jamey carroll

INF and relief pitcher Jamey Carroll played his last game for Minnesota Sunday. Carroll, 800, went 1-4 and tagged out Alejandro De Aza at third base.

After the game, The Janitor was traded to the Kansas City Royals.

Carroll may not boast of his 2013 slashes: .230 BA / .283 OBP / .262 SLG, but he’s got a sparkling 0.00 ERA.

He’ll likely replace the injured artifact Miguel Tejada, and was probs acquired so Chris Getz wouldn’t feel so terrible about his so-called hitting.

I’m confused! #Dodgers talking to #Brewers about dealing Jamey Carroll on the heels of Brewers calling up Brett Carroll. Is this some new-fangled Moneyball-style hiring template they are working, drafting based on face?

Apparently, Jamey and Brett are not brothers. They are the same person!

Meanwhile, I’m hoping Roenicke has a lead on a Shaun Marcum look-a-like …
