So all in all there wasn’t anything really wrong with my life. Except that, like most everyone else’s I knew about, it had a big gaping hole in it, an enormous emptiness, and I didn’t know how to fill it or even know what belonged there.
So I’m reading a new book, along with @gotham-ruaidh. We found this little gem in probably the most amazing bookstore on the East Coast, Strand Bookstore. I’m not sure how I haven’t ever heard of this book before, and why it hasn’t been in my personal library for many years. Especially since this book published in 1970 and has a sequel from 1995. I feel like I should have heard of this long before now! It’s hard to put down. I’m counting down the minutes until my lunch break to sit and read it again!
To all of my followers, if you’d like another time travel drama, romance, I highly recommend finding a copy of this book!
I’ve read many a book and wished I had some notion of whatever happened after the final page to the people I’d come to know, especially those I liked. In fact, the better the book and more real the characters, the more I’ve wanted to know.
