its a dangerous business

He often used to say there was only one Road; that it was like a great river: its springs were at every doorstep and every path was its tributary. “It’s a dangerous business, F R O D O, going out of your door,” he used to say. “You step into the Road, and if you don’t keep your feet, there is no telling where you might be swept off to.”

I’ve been working on this for a few days haha

So I tried my best to emulate Tomm Moore’s style in The Secret of Kells - one of my favorite films. It’s a really hard style to copy, but I feel very satisfied with the results. I also took the opportunity to experiment with different coloring techniques. It’s all just one huge experiment that actually ended pretty nicely.

'You step into the Road, and if you don’t keep your feet, there is no telling where you might be swept off to.’

To be honest it pisses me off when people bag on mentally ill people who take meds. Although doctors, I’m positive, /do/ needlessly prescribe medication it does not mean that medication is not useful at all. It’s unfortunate for people who get meds who don’t need them but some people /do/ need them, some people cant function without them. Leave them alone tbh. The medication people take is none of your business. The fact that they take medication for a mental illness doesnt give u the right to give them ‘advice’ and 'warn’ them of the dangers of drug companies. Its not ur business.

Remember what Bilbo used to say. Its a dangerous business going out your door.  You step onto the road and if you don’t keep your feet, there’s no knowing where you might be swept off to…

They’re going to the harbour beyond the white towers To the Grey Havens
They’re leaving Middle Earth
