“We as women do a lot of incredible things in this world other than just procreate, and not that that is not. But it’s like, we just get boxed in, they love the narrative, they love the story, they love the ‘she is jealous’ and 'this person’s depressed’ and 'oh my gosh never gonna have a child’ whatever the horrible little headline is, we just gotta break out of that.” (x)

"Right there, Killian"

“Right there, Killian,” Emma points at the spot in the closet, pushing up on her tiptoes.

“Careful, love,” he says lightly, his hand settling on her hip to ease her back down. He kisses her temple before he moves toward the wardrobe to grab the box. He carries it toward their bed and Emma pads toward it, her hands settling against her backside. “What is it you wanted this for?”

She smiles softly as she opens it up, revealing her baby blanket. She lifts it affectionately toward her face, nuzzling it to her nose and breathing it in deep. “I wanted to see if Granny could make one of these for the baby.”

Killian awards her with a loving smile that he presses into her cheek.
