its crazy how the world works

you know what drives me crazy? people that be standing up here saying “we need to give him the benefit of the doubt, we need to give him a chance and see how he leads”

I’m sorry, do you want the world to just fuckin…ignore the hate trail he ran as a campaign? we just what, pretend the last 18 months didn’t happen and his behaviours and attitudes and cabinet picks are not indicative of the man he is and the administration he’s going to run?

if someone treated you like shit every day at work, made your life hell, bullied you, objectified you, harassed you, and then got promoted and became your boss, do you just forget that happened because he might treat you better now he’s in charge?

nah fuck that, power doesn’t change a person for the better, it just makes the type of person they are more obvious, and idk how much more obvious it can be that he’s a hateful piece of shit, so fuck giving him a chance or the benefit of the doubt. fight back. resist. don’t ever accept this man as president. acknowledge it happened and fight to fix it, but don’t accept it. acceptance indicates something is okay, and this? absolutely isn’t.

Since Sam is obviously Nathan & Elena Drake's daughter, how about an AU where she (& the rest of the Dawn Squad for some reason) gets kidnapped by bad guys & taken across the world on a crazy treasure hunt & almost sacrificed to a long-forgotten deity or something (IDK, I've never played an Uncharted game). So while the Drakes are working with their old crew to save their daughter & her friends, the teens try to figure a way to get themselves free & they might as well solve an ancient mystery.

Sam and the gang go in vacation via the Washington family. They (in a boat they rented) wash up on a mysterious island that shouldn’t exist. It’s an island that for some reason, only appears every (idk) twenty years. The gang is stuck on it, when they realize there are evil treasure hunter there looking for some treasure on the island.

Sam and Mike sneak into one of their tents, and Sam calls Nate, who, with Elena, Chloe, Charlie, and Sully (I haven’t played 4 yet so idk who else i might be missing from the gang), all track down the island and end up ship wrecked on the island.

Meanwhile the kids end up looking for the treasure them selves. Or rather Ashley, Jess, Josh, and Mike all decide too. Emily and Matt want to stay put, Chris will go along with whatever Ashley and Josh’s plan is, and Sam wants to wait for her parents. Nevertheless they all end up searching for the treasure once the run from the evil treasure hunters and end up trapped (cause the entrance caved in) in an underground tomb in the island.

The Uncharted gang gets into some trouble of their own, a couple gun fights with the treasure hunters, and are looking for the kids all around the island (not knowing their in the tomb).

Ashley, Emily, and Chris are actually solving the puzzles and stuff down in the tombs, getting deeper and deeper into it (sam, Mike, and Matt doing the physical work for the puzzles, while Josh and Jess cheer everyone on and keep spirits high) turns out the island is actually the lost city of Atlantis, and it was super rich and powerful until (idk) something magical happened to make the citizens become insane and dangerous, and so the island was flooded via magic, but still appears because of reasons.

The city is covered in gold and silver, and because it was sealed off by the tomb, it was never touched by the water, and therefore is mostly intact. The gang goes to the heart were Sam (having heard the stories from her dad) figures out somethings on quite right, and after finding some weird stuff, everyone realizes that the place is cursed and they need to leave now.

By the time they are abut to leave, the evil treasure hunters come into the city and they kids need to hid. They get into some fights, and Chris, Sam, and Mike hold off some treasure hunters with their gun skills. Soon Team Uncharted finds them, saves them, and gets them out of the city.

In a final fight with the big bad, Nathan accidentally sets off some explosions, and the tomb is starting to collapse. The heroes escape, but the villains die, and they all steal the treasure hunters boat and sail away. Only for Josh and Jess to reveal they kept some gold in their pockets (and Jess’s purse) and Sully is like “I’ll take some of that.” and they all spilt it and live happily ever after.

Also Nate starts shipping Sam and Mike even more and keeps encouraging Sam to date him, but Sam just ends up making out with Josh (much to Nathan’s disappointment)

Pardon my language, but holy shit! Hello sims world! How is everyone? I know, I know its been a damn long while. Work just got so crazy on my end, that by the time I get my butt home I pass out dead to the world.

But today, for the first time in months, I was able to leave work early and tapped into this part of the world. I miss building, and so damn happy that the wonderful cc creators are still releasing so many amazing things! Thank you for making it such a joy to build and decorate!

P.s. this one is a record for me, build and decorate time: 3 hours

Lux needed a break from the crowded club. She’d fed before going inside, but the pulses of those around her were starting to pound louder than the music in her ears and she weaved through the writhing mass of bodies to get some space, bursting out of the door, gasping like she still needed air. Bending over, hands on her knees, she closed her eyes, reciting the bones of the hand under her breath to clear her head. Maybe it had been a bad idea to drag herself to such a place, with all its alluring smells, with that unholy curiosity about how all these new species tasted still so fresh in her mind, but she was going stir crazy, after so many months of all work and no play.

Her mind was still whirring from the knowledge that there were other immortals in the world, unsure of what it meant for her way of life, but wondering if she could hope for newer, better, things in the future. After all, she’s spent so long making new friends, that she had no clue if she still knew how to keep them. Straightening her back, she glanced uncertainly around, realizing she’d stop beside someone else.  “Sorry,” she blurted, sucking in a breath. “I think it’s time for me to try something that isn’t laced with alcohol, for a change.”

I still have so many questions about wizard portraits. For example, when dumbledore says to phineas to go visit his other portrait, does that mean he is going to go and visit himself? Phineas chatting with phineas? So in the paiting world you can hang out with yourself? And one of you can know stuff the other doesnt know? OR does it mean that while he chills in dumbledores office his frame in grimmauld place is sitting empty? There is only one of him between multiple portraits? And if that is the case does that mean if someone has hundreds of portraits painted then its just a hundred empty frames and one figure between them? What if the paintings were does in different styles? One crazy picasso style and another soft monet style? How would that work? WHY DO I THINK ABOUT THIS SO MUCH

dont you think its kind of embarrassing that we have to make posts reminding people to respect dan and phils privacy??? like how ignorant must you be to think that it’s okay to leak someones address, we live in a world where if someone even takes a sneaky peak at your phone/ laptop screen we freak the hell out and you think it’s okay to post someones address on the internet where all of their followers can see??? i dont know if you’ve ever heard of ‘privacy’, its a crazy concept that some people quite obviously havent grasped yet, but i really think some people need to work on that. sorry, but im so mad right now, i just feel so bad that dan and phil have to deal with this.

While “Jurassic World” is just making its way into theaters, theories are already taking over the Internet faster than the dinos took over the original park.

Some of the wildest theories include the Barbasol can from the original movie somehow playing a major role. Other fans think the reason the kids are headed to the park is because it’s “Coupon Day.”

Find out more about how this crazy theory works here.

In-N-Out was founded by Harry Snyder, a World War II veteran. He was in Seattle, working as a caterer, when he met Esther, then a waitress at a restaurant where Harry used to eat. When they moved down to California together in 1948, they got a crazy idea to start a quaint little burger stand of their own across the street from where Harry grew up. Their burger stand would be the first of its kind in California and create technology still used today.

The story of how In-N-Out took over will make you love it even more

What is it with people making games in Unreal Engine that they feel the need to have specularity on EVERYTHING????

Wood paneling? Better make sure that has specular highlights

Toilet bowl? mmmmmmmm specularity

Rusted metal? So much specularity your eyes can’t even handle it

like, I get it, having shiny objects in games looks cool but have these people looked at real world objects to see how highlights actually work? Materials don’t have to have crazy specularity, you can tone that shit down! I shouldn’t be blinded by a toilet bowl of all things when my flashlight hits it in a game
