E!NEWS/ Holy Crap, Bones Just Revealed Angela’s Real Name and It’s Better Than We Ever Could’ve Dreamed Of

And Bones’ biggest mystery has finally been solved!

Booth (David Boreanaz), Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and the Jeffersonian team have solved a lot of cases over the years, but one burning question that’s never been answered in 10 seasons? Angela’s (Michaela Conlin) real name!

We have an adorable sneak peek from Thursday’s all-new episode, “The Life in the Light,” which finally, finally, FINALLY reveals Angela’s real name and it’s better than we ever could’ve imagined.

“Oh my god, your real name,” Hodgins (TJ Thyne) exclaims after finding his wife’s passport and learning her birth name.

So what is it? You’ll have to press play on the exclusive video above to find out!

One hint about her name? “It’s like something you name a pet…that you hate,” Angela says of the name, which was given to her by her father because “it meant something important to him” and he asked her to wait to change it. Fans of the Fox hit know she chose the name Angela Montenegro when it came to her in a dream and she legally changed it on her 18th birthday.

Still, the major reveal leads to a seriously sweet moment between the couple. But it won’t be all name-reveals and cute kisses for Hodgins and Angela as the duo is set to make a major decision in the episode that will impact their future with the Jeffersonian team. Meanwhile, Booth is working hard to beat his gambling addiction and earn back Brennan’s trust.

And in case you missed the news, Fox has picked up Bones for its 11th season. Huzzah!

Bones airs Thursday at 8 p.m. on Fox.

Synopsis for 10x22, “The Next in the Last”

When the Jeffersonian team discovers remains of a victim and elements of the crime scene point to a possible protege of serial killer Christopher Pelant, they must revisit their prior work on Pelant while tracing new clues that will hopefully lead them to the copycat killer. Meanwhile, Angela is skeptical about her and Hodgins’ decision to move to Paris, and Brennan and Booth contemplate options outside of the Jeffersonian and FBI.
