Jello Pie

I’m starting with my absolute favorite dessert, jello pie! My grandmother makes this special treat for Easter unless we request it for a birthday.

1 pkg.(3 oz.) any flavor jello (she uses strawberry)

2/3 cup boiling water

2 cups ice cubes

8 oz. cool whip

Completely dissolve jello in boiling water, stirring about 3 minutes.

Add; 2 cups ice cubes and stir constantly until thickened, about 2 or 3 minutes. Remove any unmelted ice.

Add: 8 oz. Cool Whip

Using wire whisk, blend in cool whip; then whisk until smooth. 

Pour into graham cracker crust and Chill for 3-4 hours or until firm.

~~~You can mix this up by using a different type of Jello if you don’t like strawberry, or by adding real strawberries inside or on top and cool whip on top as well to make it pretty!~~~
