on, you and Brendon were yelling at each other, and I know even though he was drunk, you hadn’t touched a drop of alcohol all night. Something’s up.”
“Did you hear what we were saying?” you tried to keep your voice steady, the nerves knotting in your stomach, mind racing. Of course she knew.
“I could barely hear anything over Pete’s horrendous singing,” she chuckled out. “But you both looked super angry at each other, I don’t know what about.”
“What do you think it was about?” you whispered, glancing down the hall to see if the boys were going to come back anytime soon.
“About the kiss,” she shrugged. “And whatever else you talked about in the dressing room.”
“Yeah…” your voice trailed off, mind so distracted you couldn’t even come up with a proper fib of an explanation, instead freaking out about all the possibilities and instances in which Jenna might blow your cover.
“Something happened,” she stated. “I know that much.”
“It was stupid,” you shook your head. “I’m better off just forgetting about it.”
“Well, if you need someone to talk to,” she offered. “I’m here. Okay?”
“Okay,” you nodded slowly.
“Sometimes it’s better to confide in someone,” she explained. “If there’s something that’s really bugging you, to the point of you isolating yourself, then I think you should maybe get some help. Or just vent. If you got another opinion on the situation or a little advice then it could make a difference. It’s usually what’s best.”
“Yeah,” you stared at the ground.
“I promise I won’t judge,” she insisted. “We’re best friends y/n, you could tell me anything and I’d still love you. I just want to help. Josh says he tries to talk to you but it’s like you’re not even there. Maybe if it involves him then I understand why you wouldn’t want to open up, but I think you should tell somebody. You know?”
“So uh, I can tell you anything?” you inquired, the words coming out awkwardly.
“Absolutely,” she gave a small smile. “I’m here for you.”
“Well what if it’s something really bad?” you bit down on your lip, daring to look at her. “Like something really terrible.”
“I’d understand,” she persisted. “Or at least try to.”
“I don’t think you could,” you mumbled.
“Why? Did you kill somebody?” she wondered, half joking but also half serious.
“No, it’s not like that,” you closed your eyes. “But it’s uh, it’s bad.”
“Just tell me,” she offered. “I promise I can help.”
“Promise?” you looked at her, broken and hopeful. “You’re not going to tell anyone else?”
“I promise,” she repeated. “Just between you and me.”
“Okay…” you took a deep breath. “I mean uh, I don’t really know how to exactly say this.”
“Take your time,” she reminded. “It’s okay.”
“Well,” you paused, trying to think of where to start. “Josh left for tour a couple months ago and I got super lonely and I don’t even know what happened. I got drunk and I went to a bar and I found Brendon and we had sex and then I woke up. I was super wasted and so he took care of me and one thing led to another. We started sleeping together every night and I lived at his house and we’d smoke weed and drink all the time and it was great, it was. We ended up falling in love and then Josh came home and I felt super guilty. We told each other to forget about it and I ended up being back with Josh. The sex was unfulfilling and Josh was too sweet and whenever I tried to explain to him what I wanted, he didn’t understand or he tried to convince me otherwise. Then we went to the awards show and everything got fucked up and Josh introduced me to Brendon and we had to pretend like nothing ever happened. Then we ended up fucking in the dressing room and we came out and saw you. After the awards I learned he had a girlfriend and then we went to the party and ended up screaming at each other. He called me that night and apologized and hasn’t talked to me since and now, now I’m just so lost and confused. And I love Josh, I really do, but it’s so hard. I love Brendon too and I guess I’m just a mess, Jenna. I have no idea what the fuck is going on and I just feel miserable.” You stopped your rambling and looked up at her, freezing as soon as you saw her expression, mouth agape, wide eyes, staring at you as if she had just seen a ghost.
“What the actual fuck,” she breathed.
“I told you it was bad,” you mumbled.
“Yeah but I didn’t know-” she closed her eyes and reopened them, looking at you. “Holy shit.”
“Yeah,” you swallowed uncomfortably.
“I knew something was up, but damn y/n,” she took a deep breath. “That’s something else.” Jenna had never really been one to cuss, but now, seeing her flabbergasted and all shook up, staring at you like this, you knew you really screwed up this time.
“I know,” you sighed. “I’m in deep shit.”
“No kidding,” she stared you. “How’d you even get tangled up in this mess?”
“It’s that fucking bottle of wine,” you laughed bitterly, looking at her and hoping she’d lighten up, but she didn’t. “Look, if I could change things, I would. But I can’t. I know I fucked up, but I don’t know what to do.”
“Are you going to tell Josh?” she wondered.
“No,” you shook your head instantly. “He can’t find out.”
“Y/n, that’s wrong,” she narrowed her eyes. “He deserves to know.”
“You promised you’d keep this between us,” you argued. “It’s only going to hurt him.”
“Like you having sex behind his back isn’t hurting him,” she challenged.
“Jenna,” your eyes softened, offended. “I didn’t mean to-”
“You had a choice,” she insisted. “You had plenty of choices. I can understand maybe once, but for months on end, and then even afterwards?”
“It’s not like that,” you tried to defend yourself, but she shook her head.
“You need to figure this out,” she decided. “Look, I can try to help you, and I promise I won’t tell anyone, but please. For Josh. He doesn’t deserve this.”
“I know,” you reassured, but she looked at you, hesitant.
“You say you know, but you don’t,” she sighed. “Josh has been there for you through thick and thin and it’s your responsibility to do the same. Make a choice y/n.”
“Hey girls!” Tyler greeted with a wide grin when they stepped into the room, making both of you jump, scared at their sudden presence.
“Hi,” Jenna squeaked out, trying to regain her composure. “Uh, how’d it go?”
“We got a song done,” Josh announced proudly. “It’s amazing. You want to hear it?”
“Definitely,” Jenna grinned, all of a sudden plastering on a bubbly attitude and letting her past worries wash away, getting up from the couch and walking towards Tyler. “Come on, y/n.”
“Okay,” you forced out a small smile, trying to think too hard about what Jenna had said earlier, getting up from the couch and taking a deep breath. “I’m right behind you.”
It’s been floating in my head for a while that Toby is A.D. He is pure dodge and has a motive. In season 4/5, I can’t remember the season, but Mr Hastings told Toby not to sue Radley for his mother, however, I think that there is more to this. Considering that we now know that Peter has known about Mary and her radley antics.
Moving on in the 7x10 episode we see that Toby and Yvonne have a crash because of a deer (rolls eyes). But I’ve been thinking that maybe his alibi isn’t as smooth as it seems. A.D captures Jenna and drags her out of the blind school.
1. Who would know about the school that Jenna went to?
2. We don’t know how many people were in the blind school
While Jenna gets placed in the van, A.D takes off the mask and she feels the mask and finds out that it is A.D. Who else’s face has Jenna touched? TOBY’s! She would’ve known A.D was Toby if she had felt his face and therefore giving the game away!
Toby isn’t stupid. He knows that the girls killed Dr Rollins and set up this game. He wants to get revenge on Alison for all the rubbish she’s put him through. All cops in rosewood are corrupt - but in this case especially Toby.
Mary and Marion Cavanaughs names are really close and similar maybe radley mixed them up on occassions. (I think someone should make a theory on this) Mrs Dilaurentis didn’t tell anyone about her sister but what if Marion knew everything- but knew too much. Toby mentioned that she was getting better. Getting better also means that she was soon to be released. But if she was, so would all the things she found out in Radley I.e. Mary, Charles and Bethany. There is no doubt that she knew all of this, and so I think Mrs D or Mary pushed Marion to hold her secrets.
What is Toby’s alibi for the night Charlotte was killed? Dr Palmer told Toby and presumably Marion Cavanaugh to ‘Stay away from the blonde girl’ the blonde girl was Charlotte! Charlotte was the one that was sending Toby clues as to what really happened to Mary because she was in Radley also.
In 4x09 Toby and Spencer visit Dr Palmer and while there Spencer plays the song A/ CeCe sent to Toby. The song is ‘Any Time’. Marlene said the Pasty Cline was a huge clue. ‘Anytime’ is also a song of Pasty Clines. The reason as to why we get so many Patsy Cline songs is because Toby’s mother loved her songs and played and sang them.
To wrap this up I believe that after Toby picked up Jenna from the blind school and dropped her off somewhere, maybe his cabin? Picked up Yvonne and was ready to 'out of rosewood’. It would’ve been the perfect motive. How can you suspect someone that was moving out of town with their fiancé? It also gives him the perfect opportunity to be out of town but spy on the girls and never be a suspect.
Also maybe the Artucus Graphic Novel was when Cece introduced Toby to the game… It’s probably one of the reasons why Spencer and Toby won’t be together at the end of the show. I’m just saying y'all the clues are there or maybe I’m blowing this far left. But we’ll see. Please like and share!
Inspired by @starryeyed-purplehair and their recent post, I decided that I need to have a rant of my own here.
Before I begin, I want to say that I know not everyone in the clique is like this. Personally, every member of the clique I’ve met has been absolutely lovely. But I know this isn’t the same for some people, so I need to stand up for them. That’s what the clique should be about - standing up for each other.
I am nobody - just a 15 year old British girl using music to help with my anxiety. I am nobody special. But maybe, just maybe, what I’m about to say can help some members of the clique to realise their mistakes and try to fix them.
Dear Skeleton Clique.
Stop. Please stop. Just for a moment, stop and imagine how you would feel in this situation. Imagine how it would feel if this was happening to you, or a family member, or a friend, or a partner.
Let’s start with the whole ‘fake fan’ debacle. A fake fan is someone who claims to listen to the band, but in reality doesn’t. Not someone who has only just started listening to the band. I, like many people I am sure, found the band through Heathens, Stressed Out and Ride. That’s not a bad thing. My love for the band progressed from there and I now know far more than just those three songs. We should be happy for the new fans joining us, not pushing them away because ‘we were here first’. It’s ridiculous! This shouldn’t be about being a better fan than someone else, it should be about introducing new fans to more of their older work, and accepting them. Is that so hard to do?
Next, the faked suicides. Oh boy. What in your right mind makes you think that is a good idea? Not only are you being incredibly inconsiderate towards those who have struggled with suicidal thoughts before, but you are also hurting countless people who care about you. Because your family and friends will know you are alive (and probably know nothing of the fake suicide) but your internet friends won’t. Imagine how they’d feel, wondering whether they could’ve talked you out of it. Imagine how you’d feel, if someone you are close to committed suicide, and you didn’t see the signs before hand. Do you get the picture yet? Tyler and Josh can’t know everyone personally - faking your suicide for attention won’t get you theirs. You won’t get a song about you, or a mention in a tweet or Instagram post. Why? Because they have millions of fans across the world. They aren’t going to monitor each and every one of us.
Let’s move on to the wedding Josh attended, where some girls decided to gatecrash it for a photo opportunity. Let’s do some role play here - imagine you were famous, and you were just enjoying your friends wedding, having a great day with your mates, when some fans sneak in and bombard you with requests for a picture. You’d be pretty mad, having your peace and personal time interrupted like that. Or, alternatively, imagine you were getting married - it’s the best day of your life, you’re marrying the person you love most in the world, and your best friend comes up to you and tells you that someone has crashed the wedding in order to meet them. Imagine how badly that would put a downer on the rest of the day - the day that’s meant to be the happiest of your life. I understand, you just wanted to meet Josh Dun and get your picture taken with him. I’m sure many of us would be over the moon to get that chance. But that’s no excuse for crashing a complete strangers wedding.
Now, a quick question - would you like complete strangers to know your home address? No? So why leak Tyler and Jenna’s address? Because now, complete strangers know where they live. Imagine how unsafe they must feel in their own home, knowing that there are so many people out there who could find them and turn up there. Imagine being watched 24/7. That’s how they must feel. Tyler is almost constantly in the limelight, and when he’s home, it must be one of the only chances for proper peace he gets with Jenna, because whenever they’re out in public, they’re bound to get noticed. And now, that’s been ruined because some clique members felt it necessary to tell the world where they live. They’ve lost all sense of privacy. Imagine how awful and stressful that is.
Mentioning Jenna, leave her alone. It’s that simple. Don’t hate on her because Tyler married her. Don’t hate on her because Tyler is ‘yours’ because *newsflash* he’s not. Most of you are probably still in your teens, getting jealous because he fell in love with someone that wasn’t you. If you’ve been doing this and you are any older, that makes it even worse. You’re supposed to be mature. You’re supposed to set a good example. Jenna Joseph is a fantastic person, and I find her and Tyler as a couple unbelievably adorable. I love Jenna Joseph as much as I love Tyler and Josh. I will admit, for a moment I was a little disappointed when I first learned that Tyler was already married. Then I realised how stupid I sounded - I’m thirteen years younger than him, I live on a different continent, and he doesn’t know I exist. There was no reason for me to be disappointed. It’s not like he knew both Jenna and I, then picked her over me. Because he didn’t. And that’s the same for all of you. Grow up. You sound like five year olds, crying in your bedroom because the sixteen year old boy across the street has a girlfriend. It’s pathetic.
On the topic of girlfriends, please stop bringing up Josh and Debby’s old relationship. It can hardly be pleasant, being tagged in things involving your ex, or tweeted about how cute you were together. Speaking from personal experience, I hate whenever my friends bring up my ex in relation to me in conversation (although I will admit, a couple of them don’t know we were ever together) because it ended badly between us. My point is, no matter how adorable you thought they were together, there is no need to constantly tell Josh that. He knows. Hundreds of people probably tweeted/commented ‘aww you guys are so sweet’ or something similar when they were together. But it’s not necessary now they aren’t seeing each other any more. They’ve moved on, and they don’t need constant reminders of the past. I’m sure many of you have an ex girlfriend or boyfriend that you would rather forget about entirely. That may not be the case between Josh and Debby, but it still doesn’t give you the right to remind them of the relationship.
To those of you who have ever done any of these things, or anything similar, I hope that this post has opened your eyes to the hurt you have been causing the band and the fans. And let me tell you now, I am not the only person out there who is astronomically disappointed in you for being terrible people, but I am someone who hopes that you can change your ways, and stop hurting people whether it’s accidentally or on purpose.
I am still proud to say I am part of the Skeleton Clique, but I am proud of the part that is kind, caring and understanding, not the part that does anything like what I have described above. You are not fans. You are bullies. Let that sink in for a moment.
Thank you for reading my rant, I’m sorry it was so long but I had a lot to say. Please think before you do or say things, it can make a world of difference.
“Can you not follow me into the bathroom Jer?” Michael gave his friend’s spirit an annoyed look.
“But I’ve been following you into the bathroom all day.”
“Yeah but that was different, I need a shower. Listen…just stay in here okay?”
“Fine…but can you at least turn on the TV on? I want to see how much Walking Dead I’ve missed. I can’t wait to see Glenn again!” Michael stared at Jeremy letting out a nervous laugh…he’d let Jeremy find out on his own. Flipping the TV through the DVR Michael started on the first episode of season seven before going into the bathroom to take his shower. As soon as the door closed Jeremy stuck his head they as he heard the shower head home soon to make sure Michael wasn’t coming out before going back to his friend’s room.
It looked almost exactly the same as last year which was weird. Michael was always moving his stuff around because he thought it looked too boring if it stayed the same for more than a few days. Michael’s bed was unmade, the Star Wars bedsheets half off the bed as Jeremy focused on sitting down but found that he couldn’t do that and watch the TV at the same time. Standing up Jeremy decided to look around the room curious if anything changed.
Michael’s corkboard of Polaroid photos was still up making Jeremy smile. Michael was such a hipster he only took pictures of them with his Polaroid camera whenever they did something. The photos ranged from pictures of his food to them at the pier. He saw one of just him in front of the Statue of Liberty. Weird…he could remember Michael lending him the camera for the trip to New York but not much past that. It seemed like there were huge gaps in Jeremy’s memories making him unsure of himself.
‘Why can’t I remember that? What if I’m forgetting things? Will I forget Michael? But I don’t want to forget Michael, or my dad, or what Cheez-Its taste like. Cheez-Its! I knew there was something I forgot to try! But I promised Michael I wouldn’t do that again…’
“-eenie-meenie-minnie-moe.” The sound of the bay came down distracting Jeremy. The existential train of thought from contemplative his own death could wait. Dead or not, he was going to find out who Negan killed.
As Michael stepped out of the shower to dry his hair Michael looked around the room filled with steam to make sure Jeremy wasn’t there. The last thing he needed was for his best friend to see him naked. That would be way too awkward…
Heading over to the sink Michael grabbed his glasses, putting them on to see when he saw the nearby razor. Sometimes he used it to shave, other times he used for…other things. He didn’t to it a lot, contrary to what Jeremy probably thought. It’s just sometimes things hurt too much and this helped. And right now might be one of those times. It’s not like he didn’t want Jeremy to there but when he wanted to see Jeremy again it would have preferable been alive.
Above so that he could hold him. Hug him. Apologize to him and never let go tell him that…that he…he could still tell Jeremy that but it didn’t seem right. It was too late for him to say that now. Bringing the blade closer Michael stopped suddenly when he heard Jeremy from the other room.
“-No! Glenn, how could they?!” Michael instantly pulled the razor back.
‘No,’ he thought sing it down as he grabbed his clothes, ‘I want Jeremy to be happy. And if I’m sad then he’ll get worried and care and he doesn’t deserve that…’ As he pulled his pajamas on Michael put on smile before walking out the door. He owed Jeremy his happiness.
“Rich, I’m worried about Michael.” The red streaked teen looked up from the game of Call of Duty he was playing over at his friend who had just taken the popcorn out of the microwave and sat down next to Rich. “You saw him today right? Are we just gonna go along with this whole ghost Jeremy thing? Nobody’s going to question it?”
“Ugh Jake, he saved Brooke remember? There’s no way he could have made that up.”
“I know but this can’t be good for him. Shouldn’t we be there for him?”
“Yeah because he wants to be with the two people who made his best friend kill himself.”
“Jeremy probably wouldn’t be happy to see you either, I mean you were recording the whole thing.” Rich paused as he snapped at Jake, eyes darting back to the TV.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to sound that harsh.”
“Y-you’re right. It was probably a stupid idea anyway.”
“No dude, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have said anything.” Rich paused the game and turned to Jake, wincing when he saw his friend’s hurt face. “I just meant, maybe we should be careful. Michael might get really angry and who knows what Jeremy would do. Don’t need another bathroom incident right?”
“Yeah…what about a party?”
“Party? But Michael hates parties.”
“Just us, you know. The drama squad and Michael hanging out and talking. We haven’t all been on the same room since last year. Excluding the bathroom thing.”
“What makes you think Chloe will come? I don’t think Michael would want to be around her…or anybody else for that matter.”
“She’ll come. We can get Brooke to convince her, right?”
“I don’t know…”
“Rich, please. I just want to try and do something nice for Jeremy. It might be the last chance I get.” Rich froze at those words. Something nice for Jeremy. Should he tell Jake? No then Michael would find out and everything would go wrong- “Rich?”
“Oh, uh…yeah. Let’s do this. For Jeremy and Michael.”
Jenna climbed into bed checking over her Facebook page on her phone quickly before turning it off. She updated sometimes, pictures of her food and her cats but her gossip was completely deleted off the site. It took her a while to delete all her old posts about what was going on in school but after the “prank” last year she couldn’t bring herself to look at any of those posts without thinking about Jeremy.
She still knew everything about everybody, that’s why she still had a Facebook but now all gossip left a bitter taste in her mouth. Being popular was not worth having to hurt people like that. Turning her head to the side her phone vibrated. Looking over it she saw it was a text from Christine.
Requested imagine where you’re best friends with Tyler and have a massive crush on Josh. Tyler and Jenna tease you guys about liking each other, and they eventually confess their love to each other.
Had a lot of fun writing this one, so enjoy! Next one on here will be a smut, ha!
It was when Josh was dating Debby that your true feelings for him came out. Jenna picked up on it the first time the five of you hung out together. It made you feel incredibly uncomfortable. Like you were third wheeling on their double dates. Eventually, you’d started declining their invites.
