There are times when I can’t stop speaking, when a million words leave my mouth in a matter of seconds… a million words that mean nothing… but when I want to find some words that mean everything, I just can’t speak. Like: I miss you. Like: I love you. Like: My world is falling apart and I need you by my side.
↳ Set in Stamford, Lincolnshire in 1996, My Mad Fat Diary follows the story of 16-year-old, 16 stone girl, Rae Earl, who has just left a psychiatric hospital, where she has spent four months. She begins to reconnect with her best friend, Chloe, who is unaware of Rae’s mental health and body image problems, believing she was in France for the past four months. Rae attempts to keep this information from her while also trying to impress Chloe’s friends Finn, Archie, Izzy and Chop.
All she could feel was dread, a similar dread that you’d feel when you had heard somebody close had died, that and a splitting headache. Her eyes were heavy and she shut them once more as she winced at the burning sunlight that poured through the blinds, but once seeing the blinds were unfamiliar did her eye’s shoot back open - surrendering to the light. Her eyes moved around the room; trying to get a hint on who’s it was.
Well guys here is part 2, im so happy with the responses I got
from chapter one. I actually thought that not many people would even care that I
posted anymore. But you guys are just so great! Like all my writing really, it’s
un-edited because I just don’t have the time to. I kind of proof read it, so
just read at your own risk. Please leave your lovely comments and tell me what
you think, and what direction you think it’s going. It puts a smile on my face.
