“Cut!” The harsh yell of Justin Hammer, the middle-aged director of this hell, boomed through the spacious production studio. “James, great job as always. Tasha, we’re going to have to shoot that close up again.” He rises from his chair, crossing his arms. “You keep moving out of the light, and we need you to stay in it so we can get a clear shot of those famous tits of your’s.”

You stand alongside other crew members, watching the muscular back of the blue-eyed man flex as he moves from between the redhead’s legs his mouth had be working on seconds ago. Natasha’s glossy, bare body moves gracefully as she rests into a sitting position. Her eyes look frustrated as she blinks in motion with her soft pants. You watch as Natasha and Bucky share a quick exchange of a particular look, one that only could be shared between people who’ve been working in this industry for awhile. A look you could never understand.

Hammer strides over to a set of screens, all replaying Bucky’s oral actions and Natasha’s moans on repeat. He stares at the two actors in their field for a handful of minutes before turning back towards the pair who are now standing side by side in satin navy robes. “Let’s take a twenty-minute break, I need to sort out this lighting problem.” He turns back to the screens, muttering instructions to the group of people around him.

Your eyes peek at the monitors, lingering on the messy head of long, dark hair that rests between the long-legged redhead as his tongue swirls around the slick core of the woman. A sharp pain shoots from within your chest, your eyes glued to the daily horror of your boyfriend having sex with another woman.

“Absolutely not. There is no way you are dragging me into a muggle dress shop to sit around while you try on dresses,” Sirius shook his head. “Please, Pads?” Y/N stuck out her bottom lip, giving him the pouty face she knew her best friend couldn’t say ‘no’ to. Sirius groaned. “Why does it even matter?” “Because your my bestest friend in the whole wide world and I need your opinion!” Y/N cried dramatically, throwing herself into Sirius’ lap. “Bit dramatic today, aren’t we, Love?” Sirius muttered with a roll of his eyes. “Sirius,” Y/N whined, burying her face into his stomach. “Y/N, why don’t you just have William go with you to pick out the dress?” Sirius asked, reaching down to gently play with her hair. “He can’t see my dress before the ball!” Y/N exclaimed, shooting up from his lap. “And besides, he’ll just tell me I look good in everything. You’ll give me an honest opinion,” she added. “You do look good in everything,” Sirius laughed. “I know that,” Y/N gave his shoulder a gentle shove. “But you’ll tell me which one I look best in. And I need that. And I need you there to support me because you’re my best friendddddd,” she pouted, throwing herself across his lap once again. Sirius shook his head, unable to believe that he was about to agree to this. “Fine,” he huffed. “Let’s go.” “Thank you, thank you, thank you,” she squealed, sitting up and throwing her arms around him before jumping up and bounding to the door. “Are you coming or not?”

11 moments that marked Sirius and Remus’s relationship (at Hogwarts)
Year 1:

Moment #1

The first time Remus Lupin talked to Sirius Black, he had wanted to slap him. He had been 11 years old, self-conscious, quiet, and had sworn to keep to himself for the entirety of his 7 school years, but he had wanted to slap him very much.

“That’s what Mother says ayway,” Sirius kept repeating in that superior, pedant tone. “She says there has never been one single person in Slytherin that isn’t completely pureblooded.”

Remus thought he saw the greasy-haired boy next to the red-head move uncomfortably on his chair, but said nothing.

“I don’t know what’s Slytherins’ mania with pureblood, personally, though,” Sirius continued. “I myself am sure I will be sorted into Gryffindor,” he smirked triunphantly.

“Whoa!” The boy with the spectacles- James Potter, Remus was almost sure- exclaimed. “Can you imagine that? The first Black to be sorted somewhere other than Slytherin. That’ll give people something to talk about.”

Remus followed the conversation from his place next to the window, biting on his tongue to avoid saying anything that might make these boys hate him before they had even set foot on Hogwarts grounds. He settled for looking out the window, rolling his eyes at every new comment the two boys made.

Sirius turned to James, his eyes sparkling. “I know, right! That’ll show my family.” A pause. “What about you, Lupin? Where do you think you’ll end up?”

Remus turned his head slowly, trying to mask his surprise at being addressed.

“I dunno,” he muttered, shrugging a little bit. He thought of adding something else, seeing the expectant looks of the other 4 people around him. He didn’t want, however, to tell them how incredibly freaked out he was, how he thought the Sorting Hat would probably just laugh (if hats could laugh) and tell him You? You thought you had a place here? How marvelous! How incredibly amusing! and just laugh and laugh and laugh until someone took it off Remus’s head so he could run out of the school and hide under a rock forever and ever.

So he just blinked and turned back to the window. He heard Sirius let out a disappointed breath, and it was a few seconds before he resumed his conversation with James. This time, however, Remus listened without rolling his eyes.

+++

Moment #2:

“Black, Sirius!”

Sirius walked up to the stool where the sorting hat rested, his heart drumming like mad inside his chest, his legs feeling like melting butter. He hid his hands under the sleeves of his robes so no one could see them shaking, and tried to muster every single piece of confidence that could possibly run into his Black blood. He brushed past Remus Lupin in the process, and let out a breath he didn’t know he was holding. He could do this.

+++

Moment #3:

“Sirius?” Remus whispered, pressing his ear against the drapes of the four-posted bed. Immediately he heard the other boy let out a shaky breath. “Sirius, I’m going to open the curtain, okay?” No response.

He pulled the drapes aside, revealing a curled-up lump on a corner of the bed. The lump- Sirius- was shaking with silent sobs. Tentatively, Remus climbed on top of the bed, putting a hand on Sirius’s arm and coaxing him to turn on his side.

Reluctantly, Sirius did, and Remus tried not to wince at the look on his friend’s face; it was tear-stained, the long-ish hair plastered to his forehead, his eyes red. Sirius sniffed. “What do you want?” he asked weakly. Remus assumed that, under any other circumstances, he would have snapped.

“Move over,” he said softly, pulling the tangled sheets from under Sirius, and getting under them when Sirius moved against the wall without objecting. Once they were settled, Sirius slowly moved to curl against Remus’s bony side. Remus didn’t move, but didn’t pull away either.

“I’m sorry I woke you,” Sirius muttered. Remus turned his head slightly to look at him.

“I get them too, you know.” Sirius exhaled slowly, his breath tickling Remus’s neck. “Nightmares. I get them a lot.”

Sirius didn’t say anyting, just reached for Remus’s hand under the blankets and gave it a squeeze. They went to sleep peacefully for the rest of the night (and nights that followed).

Year 3:

Moment #4:

“I mean it, James. We need to confront him about it.”

“Sirius! For the thousandth time, he’ll tell us when he’s ready.”

Sirius scowled. “But what if he’s never ready? You can’t just expect us- he can’t just expect us- to simply sit here while he goes through excruciating pain in that horrible excuse of a shelter! We need to do something!”

James threw his hands up, losing his patience. “And what do you expect us to do, Sirius? Werewolves can’t be near humans. He’d kill us without ever realising it. What do you want us to become, animals?”

Sirius opened his mind to retort, then closed it again, realization hitting him. He smirked.

“Exactly.”

Moment #5:

Remus fidgeted with the hem of the sleeves of his sweater. “Is everything okay…?” he was starting to get nervous. His hands felt cold and he was sure most of the color had drained from his face right now. His heart was thumping painfully in his chest, and he took a deep breath in, playing off his dread with an awkward smile.

Sirius, James and Peter stood in front of him in their room, and looked at him directly in the eye. James seemed to be pondering, trying to read him. Sirius, on the other hand, seemed to be looking for the right words to start.

“Remus,” Sirius breathed out, then cleared his throat. “Remus weknowyou’reawerewolf.”

Remus knew he hadn’t heard wrong. Sirius had spoken in one single breath, words tumbling against each other, in such an unlike-Sirius manner, that Remus, even though he knew he had heard right, couldn’t help but ask,

“What was that?”

Sirius seemed to compose himself after that. “You’re a werewolf, Remus. We know.” Remus’s whole blood drained from his brain, and all he could do was gape at his friends. Peter kept throwing worried glances at James, and James was still looking at Remus as if he were trying to read into his soul.

“I-,” Remus started. “I don’t-”

Sirius raised his hand to stop him. “It’s no use, Remus. We know. We’re sure. But-” he reaised his hand again when Remus started to deny it, and apologize, and say he would be away from their lives forever at the same time. “But we don’t care. James, Peter and I wanted to say that we don’t care that you’re a werewolf, Remus.”

There was such decision in Sirius’s voice, his tone so definite, Remus’s eyes swelled against his will. The anguish that had been building up inside him had been finally released, and he was so relieved he couldn’t help the tears that started to flood his eyes and spill down his cheeks. Embarrassed, he put his face between his hands and rubbed his cheekbones furiously.

Sirius chuckled. “You didn’t think we would be mad, did you? I mean, I was mad that you hadn’t told us so we could help, but you do realize there’s nothing wrong with you, nothing that could make us push you away, right?”

Remus barely registered what he was saying. He sniffed into his palms, trying to stop the convulsing sobs from shaking his body from head to toe. He felt James sit next to him and put his hand on his shoulder. Then he felt Sirius sit on the other side.

“Remus,” James said, speaking for the first time. “You are our best friend. Even if we’d found out you had killed someone, we would have asked you whether you had hidden the body well enough.”

At this, Remus let out a slightly hysteric laugh.

“I think he’s hysteric,” whispered Peter. Remus agreed very much.

“Remus. Rem,” Sirius said, starting to rub Remus’s back. “Everything’s going to be okay. You don’t have to go through that alone anymore.”

At this, curiosity got the best of him and Remus lifted his head to look at his friend. “Wha-” he cleared his throat. “Wh’ you mean?”

Sirius smiled his trademark smile, and Remus hiccuped.

“We have a plan.”

Year 5:

Moment #6:

“Moony! Moonymoonymoony we did it!” Remus looked up from his book to see his friends barging through the portrait hole, earning the glares of a few students. “It worked, Moony!” Sirius repeated, this time in an eager whisper so as not to attract anymore attention than they already had.

“It did?” Remus asked, closing his book and sitting up slowly. His heart, once again, was hammering wildly inside his chest.

James nodded, a huge smile spread across his face. “The three of us. We did it.”

Remus stared, realization slowly hitting him. When it did, he beamed at the three of them. He looked at each of his friends, his eyes taking in the proud smile on James’s face, the gleeful one on Peter’s, and then resting on Sirius, who looked back at him with a proud, satisfied smile, and a mischevious glint in his eyes.

“Show me,” Remus said.

They ran back through the portrait hole outside.

+++

Moment #7:

Remus and Sirius were lying on Sirius’s bed, staring at the ceiling.

“Sirius?” Remus whispered hoarsely. Sirius felt a shiver run down his spine, that he masked by turning on his side to look at his friend. “Promise me you’ll never stop being my friend, Sirius. Nor James or Peter. I don’t want to be alone.”

Remus sometimes got like this, after a particularly bad dream. It broke Sirius’s heart every single time.

“I promise,” he said without hesitation, and he meant it. He wove his fingers through Remus’s, and rested his head on the werewolve’s shoulder. He exhaled slowly. “I promise you James and Peter and I will never leave you.”

Remus nodded his head, and rested his cheek on the top of Sirius’s head. “Thank you.”

+++

Moment #8:

Sirius hadn’t been sure what had gotten into him when he said what he said to Snape. He didn’t even really remember the moment the words had escaped his lips. If it hadn’t been for James… Sirius didn’t even want to think about that. He just steadily made his way to the hospital wing, his legs burning from running all the way from Herbology.

He opened the doors and barged in, ignoring Madame Pomfrey’s objections.

“Remus,” he said, opening the curtains around his friend’s bed, and stopped dead when he saw the state Remus was in. There were long, deep gashes on his chest and legs, and a huge bruise forming on one of his hipbones. He had black shadows under his eyes. There was also a cut running from one temple to the opposite corner of his mouth, across his nosebridge. “Remus, please-“

But Remus wasn’t looking at him. He was staring ahead, his eyes glazed, his jaw clenched. Sirius took a careful step closer, but stopped when Remus’s shoulders tensed.

“Remus you have to let me explain-“

“Save it, Sirius,” Remus said, still not looking at him. “Just fucking save it.”

“I didn’t mean it, Remus. I- I don’t know what happened-“

“Oh, you didn’t?” Remus turned to look at him, his eyes full of rage in a way Sirius had never seen them. He took a step back. “You didn’t mean it, Sirius?”

“Moony, please-“

“Don’t call me that,” Remus snapped, and Sirius felt it like a blow to his stomach. He visibly blanched. “Just,” Remus said, and suddenly he looked very tired. “Just get out, Sirius. I don’t- I don’t really feel like looking at you right now.”

Sirius gulped, trying to catch his breath. His lungs seemed to be refusing to work. Just as he was about to reply, Madame Pomfrey opened the curtains all the way.

“Mr. Black, I’m going to have to ask you to leave,” she looked sternly at Sirius. “Mr. Lupin is very delicate at the moment and he needs to rest. Upsetting him will not do.”

Sirius looked at Remus pleadingly, but the werewolf pointedly looked away. Sirius felt another stab at his chest, and hung his head defeated.

“Of course, ma’am.”

And without another word, he left the hospital.

+++

Moment #9:

Sirius’s eyes were tinged with red, had lately always been so. Red-rimmed and red-tinged and puffy most (if not all) of the time. At first, Remus had been secretly, not-so-guiltily pleased. He was slightly scared of this feeling, but way too angry at Sirus to really analyze it. Sirius had tried to apologize a couple of times more, but Remus refused to talk to him. The level of betrayal and indignation he felt was way too big for even himself.

He knew he wasn’t being entirely fair– 90% of him was sure Sirius had not been thinking when he said what he said to Snape. He knew Sirius’s nature; he talked without thinking, exploded way too easily, couldn’t help himself sometimes. He really shouldn’t be holding it against him.

Yet that 10%… that 10% kept nagging at him, telling him not to trust his best friend, to question it. It had been really hard to ignore that 10%, hence Remus avoiding Sirius at all costs.

But it had been two months already, and the voice had subsided, becoming just an annoying, mostly ignorable buzz in the back of his head.

“Sirius,” Remus said rigidly. He’d forgiven Sirius, sure, but he wasn’t about to let Sirius see that yet. “Let’s talk.”

Sirius had looked up from his Transfigurations homework when Remus had first said his name, and Remus had to fight the urge to throw his arms around his friend’s neck and hold him forever and tell him everything would be alright. He looked tired, he had eyes under his bags, and his eyes were eternally red. Remus’s heart clenched painfully in his chest as he realized he was responsible.

“S-“ Sirius cleared his throat. “Sure.”

Year 6:

Moment #10:

“You’re mental.”

“Am not.”

“Are too.”

Sirius huffed. His head was resting on Remus’s chest, and Remus’s fingers were running through his hair softly. Sirius sighed pleasantly.

“Wanna know a secret, Moony?”

Remus hummed. His eyelids felt heavy, and the steady weight of Sirius’s head was making his brain start to shut down into bottomless, peaceful sleep.

“I got so scared.” Sirius whispered. Remus’s fingers stopped for a second, then kept going. Sirius took a deep breath. “That time. I know you don’t like to talk about it but… I was so scared I’d lost you forever.”

Remus was silent, didn’t know how to reply. He felt his heart pick up in his rib cage and was sure Sirius felt it too.

Sirius’s voice was barely audible when he spoke again. “I thought you would n-“ his voice breaks. Remus’s fingers clenched on Sirius’s scalp. “Never talk to me again.”

Remus took his hand off Sirius’s head and Sirius lifted his head slightly to look at him. The thin ray of moonlight made his hair and eyelashes look silver. There were tears in his eyes.

“I wouldn’t, Sirius,” Remus said softly but firmly. He put his hand against Sirius’s cheek and rubbed it ever-so-softly with his thumb. “I would never.”

Sirius closed his eyes and leaned into the touch, two thin lines of water spilling from his eyes. It was still such a rare sight to see Sirius so vulnerable like this. It made Remus’s insides twist in a painful, nearly agonizing knot.

Sirius bit back a sob, and Remus just couldn’t take it anymore. He pulled Sirius closer to him, and Sirius buried his face in the crook of his neck, letting himself cry. Remus held him, pulled him onto his lap, and cradled him. “I missed you s-so much, Rem-mus. I’m sorr-ry.”

Remus held him, kissed the top of his head repeatedly, whispered soothing words in his ear. “Sirius. It’s okay, Sirius. It’s okay. I’ve forgiven you, you know that. It’s all okay.” And there were tears flooding his eyes as well, and they were both a sobbing mess but yeah, it was all okay.

+++

Moment #11:

“Sirius, what the hell are you doing?”

Sirius turned to face Remus, a mischevious smile tugging at his lips. Then the music started to play.

“Dance with me, Moony.”

Remus froze, his eyes widened in terror. It was one of the funniest things to see Remus like this, Sirius thought. All taken by surprise.

“No way.”

“Yes way.” Sirius started to walk towards him, moving his hips in a way Remus thought should be absolutely illegal. He tugged at Remus’s hand, pulling him to himself.

“Sirius-“ Remus began, throwing his head back.

I want you to want me,” Sirius sang, and Remus’s heart fell a little bit south. He swallowed. “I need you to need me.

And they were dancing. There was something compelling about the way Sirius moved, with his hair falling on his face and his hips swaying and his chest heaving. Remus couldn’t help but move along.

When the song was over, Sirius and Remus were flushed together, Remus’s back against one of the posters of his bed. Sirius leaned in, slightly out of breath, and whispered in Remus’s ear, panting, “I’d love you to love me.”

Remus let out a puff of breath that stirred Sirius’s hair. Sirius pulled back to look at him, and his eyes fell on his lips, and before Remus could do or say or think anything, Sirius was kissing him, kissing him hard and wet and perfect. Remus made a noise in the back of his throat and kissed back, coaxing Sirius’s mouth open with his tongue, tasting cigarettes and toothpaste and Sirius. And he loved him.

((I’m gonna leave it at that because we know that afterwards everything becomes angsty and I am fUCKING TIRED of writing angst. So here, have this little thing I wrote in the course of this week.))

Hail Mary, Part VII

Premise: What if Jamie and Claire had 1) been more openly affectionate in those early days, and 2) not *had* to get married?

Part I  Part II  Part III Part IV Part V Part VI

Hail Mary: Part VII

“No, no, no, wait, hold—HOLD ON—” I wheezed, laughing so hard I could feel tears forming. “I WILL get this right, damn it!”

I could feel him shaking with laughter (his AND mine) his head bobbing like a cork on my lap. “Sixth time’ll do it, aye?”

“FIFTH, you ginger arse!”

We were heaped on a pallet of old blankets and feather mattresses in a garrett alcove high in the castle eaves, the kind of place where odds and ends tended to get thrown and then forgotten; the kind of place two lovers could easily be forgotten, too.

Lovers. I still couldn’t believe it, any of it: the pain and aching of the weeks of silence between us; then that furious night in his room—the fury of his pain, the agony and release of my revelations, the exquisite joy of taking him into my arms and knowing all was well. This man, strong and kind, gentle and deadly in one, still loved me, and he wanted to spend his life with me. I ached now from happiness, from the unreasonable perfection of the life that I’d been granted; ached with happiness that there was now utter truth between us, nothing held back. Not even silliness.

“Alright, ALRIGHT, here goes.” I took a deep breath, my lips still quivering with laugher, and looked him in the eye, ticking off each word on my fingers. “JAMES….”

“Aye,” he grinned, blue eyes sparkling, “ye’ve got that one well down.”

I stuck out my tongue at him before continuing intently. “James…ALEXANDER…” Here’s the tricky one. “M—Mmmmmm—?” I screwed up my face, raising my eyebrows as I said slowly, “Mmmm….acccK—?”

He grinned and gave the tiniest shake of his head

“—K-ALLLLLCOLM MACKENZIE FRASER!!” I finished in a slur of triumph.

“Well done, lass,” he laughed and turned on his side toward me, his cheek on my thigh. “Now ye ken who I am, we can be marrit!”

I did know who he was, no matter what name he went by. And if I’d been a little hazy on trivial details before, we had spent the last hour learning each others’ histories and families. Still, it was certainly good to know the true name of my husband-to-be. I smoothed his cinnamon curls back from his face, reciting more softly. “James….Alexander… Malcolm….MacKenzie….Fraser.” He had his eyes closed, following my touch with small, contented hums. “It’s a beautiful name, Jamie.”

He smiled. “Common enough, but it’s served me well, thusfar.”

“Fraser,” I repeated. “Claire Fraser.”

He opened his eyes, such feeling and joy written there. “Now, that is a beautiful name.”

“I rather like it too. Though, you know, in my own time, some women are starting to keep their own last names after they marry.”

He blinked. “Is….If that’s what ye wish—”

“No, no,” I said quickly, squeezing his shoulder with a laugh. “I don’t. I want to share a name with you.”

He smiled, that sweet, sleepy, boyish smile. “Then I shall count it a gift. A gift from my beloved, who is, herself, the greatest gift of my life.”

Bloody charmer. And the remarkable thing was, he meant it. “Do you wish to know more about it?”

“More about what, Sassenach?”

“My time. Where I come from”

He straightened a bit at that. “Aye, I do. What it’s like, what’s changed, what hasn’t.”

“Anything you wish to know, Jamie, you have only to ask.”

He nodded. “In time,” he said simply, stroking me gently. “I’m curious to learn from ye; but we’ve a lifetime for it, aye?”

I bent down to kiss him. “Yes. Yes, we do.”

We sat in silence for a long, peaceful time, the weight of him warm on my lap and legs. We did have a lifetime for talking, and yet so little time now. We’d had scarcely two hours alone, in fact, in the day and a half since I’d crept shamelessly into his chamber. My restriction to the castle walls and Jamie’s duties at the stables had left us with few opportunities to see one another without rousing suspicion, and that was paramount. We had to tread carefully until Jamie had the chance to speak with Colum, to give an explanation of how the apparent ice between us had transformed so swiftly into betrothal. No small task, that, and Colum had been detained in meetings with the visiting Grant delegation all of the previous day.

And so, we’d been discreet: a stolen moment in an alcove, here; a shared glance across the great hall, there; Jamie’s lips on mine, his hands cupping my face as he bade me goodnight at my chamber door with a husky, “Goodnight, mo chridhe;” this blissful hour of solitude in lieu of the noon meal, an hour with Jamie (Murtagh standing sentinel at the end of the corridor, Lord bless him). Even a moment with Jamie was beautiful, like….like…Yes: like he was my first love—the passion, the sweetness; the inability to keep from grinning foolishly whenever I was with him.

“Christ, this is NOT proper,” Jamie said suddenly, loosening his grip and making me just as unexpectedly aware that his arms had been around my waist, his hands gently cupping my arse, his face mere inches away from my nether parts.

“Proper-SHMOPPER,” I shrugged, bending down to kiss his temple. “And it’s fairly damn proper from my point of view, since you insist on keeping me an honest woman.”

Because the ‘passion’ we’d shared in our hour together, despite my best efforts to have my way with my new fiancé, was all of the fully-clothed variety.

“Believe, you me, Sassenach, I want ye…” He sighed and his hands spasmed as though to grab onto something. “Want ye so badly I have to catch my breath from it, sometimes… ”

“If it’s what you wish, darling, so be it. It’s rather sweet, actually—Just as long as it’s not stemming from some fool notion about my virtue.” I gave him a wry grin. “I was married before, so I’m no more a blushing virgin than you are!”

“Aye, well….” He gave a sharp cough and shifted to sit upright against the opposite wall of our alcove. He had a strange expression on his face.

I stretched and rested my back against my own wall, my legs parallel to his. I gently touched his foot. “What’s the matter, Jamie?”

“This is truly what ye want, Sassenach, aye? To be wed to me?”

“Yes,” I said at once, squeezing his leg. “You’re what I want.“ I ran back through my words for an explanation. “And I’m sorry I alluded to Frank, I just—”

He shook his head. “Dinna ever apologize for that. It’s part of ye.”

But it was clear enough that mention of it had brought a shadow over his heart.

“I love you.” I tried to meet his lowered gaze. Did he still doubt. “Do you believe me?

“Aye,” he said at once, giving a genuine but troubled smile. “There is a truth and a trust between us now. I believe it. And I love you too, mo nighean donn. It’s only…”

I supposed if he could believe I came from the future, he could believe what he’d so vividly felt between us on the road. Still… “What’s troubling you, Jamie?”

“I just wish to say that I’m sorry, about Frank. That ye couldna—that the way back to him was barred.”

I wanted to make it into a joke, but couldn’t. “I can’t see why you should be sorry, to be perfectly honest.”

“Frank wasna cruel to ye, aye? He was—is a good man?”

“Yes. A very good man.”

“And ye loved him.”

“I did. I—do, still—in—in a way—”

“Aye, I suppose ye must. And that’s why I’m sorry, in a way, because it’s still a loss for ye, one that ye must bear.”

I nodded, a lump in my throat. He was right: no matter how quickly or wholeheartedly I’d decided to come back to Jamie, Frank would always haunt me, in some way. I hoped he could start over—that I wouldn’t haunt him

“If ye find ye ever—need to talk about him,” Jamie was saying, his brows furrowed so sweetly in concern, “dinna hesitate, aye?”

“That’s very gallant of you,” I laughed, a little hoarsely as I swallowed.

“Well,” he laughed, gleaming with that lively energy I adored so greatly, “mind, ‘tis easy for me be magnanimous, seeing as how the man willna be born for two hundred years.” He sighed and looked me in the eye. “But suffice it to say, for the love between you and me, I couldna go further wi’out saying that I understand this is all verra complicated. I wish us to be…partners, to share our hearts wi’ one another, as my parents did. So, just know that whatever it is ye might be feeling is alright—and I shall do my best to understand—and help, if I might.”

“I almost wish that the stones had worked.”

It was out of my mouth before I truly considered it, and I saw a ripple of pain pass through him before he marshaled himself with a gruff, “Why’s that?”

“So that I could have chosen you,” I said frankly.  He smiled in relief, a genuine, broad, glowing smile, but I went on. “If I could have felt that the stones would have worked, and stopped myself, thought of you and truly chosen you…Lord, I don’t know. Perhaps my guilt over Frank would have been greater, but I can’t bear the thought of you, now, thinking you were…. second choice.”

He beckoned to me. “Come here to me, mo chridhe.”

I crawled over until I was sitting curled sideways on his lap, the two of us heaped together in the sunlit window. He laid a warm palm on the side of my cheek and gently stroked my hair back from my face, murmuring into the top of my head. “Even if I was second choice,” he said firmly, “t’was a second choice because of your duty, and that’s no shame to you or to me. If I’d known the truth, I’d have taken ye there to the stones myself; no matter how painful it would have been to deliver ye back to the arms of another man.”

“You…really would have done that?”

Aye. Couldna have done otherwise. Ye had to try. It was your duty, and ye discharged it. And now, your conscience can be clear, as can mine.”

“Thank you,” I murmured, feeling the trickles of absolution flowing over me. I wrapped my arms around his waist and soaked him in; his scent, his warmth, the cadence of his voice. “We’re lucky. We’re so very lucky,” I whispered.

“We’re blessed.”

A sun-soaked eternity later, he gave my back two quick taps and made to rise.

“Oh, don’t go,” I moaned playfully, wrapping my arms tighter around his neck. “I’m so COLD.“ I made a dramatic pout that would have impressed any Hollywood director. “Stay and keep me warm, Mr. MacTavish!”

He snorted, laughing fondly, remembering. “You’re blazing as a wee coal, Sassenach,” he said, extricating himself only to lean overtop me, pressing me gently back into the nest of blankets. “But as much as I’d love to stay and let ye light me up a bit, I’ll be late if I dinna leave now. ‘Tis an important meeting, aye?”

It bloody well was. “Are you nervous?”

“Of marrying you?” he asked with a grin, nipping my neck.” Aye, terrified, feisty wee beastie.”

“No, not me,” I laughed, though the anxiety gripped my gut. “Of your talk with Colum.”

“Oh aye, a bit. He willna be best pleased at my choice—” He ran the back of his hand down my cheek. “But surely it canna come as a complete shock to him that taking over the clan hasna been my ambition, particularly wi’ Dougal looming large so near at hand.”

“So, you think he’ll give us his blessing?”

“I have my hopes set on cold acquiescence, myself,” Jamie said, frankly. “If he puts up a skelloch, my argument is that wi’ the Sassenach spy in my bed, I can more easily keep my eye on her; keep her from doing anything too treacherous.”

“Treacherous? Heavens, no.” I rose with him and kissed him chastely, then cupped him in a way that was anything BUT chaste, relishing his moaning gasp. “Wicked? Oh, most certainly.”

“Thank you for meeting wi’ me, uncle.”

The Laird of Clan MacKenzie was resplendent, as usual, in his furs and frock coat. In addition, though, his manner this afternoon was uncharacteristically bright, his eyes twinkling and a smile playing at his mouth from across the broad desk. “So, nephew: I assume you’re here to ask permission to return to your estate.”

“How did ye ken that, uncle?” Aye, and that was part of it, was it not ? Jamie was free. He could go home. To Jenny. To Lallybroch. Aye, and he would. Just not alone.

“It’s been clear enough from your manner these last few weeks that you could no longer be happy at Leoch wi’ Mistress Beauchamp about.”

Jamie flinched at her name, but Colum didn’t seem to notice, steepling his fingers and looking on with seemingly kind approbation.

“Well, uncle, she isna so—”

“It was good of ye to come to the lady’s aid, lad,” Colum said gently, “Has she been pestering ye?”

“No,” he said emphatically, “Not at all, though I thank you for your concern, uncle.” The time has come, Fraser.  “The thing is—”

Colum held up a hand. “Ye dinna need to play so near the chest, lad. I ken it’s been hard, and it would be better on ye were she to be gone.” He beamed. “And I’m happy to say I’ve a solution.”

Jamie’s wame clenched.  A solution? Involving Claire?

Colum gestured to a servant in the corner, who came forward with a decanter of whisky. To Jamie’s astonishment, Colum was heaving himself out of the chair and hobbling to come around the desk and stand beside him.

He rose and held out staying hands. “Uncle, sit, please, ye dinna have to—”

“Nonsense, it’s an important occasion, lad.” The laird took a glass from the tray and handed one to Jamie. The noble kinsman raised the whisky and sighed in a wide, proud way. “A toast: to my dear sister’s son and his wife-to-be.” He drank.

Jamie followed suit, for no other reason than to hide the shock that must be visible on his face. WIFE-TO-BE?? How did he know??

Colum, in another surprise, seemed pleased by Jamie’s stunned silence. “Och, so ye did piece it together, then?” He roared with laughter and inclined his head with a fierce pride. “That’s why you’re fit to lead this clan, lad. Clever and cunning, and it does ye much credit. Slainte.”

His uncle drank again, but it was Jamie’s head reeling. Had someone overheard him and Claire in the last day and a half and reported back to the laird? Was this kind, approving performance naught but a game? Was Jamie about to be castigated for having the audicity to suggest wedding the sassenach?

And yet the laird seemed so genuine in his congratulations. He positively glowed as he set his glass back on the tray and clapped Jamie on the arm. “Now, you’ll see soon enough for yourself that Edina is a fine lady, if a wee bit—”

“Who?” Jamie blurted, though the realization was already plummeting down upon him.

“Edina Grant, your—” And like a stormcloud over the sun, Colum’s expression darkened to a deadly, steely grey. He all but growled it: “Your betrothed.”

Prompts

-Otabek has that old-school charm. A classic gentleman with a soul trapped in the aesthetics of James Dean. Yuri has a silver tongue and piercing eyes. His heart is electrifying and difficult to touch.

-Sometimes in the middle of the night, when Yuri can’t sleep, he’ll whisper into Otabek’s ear, knowing that he’s a light sleeper. Then, the two of them would wordlessly get changed and hop onto Otabek’s motorcycle and escape into the night. Without speaking more, Otabek would park next to a lake and they’ll stare at the stars until the sun comes up. Yuri isn’t quite sure what these rituals really are, but the happiness and peace he feels being below the wide expanse of the sky and next to Otabek is something that brings him true happiness.

-Otabek and Yuri have a house next to the ocean. During summer evenings, Otabek would take out his guitar and strum some timeless songs, smiling in the most lovesick manner as Yuri sways softly to the melody.

-Otabek and Yuri vacation in obscure and often unknown locations because they see beauty in the places that everyone else forgets.

-There is nothing more assuring than the feeling of Otabek’s fingers laced around Yuri’s own. Otabek’s grip is not constant and he often applies just the slightest bit of pressure to remind Yuri that he’ll always be there.

-Yuri often felt a strange fear of the world until he met the person who he knew would go against that fear for the rest of his life.

-There is an elderly man who lives in the neighboring house. He is alone but he never seems lonely. One day, a young girl meets him outside and asks why he lives in such a big house alone. Smiling, the man tells the girl that it was the house he and his husband built together. Curiously, the girl asks the man why she has never seen the man’s husband. With a raw, poignant look in his eyes, the elderly man tells the girl that he had passed away ten years ago. He interrupts the girl as she begins to apologize profusely for her insensitivity and tells her that he would much rather have her focus on his husband’s life than his death. Thus begins a friendship between the two. Each day, the old man would tell an anecdote to the girl over tea and watches over her as she grows older and eventually gets accepted into her dream university, set on her path to becoming a writer. At university, she receives the news that the old man had passed away peacefully. When she returns to visit his grave a few years later, out of the corner of her eye, she briefly sees what resembles the two beautiful men she had come to love and know so well over the years, holding hands and smiling at her. With the stories of the life that the two men lead together radiantly clear her mind, the girl pens her first novel, inspired by her “grandfathers”.

the art of being a gentleman

because who doesn’t want a muggle au?

James should be thinking about several things.

He should be thinking about his history course work due in two days or his match on Saturday. He should be thinking about the prefect timetable he has yet to organise and he definitely should be thinking about the niggling pain in the back of his knee and if he should mention it to his coach. What he categorically shouldn’t be thinking about is the pretty redhead at his bus stop and how he wants to kiss the colour out of her lips and hold it in his chest.

She’s wearing those bloody jeans again, the same as the week before, that hug her legs and around her waist (and other areas James definitely isn’t looking at). The streetlamps have already clicked on, her skin is woven gold under the amber light.

He can’t look away, won’t look away as she wanders up and down the bus stop, her fingers tapping at her phone screen and her mouth lifting into a lazy smile as she reads a text. Thunderous grey clouds hang heavy in the sky and he wonders if he is going mad, standing in the cold about to be soaked when with one call he could have a car pick him up with complimentary tea and biscuits.

The girl smiles again and he knows he’s going mad because his heart is pumping in his throat and flowers are growing through his ribs. His phones rings and he lifts it to his ear, noticing there is still a smear of blood across his bruised knuckles.

“We need your help,” Sirius tells him. James can hear what he thinks is Pete trying to move a bed. “Where are you?”

“I’m at the bus stop, I need to nip to the flat to grab something.” James tells him, craning his neck to see if the bus is coming. The girl glances at him, pulling her bottom lip through her teeth. James flashes her a grin and blood burns up the neck he so desperately wants to press his lips against.

“I thought that’s what you were doing last week?” Sirius replies.

“Yeah, I just need something else.” James winces at the silence that follows. There’s another crash and Pete is violently swearing.

“This wouldn’t have anything to do with that redhead who was on the bus last week, would it?”

James can’t stop his eyes flickering to where she stands, leaning against a lamppost, her silhouette cut from the shadows. “Err- potentially- anyway why did you need me?”

“We’re trying to find Moony’s philosophy notes, he’s hidden them.”

He runs his hand through his hair, it needs a wash to get rid of the remnants of mud. “Obviously, last time you used them you spilt gin all over them.”

“That wasn’t my fau- oh you utter bastard you know where they are don’t you?”

James laughs and leans against the crumbling brick wall behind him. “Look, Pads, I’ve got to go, I’ll see you tonight.”

There’s more crashing and what sounds like ‘James you fucker’ before James can press end call. The girl is staring at him, the corner of her mouth twitching. He pockets his phone with a sheepish grin at her. He’s about to ask her something, anything. Words are climbing up his throat and dancing across his tongue, a ballet of letters held between his teeth.

Then the sky opens.

The rain isn’t particularly heavy but it’s the sort that seeps under the skin and lingers in the blood, James’s hair is already damp by the time he gets his hood up. The girl is shivering, her thin jumper soaked through. James’s legs start moving before his brain does, his hands unzipping his rugby bag and fishing out his school hoodie. The girl looks confused, James must too because he’s not really sure what he’s doing.

“Here, it’ll stop you freezing to death.” He says, offering it to her. She reaches for it, uncertainty spilling out of her eyes. “I’m James, by the way.”

“You’re not a serial killer, are you?” she asks once she’s tugged it over her head. He almost misses the question, thinking too much about how she would look in nothing but his rugby shirt.

She’s staring at him expectantly, her brow crinkled ever so slightly.

“Only on Thursdays, you should be safe.”

She laughs, sunlight falling from her lips, her fingers tucking strands of copper hair under the hood. “I’m Lily,” she says. Lily. He nods, it settles in his stomach like it’s always been there, Lily. The rain keeps up it’s symphony on the pavement.

“So how posh are you, on a scale of Eddie Redmayne to Prince William?” she asks. Her eyes are alight, her voice bubbling like cheap champagne. He thinks he might be already drunk.

He raises an eyebrow, pretends to look offended, drinks in the light that’s pouring out of her. “Me, posh? Never.” Her phone beeps but her hands stay tucked in the pockets of his hoodie, he lets a drop of warmth creep into his bones.

“Seriously though, I hear your school fees are insane.”

He glances at the crest stitched into his jacket, into the hoodie, into his skin. Red and gold and laughter and adrenaline and home. “I’m not that posh. Sirius, he’s a lord, but I’m nothing special.”

He knows the weight the name carries, knows the looks in the street, the eyes noting the tie and blazer, the polished shoes and tailored trousers. He knows what they think of, arrogance smirks and burnt fifty pound notes, wrecked cars and opportunities thrown about like paper in a classroom. They’re not all like that, he’s not like that.

“A lord, huh?” she says, “Can you get me his number?”

Masterlist

Why do I do what I do? Merlin, I fucking hate myself. One minute I am collected, and the next i’m off the chain, what the hell is going on with me?

I don’t like him, I don’t

Yet, I crave him so much

But maybe it’s not a want

It’s a need.

I bloody need him.

I want to feel him once again, but this time I want him to remember, I want him to remember.

All night these dastardly thoughts have been racing through my head, the night me and Sirius shared resides in the darkest parts of my memories, for I shouldn’t even dare to remember at all, yet I do, I keep thinking about it, and it just makes me want it more and more.

When I awoke I had a massive headache, my eyes could barely open because of the bright sunlight shining in on me. I twitched slightly, too tired to pull the covers over my head.

“Morning.” Lily said.

I peered over to her, she was sitting on her bed, a cup of tea nestled in between her hands, and a pair of sunglasses placed on her nose.

“Need some?” She questioned, referencing to her sunglasses. “S’quite bright in here.”

I sat up slowly, rubbing the bridge of my nose.

“What the hell happened last night?” I asked, looking down at a set of lingerie lying on the floor.

“Well, we got drunk, and I mean bloody drunk,” She said, getting excited. “I brought some of my favorite muggle alcohol and you and I finished them off.”

“Me and you finished off two bottles of…” I looked down at the floor reading the labels on the front of the glass. “Jack Daniels?”

Lily got quiet all of the sudden, looking down into her mug.

“Lily…” I pressed. “Who else was with us?”

She stayed quiet, still looking longingly into her mug.

“Just James, and Remus and Peter…” She said half-heartedly.

“You’re telling me Remus drank hard liquor? Because we both know good and well he doesn’t drink hard liquor.”

“…And Sirius.” She said quietly, sounding ashamed.

“And Sirius!” I laughed sarcastically, getting angry.

“Lily,” I questioned.” “What the hell happened last night?”

the night before…

“He did what!” Lily whisper yelled at me, dragging me into the corner.

I rolled my eyes, crossing my arms protectively.

“How many times do I have to say it. I started freaking out, then I leant up and kissed him.”

Lily scoffed, not knowing what to say.

“What?” I yelled. “It’s not like I haven’t kissed him before!”

“Y/N…” She sighed. “This is different, you were…you were…”

“Lucid? Yeah I know.”

She eyed me up and down, flashing me a quizzical look.

“You don’t like him… do you?”

I got choked up, my air catching in my throat

“Pshh… What, me? Like Sirius? Haha, of course not!” I said, trying to play it off, but the thoughts inside my head were contradicting everything I was saying.

She raised her brow at me and shook her head as we walked into the common room, running into James and Remus.

“Oi, where are you two off to?” James asked, pulling Lily into a hug.

“Just going upstairs, a long day it’s been.” Lily replied, rummaging her head into his neck.

“What she said.” I added.

“Are you guys not going to the party tonight?” Remus asks, smiling at me.

“Party?” I asked. “What party?”

“Just a house party for Gryffindor’s, maybe a few Hufflepuff’s.” Remus added.

I scoffed, biting my lip instinctively.

“No Slytherins?” I asked.

“Merlin no, definitely not. Sirius made it very clear he didn’t want them here.”

James coughed and nudged Remus’ side, I guess that was something he wasn’t supposed to say. Me and Lily looked at each other suspiciously and waltzed up the stairs to our room.

“What are you wearing?” Lily yelled to me from the bathroom.

I couldn’t find anything I wanted to wear in my wardrobe despite the countless dresses and denim I had all lined up.

“Not sure yet.” I added.

She walked out of the bathroom, sliding in an earring, her hair freshly curled and bouncing along with each step.

“Let me look.” She said, pushing me out of the way and searching my wardrobe.

Then it caught her eye, the light pink, holographic dress. It was tight up top and flared out at the bottom, quite skimpy. If I bent over too far everyone would have quite the view of my arse.

“This,” She said. “This is what you’re going to wear.”

“That?” I yelled, a bit curious.

“Yes that! You’ll be the talk of the school, why haven’t you worn it yet?” She asked.

“Well it was more of a collective purchase, I wasn’t planning on wearing it.”

“Well you will tonight, and I bet you’ll get more than just a few cheeky glances.” She said, winking.

I rolled my eyes, but gave into her pressure, slipping up the small dress wearing nothing but dark red underwear beneath.

“We look good.” She said, I agreed, nodding along with her.

“Great, even.” I added.

My hair, once again, sat high atop my head, my makeup still natural, but with a hint of flare.

“Let’s go.”

The party music was booming, we heard the rumble from atop the stairs. Some couples were getting a head start already, pushing each other up against their bedroom doors, making out vigorously.

“Bet ten galleons you’ll fuck Sirius tonight.”

“I won’t so, you’re on.”

“You will.” Was all she said and we began to strut towards the compacted crowd.

The moment I stepped foot on the floor seemed all the attention in the room was on me. Guys were ogling over me, girls were slapping their men on the arms so they’d pay attention to them, yet I could careless. I had one person on my mind, I had one person I wanted to impress.

I saw him with James and Remus and a few other guys from our house horsing around with one another. They all had drinks in their hands and seemed a little buzzed. I looked down quickly, checking my dress to make sure I looked alright, that there were no wrinkles. Why did I care so much? Maybe Lily was right, maybe I did like him, maybe I just couldn’t accept it.

When I looked back up he was already staring at me, his mouth watering. His eyes met mine, intensely. He stared into them for a good five seconds before they started travelling down, lower and lower. The guys around him began to notice.

“Sirius?” Remus shouted to him. “Are you alrigh-”

And that’s when the others caught on, when they all got sight of me. Something about this dress was illuminating, it made me stand out against everyone in the crowd. Sirius finally took a sip of his drink, still staring at me. He chugged it all down, placing it on a table next to him, and waltzing over to me.

“Fancy seeing you here t’night, you look ravishing.” He said wrapping his arm around my waist pulling me into him, whispering the last part of the sentence into my ear.

“Thank you.” I gulped, barely being able to speak, my stomach erupting with butterflies.

“Well,” James said, Sirius still gazing into my eyes. “Let’s get this party started.”

One shot, lime, two shots, lime, three shots, lime. Apparently I liked tequila.

My vision began to lighten as the liquor in my stomach began to churn, cooking up a spell. Sirius stood behind me, his hand around my front, he held a  lime in his mouth and each time I downed another i’d turn around and suck the juice out of it, making sure to look him right in the eyes.

“Sirius, Y/N!” Lily slurred, her pupils insanely dilated.

“Evans!” I yelled. “What the hell are you on!”

“Molly… or maybe it was acid, either way come upstairs with us!” She yelled back, undeniably fucked up.

“Upstairs? The party is down here!” I shouted back, making sure she heard me over the music.

“Yeah but upstairs I have two bottles of Jack Daniels with our names on it.” She said with a sly smile, biting down on her tongue with her teeth.

I looked up at Sirius who was already looking down at me. We both nodded to each other and followed Lily, James, Remus, Peter and two other guys up the stairs to our dorm room.

“Whiskey for everyone!” Lily yelled, us all stumbling into the room after her, everyone giggling back and forth to one another over our drunken states.

She pulled out eight shot glasses and placed them all upside down on the floor, Remus rolled a blunt and placed it down next to them, while Peter peppered a few psychedelics here and there.

“Let’s play a game!” She squealed, pulling us all down to the floor, Sirius pulling me into his lap, he didn’t like the hungry looks every guy was giving me.

“Truth or dare,” James said. “The game for the brave and the… weak.”

He proceeded then to go over the rules of the game, saying that if you refused a truth or a dare you had one of three options; take a shot, hit the blunt, or take a psychedelic, and if you had already chose one, the next time you’d have to pick another.

We were an hour into the game, but still barely made a dent into it. Remus and Peter were stoned out of their minds, Lily and I well, let’s just say we drank a little more than anticipated, and everyone had officially taken at least one psychedelic.

“Lily, Y/N,” One of the other guys with us murmured. “Truth or dare?”

“Both of us?” I asked, slurring my words.

“Both of you.”

“Isn’t that like, against the rules?”

“Nope,” He said, popping the P. “So what’ll it be?”

I was about to speak before Lily answered for me.

“Dare.” Lily said suddenly, a devilish gleam In her eye.

The guy started laughing, and whispered something into one of the other guys ears.

“Strip.” Was all he said, leaning back on his hands.

Since I was far from sober, the phrase was almost like music to my ears, but a clarifying sobriety deep down was yelling at me, telling me not to do it.

“You’re not too pussy are you?” He asked.

Me and lily looked to one another, raising our eyebrows.

“M’not too pussy, maybe Y/N, but not me.” Lily slurred, standing up all wobbly.

“Well, I said both of you, so strip or pick.” He said, the word pick referring to the drugs.

“This isn’t fair,” I whined. “You lads will take advantage of us!”

“Advantage?” The bloke questioned. “Never in a million years.”

I looked down to Sirius who seemed rather annoyed, jealous the other boys could see me… exposed.

“Or,” The boy called. “Give me and… Remus a lap dance.”

“What?” Remus asked, the statement sending him quickly back into reality.

“You heard me Moony. I mean if you don’t want to I bet there’s someone who’s far more anxious to take your place.”

I looked to Sirius who was watching me like a hawk, he looked like he wanted to kill the guy who had dared me, his blood boiling and pumping through his veins.

“I’ll do it,” Sirius said all of the sudden, loud and stern, his jaw clenching. “Give me the lap dance.”

He stood up swiftly, his hand grasping onto my upper arm, a tight lock on it.

“And slip into something more… comfortable.”

Me and Lily disappeared into the bathroom, pulling two select pieces from our wardrobe. James was pass out drunk, he slept soundly on the wooden floor so Lily had no choice but give one of the others a lap dance. We were both still under the influence, completely hammered, so I left on my dark red underwear but slipped a bra over my breasts and a silk teddy over the top as well.

“C’mon ladies,” He called. “Don’t keep us waiting.”

We both sauntered out, Lily’s hips swaying much more than mine. The sudden exposure of my skin making an uncomfortable feeling erupt from within me, my hands instinctively wrapping around my chest.

“C’mon, don’t be shy.”

I dropped my hands walking right towards Sirius, an angry look still plastered on his face.

“Merlin…” I heard a boy call.

I looked over to my right and Lily had already began to dance. Getting low to the ground, swaying her hips, rubbing up on all the guys around her. I saw Remus scoot backwards, undeniably uncomfortable, yet he still watched from afar, a strange sight it was indeed.

I straddled Sirius, my legs wrapping around his lap, sinking down onto his crotch. His hands never touched me, they just held him up from behind, his eyes looking into mine then down my body quizzically.

“This feels so, familiar.” He stated, trying to sound calm but still I heard the rage spitting through his teeth. He really didn’t like the looks they were all giving me.

“Familiar?” I asked, acting like I had no clue to what he was referring to, watching him try to figure out what about this was so strange.

But I knew, I knew the feeling, a feeling I’ve been trying to shake ever since it happened, no matter how badly I didn’t want to. He was remembering the time we spent together, that I prayed so dearly he’d forget.

Suddenly I was being lifted off Sirius lap and placed into someone elses, their hands gripping roughly to my hips.

“If you’re not going to do anything to her I sure as bloody hell will!” One of the boys from earlier squawked.

He looked at me with a distinct hunger in his eyes, he was devouring me with them. He started moving me up and down onto his crotch, trying to get some friction between the two of us. This is not how I wanted it, this wasn’t how I wanted any of this to be. Suddenly I heard a thud and a shuffling of feet and once again I was being yanked off someone else’s lap. Sirius threw me off to the side, and yanked up the kid who pulled me into his lap by his collar.

“Who the hell do you think you are, mate?” Sirius yelled. “You think you can bloody treat a woman like that, my woman?”

The guy was petrified, looking at Sirius then back to me.

“D-didn’t know she was yours, mate!” He squealed while falling back down onto the floor with a thud.

And for the last time Sirius yanked me up, throwing me over his shoulder, and pulled me into the bathroom. I was pushed harshly against the door, smacking my head a tad on the wood. I felt Sirius’ hands wrap around my waist, one of them also holding me up under my bum. He rested his head on my chest and stayed quiet, my hand landed in his hair, playing with it.

“Sirius?” I asked looking down at him sleepily, watching his chest heave up and down.

“Hmm?” He asked.

“Didn’t know I was yours…” I said playfully, biting my lip, a small smile sweeping up onto my face.

He smiled into my skin, I felt the stretching of his lips against my chest,a low rumble escaping them.

“You aren’t really… s’just like you is all… got a tad jealous.”

“A tad?” I asked, pulling his chin up so he looked at me, he tried to hold back a smile on his face.

We were startled by Lily’s playful squealing coming from my room, and the sound of pounding music being turned up. We looked back to one another and began to laugh and he set me back down on my feet.

“You’re drunk.” He said laughing.

“So are you!” I yelled back, poking his chest.

“Yeah but I wasn’t the one who almost gave four different guys a lapdance.”

“You’re just jealous.” I said, sticking my nose up in the air, walking away from him.

“Oi!” He yelled. “Of what?”

“You wanted one, a lap dance.”

“Did I now?” He asked, testing me. “How are you so sure?”

“Well for starters I saw your dick jump out of your pants when I walked out of the bathro-” I couldn’t even finish my sentence before he cut me off, tackling me to the ground.

“We won speak of this!” He yelled playfully, pushing his hand over my mouth.

And suddenly we were in the position again, me straddling him, my crotch coming close and closer to his. He looked down at me on his lap, one of his eyebrows raising, then looked back up at my outfit. I kept my eyes on his, watching him as I lowered myself a top his pants, pressing down hard.

“Y/N,” He moaned, his head falling back. “You’re drunk.”

“Doesn’t mean I don’t know what I want.” I said back.

And with that sentence he latched on tightly to my hips as I began to grind harder and harder onto his erection. My hands flying back into his hair, my fingers tangling themselves within the strands.

I turned around swiftly, trying to synchronize my moves to the beat of the music. I began to pull my teddy down, strap by strap, making sure to give him a show. He sat there, leant back, watching me with a glaze over his eyes. I dropped the pink silk to the floor, becoming exposed to him like I was that one time.

I bent over infront of his face, then sat down on him backwards, his hands massaging hard into the skin of my ass. I moved my bum into the crotch of his jeans again, enjoying the sound of his breathless moans escaping from his lips.

I pushed him down on his back sitting down on his stomach and leant down to kiss him. Our lips pushing into each other roughly. There was a definite need there. I heard him whimper as I bit down on his bottom lip, pulling on the now pinkened skin.

I began to scooch my crotch lower and lower until I was perched on his cock again, grinding hard down onto it. I began to dry hump him, suddenly feeling the pleasure from my side. To make the friction much greater, Sirius pushed himself up on his hand, rubbing himself into as I was to him.

His mouth was wide open, attaching to my neck from time to time. I rubbed vigorously into him, the material of my panties beginning to bunch up onto one side. I could tell he was getting close, the sound of my moans filling his ears and a sudden wetness now covering his clothed cock. Then I watched as his eyes rolled into the back of his head and he let out a throaty district  moan, saying my name softly as he came. I too, trying my hardest still to reach my desired place, and within no time I was there, a moaning mess just like him.

He fell back onto the floor and I feel on top of his, my ear to his chest listening to the pounding of his heart and the shortness in his breath.

“Hot damn,” He said. “I don’t think I’ve ever came so hard in my life.”

The room was now empty, no sounds of music, no more squealing. Lily had finally laid her head to rest that night, Remus tucking her in after she got a little too crazy with that one boy from their house. Her soft snores were the only thing filling the room, well, that and the sound of Sirius whispering to Y/N, goodnight.

She slipped into bed as well, looking up to him as he placed a chaste kiss to her forehead, praising her once again for the beautiful work she had done that night. He walked out of the room, a small smiled placed across his face as he hopped quietly back to his dorm.

When he entered he sat down on his bed, laughing at James sprawled out on the floor, Peter looking practically dead, and Remus asleep as snug as a bug under his covers. Sirius peered over to his bedside table, looking at the family photo which sat gloomily next to him. Not a hint of a smile coming from any of their faces in the picture. He picked it up, getting a closer look at his brother whom he envied so deeply, but wanted to love so bad. The green surrounding the picture frame seemed to look so obscure next to the red lace panties that were sitting behind it.

Red lace panties.

Only then was it when Sirius realized everything he seemed to forget.

“I’m dead dear, not stupid.”

Pairing: James March x Reader

Your shift working at the concierge desk was almost over. The man checking in was good looking and not to mention, very kind to you as well. Yes, you’re married to James, but it didn’t hurt to look, just as long as you kept it at that.

“And what’s your name, beautiful?” The man asked with a sweet smile while rubbing his chin.

You smiled back. But hey, you weren’t flirting, the man was just asking a simple question. There’s nothing wrong with that. “Y/N.” You turned around to hand him a key to his room, then continued, “Yours?”

“Matthew.” He replied, taking his key gently from your hand.

Suddenly, from the corner of your eye, you saw a figure from upstairs by the railing, which caused you to look. To your surprise, it was your husband, James, just standing there wearing his striped suit and hat, leaning on his cane, staring at you.

You didn’t want him to get to you, so you quickly looked away and looked back at Matthew. “Well Matthew, it was very nice to meet you. I hope you enjoy your stay. Give us a ring if there’s anything that you need.”

“Of course. Well, don’t work too hard gorgeous.” Matthew grabbed his small suitcase from the floor, then made his way to the elevator.

You looked back to where James stood, only to see that his figure was gone. So you just rolled your eyes because you knew exactly what you were in for later. James always was the jealous type. You were used to it by now, so instead of stressing about it, you just went back to organizing your area and waited for Iris to arrive for her shift.

It wasn’t long until she arrived.

Iris arrived through the front door, you could hear the LA traffic before the door closed behind her. She looked very refreshed.

“Somebody looks like she’s in a good mood. Where did you go?” You asked curiously.

“Ramona & I just had a nice meal.” Iris replied, putting her hands on her belly as she made her way behind the concierge desk to take your place. You knew exactly what she meant by meal as in human blood.

To your disgust, you responded with sticking your tongue out and pointing a finger to it which made Iris giggle a little.

“Hey doll.” Out of the blue comes Liz. Standing across from the desk, she raises a brow and rests a hand on his, quickly tapping her fingernails on it one by one. “I have a message for you.” She emphasizes the word ‘you’ pretty well.

“What’s up, Liz?” You asked while twirling your fingers through your hair, looking confused.

“James said to meet you for dinner in 20 minutes. The usual room.”

“Great.” You said sarcastically. There’s nothing you’re dreading more than seeing James right now. You love your husband, you really do, but you just weren’t in the mood today for his nonsense. Dragging your feet, you grabbed your cell phone and keys, then slowly made your way to the elevator towards your bedroom.

The first thing you did upon entering your room was throw your phone and keys on the bed. You sighed, then went inside your closet, running your fingers through your clothes until you found an outfit to wear for tonight’s awkward dinner. Finally, you decided to throw on black leggings, a loose black top, a black blazer and black Christian Louboutin heels. You kept your hair down in loose curls and quickly touched up your makeup. Even though this dinner is the last thing you wanted to do today, you cared enough to at least look decent for James.

You hummed a tune to your favorite song while walking down the dim, silent halls until you reached the designated room. 1920′s Jazz music from the record player quietly leaked through the door. You knocked before opening the unlocked door to somewhat announce your arrival.

“And who might this be?” James asked, staying seated in his chair.

“It’s me.” You announced once you were in his view.

“Ah yes.” The way James said it sounded rather irritable.

Once you sat down in your seat across from James, that’s when Miss Evers comes to fill his glass. He was basically waiting for you arrive before starting on drinking, no matter how long he had to wait. While Miss Evers was pouring James’ glass, he was looking directly at you with a stern look on his face, moving his hand left and right for her to keep pouring, then quickly put his hand up for her to stop and leave him be.

He didn’t scare you though, so you just sat there, staring back at him with a straight look on your face.

For the first few minutes, you both just sat there in silence. Eventually, you got annoyed with the continuous stares without a word coming out of James’ mouth. You took a sip of your wine and held the glass in your hand. “Okay seriously James. Enough. What?”

James took in a deep breath before finally getting his word out to respond, “I imagine you are aware as to why I sent Liz to notify you about our small arrangement?”

“Yeah yeah yeah. And?” Finally, Miss Evers served your dinner which you were pretty excited about because you were starving, so you set the napkin cloth on your lap and started on your meal.

James, on the other hand, didn’t touch his food. I mean, he’s a ghost anyways so it doesn’t even matter. “You should feel lucky I spared that man’s life since business has been slow this past month.”

“Spared his life? What are you…What do you mean? He wasn’t even doing anything. He was just being friendly.” You lied. Matthew was flirting a little, but you didn’t want the truth to come out of your mouth, so you just continued to deny James’ assumption.

“I’m dead dear, not stupid.” James glared at you, then took another sip of his bourbon filled glass.

You’re not going to lie though, what James just said to you was by far the best comeback he’s ever had. A huge part of you wanted to burst out laughing, but you didn’t want to give in just yet, so you kept your little poker face on for now.

Since a word didn’t come out of your mouth, James continued, “May I remind you that you are mine. Do not let this happen again.”

“Okay, yeah. Fine. Whatever.” You didn’t agree with James, but you did so anyways or else this will go on forever. James will always be the overprotective and jealous husband. It was the Scorpio in him.

James felt some sort of relief, so he finally started on his dinner. “Now. If this shall happen again, see to it that I will torture a man and tie you to a chair to watch.”

“You’ve really outdone yourself.” If James just kept his mouth shut after you surrendered, everything would be just peachy. But he just HAD to add on. So instead of sitting there any longer, you got out of your seat, darting towards the door, with your arms straight down, with both hands in a fist.

“That’s enough!” James immediately followed after you, grabbing at your left wrist to face your body towards him, then grabbed at your shoulders and pushed you against a wall. Miss Evers was coming in through the back with a cart of dessert, but once she saw James in a rage, she hurriedly walked back out.

James put both of his hands on the wall, leveled with your ears, then punched the wall once with his right fist. “I’ve grown tired of your attitude, Y/N! I provide for you anything you need and more! And I ask for nothing but your love and undying loyalty!”

“Okay, James. I get it.” You whispered, sounding understanding. It surprised James a little because for almost this entire dinner, you stuck with nothing but a stubborn attitude. To a normal girlfriend, having their boyfriend freak out like that would’ve scared them. But you weren’t scared of James. Not one bit. But you could see it in his eyes that you hurt him. You may not be as jealous as he is, which will take more time to get used to, but that’s okay because you have all the time in the world to get used to it. And someday, you’ll even have all of eternity to.

James glared at his arms and hands, which have been covered with a jacket and a glove every time he encountered you. Even when it was bright out and the sun hit his body, he kept it on. You never noticed.

It felt like yesterday when you received an urgent call from your mother, asking if you were alright. She had been praying that you were safe as she dialed your number into her phone. When you picked up, she sighed, happy that you picked up her call. The Winter Soldier was a few miles away from your home and there were a few reported deaths. You were oblivious to the situation until your mother informed you. Once she told you, you turned on the news. Luckily, he never went by your apartment, but at that moment, you immediately shut your blinds and locked everything. You even kept a kitchen knife by your side because that was the only thing that could protect you. What did the Winter Soldier have to do with James’s speed?

Stupid Sparks

AN: After watching supergirl I couldn’t get this out of my head. This is separate from my Supermom series.

Words: 1323

There are super villains out there who would beg for this moment; to have Supergirl at their mercy, begging for their help. You however, you would do anything to be about a thousand miles away from her at this moment. You love Kara, you really do. She’s your best friend, and you’d do anything for her. Well… almost anything. “I don’t do blind dates.”

“Please Y/N. Please. He’s distraught about the breakup. And he needs to get back out there, and you…”

        “What about me?”

She winces, “Well, you haven’t been out on a date in over a year.”

You frown, “I’ve been busy. I got that promotion at work, and you know Lew is an attention hog.”

        Kara’s face goes into a deadpan, “He’s a dog.”

        “He’s my baby,” You defend.

You pause the conversation as the waitress brings your food. When she’s gone you ask, “What about Alex? She hasn’t dated in a while.”

Kara just shakes her head, “Clark and Alex don’t really get along. It’s a tug of war situation.”

        “Blood vs. Nurture?”

She just nods, “Yeah, pretty much. Anyways, please. For me.”

Taking a deep breath, you lean back into your chair and stare at your best friend. You’d known Kara since you were eighteen. You’d been college roommates for four years, and another two after that. She knew your every secret, just like you knew hers. You’d known about her powers since she had shielded you in a car crash three months into sophomore year.

“I won’t deal with mopey, and if he talks about how great Lois Lane is, I am out of there, and you’ll owe me breakfast for a year.”

Kara just squeals, “Thank you, thank you so much. It’ll be fun, I promise. James and I will be there with you two, the entire time.”

You just sigh, “A double date, a blind date, and first date all rolled up in one. You owe me big time.”

She just smiles and says, “I really do.”

Three days later you find yourself nervously waiting in a restaurant next to Kara. You’d never been the best at dating. You’d always found it awkward, trying to determine if you’re compatible with someone through a conversation. Looking for some sort of spark. To do so while your very in love best friend and her boyfriend made goo goo eyes at each other, was going to make it even worse.

You’re midway through thinking up an excuse when Kara squeals. It’s high-pitched, and you’re nearly convinced she’s broken your eardrum, when she bolts out of her seat, and launches herself across the restaurant, and into the arms of a man you’d only seen in pictures.

Clark Kent was a good looking man. There was no denying that fact.

And from what you’d heard he was a really good guy. Dedicated. Loyal. Protective. Just like your dog. Sitting up a bit straighter in your seat you watch as Kara moves from Clark to James. You can’t help but smile as they make dopey in love eyes at each other before finally kissing.

As the kiss grows into something more you turn away, feeling as though you’d intruded on a private moment.

“I’m torn between being incredibly happy for Kara, or ripping Jimmy’s arms off for sticking his tongue down my baby cousin’s throat.”

Turning to face the voice, you stare at one Clark Kent. He’s taller than you thought, and as he slides into the seat across from you, you can’t help but beat back a blush.

Clearing your throat, you ask, “Isn’t she technically older than you?”

        He smiles and shrugs, “Details.”

Glancing back at them you wince, they’re mid make out session. “I shouldn’t turn around should I?”

You smile at him, “Not if you want James to keep his arms.”

Clark just smiles back at you, “I’m starting to think we should leave them alone.”

You smile, “They haven’t seen each other in over a week, that might be smart.”

“Is there another way out of here?”

You just smile and say, “Follow me.”

You end up on the street outside of the restaurant. “So, what’s good to eat around here.”

You smile, “That depends, are you picky?”

“Not particularly. With how much I have to eat, I like to keep my options open.”

        “Mongolian BBQ?”

        “That sounds amazing.”

You end up at a local place you know. It’s small, and more intimate that you would have liked, but the food is simply amazing. Somewhat surprisingly, you end up having a good time.

“So what kind of dog is he?”

You swallow your bite of food first. “He’s a Goldendoodle. He’s three years old, and he’s my baby. Sorry, that sounds weird.”

Clark just smiles, “Not at all. I’m the same way with Krypto.”

        “Krypto?”

“Krypton’s equivalent to a dog. Basically, he’s Superdog.”

You smirk, “Does he go around and save the animal kingdom?”

Clark smirks right back, “Only if he wants a treat.”

You can’t help but laugh. After the laughter dies down, you admit, “I’m having a much better time than I thought I would.”

Clark leans back in his chair, “Let me guess, Kara made me sound all pathetic.”

        You shrug, “Maybe, a little.”

He smiles, “I’m going to contribute that to concern. Lois and I both knew it was ending. We’ve been off and on for years, and she ended up getting an amazing job offer, and we both agreed that it was too good to pass up.”

Your smile fades a bit, “Why didn’t you go with her?”

        “Metropolis needs me.”

“That’s a lonely way to live. Putting an entire city of people before yourself. Ending a relationship that you were in for so long.”

His face goes serious for a minute. “Not exactly. I think, that if it were true love, and she was truly the one, I would have been willing to follow her. Or at the very least, ask her to stay. I loved Lois, some part of me still does. But I don’t think I’ve been in love with her for a while now.”

After a moment of silence, he clears his throat, “Sorry. The mopey reflection of my ex is now over.”

        You smile, “No. It’s okay.”

Clark insists on paying for the food. You insist on at least leaving the tip. You’ve just stepped onto the street when your phone starts to ring. Shooting an apologetic smile at Clark, you pick up.

“He can’t come back to my place.”

Your brow knits together for a minute, before you’re able to identify the voice. “Kara?”

“Yes. Look Clark was supposed to stay at my place while he was in town, but James is here, and we’re…”

“I don’t need details.” You glance at Clark, who’s grimacing, “And neither does your cousin.” Clark throws you a grateful smile.

“Can he stay with you? In your guest bedroom?”

You glance at Clark, and have to hold back a smile. His cheeks have gone a bit red, and he looks more than a little embarrassed. “Sure Kara.”

“Thank you, thank you, thank you. I’ll pick him up in the morning.”

        “Sure thing.”

Pressing the end button, you simply shrug and say, “Looks like you’ll be staying with me.”

He clears his throat, “Are you sure? I don’t want to put you out, and I could always get a hotel.”

“It’s fine, honest. Just a warning though, Lew likes to give kisses. Especially when waking people up early in the morning.”

Clark just laughs, and then holds out his arm. The gesture stuns you for a minute, before you hesitantly take it. The night has been more along the lines of hanging out than a date. You’d slipped into casual mode without even realizing it.

But as you take his arm, and Clark places his hand on top of yours, you feel those stupid, wonderful, sparks.

MASTERLIST

“Hey, doll?” Bucky calls as he walks to the couch and plops down next to you, his muscular arm around your frame and pulling you closer to him. You close your book and look at the object in his hands: your notebook. Your smut notebook.

Your eyes open wide. “Where did you get that?”

“I was in my bag and I’ve never see it,” he shrugs. Then looks at you, his pupils blown and licks his lips slowly. “There are some pretty interesting things here, doll.”

“You think?”

His left hand comes to your waist. His fingers caress you through your clothing, but not even the fabric can keep the cold sensation from you.

“Mmhm,” Bucky nods. He dips his head to bury his face in your neck. His hot breath sends shivers all over your body and you let out a sigh. He places an open-mouthed kiss on the sensitive skin behind your left ear. “In fact,” his voice is low and husky, your stomach flips at the sound, “If you want,” he kisses your jaw, “We can,” he kisses the top of your neck, “Try some things,” he kisses your throat, “You wrote,” then he kisses your right shoulder. His lips decent in a wet trail to the valley between your breasts.

You hiss as his hot tongue darts out to lick a firm trail on your right breast, damn too near your nipple, but purposely keeping his distance from it. Only to drive you crazy.

“I’d love that.”

It is all you had to say before his hands travel through your body, an arm around your back and the other behind your knees. Bucky raises from the couch, a grin on his lips. You smile back and wrap your arms around his neck. He walks soundly to the bedroom, where he stops at the center and sets you down, and not letting go of you. Bucky clings to your waist, not letting your body away more than the necessary for you to talk looking into each other’s eyes. He extends his hand, asking for your notebook. You place it on his open palm.

Bucky opens the notebook, but you take it back before he can start reading.

“I’ll choose.”

He grins, his other arm circling your waist again, “Please do, doll.”

You don’t hesitate. You know exactly which smutty fanfic you want to become real.

You take your time to find the right page though, your fingers lingering on each page you touch, your tongue licking your lips that were partly open. When Bucky’s own tongue wets his lips, your knee creeps up, touching the inside of his thighs.

Bucky closes his eyes and inhales sharply. He growls, “[Y/n], have your found the page yet?”

“Humm,” you touch your fingertips with your tongue and flip to the next page, his pupils covers almost all the blue of his irises. “Here,” you hand it to him.

He detangles one hand from you, takes the notebook and reads. “He lays me down on the bed, my head rests on his pillow as he slowly removes my clothes.” Bucky smiles at you and, even though your cheeks have a little blush from the situation, you smile back. He places the notebook on the headboard.

“I have my instructions, doll. Now relax.”

Bucky gently pushes your back until your knees hit the mattress. With both hands on your back, Buck helps you lay down. He places his pillow under your head. His palms roam your skin from your jaw down your waist until he reaches your ankles, where he rests his left hand as the other reaches for the book. You sigh happily. Perhaps this wouldn’t be as uncomfortable as you initially thought.

He removes your shoes and socks, giving each foot a quick rub before setting them on the mattress again. His hands inch up to the hem of your pants, where he works on the button and slid it down your legs, his lips breathing a hot line right after his metal hand.

Bucky is on top of you, shirtless now, with his hands – cold and warm - pushing your shirt up. The sudden and constant difference of temperature draw a moan from your mouth. He uses the strong muscles in his arms to lower his torso to breathe a chuckle in your unclad lower stomach. He rises and continues his work, your raise your arms to help him.

As your bra has a frontal clasp, there is no problem. He takes if off you and tosses it over his shoulder. Bucky caresses your breasts with his fingers, his thumbs quickly massaging your hard nipples and you squirm for a moment. Once again, his palms traces your body from top to bottom, but this time, his mouth places open-mouthed kisses right after his hands. Your eyes close and you sigh again.

He reads, “Once his steel eyes focused on my naked body, his hands separate my legs and he plays like only he knows with my pussy. Doll, prepare yourself.”

You don’t have time to before he lowers himself to your center, depart your thighs with his hands, placing them on his shoulders, your knees lightly bent, and his teeth graze over your core before nipping at them. His hands stroke your smooth skin wherever it can find. He doesn’t warn you before his tongue licks a thick stripe from your opening to your clit.

His long hair tickles your lower stomach, goosebumps tingling all over your body. His tongue starts bouncing your clit, his tongue playing with it.

Your back arches and your hands grab a hold of the sheets.

“Bucky,” you whimper, breathing hard, eyes closing.

His mouth parts from you so he could say, “Read something, doll.”

You scramble through the sheets to found the notebook, opening it at a random page with a yellow sticker (which were your favorites).

His thumb goes up to my breast,” you wheeze, “his thumb finding the swollen nipple almost instantly. He keeps sucking and using his tongue on my bundle of nerves.”

His warm hand does as told, making you mumble. “James.”

He groans, “Doll, your time to read.”

“What?”

Bucky reaches into the drawer in his nightstand and takes a leather-covered notebook from it. He arches one eyebrow while a sly smile dances on his lips, “You think you’re the only one who writes?”

You hurriedly get it from his hands and open. Your eyes widen. You thought you wrote a lot, but boy, does he have more written fanfics than you do.

“Choose one,” he moans, his mouth kissing down your legs.

You glance over page by page, scamming the words quickly, trying to find one that pleases you. It is so hard to choose, perhaps because they’re so good, and detailed, perhaps because you want to make them all true, and Bucky’s touches on your core with his narrow fingers are not helping you focus. At. All.

So you settle on the last one. Your eyes blurry for a second as he sucks a breath on your clit, and you squirm as his tongue spreads your wetness around you.

She moans as I squeeze her thigs with one hand as the other goes under her leg to hold her stomach. She can’t stop squirming,” you breathe, “Are you a psychic or something?”

Bucky lets out a chuckle, his hot breath tickling your folds. Your feet curl as your back arches once again. His human hand goes under your leg and his hand keeps you still by pressing firmly and gently on your stomach. His metal hand squeezes and caresses your thigh, pressing a certain spot behind your knee. The cold sensation on burning hot skin make you writhe beneath him.

He moans into you and you cry his name, intertwining your fingers into his shaggy hair, pulling at it lightly.

His tongue trails back to your clit, circling around it. Then he moves lower and thrusts into you slowly. His hands firlmy pressing your breast and thigh, his mouth devouring you… It takes no time for you to come undone. His hands travel to your hips, keeping you still as you squiggle.

When Bucky looks up, he decides he is blessed by such a vision. Your eyes are closed tightly, your hair all over the – his – pillow, your chest moving wildly as you breath hard, your breast jumping as you tremble with the overwhelming sensation his touches provide. A sheen of sweat covers your skin, mixing with his own. You are the most beautiful thing he has ever seen.

Once your climax dies down, you glance at the screen in your phone, pressing the home button to light the screen up. 00:03.

“Hey, Buck?” you call, your voice hoarse, as your fingers card his long hair.

Bucky closes his eyes and hums in acknowledgement.

“Happy birthday.”

His smile stretches across his face, “Thank you for my present.”

“There’s plenty more coming, Sergeant.”

“Oh yeah?” he uses his arms to hover over you.

“Bucky,” you plead, opening your eyes, “Fuck me.”

If there is one thing in the world Bucky doesn’t need instructions, besides killing people, is how to make you see stars.

“Can you blokes slow down? My legs are littler than yours!” Y/N called after the four rowdy boys. “You speed up, Mini Moony! We’re gonna miss the train!” Sirius yelled back to her, not slowing down in the slightest. A few sprints later, the five teenagers made it to the train, quickly shuffling into a cart just as it began to move. “Padfoot, if you ever wait until the last minute to pack again, I will personally make sure that the rest of your life is miserable,” Y/N threatened, trying to catch her breath. “We made it, didn’t we?” He smirked, earning a glare from Y/N. “Take It easy, Little Lupin. We got here before it left, and we’re heading heading home for the summer,” James smiled. Y/N grumbled a “whatever” in response and rested her head on her brother’s shoulder.

Just Say the Word (Young Remus Lupin x reader-- SMUT)

A/N: OKAY so this is one of the first few times that i’ve attempted smut and i’m low key proud of it (??) like the ending got a little muddled but i love this idea sm ahhhhhh

word count: 1357
warnings: SMUT, unprotected sex, swearing

It’s the day after the full moon. Your boyfriend, Remus, hasn’t been to any of his classes today and you can’t say you’re surprised. It kills you, though. You’re always nervous the day after. You can’t pay attention to anything. All you can think of is rushing to the hospital wing after potions to see him.

The bell rings and you’re the first one out the door. You’re running as fast as you can manage in the now crowded corridors. You get to the infirmary and look all around, asking Madam Pomfrey if she’d seen Remus today. She had and she sent him back up to his dorm an hour before. You nod and thank her. Now, all you have to do is get back to the Gryffindor common room.

You climb the stairs to the boys’ dorms. You come to his door and exhale. It creaks as you open it, causing him to look up. “Y/N, hey.” He says sleepily. He sounds awful.

You sit on the edge of his bed and look down at him with a sad smile. “Hi.” You examine his face carefully, tilting it toward you. He has a black eye, and a scratch on his collarbone. You just barely trace your fingers over it, frowning. He lets out a quiet hiss. You retract your hand quickly. “Sorry! I’m sorry.”

He shakes his head slightly. “No, no. It’s okay. Just- hurts.” He huffs, reaching to intwine his fingers with your own.

“What did Pomfrey say?” You ask, softly brushing hair out of his face.

“I’ll be fine.” He assures you. “Gonna take a few days till I’m 100 percent, but I’m fine.” He tries to sit up, but ends up whimpering and grabbing his torso. “Really.”

You sigh. “Okay. Shirt off.” You stand up and help him lift his tee over his head. You gasp. His torso is littered with bruises and scrapes. “Oh my God, Remus!”

He bites his lip, wincing. “It’s not as bad as it looks. I p-promise.”

“Shush.” You press your finger to his lips, pushing him flat on his back, before kneeling up on his bed and straddling him. “This okay?”

“Mm.” He grins down at you, sitting lightly on his pelvis. “What’re you doing down there, sweetheart?” He reaches a hand up to cup your cheek. You place your hand on top of his and lean into it.

“I just..” Your eyes close. “I don’t want you to hurt anymore.” You lean down, placing cautious, barely-there kisses on each and every scratch, scar, and purple mark on his chest. “Close your eyes, now.” You coo, sitting up slightly to look at his face.

“Y/N-” He tries to protest.

“Close them.” You give him a bit of a look and he obeys. You carefully press your lips to his bruised eye and all the space around it, before laying one last peck on his nose. “What are we gonna do with you?” You giggle. He opens his eyes. You can taste his breath. He adjusts himself slightly to close the space between your mouths. The longer it goes on, the more intense it gets. Your tongues sloppily connecting and exploring each other’s mouths. A “mouth battle,” as Sirius and James would call it.

Then, you feel it. He’s gotten a bit too excited. You blush and laugh against his lips. “I’m sorry.” He mutters, chuckling as well.

You shake your head. “No, it’s my fault.” You sit up and are about to move off of him when he pulls you back down. He has that look in his big brown eyes, the one he always has when you two were about to get intimate. “Wha- Remus, no. No, you’re hurt. As much as I’d love to-”

“Please, Y/N. Just to distract me from the pain.” He whines.

“Rem, don’t do this.” You frown. “I don’t wanna risk hurting you more.”

He’s determined, though. “Please.” He grabs your hand. You don’t budge. “Please.” He can tell you’re starting to give in as he kisses your knuckles. “Please.” Goddamn it.

“Okay, okay.” You sigh in defeat. He sits up, beaming, ready to trade positions with you when you gently place a hand to his chest, pushing him back down. “Mm-mm. You aren’t moving. M'gonna take care of you, yeah?” You assure him softly. You’re actually incredibly nervous to do this. Your biggest concern is causing him more pain than he’s already in.

You slip off your shirt and toss it haphazardly on the floor, your pants along with it. You look to him. You can tell he senses your uneasiness. “I’m sorry, Y/N. I didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable, I just- I love you and I want you.. And I know that you’d make me feel a lot better. We don’t have to, though.”

“I want to. I’m just afraid that-” You cut yourself off. “Listen, if something goes wrong, hurts you, you have to tell me.”

He nods, his eyes gazing up and down your body as you unclasp your bra. “Stop staring, Moony.” You giggle.

“Sorry.” He smiles. “You’re just- you’re so beautiful.”

You shake your head, trying not to blush. “Okay. Okay.” Your hands are shaking as you slide down his body, removing his sweatpants and boxers in one slow, trembling movement.

“S'alright, love.” Remus watches you and how fidgety you are. “It’s only me.” He reaches for you and you give him your hand.

You take a deep breath. “Yeah. Yeah.” You scoot back up so you’re on his hips. You let him tug at the hem of your panties, before you pull them down completely. You lower yourself onto him, quite slowly. A little more than halfway down, you hear him let out a whimper. “Rem?!” You stop your movements immediately. Your eyes are now fixated on his face, instead of your own thighs. His eyes are closed and his fingers are tangled in his bedsheets.

“No- no. I- it’s fine. You’re just- so- this is good.” He finally manages the words. “Mm.. S'good.” You feel yourself get more excited as you slide down the rest of his length. God, he felt good inside you. You let out a quiet moan. His hands make their way to your hips as you buck them forward gently. “God, Y/N.” His breath hitches as you make your way back up him, your anxieties now having slipped your mind.

After a few go arounds, you feel him thrust into you. You gasp. It felt damn good, but you didn’t want him moving. “Hey, easy.” You lay a hand on his chest, while the other finds his own, still resting on your hip. “Easy.. If you want something, just say the word, babe. Use your words.” You lean down and kiss him roughly.

“Faster.” He murmurs against your lips.

You smirk. “S'all you had to say, love.” And with that, you sit up, quickening your pace.

“Y/N- sweetheart- fuck!” He groans.

The knots in your stomach tighten at his words. “Remus- I-” You grasp for his hands and close your eyes, wanting to let go, so badly. “I can’t.”

“Go on. Go on, I’ve got you. F- fuck.” He spits the words out as quickly as he can. He takes one hand off your waist and brings it to your clit, stroking it vigorously, helping you along. The new sensation sends you over the edge with a shriek of his name. The pure ecstasy has you squeezing his hand and trying to find something else to hold onto. “That’s it, angel- Oh my- Mm- Babe- I-” He’s at a loss for words. You feel him finish. You lean down and bury your face in the crook of his neck. He kisses the top of your head. You’re both panting. “Thank you.” He sighs. You nod in response.

You climb off of him after a minute or two and just lie next to him. You pull a blanket up over the two of you and snuggle into him, careful not to get too clingy. He turns on his side to face you, wincing slightly. “New monthly tradition?” He kisses your nose.

You chuckle, “I’ll think about it.”

Triwizard Tournament First Task: The Marauders

The first time Peter saw them he’d been nervous. His fingers had been twitching up and down the suitcase handle, his beady eyes scanning the train for something–someone–familiar. He settled for the next best thing: two first year boys in a cabin of mahogany and red velvet, where they were quickly joined by another boy that looked just as scared as he felt.

He wasn’t ready. But this was his shot, and he wasn’t going to go it alone.

Being queen of Neverland was surprising in the sense that it actually had responsibilities. One would think being a teenager queen of a made up place that runs on imagination and magic would be just that. But I shared the role of Second in command with Felix, but while the role was shared, I had power over him given to me by Peter. The King of Neverland would have tasks for Felix like rounding up the boys or leading hunts, taking care of visitors to the island. But If Peter left for some reason, I was completely in charge. No one ever questioned me. Except one.

Nicholas.

He would make snide comments about my leadership whenever Peter wasn’t around. It never really bothered me so I didn’t do anything.

But once when Peter had left Neverland to find more boys, Nicholas pissed me off real bad.

I was in the shallow waters of the beach, knee deep, in just a tank top and underwear, sifting through the sand for anything interesting when a shuffling in the trees caught my attention.

I turned and saw Nicholas making his way from the forest to the beach, the look in his face making me uncomfortable.

I saw his eyes trail down my body as my tank was wet and clung to my torso. I stepped back to slightly deeper water and crouched down, hiding my body with the water.

“No need for that princess,” he called with a chuckle. “Oh I’m sorry, Queen”

“What do you want?” i scowled. “I’m not decent right now,”

“I’d say you are but that’s not relevant,” he said as if speaking to himself.

“What do you want?” I asked again.

“Wanted to speak to ya,” he kicked his shoes of and dipped his feet in the foamy waves. “What’s so special about ya anyway? You don’t do anything. Felix is the real second in command. The only reason you have ya silly title is because Pan likes what’s between your legs-”

“Shut your mouth,” I shouted as I stood up. I no longer cared if he eyed me. “I don’t care if my title is illegitimate, I am your superior as of Pan’s choice. I won’t listen to such disgusting talk so shut your mouth and walk away or I will remove your tongue,”

I began walking back to shore, slowly due to the drag of the water.

“You can’t even hold a sword,” he moved in front of me, blocking me from my clothes, with a smirk that sent images of James flashing in my mind. “What makes you think you could hurt me?”

I felt tingling in my palms as my pulse quickened. “I don’t use big weapons like swords, but I can handle knives and bows just fine,”

“Oh really?”he laughed with a sick grin. “Have you been taking secret lessons with Pan or something because you’re never at the training sessions with the boys,”

“Actually I have been taking lessons with him,” A spark of confidence had me smiling. “But he doesn’t teach me to use weapons,”

He looked confused so I demonstrated.

I swirled my hand in a circling motion pointed at the ground. The sand picked up in a tiny tornado around his legs, faster and faster until his pants and feet were completely covered.

“Magic tricks?” he scoffed. “So can swish some sand around, still doesn’t mean you can boss me around,”

He kicked the sand away and pulled his knife from his belt.

“If I slice you up enough and leave your body in the water it’ll look like the mermaids did it,”

“True,” I shrugged. “But that isn’t all he taught me,”

I felt my mouth curl up in the corners. The tingling in my palms returned and I my hand curled around the imaginary grip as I reached into the air between us and lifted Nicholas off the ground.

His face slowly turned red and he grasped at his throat, trying to release my hold on him. His legs kicked about in the air and he gasped and spluttered.

“What was your plan?” I shouted. “To kill me and make it look like the mermaids, yes. It wouldn’t work. But why? What would you gain? Felix is Second in command like you said. Are you jealous because no one likes what’s between your legs?”

I threw him hard into the ground. I released my grip from him but i stood over him and dug my heel into his collarbone.

“How dare you assume you would overpower me!” I pushed an invisible force into his face until his head was buried in sand and he was squirming as he resisted.

“Y/N!” I heard a voice by the trees. My head snapped up at the sound.

It was Felix. he and a few others had made their way to the beach and were pushing their way through the bushes and trees to see the altercation between Nicholas and I.

“Did he…?” Felix’s face turned dark as question ran through his mind. I noticed him acknowledge my attire. “Like James?”

“No,” I said simply, stepping back from Nicholas. He sat up quickly, spluttering and coughing as sand poured off him.

“No,” I said again. “Nicholas only wished to kill me,”

“He what?” a new voice spoke up. I looked to my left, a little ways down the beach stood Peter.

“Oh fuck,” Nicholas gasped, the fear in his voice evident.

Peter vanished from where he stood and reappeared leaning over Nicholas.

“You tried to kill her?” Peter’s voice was so angry, but it didn’t scare me this time.

“He got as far as unsheathing his knife,” I explained. “He made his intentions clear but your lessons have been paying off,”

“You took him down?” Peter looked at me now, the pride in his eyes just poking through the anger.

“She was drowning him in the sand when we found them,” Felix offered.

“What else did you do?” Peter became very curious of my abilities.

“Does that really matter right now?” Nicholas’s voice wavered when he spoke.

“You don’t speak,” Peter’s voice rang in my ears, he didn’t even yell but magic broke through with his hate.

“Felix can you please take him to the cages?” I asked, the politeness surprising even me.

He nodded and he and Orion took Nicholas by his arms and took him away.

“Stupid bitch,” Nicholas spat over his shoulder.

I snapped.

“What did i say about speaking to me like that,” I appeared in front of him, startling Felix and Orion.

I shooed them both away with hand gestures and stepped close enough to Nicholas that I could get in his face.

I waved my hand downward and he was brought to his knees in front of me.

“You speak filth to me, try to kill me and lie about it, then when I spare your life reluctantly, and send you to the cages rather than Hell, you speak to me like that?” I cocked my head to the side in mock confusion.

With a light flick of my hand, the pressure around his throat returned and he again grasped at his neck in search of relief.

I heard a few of the boys mumble between each other but I never took my eyes away from Nicholas.

His cheeks were red and the veins in his forehead were protruding and purple.

By the look of his eyes, he could no longer see. He slumped to the side in his weakness but continued to grab at his throat in vain.

I waved my hand again and there was a loud quick crunch! as his head whipped to the side at and unnatural angle.

I relaxed a little and looked away from his dead body.

Most of the boys had looks of shock on their faces. Felix and the others I was close with showed concern, but when my gaze landed on Peter, I was surprised, and pleased.

He didn’t have a look of fear or worry, but he had his usual smug expression mixed in with that pride from earlier.

I felt my lips curl up into a similar smirk.

I had the sudden need to be away from here, so I followed that instinct and disappeared, reappearing by Peter’s thinking tree.

Cool to hear your prompts are open friend ^^. I loved the mermaid fic by the way it was beautiful. Ummm how bout Winteriron (surprise, surprise) with some oblivious pining even though their Daemons cuddle together. And Sam, Steve, Rhodey and Clint all try to point that out.

A/N: So this is super overdue. Sorry about that. Also, I may have borrowed Poe and Moro from my other Daemon AU story

“Come on, Buck. Just ask him out already.” Steve threw a punch.

Bucky caught the fist and countered. “Do you really need me to explain again in detail why me asking out Tony Stark is a bad idea?”

Steve huffed, blocking Bucky’s counter then jumping as Bucky tried to sweep his legs out from him. “I’m not denying that the history you two have is bad, but look at Poe and Moro.” Steve paused their fighting to nod at the raven and wolf daemons (respectively) nestled together in the corner of the Avengers gym. “I have never seen two daemons cuddle so much. I think it’s safe to say that despite everything, Tony cares about you.”

Steve glanced at the other side of the room were Clint, Sam, and Tony were trading off sparring with each other. Clint and Sam had taken to wrestling each other, while Tony was trying (and failing) to hide that he was watching Bucky.

“And Tony’s checking out your ass right now.”

“What?” Bucky whirled around and stared at his ass then looked up at Tony.

Tony stiffened, but quickly smirked then winked at Bucky.

Pink spread across Bucky’s cheeks, and Bucky quickly spun around to avoid looking at Tony. “You’re imagining things, Steve.”

A pang of disappoint hit Tony in the chest when Bucky looked away.

“Uh-oh. Did Bucky look at you funny again?” Sam asked as he pinned Clint to the mat.

Clint swung his leg and rolled them over so he pinned Sam. “If he looked constipated at all then that just means he was thinking about kissing you, but then felt guilty about it, cause he’s a pining idiot like you.”

“This again?” Tony huffed. He calculated the odds that he could walk out the gym without one of his teammates forcing him back. He had promised to give them an hour of his time and there was still fifteen minutes left. “You two and Rhodey need to stop reading Nicholas Sparks and Danielle Steel.”

“We are at the mercy of the whims of our book club.” Sam grunted and managed to get Clint off him and put him in a headlock. “It also doubles as the When are Barnes and Stark Going to get Their Heads out of Their Asses Club.”

Tony startled as he heard a loud sound across the gym. Bucky was on the ground and flat on his back with Steve standing over him.

Tony’s heart leaped to his throat.

Bucky groaned as he saw stars.

“Jesus! Bucky are you okay?” Steve kneeled down next to him.

Bucky hissed as he pried his eyes open. That’s what he got for listening in on the conversation taking place on the other side of the gym.

James!” Moro sent through their telepathic link and suddenly there was a furry wolf face pressed against his and a tongue lapping at his cheek.

Bucky cringed at Moro’s pungent breath. “Ugh. Moro.” He shoved Moro away and sat up just in time for Tony to run up to him and crouch beside him.

“Did you try to break your best friend in half, Steve?”

Steve sheepishly rubbed the back of his head. “I didn’t think I’d actually land the hit. Bucky usually dodges.”

Tony worriedly ran his hands over Bucky’s skull, searching for any broken bones or skin.

Bucky was a little too preoccupied staring at Poe, who was sitting on his knee, to pay attention to Tony’s worried murmurs.

Bucky closed his eyes and opened them again.

Poe was still there.

Steve’s eyes followed Bucky’s gaze and locked on to the daemon.

Clint and Sam muttered to each other as they joined the rest of the group, only to fall silent when they saw Poe resting on Bucky’s knee.

Tony ran his fingers through Bucky’s hair a few times, taming the locks back into place after he’d sent them askew in his search for a serious injury. “Looks like you’ll just have a bruise, and Steve will need to learn not to assume that everyone is going to dodge his hits. In fact, part of the point of training is….” Tony trailed off as he finally noticed that everyone had gone quiet and why that was.

“Oh,” Tony said, staring at his daemon on Bucky’s knee. “That’s why I feel so tingly. I thought I was just having another panic attack.”

Bucky’s chest swelled with hope. Normally if another person touched one’s daemon, it caused one to feel violated and sometimes even pain. The fact that Tony felt tingly meant that his feelings for Bucky ran deep.

Bucky slipped his arm around Tony’s waist and hugged him. “So would it be too forward of me to ask you out on a date?”

As Bucky’s words sank in, Tony’s smile blossomed like a gorgeous, golden rose. “I’d be disappointed if you didn’t.”
