jack's deadpan

Auction AU Part 2

Here’s the first part  ! I recommend you read it before this part, or else it won’t make much sense.

Sorry this took like, ten million years. Thanks to everyone who messaged me and said they liked the first part, it always made my day <3

The relief only lasted so long once he realized that yes, no more old-leopard-print lady (thank god), but still there’s a date with someone. A stranger.

Jack’s barely held decent conversations with his teammates, how would a date with a stranger work?

    It wouldn’t. No way.

Feeling like he’d just survived a brutal game, Jack took a few seconds to gather himself. He wiped the condensation from his forehead (he really hoped no one had noticed), slowed his breathing, let his jaw unclench. Once his fingers became steady enough he fixed the cuffs of his uncomfortably hot suit.

“Fuck it,” He shucked the jacket off entirely. It felt good until he lifted his arms- “Ugh.”

   Pit stains.

For a moment he struggled with what to do: If I wear the jacket I’m uncomfortable and sweating more, but if I don’t people can see the sweat and thats embarrassing and-

“Jack!” Someone from management tapped his shoulder, “This way, the kid is waiting on stage right.” She gave him a brief once-over, “Put on the jacket.”

With a somewhat relieved nod, he slipped the jacket back on and wished for a calmer heart-beat.

The wish didn’t come true, of course. It rarely did.

They approached the stairs leading off the stage.

This kid must like you. They bid on you. They spent money for a date-thing-whatever with you. Just smile. Act like a normal-

   “Uh, hi.”

You Two Are Adorable

“There you are,” Jack smiles as Joe shuffles in, “How was your nap?”

“Shit.” The older man mumbles, his hands buried deep into the pocket of the hoodie he has on. “When did you all get here?”

“About an hour ago,” Conor replies, glancing up from his phone as Joe walks over to Jack, “Surprised you didn’t hear with how noisy those two were,” He gestures towards Caspar and Oli, who were currently fighting over the controller.

“I didn’t hear anything,” Joe shakes his head, allowing Jack to pull him down onto his lap, quickly tucking his head against the younger man’s chest, “Maybe I actually did get some sleep.”

“Still not feeling good?” Josh asks him, stretched out on part of the couch.

“No, and I’m really over it,” Joe sighs, relaxing against his boyfriends body as Jack runs his fingers up and down his spine absentmindedly, his focus mostly on the computer placed beside him, a video half edited.

“This is why you need to take better care of yourself!” Caspar scolds, suddenly joining the conversation.

Jack snorts lightly, his eyes still on the computer screen, “I tell him that almost daily. You’d think he would listen by now…”

“Shut up, I’m sick.” Joe groans, tugging the hood over his head as he closes his eyes.

“Wait…” Conor trails off, a knowing smile on his lips, “Isn’t that Jack’s?”

“Is what?” Oli looks over at their ill friend, grinning as Joe’s cheeks tinge red.

“That is!” Josh laughs, “That’s Jack’s jumper!”

Glancing down at the man on his lap, Jack smiles softly when he realizes that Joe is indeed wearing one of his hoodies.

“Piss off.” Joe mumbles, his eyes still closed as he turns his face further into Jack’s chest.

“You two are adorable,” Caspar coos, “Wearing each other’s clothes.”

“I buy comfy clothes,” Jack shrugs, closing his laptop, having given up on trying to work, not with the warm body resting against him.

“Does he just wear your stuff when he’s not feeling well?” Conor asks, a teasing glint in his eyes, “Or does he mix up your guys clothes all the time and accidentally leave in one of your shirts?”

He is right here, you know.” Joe snaps weakly, his eyes reopening, “And can hear you.”

“You have to answer, Jack, we need to know.” Josh ignores Joe, staring over at the younger Maynard.

“I never thought they’d be one of those couples,” Oli comments to Caspar, who nods in agreement.

“I hate you all.” Joe states simply, his cheeks deepening in their shade of red, but he makes no move from Jack’s lap.

“They really are quite cute, aren’t they?” Conor sighs dramatically, “Taking care of each other when they’re ill, wearing each other’s clothes…”

“You guys are really mature,” Jack rolls his eyes.

“I wonder if they realize they’re doing all this adorable shit too,” Caspar wonders to the others, also ignoring Jack, “Or do they just do it without thinking?”

“Can we get new friends?” Joe asks his boyfriend, tilting his head back to look up at him.

“As soon as you’re better.” Jack nods.

“What do we do in the mean time?”

“We could kick them out…”

“Or we could just ignore them.” Jack finishes, lifting his other hand to brush Joe’s hair under the hood, adjusting it slightly.

“Come on!” Conor bursts out, “How can we not tease you two about shit like that!?”

“I don’t think we can ignore them,” Joe sighs, resting his head back against Jack, “They like to make themselves known.”

“I know, babe,” Jack drops a kiss on the top of Joe’s head as he wraps his arms around the smaller body, “But do your best.”

“Seriously?” Josh deadpans as Jack looks over at him, “You expect us to just brush that stuff off?”

“Can you at least stop teasing while I’m sick?” Joe tries, his eyes falling close once more, the warmth from Jack lulling him to sleep.

“But you two are exceptionally adorable when one of you is sick…” Caspar points out.

“Some friends you all are,” Jack laughs lightly, glancing down at Joe, smiling when he notices his boyfriend has already drifted off, “And can you be quiet? He’s sleeping.”

“Can we tease him when he wakes up?” Conor asks, causing Jack to roll his eyes at his brother’s behaviour.

“We’re taking that as a yes.” Josh tells him, but still, the boys do quiet down a bit, even turning the volume down for their game.

They weren’t horrible friends after all.

Chapter 29- Wins and Losses

Jack heard the ignition of a car and raced outside to the parking lot to see Doug’s silver range rover skidding out onto the stormy streets of the meadowlands with a spray of rain in his wake, Jack rushed out into the middle of the road drew his pistol and fired six shots quickly at the tires of the SUV but failed to hit his mark. He scrunched up his face for a moment as another bolt of lightning lit up the sky, trying to figure out his next move. He quickly remembered the motocross keys he had in his pocket, he holstered his weapons, grabbed the keys from his pocket and ran to one of the bikes hoping he had straddled the right one, he put the key in the ignition and the engine burst to life. Jack revved the engine before racing off down the rainy street in pursuit of Doug on the sports motorcycle, certain of the fact that if Doug reached the opera house he would most certainly kill Trevor Moon.

The rain lashed against Jack and the bike as he sped down the road weaving between cars and vans to the sounds of horns and rumbling thunder, a lot of spray was being kicked up from the road by the vehicles making visibility poor but lucky for Jack the silver SUV was easy to spot due to erratic driving of assassin. “Savage to base, I am in pursuit of Ramses, suspect has killed Jenkins and is en route to the Meadowlands opera house in a silver range rover plate number 21DJJ87.”

“Jenkins is dead!? Jack where’s the rest of the team?” Skye asked hastily, breaching radio protocol.

Holding Hands

Summary:  Jack loves Bitty, that’s a given. But sometimes his attempts at affection backfire a little, or a lot.

Read it on AO3

Bitty was baking, as usual, when Jack came home from an afternoon practice. Jack was exhausted, and ready to eat and spend the night with his boyfriend. It was still amazing to Jack that he could think of Bitty that way. After going through so much, Jack finally had somebody special all to himself. He was falling in love.

Jack stumbled through the door, throwing his bag down on the floor. He heard the familiar beeping of the oven, and smiled to himself. Jack walked to the kitchen, and sat down at his breakfast bar. Jack knew better than to disturb Bitty while he was baking, even if things were different. He suspected that Bitty wouldn’t mind if Jack distracted Bitty a little by kissing him, or something; but Jack didn’t want to risk it. Bitty seemed so serene, so at home in the kitchen. Jack didn’t want to disturb the peace more than necessary.

Something about oversized sweaters and mugs of warm beverages, everyone loves oversized sweaters.

replace “warm beverages” with “wine straight from the bottle” lol. hope you like it!

Jack wasn’t due back at the apartment for another hour and Bitty was miserable.

Not so much in a codependent, can-only-be-happy-with-my-boyfriend way, but more of a…Jack’s ridiculous floor-ceiling windows were drafty and Bitty was already soaked through from the sleet he’d trudged through getting from his rideshare to the lobby of Jack’s building and he needed his big, unnaturally warm Canadian boyfriend to snuggle his frozen limbs back to life sort of way.

This one was super fun to write too omg I about died. I had fun with toying with David’s perspective!

The school year would have gone a lot smoother if Jack Kelly could stop being the aggressive, sensitive, artistic, romantic, New York, grade A walking piece of boyfriend material that he was.

[RotG] Spread your Wings

I blame @eastofthemoon. Wasn’t originally gonna write fic for this @jackrabbitweek prompt, but…
2844 words, fluff.

“I’ll show you mine if you show me yours.” Bunny commented, giving himself a stretch. Easter was over, now it was time to relax and unwind a bit.

“What?” Jack said, distracted from his very busy task of attempting to balance a flower on his nose. It wasn’t working, but the effort was entertaining nevertheless.

“Wings.” Bunny said succinctly. Spirits, with two known exceptions, had wings. It was the one of the most obvious and identifiable ways to recognize them, thought to be a reflection of the spirit themselves.

You Were Too Hot

“No, Joe! Put me down!” Y/N laughs as Joe wraps his arms around her from behind, lifting her up and walking towards the water.

“Not a chance, love!” He only tightens his grip as she struggles, still laughing as the waves lap at their feet.

“Please, don’t.” She turns her head to look at him, seeing her reflection in his sunglasses.

“Too late.” He replies, a cheeky grin on his face as he swings around, both of them falling into the warm water.

Pushing her now wet out of her face, Y/N glares at her boyfriend as he emerges from the water as well.

“You are so mean!” She splashes water towards him, earning a loud laugh from Joe.

“You were too hot, had to cool you off.” He tells her, splashing her back.

“Gods, that was so cheesy!” Jack calls from the shore.

“It kind of was.” Y/N shrugs, reaching over to steal Joe’s sunglasses, placing them over her own eyes.

“You liked it!” Joe’s voice follows her as she makes her way back to the shore.

“No one liked it, mate.” Conor shakes his head from his spot on the towels.

“So you’re telling me,” Joe stops in front of him, shaking out his hair, “That you wouldn’t say the same thing if you had a girlfriend?”

“Oi! I was trying to sleep!” Oli glares up at Joe, brushing off the water drops that had landed on his skin.

“And you’re blocking my sun.” Conor adds.

“You two are boring.” Joe rolls his eyes, but shuffles out of the way, standing behind Y/N. He wraps his arms around her loosely, resting his chin on her shoulder.

“I you throw me in again…” She starts.

“Don’t worry. I won’t. Right now.”

“Wonderful.” She mutters, but relaxes into his embrace.

“Can I have my sunglasses back?” He asks, squinting at the bright sun.

“Honestly, they look better on her.” Jack laughs.

“Oh, cheers. You were the one who encouraged me to get them!” Joe glares over at him.

“Really?” Y/N asks, “Thanks Jack! I love these!”

“No problem.” Jack grins over at her.

“This isn’t fair.” Joe grumbles, turning his face into her skin. She lets out a small laugh, lifting a hand to run it through his hair.

“You’ll survive. Did you want to play volleyball or something, babe?”

“Then what do you want to do?”

“I don’t know.”

“So helpful.”

“Don’t make me throw you back into the water.”

“Don’t even think about it.” Y/N says, before letting out a small squeal as Joe tightens his grip a bit, as if to carry her back to the water. “Joe!”

“No worries, love.” Joe relaxes his grip, kissing her cheek. “I’ll let you dry off first.”

Jack groans and rolls his eyes, standing as he grabs the football they had brought with them.

“Stop being so bloody adorable. It’s sickening.”

“Jealous?” Joe questions, raising an eyebrow at the other man.

“You have a hot girlfriend, we’re at the beach, and said hot girlfriend is wearing a bikini.” Jack deadpans. “Of course I’m jealous!”

“I knew there was a reason I liked Jack.” Y/N giggles, “He always knows the right things to say.”

“And I’m single.” He replies, winking over at her.

“She’s not.” Joe growls, “And we’ve talked about you flirting with my girlfriend!”

“I’m not flirting!”

“You’re always flirting!”

“That’s only partially true!”

“Jack, you’re always flirting.” Conor tells him, Oli humming in agreement.

“Don’t worry, Joe always gets jealous.” Y/N shrugs.

“No I don’t!” Joe protests.

“You literally just got jealous because Jack called me hot.”

“That wasn’t jealousy.”

“Then what was it?”

“He called you hot. How else would you like me to react?”

“So it was jealousy.” She smirks smugly at him, and he opens and closes his mouth, failing to correct her. “Thought so.”

“Jack’s right though,” Oli comments, “You two are disgustingly adorable.”

“Damn right we are.” She grins, turning her head to kiss Joe fully on the lips, earning groans from the Maynard brothers.

“Can we go play football now?” Jack tosses the ball up, catching it as it falls back down.

“Sounds good to me.” Joe nods, finally separating from Y/N. “Ready to have your ass kicked?”

“You mean, ready to have your ass kicked?” Jack smirks as the two boys move away from where their little group is gathered. Their banter continuing even as they begin to kick the ball back and forth.

Y/N stretches out on a towel beside Conor, who turns his head to raise an eyebrow at her.

“What.” She asks, closing her eyes against the sunlight coming through Joe’s sunglasses.

“It’s just weird seeing Joe be all cute and adorable.”

“It’s because we’re on a beach, away from prying eyes. He’s like this all the time when we’re alone.”

“Really?” Oli lifts his head, looking over at her.

“He’s even more adorable. He just keeps it hidden.” Y/N laughs, lifting the sunglasses to wink at the two boys.

“Oh, this is great information. Cheers, Y/N!” Oli grins, settling back down.

“He’s never going to live this down now.” Conor agrees.

“Don’t tease him too much, you two.” She tells them.

“No promises!” Conor laughs, Oli and her soon joining in.

Snowmen and Snowball Fights

Dec. 14 - Building a snowman (Frozen duets optional)

“You two have an unfair advantage,” Bitty says with a hand on his hip. He’s knee deep in snow and his toes are starting to go numb.

Nursey and Dex are lifting the middle section of their snowman onto the bottom part. Both sections are perfectly shaped and monstrous, already almost taller than Bitty.

“How do you figure?” Dex asks as he packs more snow around the bottom to secure it.

Bitty gestures to himself and Chowder. “We grew up where it never snowed.”

“Weak,” Nursey says as he tosses a snowball towards Bitty and Chowder’s sorry excuse for a snowman. It’s leaning forward and no matter what they do they can’t seem to fix it. “You’ve seen a snowman before right? You get the general concept.”

“There are five dozen sugar cookies in the kitchen right now all frosted like snowmen,” Dex adds as he shoves Nursey to the side so he can smooth out the front. “No excuses.”

It takes them an hour of putting up appearances at the kegster before Bitty and Jack can finally sneak away. As soon as the door is closed behind them, Bitty launches himself at Jack, arms wrapped around his shoulders, hands in his hair, lips pressed against his. Jack responds enthusiastically, sliding his hands down Bitty’s back, grabbing his ass ever so briefly before picking him up by the thighs and turning them so Bitty’s back is pressed to the door.

“I missed you so much, sweetheart,” Bitty says, breaking the kiss so he can look Jack in the eye. “I’m so glad you could come.”

“I wouldn’t miss it for anything,” Jack says, kissing him again. “I wanted to kiss you so badly back in the locker room.”

Bitty laughs, a little breathless and heady since all he can feel is Jack under his hands and all he can taste is Jack’s lips, and all he can smell is Jack’s cologne and he’s actually here and not forty minutes away on the other side of a computer screen and Bitty is so stupid in love with this boy.

“I think the tadpoles had enough excitement just having you there,” Bitty says. “Goodness knows what seeing one of their teammates making out with an NHL player would’ve done to them.”

Jack laughs and kisses the side of his neck. Bitty feels his breath hitch and his heart speed up.

“It’s a good thing you couldn’t come into the locker room when you guys were in Providence,” Jack says.

“Why?” Bitty asks, peppering kisses along Jack’s jaw. Because yes, sure, he actually gets to talk to his boyfriend in person for once, but, well, there are certain things that are much better in person than they are over skype and Bitty fully intends to take advantage of them ASAP.

“Because I would’ve kissed you,” Jack says, kissing him again and pulling him away from the door. Bitty hooks his legs around Jack’s waist while Jack carries him to the bed. Just before they get there, Jack freezes.

“What?” Bitty asks, looking at the frozen expression on Jack’s face. He turns and looks at the bed and feels a flush that has nothing to do with Jack’s hands and mouth creep up his neck. “That wasn’t me.”

“Are you sure?” Jack asks, the corner of his mouth twitching.

Bitty looks at Señor Bun, sitting proudly in the centre of Bitty’s bed wearing a Zimmermann jersey. It’s one thing for Bitty to wear his boyfriend’s jersey to bed to pretend he’s there with him. It’s another to have his childhood stuffed bunny wearing his boyfriend’s jersey.

“Do you think he wants me to sign it?” Jack asks in his deadpan PR monotone.

Bitty groans and buries his face in the crook of Jack’s neck while Jack starts laughing. “Put me down so I can go kill Ransom and Holster.”

Fun Fact about this AU: Jack and Aku were in the same ESL classes. They mostly focused on learning swear words so they could insult each other.

Previous Chapter

Dan flipped through the script Jack had printed out for him. It wasn’t as long as he was expecting- he suspected PJ had cut out the majority of the dialogue to try to tell a story through colours and images- it shouldn’t be too hard to learn. He sat on one of the tables in the Film classroom- his laptop perched beside him, trying to memorize his lines for today over the noise of Jack and PJ discussing shooting orders, and Phil constantly playing annoying beeping sounds to help with the synchronization of audio for Jack and PJ to edit.

Zimbits- literally the fluffiest possible winter cuddling ever + warm blankets and a nice, crackling fire

Special guest appearance by Dad Bob (who I almost misspelled as Dab Dob btw) and Alicia Zimmermann!

Alicia looked up from her spot next to Bob on the couch and snorted. Smiling, she asked, “Need some help, Bitty?”

“No, ma’am, I got this.” Bitty said, dragging the comforter from Jack’s room into the living room.

Jack looked up from his book just as Bitty dropped the comforter on his head. The comforter shifted slightly, as though Jack was trying to look at Bitty, and Jack deadpanned, “Oh no, I’m blind. I’ll never see my sweet southern fiance’s face ever again.”

Bob chuckled as Bitty rolled his eyes. Bitty pulled the blanket off of Jack’s head as Bob said, “It’s not even that cold, I don’t know why you and Alicia are making such a big deal out of it.”

Bitty and Alicia shared a knowing look and a long-suffering sigh. Oh to be southerners in love with Canadians. As Bitty burrowed under the blanket to get to Jack, Alicia said, “We’re southern, Bob. You complain just as much about the heat as we do the cold.”

Jack helped Bitty readjust the blanket and themselves so that they were comfortable then went back to reading his book while running his fingers through Bitty’s hair. Bitty sighed contently and closed his eyes, listening to the sound of the fire crackling and Jack’s heartbeat. Maybe getting snowed in after a blizzard with his fiance and his fiance’s parents wasn’t so bad after all.

part three of the grindr au, based on a fic by @des-zimbits (read it here). sorry this took forever, guys. this part is a little longer at 3k (and I didn’t even get all the way through spring semester. help). rated t for language?

also um content warning for Jack’s internalized homophobia making him act like a real asshole. he sorts his shit out by the end the end of this part, but like. it might be upsetting in places. sorry.

part one. part two.

“So, what was your New Year’s resolution, Bits?” Ransom asks.

Jack knows it’s the traditional just-back-from-Winter-Break question, but he always hates this conversation. His own resolutions are never very interesting, and he hates talking about them. (This year he has two: to improve his shooting percentage by at least 10% in the second half of the season, and to increase his bench press by 50 pounds before the end of the year.) Historically, whenever Jack has told anyone what his New Year’s resolutions are, he’s only met with a frown and a short, “Oh.”

Bittle’s resolutions, on the other hand, will no doubt be terribly interesting and charm the whole team even further. Because that’s just how it goes.

“It was, uh.” Bittle laughs a little, rubbing back of his neck. “It was actually—to be a little less inhibited?”

Before Jack even knows he’s doing, he’s saying, “Less inhibited?”

Jack-O-Lantern Oct 19th

13 days of Halloween

Bitty may or may not be a little drunk.

“Fuck Bits, I thought Dex was the giggly drunk!”

“I resent that, Shitty!”

“Dex, chill.”

“I will end you.”

Bitty may or may not be in hysterics over this little thing he just realized.

“Shitty!” he said, trying to steady himself by holding his teammate’s arm while cradling a carved pumpkin in the other. “No Shitty, you don’t understand! You see, I was just minding my own business. You know me, like how I usually do when I don’t have you boys dragging me around. Or when I’m not dancing. Oh Shitty, dancing is really fun. It so lively! But anyway, that’s completely beside the point because. The point is, that this right here is a Jack-o-lantern!”

“Well, shit Bits, it is. We’ve been carving them for the last two hours. And not to say that I don’t completely support you and your alcohol consumption but, bruh, you don’t usually drink this much outside of kegsters.”

“Lardo was practicing making Jell-O shots! Shitty. Shitty. Jello-O shots! There are so many flavors I was beside myself! Hehe. Lardo was like with her voice, ‘Hey Bits, try this.’ And! Well. It was no skin off my nose. And I had to try all of them, obviously.”

Bitty may or may not beam when he sees that Jack has entered the kitchen.

“Oh, Jack! Jack you are not going to believe this!” Bitty proclaims as he abandons Shitty in order to cling to Jack’s arm instead. “Jack, I just need you to prepare yourself for this because this is a Jack-o-lantern!

“…Uh…yes…it is.”

Shitty sinkers behind them, “Oh, shit. That’s what he meant.”

“Jaaaaaaaaaaaack! Oh sweetheart, you get it right?”

“Bittle, you should drink some water.”

“Oh, honey, I love you but sometimes you’re dumber than a sack of bricks.”

“Jack! You’re Jack! And this is a Jack!” Bitty all but shoves the pumpkin in Jack’s face. “Jack-o-lantern! So you know. I was thinking. I’m carving a Jack-o-lantern. And since it was already a Jack, I would make it you!”

By now, everyone in the kitchen was laughing. Holster and Ransom had stopped carving their pumpkins (one looked suspiciously like a dick) and replaced their knives for phones in order to record the prime chirping material. Lardo was grinning because fuck it her friends were being cute and she could appreciate that. Shitty was in hysterics not unlike how Bitty was earlier. Nursey, who was also more drunk than not, was hanging off of a certain William Poindexter laughing himself silly. Especially when Dex whispered, “Der, chill.”

“That’s, uh, nice Bittle.”

“No, no. Look at it. It’s your face! With the eyebrows and the mouth!”

Jack just deadpans, “Yes, those are facial features I have.”

No one could handle it.

My Thoughts About Jacksepticeye’s “SAY GOODBYE” Halloween Video

SAY GOODBYE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CcGpACOXxMo

Jack’s channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCYzPXprvl5Y-Sf0g4vX-m6g

I needed a place to share my thoughts on how amazing this video was.

To start off, I did not catch any of the hints leading up to this last October video. I thought the face cam glitches and other spooky Antisepticeye edits were just for the scares. Then SAY GOODBYE is uploaded. My mind was BLOWN. I swear, there are absolutely no words to describe how perfect it was.

First, Jack’s acting was so good, it didn’t even feel like acting. I knew he was acting, but he really made me question myself! I think the nosebleed scene was where I started questioning if all the coincidences were real, and just the editing was fake. Logically, I KNEW it had to be fake blood. But, the way Jack just laughed it off, saying “I never get nosebleeds! Haha, what a coincidence for this time of year!”, that gave me instant chills up my spine. What if he isn’t faking this? Don’t even get me started on the random noises, and how Jack just deadpans the camera at the end and “dies.” Gosh, Jack did SO WELL. Again, words can’t describe it. It was too good!!

Second, Robin’s editing was spot on! That’s the level of editing I want to achieve one day! All this month, the camera glitches and little easter eggs in videos were very well done. I loved it! Robin really upped his game throughout this month. He really showed off what he could do in this particular video, though. Like, DAMN, the way he created Anti’s appearances as a static-hologram-thing and the strange shadow on the door…SO GOOD! Seeing all the cuts and scenes come together was amazing. I loved how choppy it was, with the static lines as if it was falling apart, and how Anti comes in while Jack is killing himself and how REAL it looks. I seriously thought the video would end there, with Jack’s lifeless body encasing the pumpkin, and it would cut to black. No, it was even better than that. I jumped when Anti came up laughing at the camera. One of my favorite parts was the voice changing and when Anti said, “…but you just watched.” Honestly, it gave me Undertale vibes and reminded me of the Genocide run. How the player just wants to see what it’s like, how even Flowey references the audience watching it all happen…it perfectly fits in with us watching Jack’s videos. We wanted to see these Anti clips, these glitches, just to see what it’s like, and we didn’t do a thing but watch. Oh, and the 15 seconds of a black screen and silence, that was a fantastic way to end this spooky video. Seriously, props to Robin! He really went all out for this; I admire how beyond he went, and I really appreciate it.

The final thing I want to touch upon is the aftermath video, “Happy Halloween!” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iODdNMA0ZCU). First of all, I tip my hat to Jack on delaying the video. It really got me spooked. I wondered if he was going to upload a second video at all! Secondly, I LOVE the fact that Jack didn’t want to create a canon Anti for the channel. He used all these different ideas from the community and incorporated them into Anti. I love it so much. I love how much Jack really pays attention to us. When he was thanking the community for what we’ve created, I wanted to stop him and say, “No, Jack, thank YOU for listening! Thank you for doing all of this!” He didn’t have to make this video. Him and Robin didn’t have to do those little spooky glitches and easter eggs. But they did. They led us up to this finale. I really, really appreciate how much effort they put in. It was so worth it in the end. And in the aftermath video, you can tell how much Jack loved putting it all together. Gosh, I can’t say “thank you” enough. I love everything Jack does, I love all of Robin’s editing, I love everything these two have done.

*sob story coming through*

Jack’s videos have helped me through terrible days and they make me smile when the depression doesn’t want me to. I swear, when I watch Jack’s vlogs, I actually feel like I have a reason to live. I should live to achieve my dreams and I should be happy. Seeing how much effort Jack puts into his videos and into the community, it motivates me so much. Not only Jack, but the many YouTubers and bands that I love and follow; I’ll probably ramble about them in separate posts in the future, but this post is about Jack. You can see how much Jack loves doing this, and he’s always so honest and genuine about what’s going on. That’s the kind of person I could only wish to be.

Again, words seriously can’t describe how well-put this spooky video was. I can’t congratulate Jack and Robin enough on their hard work. Everything leading up to it was fantastic. I loved it, and I know the rest of the community did as well.

Thanks guys. Thanks for everything you do. Thanks for listening to us.

Thank you.
