Snowbaz Memories - The Sun’s Birthday (0.4k)

It’s @eroticgropefest‘s birthday, ya’ll! :D HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATIE!

@bazwearsjeans organized this lovely fanfiction series, all in honor of Katie’s birthday! So here is my contribution to it (: Plus with Simon’s birthday coming up in a few days, I thought this would be perfect!

Snow doesn’t know when his birthday is.

None of us do.

I hadn’t realized it until last week, when Snow had told me that he was thinking about getting a sword. I had immediately told him that I would buy it for him (in hopes that it would help him towards moving on with the past), and then an argument ensued; something that always happens when I offer to buy him anything. So I compromised, telling him that I would gift it to him on his birthday. Snow’s eyebrows furrowed instantly.

“I don’t have a birthday,”  he said, and rather casually, I might add.

I frowned at him. “What do you mean you ‘don’t have a birthday’?”

“I mean, I don’t have a birthday, Baz. I’ve never had one. I don’t know.”

“That’s…” And then I thought about it. Back at Watford, Simon had never once mentioned his birthday. Nor had anyone else. There was never any evidence of it in our room, or during any of the times I was trying not to be consciously aware of him.

“You really don’t know?” I asked. “Did the Mage never tell you when your birthday was?”

He shook his head. “Never.”

So Snow doesn’t know when his birthday is. I even went so far as to ask Bunce, and she simply shrugged and told me that no one knows. Which has led to where I am now: sitting at the kitchen table with Bunce and a dreadfully confused Snow.

“What’s going on?” He asks, raising an eyebrow at me.

Bunce sits a large plate of cake in front of him.

“What is this for?”

“It’s for your birthday,” I say.

He frowns. “I already told you, Baz. I don’t have a birthday.”

“You do now, Simon,” Bunce says, sitting next to him. I pull out a long box from beneath the table and place it next to him.

Simon narrows his eyes at both of us, then opens the box.

“You actually got me a sword,” he says, although it almost sounds like a question.

“I did,” I say. “I had it made to resemble the Sword of Mages.” Created by one of my cousins, but I don’t tell Simon that. Oh, the irony, I think.

He pulls the sword from the box and examines it thoroughly.

“I got you something too, Simon,” Bunce says, and then she gets up and walks off to her room.

Simon places the sword back into the box. He grabs my shirt collar and pulls me into him, kissing me intensely.

“Thank you,” he whispers against my lips.

“Of course, Simon,”

He then pulls away and gives me a curious look. “But why did you choose today to be my birthday?”

“You’re the sun,” I say. “It only makes sense to have it on the summer solstice.”

“Feelings are subjective. Facts are not. I’ll stick with those.”

Hey guys! I know that its been a really long time but I have been crazy busy. Work, school, ect. But I’m getting back to this. I missed you all so much!

the space between - an mmfd fic #22

We find ourselves once again, standing on the front step of 18 Elm Park Road, Stamford, with a six pack of Breezers under our arm and swiping lip gloss from our teeth one last time. This one goes off-script which is not my usual way of doing things at all, but we do end up at the same place eventually, I’ve just chosen an alternate, and some might say arduous, road to get there. I couldn’t sustain the fluff levels of the last one but hopefully you’ll find one or two things to smile at. It’s me though, so you might have to work for them. ;)

I should warn you that my Fizzy love got the better of me and while this is indeed, as they all are and will ever be, about Rae and Finn, this is pretty much a blatant, bold-faced love letter to our Miss Izzy. Chloe however, does not fare as well. I hope you’re okay with that.

I’ve quoted big Willy Shakespeare in this one, again, not my usual way of doing things but, you know, go with it if you can.

The title comes from the Dave Matthews Band song of the same name from the Everyday album. I think I may have used it before for something I wrote in a different fandom, proving that my laziness goes to the bone.

Once again and always, big massive ugly love to @how-ardently because she deserves it, and after my behaviour on this one, wads of stress money, quite frankly.  Writing this has revealed to me something about myself that Erin must have known for ages now; I’m a huge drama queen. I have apologised profusely. How on earth do people write whole books?

Anyway, onwards and inwards (that one’s from the skinny one who plays Marnie in Girls.) Thanks for playing.

Do You Really Want Me - Chapter 4

The concert venue is packed for the show. When they exit the car Shannon wraps his arm around Kate’s waist while Jared politely offers his hand to Izzy. She smiles bright and places her hand in his, allowing him to lead the way. Their seats for the show are phenomenal, just off the stage. Kate and Izzy jump up and down, dancing and singing along throughout the show. Jared has his hands on her hips, around her waist, touching her in some way throughout the entire show, pulling her against his chest and swaying during one particular song. Izzy felt completely owned by him and loved it. Izzy contently rests her head on his shoulder, her eyes closed, sighing, while Shannon and Kate are seated, making out, ignoring the show altogether.

At the conclusion of the show Jared takes her hand and the four of them head backstage to say hello. Halsey jumps into Jared’s arms, wrapping her legs around his waist the second the door to her dressing room opens, kissing him repeatedly on his cheek. “I’m so glad you’re here.  Did you enjoy the show?”

A Duck to Water / Jace Wayland [Jace’s POV]

I tried!

Words: 2925

Part One
Part Two

As Jace entered the Institute with Alec and Charlie by his side, his couldn’t contain his grin.  He was moments away from seeing (Y/N) for the first time in much longer than he would have ever liked.

Izzy was the first to have greeted them, giving her brother a firm hug before turning to Jace. “We need to talk,” she informed him quickly before looking down at the little boy. “And who are you?”

“I’m Charlie,” he answered her shyly.

“I’m Izzy,” she smiled. “It’s nice to meet you. You must be so hungry, how about you get Alec to show you around and then I’ll meet you in the kitchen and we can cook something up? How does that sound?”

The little boy’s face lit up, nodding eagerly. Alec took his hand and started to lead him away from the entrance.

“What is it?” Jace asked as soon as his parabatai and Charlie were out of sight.

Izzy sighed and crossed her arms, leaning against the wall as she looked over at her friend. “I’m worried about (Y/N), she’s been distant…not herself,” she explained. “She hasn’t really talked to me about it and I’m just a little concerned. If anyone can get her to open up, it would be you.”

Jace closed his eyes, hating the idea of something being wrong. “I’ll go see her. Do you know where she is?”

“She retreated back to your room,” Izzy told him, wishing him good luck before walking away.

Jace headed straight for his and (Y/N)’s bedroom. He took a deep breath before knocking on the door, pushing it open as he did so. “Hey,” he greeted, shutting the door behind him. Jace immediately spotted his wife on the floor leaning against the foot of their bed.

“Hi,” she replied.

Walking towards her, a frown slowly formed as he knelt beside her, “Are you okay?”

His eyes darted to her lips as they slowly tugged upwards into a smile, biting his tongue as she raised her hand and started running her fingers his hair. “I’m okay, just not feeling the greatest.”

Jace could feel himself relaxing under her touch, “Izzy said you’ve been kind of weird this past week.

“I was missing you,” she declared.

He locked his eyes on hers,  “I’ve been gone for two weeks. And you usually don’t let missions affect you like this.”

Jace watched as she momentarily got lost in her thoughts. (Y/N) moved her hands so they were resting on his shoulders, “Are you going to kiss me or not?” she challenged. “Like you said, it’s been two weeks.”

Jace happily complied, pushing his head towards her to kiss her gently but (Y/N) had other ideas. Her back arched, pressing her chest against his, as she tightened her grip on his shoulders. Jace followed her lead, sliding his arms around her.

Jace started to move (Y/N)’s hair behind her ears when she pulled away out of breath, he left one arm around her to keep her against him. “As much as I loved that,” he said, “and believe me-I did,” he assured her. “I know you were just trying to change the subject.”

(Y/N)’s smile slowly weakened and she moved her head so it was resting against his. “I’m sorry. I just…I can’t talk about it. Not yet.”

Jace started tracing circles on her back, taking a moment to gather his thoughts, “I won’t push you,” he told her, “but I need you to promise me something.” He wanted nothing more than for her to open up to him, but he understood she needed her space.

(Y/N) moved back and he continued.

“Promise me that you will tell me. When you’re ready. Even if you find a way to deal with whatever it is that’s bothering you…I need you to tell me about it okay?”

(Y/N) nodded, “I can do that.”

“Good,” he whispered, kissing the tip of her nose. “There’s someone I want you to meet,” Jace announced, excited at the idea of his wife meeting Charlie.

(Y/N) raised an eyebrow, “Finally introducing me to that secret lover then?” she joked, causing Jace to give her an unamused look as he gently pinched her.

“Don’t do that,” he insisted, rolling his eyes at the absurd prediction. He entwined their hands so he could pull her away from their room.

“Jace,” (Y/N) whispered, halting her movements. “That better not be your love child.”

He looked down at her baffled by her words and after seeing her on the verge of laughing, he rolled his eyes and gently pushed her into the kitchen.

“Jace!” Charlie shouted.

Jace looked over the the boy who was attempting to jump off the bench. “Hey there buddy,” he chuckled, leaving (Y/N)’s side to go to him. “This is (Y/N),” he said, using his hand to gesture towards his wife. “The girl I was telling you about,” he whispered in the boys ear, suddenly being reminded of his conversation with the young boy earlier about (Y/N).
“She’s pretty,” Charlie declared, causing Izzy to laugh behind them.

“That she is,” Jace agreed, looking over at his wife with a smile-noticing how she hadn’t moved at all. He watched as a number of emotions crossed her face, too quick to identify and try and work out what she was thinking.

“I-” (Y/N) cut herself off. “I need to go,” she mumbled, turning back around leaving everyone behind, tears already falling before she had a chance to stop them-Jace feeling his stomach drop at the sight of her watering eyes.

“Didn’t she like me?” Charlie asked.

Jace crouched so he was face to face with the little boy, “It’s not that, (Y/N) will love you, she’s just feeling little overwhelmed right now,” he told him with a small smile. “Why don’t you go back and help Izzy cook yeah?”

“You should give her some space,” Isabelle recommended as he was almost out the door.

“I cant just let her leave like that, she was crying, Iz,” he sighed.

“I know it’s hard,” she said, taking a step closer to him, “but just trust me-(Y/N) will appreciate the time alone.”

Jace waited as long as he could, needing to see her again-seeing to make sure she was okay. He gestured Charlie over to him and took him by the hand, exiting the kitchen and starting to walk down the hall.

“Can you do something for me?” Jace asked softly, causing Charlie to nod enthusiastically.  Jace knelt down to his height like before and smiled, “Did you want to help me cheer up (Y/N)?” another nod. “Could you go get her and bring her to the kitchen with you? I think she’d really like to eat with us.”

Charlie seemed nervous, “What if she doesn’t want to?”

“Then that’s fine,” he reassured him. “But I bet she would love to come and meet you properly.”

Charlie gave a third nod, “Okay.”

Jace led him to the library, having a feeling she would have resigned to the room. “She’s right through there, okay?”

“I’ll go get her,” he said excitedly. Jace ruffled his hair gently before opening the door to the library, ushering him inside before closing the door behind him. Jace let out a long breath before returning to the kitchen.

“Sending a child in there,” she said shaking her head, “that’s just cheating.”

“At least she’ll join us,” he answered.

It wasn’t long until Charlie came back with (Y/N) attached to his hand. Jace rose to his feet as they entered the kitchen, catching Charlie in his arms as he jumped toward him-starting to spin him in circles. Jace soon turned his back to his wife slightly to place Charlie in his seat.

The shattering of glass caused Jace to snap his focus on the dark haired girl whose eyes were locked on (Y/N). Izzy nodded, causing confusion to rise within Jace. “Sorry,” she squeaked.

“Okay…” Jace drawled, taking hold of their food. “How about we take this out of the kitchen?” he asked Charlie who shrugged, not taking his eyes off the bowls in Jace’s hand that were filled with pasta.

Charlie jumped off the chair and gripped at Jace’e shirt, following him out of the room. Jace gave (Y/N) a reassuring smile, and gestured for her to come with them.

When the three of them had finally settled down to eat, Jace moved closer to (Y/N) and rested a hand on her knee. “Are you okay?” he asked, once more that day.

(Y/N) shook her head, “But I will be. There’s something I need to tell you,” she admitted. “But not now. Tonight.”

“Is it something good or bad? I need to be prepared.” Jace let his eyes dart across her face, trying to decipher her words.
She glanced over at Charlie before smiling. “It’s something amazing.”

Jace sighed, pulling her closer to kiss her temple. “You really had me worried.”

“I’m sorry,” she said. “But I promise what I have to say will make up for it.”

Jace had to be patient, he would be patient.

After Charlie had fallen asleep, Jace quietly left the bedroom and made his way to his own-nervous to hear what (Y/N) had to tell him, but slightly reassured from their previous conversation that it was nothing bad.

Jace shut the bedroom door behind him as he entered their room.He released a small sigh, “That kid has so much energy,” he shook his head, leaning against the door. Thinking about how energetic Charlie had been after lunch.

His eyes fell upon (Y/N), deciding now was time to finally have that conversation with her. “Did you want to talk now?”

Jace felt his stomach flip as she smiled at him and gestured for him to join her. Jace sat on the edge of the bed, moving his hand to her knee.

“I don’t really know how to say this,” she chuckled, causing Jace’s nerves to resurface.

He frowned and squeezed her leg, “You don’t have to tell me. Not yet if you don’t want to,” he tried, thankful that she shook her head to deny his suggestion-needing to know more than before what was going on.

“I have to. It involves you as much as it does me.”

“You’re starting to worry me again,” he laughed nervously.

Jace moved closer to her as she held her arm out, letting him hold on to him as he wrapped an arm around her shoulders. He felt his body relax, but his mind was working on overdrive trying to figure out what she could possibly have to say.
“I don’t know how you will react,” she said slowly. “It’s why I was so…weird earlier. I know how I want you to feel…but I wasn’t sure if it’s even what you want.”

“You’re not making any sense,” he told her, feeling even more confused and her rambling did nothing to settle his mind.

“I need to apologise. I’ve felt so guilty today. I thought you wouldn’t be…open to the idea…that you wouldn’t be okay with the role you will have to take. I think I misjudged you and I’m so sorry.”
Jace remained in the dark about what she was trying to say, but he hated to see her so upset. He kissed the top of her head, feeling (Y/N) toy with his fingers.

After a moment, she placed his hand flat against her abdomen.

Jace froze.

Suddenly, he just knew. No words had to be spoken at all. Jace understood why (Y/N) had been acting like she had and why she was being so cryptic. He could feel his eyes watering, but he held his tears back.

(Y/N) was pregnant.

He was going to be a father. A father.

“I should have told you the moment you got back,” she sighed, “but I was worried.”

Jace soon removed his hand, quick to straddle her and lift her shirt. He could see the bump, it was small and barely noticeable at first glance-but he knew.

Jace let his fingers trace over her bare skin, he couldn’t stop his smile. “Is it really-” He couldn’t put into words what he wanted to say but (Y/N) understood and nodded.

His baby was growing inside of her. They had created life together and Jace was overwhelmed at the thought of (Y/N) bringing such a blessing into his life.

(Y/N) moved her hand to cup his face. Jace leant into her touch, but kept his eyes on the bump-it still being surreal for him.

“How long?”

“Just over a month.”

“When did you find out?” he asked, looking up at her and watched as she opened her eyes.

“Last week.”

Jace loved (Y/N) with everything had had within him and he knew she loved him, but he couldn’t understand why she was unsure about telling him about the pregnancy.

“Why were you nervous about telling me?”

(Y/N) lifted her other hand to his face and brought him closer to her, her guilt and shame expressed clearly, “I’m so sorry,” she told him. “I just…” her forehead was against his, “I’ve never really seen you around children before besides Max…you’ve never mentioned if you even wanted a family. We’ve never spoken about it.”

Jace could see she was struggling, he understood where she was coming from-he couldn’t be mad at her. He kissed her gently and she responded instantaneously.

“I’m so sorry,” she repeated, tears pooling in her eyes.

“Hey,” Jace said softly, moving his hand to wipe away the tears-hating to see her cry, unable to watch them fall. “Don’t cry. Please don’t cry. Don’t apologise, okay? You have nothing to apologise for.”

“But I-”

“But nothing,” he sighed, pulling away. “I understand where you are coming from. I wish you had talked to me earlier,” he admitted, “but what’s done is done. And now,” he said, his smile returning. “We have so much to talk about.”
Jace moved his focus back to her exposed stomach, lowering his face to kiss her skin. He sighed as (Y/N)’s hand moved to his hair. “I already love you so much, baby, and I already know how much you will bring to our lives.”

Jace lifted his head, slowing moving back up her body so his face was hovering over hers. He took a moment to take her in. This was a moment he would remember and cherish for the rest of his life.

“Are you happy?” he asked to confirm, wanting to know her thoughts .

“I guess that depends. Are you?”
Jace almost couldn’t believe the words, “Why wouldn’t I be? I have the most kind-hearted, beautiful wife that walks this earth who had just told me we’re expecting our first child. How could I be anything but?”

He felt his chest tighten at the sob his wife makes and goes to calm her but she had already pulled him on top of her.

Jace tenses, not wanting to keep his weight on her. He could feel her breath as she buried her face in his neck. He hated to pull away from her embrace, her arms bing his favourite place to be, but he didn’t want to risk hurting her.

“Not yet,” she mumbled as he attempted to get off her causing him to smile.

Not wanting to deny her of anything, he was careful in repositioning himself so he wasn’t lying on her but she could still hold him.

“I can see it you know,” he told her quietly. “Our baby. Our future. I can’t wait.”

He was being sincere, imagining their life together and loving all the possibilities he can come up with.

“Neither can I.”

(Y/N) eventually released him and Jace moved so he was lying beside her. “I’m sorry I made you feel as though you couldn’t come to me about this.”

“It’s not your fault,” he reassured her, not wanting her to Geel guilty over this.

Jace places his hand on her middle and (Y/N)’s hand soon finds it way on his.
“So you want this?” she asked hesitantly.

Jace turned towards her, “(Y/N), I want nothing more than to have a family with you. There will be no greater achievement in my life than to watch our children grow up and eventually have some children of their own. I can think of nothing I would ever consider to be a greater honour. And if that baby in here,” he smiled, rubbing at (Y/N)’s skin gently, “is even half as amazing as their mother…” he trailed off with a grin.

Jace could see tears start to pool in (Y/N)’s eyes, laughing quietly-he leans forward to kiss just below each of her eyes. He soon buried his head in her neck, taking in the moment the best he could.

“You’re going to be an incredible mother.”

“You think so?”

“I know so. You have so much love to give. That baby is lucky to have you.”

“I could say the same about you. I couldn’t see it before,” she confessed, “but you will be a great dad. I’m glad we’re in this together.”

“Always,” he mumbled.

Missing You - Axl Rose Imagine

A/N: I hope you enjoy this!

Pairing: Axl Rose x Reader

My heart pounds with excitement against my chest as hundreds, if not thousands, of people get off of planes in this Los Angeles airport. Many people hold signs and are in groups, excited to welcome friends and relatives. I, on the other hand, have no sign and am surrounded by two burly bodyguards. I’m not surrounded because I’m famous or anything, but because I’m Axl Rose’s girlfriend.

“Y/N! Babe!” Axl doesn’t even attempt to blend in with the many people in the airport. Abandoning Slash, Duff, Izzy, and Steven, he runs over and envelopes me in a tight hug.

“I missed you so much,” I mumble into his chest, inhaling the scent of him. I can feel every flex and release of his muscles as he holds me tighter and runs his hand up and down my back. His fiery locks tickle my arm and I’m sure I’ve never loved him more than I do right now.

Axl lets go of me and takes my hand, leading us to the awaiting limo. “I missed you too, babygirl.”

Alec walked into the institute carrying you, you were asleep you’d fallen asleep on the way back Magnus and Alec spoke about keeping you with Magnus but thought it was better for you to come back just in case the Clave decided that you were to close to the downworlders to be any use. “Alec hold on!” Victor called.
“What?” Alec asked turning to him.
“I want to talk to her.” he motioned you.
“She’s sleeping,” Alec answered shortly.
“Well then wake her up.” Victor faked a smiled before walking over to one of the tables.
“He’s a douche.” You noted. Alec put you down his arms are still around your shoulder as if you’d loose your balance. Victor noticed that you were up and walked up to you.
“(Y/N)” he smiled.
“It’s the villain.” You mumbled looking over at him.
“From what I’m told you let Jace go,” Victor informed you.
“You heard right,” You answered.
“Is that so?” he asked.
“Mmmhm” You hummed looking over at Clary who had stormed out her mother and Simon following her.
“Why?” Victors asked.
“I love him.” You answered, you walked passed him and back to your room passed Clary and her mother.

You sat in your room doing nothing in particular and trying to occupy your mind when Clary walked passed, you frowned and got up, you walked out of your room and down to hers you saw her sitting on her window seat. “Let me guess…” she looked over at you “Alec.”
“How’d you know?” she asked deflated.
“He’s the only one that doesn’t trust you.” You answered.
“You don’t trust me.” Clary pointed out.
“No, I don’t like you, that’s different.” You answered walking in “we don’t get along because we are similar in certain senses… We’re both very stubborn, we are both pushed into something we never wanted and we both want our old lives back.”
“Why are you telling me this?” she asked. You shrugged as your eyes welled up.
“I miss him I guess…” You answered. “Alec pines for him and Izzy… I don’t know they’re all different and it’s suffocating but you miss him the same way I miss him and you don’t care about the laws you just want him back.”
“Thanks, I guess” Clary smiled.
“Anyway, I’m about to sneak out because I’m bored.” You shrugged and Clary smiled.
“I might do the same.” She smiled.
“Be careful.” You warned. She raised an eyebrow. “Jace isn’t here to tell you.” You left after than sneaking out and going to the Hotel.

“(Y/N) what are you doing here?” One of the vampires asked as you walked up the stairs.
“Why does it matter to you?” You asked.
“(Y/N)? Where have you been?” Raphael asked as you rounded the corner.
“People keep trying to ground me… It’s not fun.” You mumbled.
“I don’t imagine it would be.” Raphael smiled walking over to you. You went on to explain what had happened to you after Raphael had pointed out that your collar was gone, he then told you about what Simon had done.
“Don’t blame him.” You defended the absent vampire.
“Why?” Raphael asked lazily.
“Because that Shadowhunter is tricky, if I didn’t have the assurance of the Clave I would have been kicked out about 3 times.” You explained.
“You’re different,” Raphael answered,
“Yeah, he can’t manipulate me.” You answered. “But Simon can be manipulated and he probably doesn’t even know it.”
“So help him find Camille,” Raphael suggested and you rolled your eyes.

“So why are we in India?” You asked.
“What are you doing here?” Magnus asked.
“Disappointing the Clave, Impressing Raphael.” You answered.
“Is that a good thing?” Simon asked. You gave him the so-so gesture and he nodded.
“So what are we doing?” You asked.
“Looking for Camille,” Simon answered.
“In India?” You asked as you walked down the corridors into the house.
“Camille lives wherever she wants. Homes all over the globe. She’s always liked to spend the winters in Agra. She loves the smell of lotus blossoms.” Magnus explained.
“Who doesn’t?” Simon asked as you walked into the first room.
“Hmm. I recognise that. Ming dynasty.” Magnus hummed. “Of course I recognise it. It’s mine.”
“Well, unless she’s in that vase, she’s not here. So, come on. You said there are, like, 62 other rooms we have to search.” Simon said walking towards the door.
“You go on. I have a few things Camille never returned after one of our many breakups. I wanna find them.” Magnus explained and you rolled your eyes.
“So you’re not going to help me find her?” Simon asked pointing the sword at him.
“I Portaled you to India. The rest of your sire squabble is all on you. Now go. And find me when you’re ready to leave. Preferably after you dealt with Camille.” Magnus clarified.
“Right, because why would you need a powerful warlock when you’ve got a scrappy nerd from Brooklyn?” Simon said through gritted teeth jabbing at the air with the weapon in his hand.
“What are you so afraid of?” Magnus asked still cradling the vase.
“Where do I start? Elevators. Snakes. Clowns. Raphael trying to burn my junk off” Simon listed.
“You’re dead you have no use for that stuff.” You smirked.
“You’re a vampire, Simon. You’re tougher than you think. Honestly, it’s time to man up.” Magnus said taking the sword off of him and gesturing the next room. Once Simon left he looked at you and you nodded following him. You followed Simon as he called for Camille, you both walked into a room and Simon was immediately attracted to the statue. You sat on the chair next to it.
“Whoa” You heard Simon say and you looked around to find the snake on the floor slivering towards him, he ran over to the door but it wouldn’t open, he then turned to the snake  “Hey, hey, snakey. Nice snakey. Go away, please. Encanto. Who am I kidding? I still suck at encantos!” Simon frantically looked around eyes landing on you, you were lazily laying around in the chair. “Do you want to help me!?”
“No, I don’t think I do.” You smirked. “You need to learn… So learn.”
“Oh, God. Okay. You’re a vampire, damn it. There are no pointy objects. There’s no fire. Nothing to be afraid of. Everything’s gonna be fine. You’re gonna be fine.” Simon mumbled to himself as he watched the snake, he was standing on a stool now, but your attention was pulled to him when the snake started breathing fire.
“Oh… That’s… Mmm” You hummed as he backed up towards the door.
“Magnus!” Simon yelled. “Magnus! Magnus! Get me out of here!” No one answered. “Okay, you know what? I’m a vampire I’m a vampire and I’m gonna prove it. Right now.” Simon encouraged himself up before throwing his hand up and successful using Encanto to get rid of the snake. “Yes! That’s right! Get outta here! That’s what I’m talking about!” Simon cheered and you high fived him. “Hey, Magnus.”
“There you are.” Magnus sighed and then noticed the snake. “And there it is. My baby.”
“Your baby?” Simon asked.
“I created it for Camille ages ago. The best gift I ever gave.” Magnus nodded and you smirked.
“Couldn’t do a dragon then?” You asked, he just glared and you laughed.
“Great. Well, then, maybe don’t include me on your Christmas list.” Simon informed.
“He didn’t scare you, did he?” Magnus asked.
“No, of course not. I encantoed him. No big.” Simon answered and Magnus smiled at him. There was a ringing in the room and you pulled your phone out and answered. “How do you have my number?” You asked.
“That’s not important I have a plan to save Jace, I’m on Valentine’s ship, Dot is here-”
“Hold on, I thought Dot was dead.” You frowned.
“We thought she was but we have a plan to make sure that we can all get off the ship but we need your help,” Clary answered.
“Okay, talk.” You ordered.
“The wards around the ship can be broken but we need you to make it seem like you did it not Dot,” Clary answered.
“Okay, if you temporarily break the wards so that I can track you and get in I can help, although you assuming I couldn’t do that is quite a blow to the self-esteem.” You smirked.

You arrived just as Clary and Jace were starting to run so you stopped the two guards before they became a problem stabbing them both. “Ah (Y/N)!” Valentine greeted.
“Hi.” You waved, you noticed that Jace had staggered to a stop.
“You can’t break the wards.” Valentine smiled.
“No, my magic isn’t strong enough on its own but that’s what unconscious warlock is for.” You smirked drawing his attention to Dot, who was knocked out on the floor “I can syphon her magic and break the wards see.” You smiled breaking the wards and watched as Jace and Clary jumped overboard.
“Bye.” You waved before jumping and letting the wards close.

Part 3 (2nd Half) >>

Requests and general question!

Axl Rose imagine (requested)

“That’s it?! You simply don’t want to be with me anymore? You’re not… you… it’s not the right time to be in a relationship?” You glared at Axl, who had still been you boyfriend a few moments ago. You were used to such lame excuses. It’s been a few weeks since you suspected that something was going on but you’ve tried to reassure yourself that everything was fine. The lack of phone calls, the lack of kisses and sweet words. You’ve tried to convince yourself that Axl was busy with his band and that there was nothing more to it. But now that he had told you out of the blue he didn’t have time for a relationship anymore you knew he wanted to leave you for someone else.

“Just tell me, Axl” you spoke under your breath. “If there’s someone else, let me know. That’s the last thing I’ll ask from you - to tell me the truth.” “(Y/N)… I’m sorry. I know I’m an asshole and you deserve better.” “Don’t play the remorseful victim now, Axl” you spat as you got up, ready to leave his house. Axl grabbed your wrist to make you stop. “You’re right” he admitted. “There’s someone else.” You looked at him, he kept avoiding eye contact with you. The anger inside of you slowly turned to sadness and your eyes got watery as you broke free from Axl’s grip. You left and the fact that he did not try to stop you once more made you tear up. The second you got into your car you couldn’t help the tears running down your cheeks as sobs escaped your mouth. Why would he leave you for another girl? You have done everything for him. You have always been there for him, no matter what, you’ve always understood his mood swings even if you’ve been the only one to get it. Now he had left you for some other girl.

You couldn’t stop crying but you didn’t want to wait until you would’ve calmed down, you needed to get away from him as far and as fast as possible.

As you drove along the street you put on your radio, in the hope that some music would make you feel better. When you realized that ‘Sweet Child O Mine’ was playing you would have almost smashed the radio with your bare fist though. You cried the whole way back home and even more when you had reached your own apartment. You were too exhausted to even reach your bedroom - as soon as you had locked the door behind you, you slid down the wall and buried your face in your hands. By now you were crying hysterically, your head hurt and you were unable to control your thoughts.

I’m not good enough for him… I’m not beautiful enough. He tried to get rid of me and now he finally found a way to do so…

After almost half an hour you got up, feeling completely empty. You slogged along to your room and collapsed into your bed. You had no idea how to ever get over him. Axl and you had been together for almost four years and you had imagined your whole life with him. You thought he would someday ask you to marry him. You felt like you were nothing without him.

Of course you couldn’t sleep tonight. Instead you kept tossing and turning while analyzing the situation over and over again but you couldn’t figure out why he left you for someone else. You did not even know who she was but you were sure you would find out sooner or later. After all he was Axl fucking Rose and if Axl Rose had a new girlfriend, the press would publish pictures of them in the next few days anyways…

This whole week has been like hell for you. You had to tell all your friends that Axl and you were no longer together and you had to explain to them why and everybody kept asking the same questions: who is she? You still had no clue and you did not want to know.

One day you got a call from Izzy and you were surprised when you heard his voice at the other end of the line.

“(Y/N)? It’s Izzy. Sorry it took me so long to call you.”

“Izzy? Why’d you even call me? Did Axl leave something at my apartment and someone needs to get it for him?”

“No, silly. I’m worried about you.”

“Really?” you asked in confusion. “Yes, princess. So how are you doing?” You gulped. “Not sure… uh, I’ve been better. It’s so sweet that you’re calling me though, this lightens up my day a lot.” “Glad to hear that. Hey, do you wanna hang out today?” “Hang out? You wanna hang out with me?” “We’re still friends, after all.” A smile crept onto your lips. “Sure. I’d love to.” “Great. Just come over.” Izzy hesitated before he added: “He won’t be here today.”

You hung up, still smiling. It’s been some days since you actually felt good. You didn’t expect any of the guys to even think of you anymore. You thought they had always just accepted you as Axl’s girlfriend but it seemed as if at least one of them actually liked you and still wanted to be friends.

After you had taken a shower to avoid looking like a zombie you made your way to the band’s rehearsal room where you were greeted with a hug and a happy smile.

“This is way better than wallowing in self-pity” you stated. “It’s good to see you again, (Y/N). I missed you” Izzy said. “It wasn’t easy to be at this place without a certain someone around.” “You can say his name. It’s okay.” “I still don’t get it, you know?” You shook your head with an uneasy smile. “Me neither.” Izzy noticed your watery eyes and sighed. “I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have said anything.” “Don’t worry… I’m just over-sensitive. Why don’t you play something on the guitar for me?” Izzy smiled. “Good idea. I’m writing on some new music anyways.” “Some new tunes for Guns N’ Roses?” Izzy shook his head. “Not really.” “What does that mean?” Izzy bit bis bottom lip. “I’m not sure. Maybe it’s time to do something else.”

It’s been two years since the fateful day that Axl had broken up with you. It had taken you almost a year to get over him and you still couldn’t help but hate Stephanie more than any other human being on this planet. The second place on your list was reserved for Axl. You still had no idea if she had pinched your boyfriend or if it has been Axl who started it. It actually didn’t matter to you anymore, you were happy with the way you lived your life. When Izzy had told you that he would leave Guns N’ Roses, you weren’t really surprised. He had made more and more comments about doing something else and the fact that he wrote his own music now made it even more obvious. You were sad to hear how the guys started to split up though but Izzy made sure to keep in touch with you from time to time.

You had moved into the center of the city where you worked for a magazine as a journalist now. Since your whole life revolved around music, it was only natural that you’d undertake the arts and music section.

One day the chief editor asked you to write a short announcement about a famous couple breaking up. You thought nothing of it but when you read the names of the two people who had just ended their relationship your heart started beating faster and you coudln’t believe your eyes at first.

Axl Rose and Stephanie Seymour broke up.

Your eyes were glued to those words and you had to read it over and over again. You had never felt so many different things at once and you weren’t sure if it made you happy or if you didn’t care at all. No matter what you actually felt at this very moment, you knew you couldn’t write this announcement. You couldn’t do any research about them, you didn’t want to see the pictures which was exactly what you told your chief editor.

“No problem, I’ll find someone else to write it.” He gave me a concerned look. “Are you alright? You’re as white as a ghost.” You shook your head. “I’m feeling sick.” “There’s not much going on today anyways, you can take your day off if you want to.”

After a short while you were back home and whilst you still tried to figure out how you felt about the news, someone rang your doorbell. You got up with a sigh, expecting a young student who would try to sell you some magazine to finance their college education. You opened the door and the second you saw a strand of strawberry blond hair you slammed the door into his face immediately. You took a step back, your heart in your mouth.

“(Y/N), I know you don’t want to see me and you have every right to be mad at me… but… please, talk to me.”

You stared at the door, still unable to believe that Axl actually stood at the other side and tried to talk to you. You didn’t think that you’d ever see him again or that you would ever hear him say your name again. You didn’t want to talk to him though. You had counted him out and the time in which you would have taken him back was over.

“I know it was wrong. It was wrong to leave you for Steph. It was wrong to leave you at all but I’ve done it in the most possible stupid way… I hurt you so much when all I ever wanted was you.”

Although you didn’t say a word you stayed at the door to listen to him. You were curious. Why did he think that it was a good way to win someone back by simply coming back to them when the other relationship failed? You’d love nothing better than to slap his perfect face and tell him to go away and leave you alone. But you were afraid of opening that door.

“You probably think that I come back to you because Steph and I broke up and I don’t wanna be alone but it’s not like that. I broke up with her ‘cause I finally realized that you’re the only one for me, (Y/N). I’m not trying to win you back by sweet-talking you, this is the whole truth. I’ve made many mistakes in my life but leaving you for someone else was the biggest mistake I ever made. I mean it… my band is falling apart and I think I’m starting to fall apart too. I need you, (Y/N). I’ve always needed you. Please, open the door. Say something.”

Tears ran down your face as you reached out for the doorknob but then you pulled back again. How could you ever trust him again after all he had done to you? Did he actually think it’d be that easy to win you back? You forced yourself to turn your back on the door. If he meant it like he said he would try again and again and again. You were not sure if you actually planned on forgiving him yet.

You could still hear his muffled voice and it hurt you so much. You couldn’t believe that he broke up with Stephanie to be with you again. It sounded made-up and he probably just wanted some company now that he was alone again.

The rest of the day went by painfully slow and you tried to keep yourself distracted with watching your favorite TV-show until you eventually decided to go to bed.

The next day you got up earlier than usual since you couldn’t sleep anyways. When you realized that you were running out of coffee beans you grabbed your keys and some money. It was saturday morning and you needed to do some grocery shopping anyways. When you thought about what had happened yesterday your eyes got watery again. Maybe you should have talked to Axl after all. You opened the door and when you took a step outside you would’ve almost tripped over something. Puzzled, you looked down and realized that it was Axl who had fallen asleep right at your door while sitting on the floor with his back to the frame. The sudden run-in had startled him and he quickly got to his feet.

“Axl? Why are you still here?” you said in a low voice. “I’ve been waiting for you to open the door.” An awkward silence descended over the two of you. “Whatever. I need to go.” You walked towards the staircase and soon Axl caught up with you. “At least you’re talking to me” he mumbled. You kept walking without even glancing at him. “I’m not trying to be creepy and stalk you or something… I just don’t know how I can prove to you that I meant every word I said. Do you believe me?” “What if I did?” you asked coldly. “Does that mean you do believe me?” “I can’t trust you anymore, Axl. I don’t know why or how this should ever work again. What am I to you? Some kinda toy you can throw into a dark corner when it gets boring?” Axl gulped. He had no idea how unapproachable and cold you could be if someone hurt you the way he had done. “I’ll do whatever I can to win your trust back, (Y/N).” “Yeah, whatever” you muttered “I don’t have time to talk now.”

At first you felt bad for rejecting Axl like that but after a while you were glad you showed him that it wouldn’t be as easy as he probably thought it would be. He called you almost daily and you never picked up the phone so he left you lots of messages. You still debated whether you should trust him or not. One day you got a call from Izzy and you were surprised when he mentioned Axl.

“You know, Axl… he called me today.”

“Okay? Why do you tell me that?”

“He asked me for help. He said he had no idea what he could do to win you back anymore… (Y/N), I know him better than most people and you can trust me when I tell you that he never sounded that desperate before. He’s one nervous wreck right now and maybe you should talk to him. You don’t need to forgive him or anything, just talk to him.”

“If you knew how hard it is not to talk to him, Izzy. I’m not sure if it’s the right thing to do.”

“Maybe you should listen to your heart, (Y/N). I can’t tell you if it’s the right thing to do but I can tell you that Axl broke up with Steph because of you. He wants you back and I don’t think it’d be wrong to give him one more chance.”

You sighed. “Alright. I’ll talk to him. Thanks, Izzy.”

“Hang in there, princess.”

You hung up and listened to every single voice mail Axl had left for you and you knew that Izzy told the truth. Eventually you dialed his number and it didn’t even take one second for him to answer the phone.

“Axl… let’s talk. Just come over.”

Before he could’ve said another word you already put away your phone. You took a deep breath and waited for Axl to knock at your door. It didn’t take very long until you heard your doorbell. You have never been this nervous before, not even during your first date. You opened the door for him with tears in your eyes; Axl looked tired and exhausted but the second he saw you he was all smiles. “(Y/N)…” “Axl” you whispered. Although you didn’t want to show him right away that you were ready to forgive him you took a step towards Axl and hugged him tightly. He wrapped his arms around you immediately and pulled you closer to him. Now you couldn’t hold back your tears anymore. Axl soothingly rubbed your back. “I missed you so much” he whispered “I don’t know how I survived for such a long time without you.” “I hate you” you mumbled. Eventually you let go of each other. Axl gave you an uncertain smile. “Are you actually willing to forgive me?” You dropped your gaze but you had to smile as well. “I think we can make it.” Axl placed a kiss on your forehead. “And no matter how long it takes, (Y/N), I’ll be waiting. You’re my one and only.”

Anon asked: “You can’t die, please do not die.”

He was waiting.

He was waiting for her to wake up. Waiting for her to smile again. Waiting for her to just give him the smile that could light up anybody’s day.

He was waiting. Waiting for the tears to dry. Waiting for the feeling of remorse to go away. Waiting to stop his stomach from clenching each time he looked at Maya who had a look of self-hate on her face.

He was waiting. He waited for her to get better. He waited for Topanga as she broke down against Katy Hart, he waiting for Cory as he finally let out a sob in front of Shawn. He waited for Isadora to stop crying, waited for Lucas to stop breaking things and Zay to appear again.

He was waiting.

She had gotten into a car crash with Maya in the driver seat. (ao3)
