Some belated graphic design work I should have posted back in January.
These posters were designed for a school assignment. The concept was to design posters and a cd or record cover for a band or music artist. I chose to design a record set for Mumford and Son’s Platinum singles.
So as mentioned in my previous post, I recently traveled with my family to the Bay area and got to have a tour of PIXAR.
Our host was extremely gracious and talked to me about developing my portfolio and talked about his own path to becoming an art director at PIXAR.
Frankly it was one of the best days of my life!!!
While I was in the bay area, I went plein eire painting with my mother and sister.
And I finally got around to posting my first story for the Nefelibata Project! :D If you haven’t heard of it, it’s a new story blog I have created with my good friend Emily Cannon. Each week one of us creates a story, develops art and characters, and once the art is submitted we pitch a new theme to the other so that they can make the next story.
We are only in our first couple of weeks, so we only have 2 stories up, but come this weekend you’ll get to see Emily’s newest story based off of the theme I gave her: “Jaeger v.s. Kaiju.”
Here is a link for the blog and a couple of pictures from our recent stories. Go check it out! :)
