Healthy Glow Travel: Back to My Alma Mater, Indiana University Bloomington
I can not believe how much time passed since I graduated from Indiana University (IU) in 2008 with my undergraduate degree. When I lived closer, visiting Indiana was no problem, especially when my sister was in the process of finishing her degree. However, due to my frequent travels, visiting IU gets harder every year.
This past weekend, I traveled to Bloomington, IN for my sorority’s (Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority, Inc.) 10 Year Reunion. My visit was short, but I made sure to visit all of my favorite on-campus buildings.
Picture 1: The Wells Library. I spent so much time here due to working in the stacks reshelving books, studying, and plotting.
Picture 2 (lower left): The Indiana Memorial Union. Studying, parties, interviews, parties, eating.
Picture 3: The IU Art Museum. Events. ART. more WORLD class art, concerts.
I should probably say more about how much these building mean to me but I can’t put it into words.
Is there a special place from your past that you want to come visit?
I think this piece was my favorite today at IU’s wonderful art museum: Picasso’s depiction of himself and his lover. #art #museumjunkie #picasso #muse #nofilter #artmuseum #indianauniversity #cubism (at Indiana University Art Museum)
