Dealing with Terrorism

Of all the kinds of violence, particularly religion-motivated terrorism is the most dangerous kind. You can speak reason to a man who is fighting for anything else, but when a man believes he is fighting for his God, there is no reasoning with him. When people are fighting for money, property, or something else, it is possible to negotiate with them because they are life-oriented; but those who think they are fighting for God, or working for God or doing God’s work are only too eager to die and take all of us with them.

The prettiest ships you ever did ship: James Roday & Maggie Lawson

I can’t imagine ‘Psych’ without her, and her inner beauty is even more radiant than the whole package she puts on display in her pantsuits,” Roday said, cheekily referring to her character’s buttoned-up detective attire. “She’s a good egg.”

Really cute interview where Maggie gets asked if Juliet pictures Shawn in his underwear, to which she responds “I don’t really have to imagine” then Roday gets all red. It’s really cute

“For anyone in our industry, one of the toughest things about having a relationship is how much time you get to see each other. The fact that we see each other everyday no matter what has really worked out nicely for us. She’s such a great girl. She makes what I do so much easier and so much more enjoyable."

-James Roday

"I would say that, off the top of my head, Shawn Spencer is an extrovert, I would say Roday is a bit more of an introvert. I will say that, uh, Shawn Spencer is a boy, and I’ll say that Roday is a man. … Is he blushing?”

-Maggie Lawson

Steve Franks said that when he saw James and Maggie making their first scene together in the episode Spelling bee (season 1 episode 2) their chemistry was so great that he knew that not only their characters Shawn and Juliet will end up together on the show, but also James and Maggie in real life. They were attracted to each other since the day that they met but decided to just be friends so they won’t complicate things on the show. By the middle of filming first season, they couldn’t deny their attraction for each other any longer and finally gave in to their desires and started dating. They kept their relationship a secret from fellow cast members until they decided to finally tell them towards the end of filming season 2.

James first spoke publicly about their relationship as early 2007 in an interview he did for People magazine, but people didn’t really start to find out about their relationship until 2009 through a series of interviews and one in particular where they were interviewed together during filming of season 4. In this interview James said: “I have the best girlfriend in the entire world. She is made out of sunshine.” When the interviewer asked Maggie if James had seduced her on set said that there had been seducing on both sides.
