Now that they confirmed we’re having a third season of Young Justice, i’d like to point out a few things they need to do in the new season:

• Resurrection of Jason Todd
• Bring Wally West back
• Make Bluepulse canon
• Give Tim Drake more screentime
• Tell us how Tula died
• Make Jaime Reyes and Bart Allen boyfriends
• Make Miguel Barragan, Rachel Roth and Rose Wilson part of the team
• Introduce Cassandra Cain, Duke Thomas, Stephanie Brown and Damian Wayne
• Bring Wallace West back
• Make Bart Allen, Cassie Sandsmark and Tim Drake best friends
• Did i mention make Bluepulse canon?
• How about bringing Wallace Rudolph West back to life

Elephant in the Room

Combination of Two Prompts: How would Batmom react to Teen Titans Robin and him not being in contact with them for so long? What would happen if she showed up at the tower? AND Dick calls Bruce and Batmom dad and mom for the first time after being adopted.

Words: 1745

AN: This was a pretty long one, but filled with fluffy feels, and I love it!!!

Your son is one of the best of his generation, and in your mother’s eye, the best. You understand why he left, you support his choice of independence, but an entire year without a call is simply too much. He stayed in contact for the first two, a random call here, and email, there, but then suddenly there was nothing.

The only thing that let you know he was still alive were the news reports. Bruce, of course, follows every morsel of news. Though he’d never say it out loud, he knows that things need to be fixed.  You’d be willing to bet the Wayne family fortune that Dick knows the exact same thing.

You can’t help but smile, after all, that’s what you’re here for; to beat sense into those stubborn heads. The security system is the exact same as the Batcave’s, and you’re surprised to find that your codes work.

You let yourself in, and one quick hack into the system tells you that no one is there. So you wander, you take in the sights, and look around at the home your son has built for himself. You smile when you find his room. He’s changed his uniform a bit. There are no photos in obvious places or any real identifying marks.

You leave the room for the common room and take a seat on the couch. You pull the photo album out and just wait. When the sound of footsteps and laughter sounds, you slip on the mask that’s needed; it actually goes rather nicely with your outfit.

More than just his team strolls through the doors, it seems like every super powered teen in existence is there and Dick just stops at the sight of you. You stand up, and say, “I didn’t realize you’d be in the middle of a party.”

He stiffens a bit and asks, “What are you doing here?” His voice is a bit hesitant.

You grab your bag, and approach him. The closer you get the more you realize just how much he’s grown. You smile and say, “We need to talk.” He glances back at his friends and back to you, you just say, “I’ll wait in your room, I already know the way.”

He watches you slide through the doors and Starfire asks, “Robin, who is that woman?”

His voice is tight with emotion when he says “She’s my mother.”

There’s a collective statement of “You have a mother?”

Dick just glances at Roy and Wally, the only two not surprised and says, “Of course I have a mother.” Before he walks out of the room.

He finds you sitting on the bed, sans mask. Before he can say a word you say, “No masks, you know the rules.”

He doesn’t fight you on it, just removes his mask. You smile and open your arms. Sure enough he slides right into them. His head goes to your lap, and your fingers run through his hair. When the sobs come you know something happened, that there was a reason he hadn’t called.

You let him cry, because sometimes everyone needs to, and you’d be willing to bet that your baby is long overdue. When he’s done, he slides on to the bed and tells you everything. He tells you about being held against his will by Slade, being forced to do horrible things, and then he tells you about the Brotherhood of Evil, and finally about Trigon.

You listen as he pours out every pent up emotion, and when he’s done you don’t say anything about it. Instead you start on your own story, “Do you remember when you first came to live at the manor?”

          His brow furrows, “Of course.”

You smile and remove a stuffed elephant from your bag, his eyes go wide at the sight of it. “You were so little and scared, and man oh man, did you remind me of Bruce. You two were the same age you know, when you lost your parents. You didn’t know what to make of us, and we weren’t really sure what to make of you to be honest. At that point we’d only been responsible for ourselves.”

Dick smirks, “And all of Gotham.”

You smile, as your hand strokes over the elephants worn head, “We’d never planned on kids, but when we saw you after that show, it hit us, you were ours. And then you started to grow, and you took on the family business with your dad, and I was just amazed, at how lucky we were to be blessed with a kid like you.”

“You always made sure to keep my birth parents in the picture though. You’d talk about them with me, you’d take me to visit their graves whenever I wanted to. You even had that portrait made.”

You grin, “That was all your dad, he didn’t want you to feel like we were replacing them.”

“You didn’t I just got lucky  and got to have two sets of parents.”

You smile, and there’s a moment of silence, “He misses you, you know.” Dick doesn’t say anything. “He bookmarks every newspaper article on you saving the day. Even has a subscription to the local paper. He’s very proud.”

“He wouldn’t be proud if he knew what happened.” You smile a bit and he just groans, “How in the world does he know?”

You smile, “He saw the footage from the top of the Wayne tower, you were stealing from.”

          “He didn’t come.”

“He was on his way, already tracked Slade’s headquarters down and everything, when it suddenly blew up, he knew that your team had made things right. The Brotherhood of Evil was a learning experience too, and you saved the world from Trigon. When it comes down to it, you’ve done a lot of good Dick. And you’ve made a lot of friends too.”

He smiles, “It’s the bi-yearly get together. Pizza party.”

You groan, “Please tell me you at least eat some healthy things.”

He smirks, “I make Alfred proud every once in awhile.”

You pass him the elephant and he smiles and you say, “I never thought you’d leave her behind.”

          He shrugs, “I outgrew her.”

You just smile, “When you first came to live with us you refused to let her go. Took her everywhere, for that first year.”

Dick just smiles, “You guys homeschooled me for that first year. I didn’t have to let her go.”

You laugh, “Still, you took her to all the Wayne foundation events, to restaurants, when we’d visit your dad at work. You even insisted that she be buckled in. You also insisted on taking her to that theme park. I was against it, I just knew she’d get put down somewhere, but Bruce insisted that everything would be fine.”

“I’d been with you guys for about eight months at that point, I was at the tail end of my Robin training.”

You nod, “Sure enough you left her there. You were in tears, you kept saying I have to have her, we have to get her back, she’s family. And then at some point you look up at me and Bruce and you said, ‘Please Mommy, please Daddy, we have to go search for her.’ That was the first time you called us Mom and Dad. It wouldn’t become a regular thing until a few months later, but in that moment your dad and I knew we’d move heaven and earth to make you happy.”

Dick just smiles, “That was the first time he took me out as Robin. He called it the case of the missing elephant. He helped me track her down. Someone had thrown her in the trash on top of some nachos.”

You smile, “I had to hand wash her, and then throw her in the washing machine three times to get all that cheese off. It’s amazing she doesn’t have any stains.”

There’s a moment of silence before he says, “I’m sorry I didn’t stay in contact.”

You pull him in for a hug, “It’s okay, baby boy. You can make it up by coming to dinner this Friday.”

          “Mom, I don’t know if I’m …”

You cut him off, “He misses you Dick. You’re his son, and whatever that stupid argument was about three years ago, it’s forgotten.”

“He really wants to see me?”

You smile, “He talks about you all the time, how proud he is of what you’ve accomplished.”

He smiles and says, “I’ll be there.”

“Good, you can meet your new brother.”

His eyes go wide, “You had a, but the papers didn’t say anything about …”

You smirk, “His name is Jason, Bruce found him trying to take the wheels off the Batmobile. He’s in training right now.”

Dick smiles, “Good, Batman needs a Robin, and I’ve been thinking it might be time to change things up. New identity for a new chapter and all that.”

You lean down and kiss the top of his head, “As long as Dick Grayson remains that sweet, caring, and noble boy that I’ve always known, I think that sounds wonderful.”

He kisses your cheek, “I’ll see you Friday, Mom.”

You smile and leave his room, slipping on the mask again before you go. Waiting outside the door are all the teen heroes. You smile and say, “Speedy, Kid Flash, you have his back right?”

Wally just grins and says, “Always Batmom, you know that.”

You turn to the rest of his immediate team, “Thank you for taking such good care of my son. It’s good to see he’s made excellent friends.” They’re too stunned to say anything else. You leave the tower without another word. You reach home several hours later, to find Bruce waiting up for you despite the hour.

          “Jason asleep?” you ask.

He just smiles and says, “Yep, he and Alfred baked cookies all day, and you know what a task master Alfred is when it comes to his kitchen.” He pauses before asking, “How’s our oldest son?”

          “Coming to dinner on Friday.”

          “He’s okay though?”

You nod, “The picture of health, seems like he made some pretty good friends, too.”

Bruce just smiles and says, “Thank God.”

You grab his hand, “Come on Caped Crusader, time for bed.”

He come with you, wrapping an arm around your shoulders and says, “Bed sounds absolutely divine.”

Big Brother

Prompt: Combines 3 of them: Dick Grayson’s biological little sister, oneshot where reader is part of the batfam and when she get’s her first bf the boys get really protective and edgy, Batfam sister with a crush on Wally West

Words: 674

You can feel their eyes on you as you slip on your flats. “I don’t get why you guys are so edgy about this.”

Jason just scowls, “Men are evil creatures who only want one thing.”

You smirk, “Last time I checked, all of you were men.”

“Exactly, how do you think we know?” Dick adds.

“Look at Bruce!” Tim points out

You want to laugh, but you don’t. You know it would just hurt their egos, and they’re already stressed out enough. You turn to Dick, “Wally is your best friend.”

Dick shakes his head, “Not anymore. He broke the bro-code. He’s dating my baby sister.”

You roll your eyes. “You’re older by two minutes Dick, that doesn’t mean you get to dictate who I date. And we’ve known Wally since we were eight.”

The sound of the zeta tube alerts you to the fact that Wally has arrived. He come through with a bouquet of daffodils, and there’s the slightest hint of a blush on his cheeks. You smile as you walk toward him. Two steps in you realize your brothers are walking with you. You stop, and look at them, ”I’m eighteen, and perfectly capable of walking by myself. In fact I’ve been doing it since before I was a year old.”

They stop, as you move forward. You smile as you take the flowers, “They’re beautiful, thank you.”

He smiles and rubs the back of his head, “I know they’re your favorite.”

“I’m going to run up the stairs and put these in water, do you want to come with me?”

He looks around you at your brothers and shakes his head, “Nah, I’ll be all right down here.” Then he leans in and whispers, “I have to get it over at some point.”

You just smile and move up the stairs. A moment later Dick appears beside you, “If he hurts you I’m going to have to kill him you realize.”

“Has anyone ever told you that you’re just a tiny bit overprotective.”

He smiles, “You, every day since Bruce adopted us.”

“You’re my only living blood. We were born moments apart, and we’ve never been apart for longer than a few weeks. We learned to fly together, we learned to fight together, we found our family together.”

You nod, “I know, that family is currently downstairs interrogating my new boyfriend.”

“I don’t want to see you hurt.”

“Wally would never intentionally hurt me. We both know that. Maybe it doesn’t work out, and maybe it does. Either way we both feel something and we’d like a chance to explore it.”

Dick stares at you for a second, “No PDA in front of me, and I still claim him for our guys night.”

You hug your big brother, “Fair enough. You okay now?”

“Yeah,” he nods, “Go save your boyfriend, and have fun, just not too much fun.”

You just smile. You walk in on your three younger brothers surrounding your boyfriend. You break through their circle, grab Wally’s hand and the two of you go through the Zeta tube. You come out on the other side smiling, and Wally’s arm wraps around your waist.

“Well that was fun,” he states, as the two of you go walking down the sidewalk

You look up at him, “I don’t see any bruises or anything, so I’m assuming they were nice.”

Wally just shrugs, “Lord only knows what they’d do if they found out we’d been dating for over a year.”

You agree, “It was so much easier before Bruce found out. Know it all detective.”

Wally pulls you in a bit tighter, and kisses your cheek, “At least he didn’t rat us out. Now, let’s go get dinner!”

You laugh, “Yes, you haven’t eaten in over an hour, you must be famished.”

Wally pulls you in for a kiss “That’s why I love you. You understand me.”

“You love me?”

He smiles, and leans his forehead against you, “Yes, I love you.”

You smile, “Good, because I love you too.”

Finally caught up on Young Justice...and for sure here are the top five things I want:

Prompts: A combination of this reader is the batfams sister and she convinces them to go to a horse farm and the reader and Bruce are good at riding they horses and then dick and Jason is all clumsy and stuff? AND THIS Sequel to Big Brother where the reader comes home with a hickey

AN: This serves as a sequel to the one shot big brother click HERE for that!

Words: 496

“I’m sorry, but how is this supposed to be fun?”

You grin at your brother and Dick grins back. The two of you had been dealing with horses and other big animals since birth. The circus had provided plenty of instruction on how to ride elephants and horses alike.

Tim and Jason however, had not had that training. While Jason had at least been able to get on his horse, Tim had opted for standing near the fence. Damian was already riding around the corral, while Bruce supervised from his own horse.

Jason calls your attention back, “Grin all you want girly, but I am going to master this horse.”

It takes everything you have to not burst out laughing as Jason tries to get the horse to simply move. “Should we help him?” Dick finally asks.

You shake your head, “They need to work this out themselves.”

Dick just laughs, as the two of you start heading towards the trail, leaving the rest of the family behind. You’ve been on the trail for several minutes when Dick asks, “So what’s up with scarf?”

It takes everything you have to not blush, “What do you mean?”

“It’s spring, and it’s warm out. Why are you wearing a scarf?”

You shrug, “No particular reason.”

Dick’s eyes narrow and he reaches for your scarf. You lean further away before encouraging your horse to speed up. Dick matches that speed, and before you know it the two of you are in a full on sprint. You stop once you hit the river bank. A little out of breath the two of you face each other and you ask, “Truce?”

Dick shakes his head, “Never.” And then, faster than you can react, he pulls the scarf down. “WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?”

You wince at the tone, “You’re going to spook the horses.”

He immediately lowers his voice, “What is that mark on your neck?”

You sigh as you fix your scarf, “It’s a hickey Richard.”

His eyes go wide, “A hickey?”

You roll your eyes, “A mark that typically comes from an intense make-out session.”

“I know what it is, why do you have one?”

You stare at your twin, “Why do you think?”

He straightens, “I’m going to kill Wally.”

“No, you’re not.”

He glares at you, “And why not?”

You smirk, “Because he has to wear a turtleneck today.”

Dick groans, “Oh come on, I didn’t need to know that.”

You begin directing your horse back the way you came, “Then you shouldn’t have pulled my scarf down.”

“Well, maybe but …”

“No buts Richard, I am an of age woman, you do not control me, or who I have sex with.”

You curse at that. He didn’t need to know about that. Urging your horse a little faster you pray that you can get to Wally before Dick, or at least enlist Barbara’s help, because you rather like Wally in one piece!

The late members of the Team (Jason Wally and Tula) started a ghost Team to fight dead villains and keep them from returning to life. Ra’s Al Ghul is a consistent target of theirs. When Jason returned to life, Wally and Tula tried to beg him to return to the Team and hug everyone for them. Jason denied them for a long time but eventually he showed up to one of their outings, delivered the hugs and skipped out before he was recognized. The ghosts deemed it “good enough.”

It’s been confirmed season three of Young Justice IS HAPPENING! We’ll finally (hopefully) know what happened to Kid Flash (Wally West) if Jason Todd (Red Hood) makes an appearance, and the whereabouts of Dick Grayson (Nightwing) after he left the team. Personally Nightwing is one of my favorite DC heroes, and Jesse McCartney voiced him beautifully. We’ve come this far as a fandom to get our season three, now let’s make sure we get Jesse back as Nightwing!

Robin’s Nest: Part 8

Prompt: Where the robin’s were Bruce’s and Batmom’s biological kids

Words: 1396

AN: This was edited by my wonderful team of beta’s who continue to plow through my stories.

Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6, Part 7

The Earth is in the process of being invaded when your doorbell rings. You’re tempted to let it keep ringing, and then you remember that no one should be able to get past Bruce’s security. So you usher your children down into the cave with Jason, and you and Alfred answer the door. What’s waiting for you makes your jaw drop.

Bruce and Dick are standing there with the entire Justice League standing behind them. You know it’s inappropriate, but you honestly can’t help it when you ask, “Rough day at work, sweet heart?”

You can tell he’s trying to hold it back, but when the smile breaks through, you note the surprise on the rest of the leaguers faces. Going on your tiptoes you give him a quick kiss, before pulling Dick in for a hug and sending him inside with instructions to get his siblings.

You hug Wally as he passes and runs in with Dick, and then begin the process of ushering the rest of the leaguers into your home. They each take a moment to stare at you as they walk by, and once everyone is in, you bolt the door.

The sound of pounding feet greets your ears; as the kids all tackle Bruce. He greets each of them with hugs and kisses, and you’re not entirely sure how much more the leaguers can take. It’s in that moment that you realize that they’ve only ever known Batman, they don’t know Bruce.

As Bruce collects the league’s members and steers them towards the batcave. You know that it’s going to be a tight fit. You quickly feed the kids, Dick, Jason and Wally included, and send them off to bed. There’s a lot of protests, but all you have to do is pull out the mom voice and they’re running.

You do your best to keep things as normal as possible. You go through the usual night routine with each child. You start with Damian and Helena. You read them two chapters of Magic Tree House. Of course they’re still wide awake, Helena jumps up on her bed and pretends she’s in the tree house, and that she’s going back in time. Damian joins her a moment later and then a pillow fight breaks out. You can’t help but join in, and of course they double team you, using that language of theirs as they whack at your legs. They’re almost five, and soon they’ll be too big for you to scoop them up. But for the moment they’re still small enough. So, that’s what you do, scooping each of them up in one arm and peppering their faces with kisses, before dropping each of them into a bed, and tucking them in.

Next you go to Tim. He reads two chapters of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban to you before you declare it’s time for bed. He begs to read one more chapter, and if the world hadn’t been in peril, and your husband hadn’t been waiting for you, you would have given in. When that doesn’t work he asks you about a thousand questions about magic, and Harry’s parents, and, “Mom, how could Sirius do that? He was their friend!” You just smile, and say: “That’s the magic of books, they suck you in and leave you wanting more.” He seems to accept that. You sing him his favorite lullaby, and then you tuck him in. You kiss his forehead as he drifts off.

Cass is up next. Instead of a book, you read the observations she’s jotted down for the day. You read everything out loud, making sure your voice is nice and clear. Then you tell her about your day, or describe something she’s asked about. Today she asks you to describe a baby, and so you do. You run your fingers through her hair as you do this. She leans into the touch and kind of just curls into your side. She’s been with you for about three months now, and she seems to have finally settled in. She still has the occasional nightmare, but now she comes straight to your room, and crawls into bed with you and Bruce.

Jason, Dick, and Wally are last. The three boys have crowded into Dick’s room, and they’re lying on a pallet of blankets on the floor instead of the huge bed. They hush up as soon as you enter the room, and you know they’re trying to find out what’s going on in the cave. You hold up, “The Hobbit,” and ask, “You guys too old to hear a mythical tale?”

You don’t give them a chance to say no, you sit on the bed and read them four chapters, until they’re fast asleep. When you’re sure they’re out, you spread a large blanket out over top of them. You kiss each of their heads, even Wally’s because he’s basically your godson at this point. Flipping the light off you head back downstairs and wait.

It’s nearly three in the morning when people begin filing out of the cave. One by one they stream out from behind the clock. Once again, you warrant a curious glance as each of them go by. Alfred meets them, and leads them towards their rooms. The women’s eyes hover on you a bit longer than the male members. You have an idea of what they’re thinking, but decide to let it go for now.

Barry is the last one out and he smiles as he greets you by name, surprising the leaguers that are still lingering. You give him a hug, and assure him that the fridge is fully stocked, and that Wally is fast asleep. The scarlet speedster had become a regular in your house lately, usually bringing Wally home from League meetings and staying for dinner. Then there were the cookouts he and Iris had attended.

He uses the hug to whisper in your ear “He’s still down there. I think you’re the only one who can pull him away Y/N.” You smile and make your way down.

Sure enough he’s there, typing away on the computer. He’s surrounded by the founders. Bruce had been invited in as a founder years ago, and had refused. It had been around the time that the kids just seemed to keep coming. The invitation had been an open one, and after a bit of time with the League he had been given a “board” position so to speak.

“Time for bed, Bruce.”

His voice is gruff in his response, and you can tell that he’s in full Batman mode. “I’m busy.”

“I know, but you won’t do the world any good if you collapse from exhaustion. And since I haven’t seen you in two days I’m assuming you haven’t slept in that time.”

“Wow Bruce, she sure does have you pegged.”

You stare at the Man of Steel. The world’s greatest hero, and a decent reporter. “I should truly hope so Mr. Kent. I’ve known him since we were ten. I’ve been married to him since I was nineteen. I’d even dare to say that out of everyone in this world, I know him best. So, I know that if he doesn’t get some sleep he won’t be at his best for whatever plan you’ve concocted, and if he leaves me a widow, I don’t care how indestructible you’re supposed to be; I will take you out, boy scout.”

You’re sure that the image of you threatening Superman is a funny one, this thought is proved when Bruce bursts out laughing. It startles everyone there, but it makes you smile. Batman is gone, and your husband is back. He pushes away from the computer and makes his way over to you. He pulls you in close, and presses his forehead against you.

You take the moment to breathe in his scent, and feel the way his muscles twitch as you wrap your arms around him. Despite its simplicity, it’s an intimate moment. When you pull away you don’t even glance at the other leaguers, and simply pull him off to bed.

You fall into bed together and curl into one another, his larger body wrapping around your smaller one. You take that moment to be thankful. You cherish that moment because your family is safe.

When Jason was revived he gained the ability to see any deceased person he wanted. When Dick found out about this he begged Jason to tell Wally that was the best friend anyone could ask for Jason never told Dick whether or not he said it.

1 year later Wally returned from the speed force and hugged Dick, whispering in his ear “Jason told me.”
