A CONVERSATION WITH JENCEY.
The fine folks at the Dallas Morning News spoke with Jencey about Smile Smile’s new “sonic direction” and the anticipation behind their new album, ‘Marry A Stranger’.

"It’s been a bumpy ride for Jencey Hirunrusme and Ryan Hamilton, the two principals from Dallas’ indie folk-pop outfit Smile Smile. Hirunrusme and Hamilton were engaged, then broke up, but continued to make music together even through the turmoil of ending a serious relationship. They’ve endured the emotional upheavals, creating three albums worth of songs that chronicle their personal journey – 2008′s Blue Roses, 2010′s Truth on Tape and 2012′s Salim Nourallah-produced Marry a Stranger, which is set for release Aug. 14 on Dallas’ Kirtland Records."
