Stitching together a family from wreckage and mistakes.

The Hudson women.

This past week or so has been a lot of fun. You’ve probably already guessed what I’m doing. When I started this book I sketched out all the characters on tiny pieces of paper during my lunch hour. When I finished one I would tape it to the previous and continue on. In the end the drawings stretched out four feet.

I wasn’t very happy with it, but it was the first time I had really drawn in years.

I need to cut myself some slack.

So, I am building up assets. Carving out characters individually so I can stitch them together later.

That’s the deal.

Just so you know.
