Violet knew how hard it was for Thalia to apologize in the first place. She had a tendency to be a bit prideful. She could tell that it wasn’t easy for her, but she could also tell it was genuine. Violet didn’t enjoy fighting with her best friend, and she was more than willing to accept her apology. 

She pulled her into a tight hug, and smiled. It felt good to have her back. Especially, over such a dumb thing as a boy. The tension between them melted away, and everything felt like normal again. Both girls had been waiting for this moment- neither one liked not talking to each other for such an extended time.

Violet pulled away from the hug. “We definitely have a lot to catch up on..”
