it's a sickness. open rp.

Stumbling through the woods, the redhead slumped against the nearest tree root, keeping herself upright. Here she was, small again and so close to Moonhaven that she could almost smell the sweet, clear air once more and yet, she could barely take two steps before coughing, her legs almost giving way beneath her. What had happened? Was it something when she was shrunk? Did something go wrong? Coughing again, she took a breath to try and steady herself before another coughing fit took her over, her hand covering her mouth. Bringing her hand away once she finally caught her breath, she noticed the spots of red which she immediately wiped away on her skirt.

No. She was fine. She had to be.

Taking another breath, she pushed away from the tree, finally setting off to find Moonhaven once again. Her legs went to jelly once more as she coughed, her whole body shaking now, stomach turning with each step she took. Her next step misjudged causing her to fall to the ground, her stomach turning, heaving as she released her lunch from earlier. Rolling away from the spot, she frowned at the sight of not only vomit but blood. No. She was not sick. She was not dying. There was nothing wrong with her. Cough. Cough. Cough. Pushing herself up from the ground, she frowned, straightening herself out once more. “Come on MK, pull it together,” she encouraged herself as she set off once more, her hand moving to her forehead as she felt the burning fever which had taken her over.

Cough. Cough. Cough.

Taking another step, her head swam, spots appearing before her as she struggled onward. Her chest burned with the next coughing fit, her stomach turning again before her legs gave way. Falling to the ground, her eyes closed as everything went black.

Forests and Fireworks

Ash woke up with a feeling of adventure and excitement permeating his bones. He usually felt like that when he woke, but today was even more filled with that feeling than usual. With a great battle cry, he sliced out of his blanket and lunged across the room, dropping into a roll that would be sure to throw off any enemies.

Today was a great festival day for the stompers that lived outside of Moonhaven, and he wanted to celebrate today, too. But who to convince to come with him? He rather wanted to make a party of it. As he ran from his room, punching the Boggan-shaped piñata hanging in the frame, he thought of whom he wanted to ask to come. The general, of course, Aisling, Nod, MK. He wondered if they could convince the Professor or Holly to join them too, as he would be able to shed more light on the meaning of the festival.

Quickly, he jumped on his hawk and flew deep into Wrathwood, screaming down the few Boggans foolish enough to stand in his way, landing near their nest. After an argument that was nothing more than a shouting match with Batsy, as he called Mandrake, he grabbed Drosera and flew back to Moonhaven where he started to fly around trying to invite more people, Drosera wearing a flower hat and a leaf dress to try and disguise her while with him.

He landed his hawk on the edge of Moonhaven and stood on it’s back, shouting to his fellow Jinn, “AAAAAHHHHH!!!! DOES ANYONE WANT TO GO WATCH THE WONDERFUL FESTIVAL OF INDEPENDENCE DAY WITH ME? IT WOULD BE A GREAT WAY FOR EVERYONE TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THE STOMPERS WE SHARE THESE WOODS WITH, AND ALSO THERE ARE EXPLOSIONS AND WATERMELON. WHO’S WITH ME?“

(Open RP for anyone to jump in and RP with Ash. I don’t care what fandom you’re from or anything. Jump in and we’ll have some fun! Tagging ALL the people who follow Ash, and a couple extra. Starting it a day early)

Mirrors Don't Talk Back/ rp with its-mk-now

It had been a total accident, finding this place. M.K had been walking through the woods, trying to ditch her guards once again, when she had stumbled through a curtain of hanging vines. She had emerged in a dark cave, the sound of dripping water and a smell that could only be described as “CAVE" being it’s most prominent features.

Stumbling further in as she heard the pounding of heavily armoured feet, M.K had ran around and corner and come into a large room with one flat wall made entirely of glass. She had come to dead halt when she had recognized the place displayed in the glass, almost like a movie.

Her father’s home.

Ever since, she had come back whenever she got the chance, watching her father stumble around his home. And weirder still, would watch herself help pick him back up.

Yes, herself.

M.K rested her chin in her palm, smiling as the larger M.K, wearing one of her old favorite blouses, describing the city of Moonhaven to a enthralled Bomba. M.K figured that the Mirror, as she called it, was more of a window, giving her a glimpse into what could have happened if she had returned to her normal size. A Stomper once again. It also seemed to move around, showing the young queen her old home from various vantage points, almost never the same place twice.

Though M.K came and visited almost daily now, the pangs of longing growing each day, she had never tried to interact with the people inside the Mirror.

Until the day they tried interacting with her.

The young girl’s eyes lit up slightly at the new faces. She barely even knew half of them and yet, there they were, wanting to see what she was up to. Pushing her hair back from her face, she smiled brightly before giving a little wave of her hand. “I’m MK, but I guess you might have known that… anyway! Are you here to talk about my Dad’s research?”

// doing another post of the same welcoming thing because there’s so many of you! XD also, sorry if i missed anyone! anyone i’ve put a starter up for already isn’t tagged here!

Can't be real. Closed.

Green eyes darted across the computer screen in front of her, red hair falling around her shoulders as she heaved a heavy sigh. Hummingbirds passed through the trees, and with each one, MK sat up in her chair a little more, getting a little closer to the screen each time. What if Nod was on one of them? What if he was training and she was missing it? One flash of colour passed by the camera as her heart almost beat out of her chest. Chewing on her bottom lip for a moment, her eyes trained on the monitor’s screen, she jumped at the feeling of something at her leg. Her eyes dropped to the pug at her feet, panting up at her as she grinned down at him. “Thank you for that heart attack, Ozzie,” she replied, laughing a little before she reached down, scratching the dog behind the ear. “I suppose you’re right, I’ve been sat here watching that screen for hours now, might be time to actually do something,” she sighed in exasperation before pushing herself up and out of the chair.

Turning, her eyes landed on her father who had been standing in the doorway, unknown to her. “How long have you been there?” Walking over, she passed him by as he followed her to the kitchen. “Long enough to see that you miss something out there, or someone. I used to get that same look when – …well, when your mother left,” her father gave her a look before averting his gaze for a moment. A heavy sigh escaped her lips as she nodded her head gently, arms wrapping around herself in comfort. Of course she missed Moonhaven, she missed Mub and Grub, and even Ronin, but most of all… she missed Nod. Missed the way he’d made her feel, the way he’d opened her eyes to so many things, how he made her smile. “I guess I’m just–” Not able to finish her train of thought, her father’s beepers went off, once…twice… three times. “Something’s going on,” MK announced quickly before running to the office and straight to one of the computer screens.

Her eyes darted across the green of the leaves, the trees… and the figure walking across each camera. “Dad! There’s someone out there!” Shouting to her father, she watched as he began tinkering with the different computers, attempting to get a better look at who it was. Her brows furrowed together as she squinted, looking at the figure… the figure which seemed ever so slightly familiar in it’s movements. But it couldn’t be. Pushing away from the desk, she sprinted for the door, letting it close on it’s own as she ran from the porch. Running for the trees, she quickly jumped over a fallen log before stopping, her chest rising and falling with each gasping breath. “Nod!” Shouting across the trees, she almost beamed at the sight before her. There he stood, taller than she was, just how she remembered him, and just across the way… so close she could almost run and jump into his arms… if only her legs would carry her.
