What would Caspian do if the sadistic s/o would try to leave say for another one or just because they got bored/feed up with him???
An important, important question that I’ve been looking forward to answering.
Anyone could see the signs. Lingering touches, hushed conversations in the back of dark rooms, long phone calls that could last for hours… If Caspian wanted to notice, he would have. He wasn’t concerned when you started going out more often, or got a little too friendly with one of your classmates. He was the only one who really knew you, after all. No one else would be able to satisfy you, meaning no one would be able to take his place.
Although, when you asked him to meet you, this problem seemed to get a little more serious. You were already there, slouched against the side of an uncomfortable-looking couch, looking as exhausted and as beautiful as ever. He didn’t hesitate to let himself into your room, quickly sitting next to you and throwing an arm over your shoulder. When you didn’t immediately push him away, his concern only grew.
You didn’t look at him, keeping your eyes focused on the ground. “Look, I can’t keep doing this. Both of us have a problem. You let me go too far, it’s not healthy.” You wanted this to be quick, painless, and neat. Like a cut to the spinal cord. There wasn’t a way to sugarcoat things.
Even when you kept things simple, Caspian couldn’t seem to process it. “What?” He said, pulling away from you. His voice broke, but you kept a straight face. “You can’t just… stop. We’re in love!” He took your hands in his, tightening his grip when you tried to move back. Your former ‘boyfriend’ wrapped your hands around his neck, aligning your fingers with his bruises. “You need me.”
That was where you drew the line. You jerk away from him, standing up and taking a defensive stance. “I don’t need anyone. You can be replaced, and you will be replaced. By someone who actually knows when to stop me.”
Somehow, finding out that you were going to be with someone else was so much worse than you leaving him. For a moment, he’s frozen in place. No thoughts could form, save for all the ways he would torture whatever poor soul stole your attention. When he does respond, it’s only with a short burst of laughter. You only sigh, shaking your head. “Leave, Caspian. We’re done.”
He obeys, as he always has. This was a test, what else could it be? You wanted him to prove himself. You wanted him to show how dedicated he was to you. It was a challenge he’s faced before, and it was one he would gladly face again. You two would be together again in a few weeks, at most. That didn’t stop him from stalling in your doorway, a hand lingering on the frame as he looked back at you. “I love you too, darling.”
Your methods were always fun. He almost felt bad for that ‘friend’ of yours. Almost.

Shakespeare was right about jealousy being an green-eyed monster and our protagonists Anna Grey and Drake Walker test the theory in what feels like the beginning of a eventful night. Will they finally understand what needs to be done? Or will they keep the denial for a while longer?
As always, the story has way more than two sides and this time we see a little bit of someone else’s side because help comes from the most unexpected places.

Shakespeare was right
“You could break my heart in two
But when it heals, it beats for you
I know it’s forward, but it’s true”
Olivia’s smile fades slowly as the waltz comes to and end and Liam’s ocean eyes immediately drift to Anna Grey, sitting next to Hana with a fake smirk plastered on her face. The redhead enjoyed the brief time in which Liam wasn’t completely stunned by Anna, now she was going to drown in the finest wine they can offer.
“Grey, can we talk?”
Drake’s voice is low enough so that only Anna and Hana, who is still focused on helping her friends, can listen. His dark eyes look at her supplicating but her grey irises are colder than before and his rejection is still fresh in her mind.
“No, I don’t think we can. I’m busy.”
Hana shifts uncomfortably in her seat, feeling like she is in the middle of an discussion she shouldn’t be anywhere near. As Anna finishes speaking, she drinks another sip of champagne and gets back to her busy schedule of staring at the food.
“You’re literally just staring at the food.”
“Well, then maybe I don’t wanna talk to you.”
“Drake,” Hana puts a hand on his arm in a caring way “I don’t think now is a good idea, you should came back to talk to Anna later.”
“Or maybe he shouldn’t.”
Anna’s voice is filled with sarcasm yet her gaze can’t hold his for much longer so she concentrates on Liam, who is walking towards them along with a very pleased Maxwell.
Drake follows her gaze to his best friend and realizes he doesn’t have much time, so he gently touches her shoulders and murmurs:
Be happy for people. Especially the ones you love. No one is taking what is yours, whatever they have is theirs. The things that are meant for you, find you. Work to find them by all means. But jealousy will never bring you something that isn’t meant for you, nothing will x
