Want to Date an Egyptian God?

A forthcoming Japanese mobile dating game will allow that.  The game entitled Egykoi! Egypt Kami to Koishi yo~ (Egy-love! Egyptian Gods and Love) lets the the players take control of a young heroine whose love is competed for by Horus, Anubis, and a lesser known Egyptian god named Medjed who is popular in Japanese pop culture and memes.

[English] Soraru and Mafumafu’s 18 collab quests and characters

(Promo art by Saine)

As some of you may know, Soraru and Mafumafu just finished up a collaboration with a Japanese mobile game called “18.” For their collaboration, the game opened up 3 levels that inserted Soramafu into the game’s story, allowed you to hear a clip of a song they wrote for the game, and also introduced a bunch of different Soramafu characters that can be used in any other level in the game. The collab is over now, but I’m posting translations of all the relevant Soramafu content because 1. It’s really cute and 2. I’d like to archive it somewhere, even for people who didn’t play.

Special thanks to the many people who provided me screenshots of their games so that I could translate all this! :)

So why does DRAE - Ultra Despair Girls have that Groping Mini-Game?

In case you didn’t know: The weird/icky “stop Kotoko’s machine from groping Komaru” mini-game in Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls is a parody/response to games such as Criminal Girls, Monster Monpiece, and Doki Doki Majo Shinpan for the Vita and/or Nintendo DS.

This probably isn’t news to a lot of you hardcore fans. But since those games are relatively obscure outside of Japan, I figured it’s worth explaining to those who don’t know the background.

I dont think I could ever go back to playing American mobile games bc they have so many ads and you can’t progress without buying upgrades with real money.

Japanese mobile games on the other hand make so much money on weebs tryna gatcha their waifus that they can remove ads, make the game fair, and have high production values generally, and also they are filled with cute girls. There is no downside.

So guess what you find out when you log into Sonic Runners?

Explained: Hobo and Glunkus meme
  • Hobo and Glunkus are “fan cats” for the popular Japanese mobile game Neko Atsume: Kitty Collector.
  • They were created by Tumblr user supermemeep in a dream they had about the game.
  • According to their text post on the matter, “Hobo looked like a kinda dirty brown cat and Glunkus looked like the devil like he was black and his entire face was teeth” and they could only be attracted by a specific food also invented in that dream.
  • From this, many users have made fanart of Hobo and Glunkus, created their own eldritch catsonas, and speculated on the potential horrifying side of the cat collecting game.
  • Text posts on the topic read similarly to the regional Gothic meme, and make use of the same Lovecraftian humor.

My currently favorite pc game and My currently favorite Japanese mobile game app. You guys must be tried of all my crossover ideas.

Here you have a concept if there is such a collab between the two and what i think would be the available scratch gatcha and rarity for the characters.

This post is the 5 star rarity ones where it is extremely hard to get.( aka. you may get lucky or unlucky and end up devouring all your money and still have not one of them)

They evolve to 6 stars and with the proper evolve items their 7 star forms.

Coming soon:
