Jackson glared at the small figure slumped on the path in
front of him. You were cutting into his run and he was almost convinced that he
could just abandon you. When you looked up at him, scared out of your mind, he
“You alright?” He asked quickly. “You know where you are?”
You shook your head and brought your legs up to you knees,
giving Jackson a chance to glimpse the cut on your forehead, luring him forward
to subtly check you for any other injures.
“Were you out here with any one?” He sighed when you shook
your head again.
He glared at you for a few minutes before heading back the
way he’d come and rounding his car. He didn’t notice you’d followed him until
he slumped into his car and set his bag on the seat.
Derek sniffed the air and frowned at you. He hadn’t long
turned you and you were acting odd, he should have realised your heat would be
soon, but he hadn’t even told you what to expect. Before he could say anything

When you found you’d forgotten your mobile you glanced up at the woman and
almost begged her to let you use the phone but she glowered at you and you
thought better of it.

You’d grown accustom to Jackson’s constant fretting. He knew

you mumbled about feeling ill.
The only problem with Jackson’s content presence was his
hate for the other wolves. Liam, Mason’s wolf, was slowly becoming friends with
Jackson but any other wolf who got to close would be chased off.
You stayed with Jackson’s family for years, his parents
adored you, treating you like you were royalty. But the longer you stayed the
more worried Jackson became. He thought you were perfect, whether you were reading
or sleeping, anything you did he couldn’t help but watch you and think you were
Which was exactly why he panicked that you might suddenly
want to chase the scattered memories that had slowly come back. There were
still a few black out moments, Melissa wasn’t sure if you’d even fully
remember, which worried Jackson when he realised a few of the lost memories
involved your very persistent ex.
