Things that I find oddly satisfying to watch: Horse shoeing, its so satisfying watching bits of the horses hoof be chipped and scrapped off (dont worry by the way if you look it up, it doesn't hurt the horse its basically like getting your nails cut all neat and pretty)

Yoooo I used to watch a show on animal planet where they did that a lot!! I forget what show it was….horse police or something?? They’d respond to calls about neglectful horse owners and they’d take the horses and get them back to good health! I used to love that part when they’d trim down their hooves, you’re right, it is super satisfying! :3 (plus the horses always looked like they felt so much better afterward!)

Sonetimes there’s a war between your head and your heart. Your head always wants to make the most logical decisions, while your heart knows what is truly meant for you. Sometimes its necessary to listen to your heart, for the goodness of your mind and soul.
Todays motivation:

Its hard to start motivating and staying motivated. But the thing is, your body won’t change unless you do something. Actions do (in this case) speak louder than words! Whenever I’m lacking motivation I go on my blog and think “If I want a change I better be doing something to see the change, I want to look good, I want to feel confident, I want to be _____.” For me I want to look healthy and feel healthy, to fit in my old pair of jeans. To remember what it feels like to put on something and not feel like I have to suck in to make it look good on me. I want those changes, but eating unhealthy and not working out will not show any results. SO GET YOUR ASS UP AND LETS START SEEING RESULTS PPL

sorry to disappoint your neurotypical standards but do people who love to pressure the great mental health recovery agenda not realize that there are disorders where recovery isn’t an option like no offence but for me there’s nothing to recover from that’s just the way my brain has been since birth and i’ve sorta got used to living with the goods and bads by now

Voodoo Mama's Spellbook: Green Smoothie Potion for Psychic Abilities

A smoothie that will help you with your psychic powers! This smoothie tastes so good I’m not even kidding. It is very tangy if you’re into that. I use this when I am going to be doing psychic work, divination, or spirit work.


  • Half of a lemon, peeled. (Lemons are good with enhancing psychic powers as well as making you more open to the contact of spirits.) 
  • 1 mango (Good for spirituality) I usually cut these up and freeze them the day before so my smoothie is cold. 
  • Half of an apple. (For wisdom) 
  • 2 cups of baby spinach (for protection and health) You can leave this out if you wish. You won’t really taste them, though. Its just a healthy boost!
  • ½ cup of water 
  • OPTIONAL: A little sugar never hurts~


  1. Blend the smoothie, thinking of all the properties and put it into your cup. 
  2. If you practice voodoo/hoodoo, you can recite Psalm 89 over your cup. This is a psalm for psychic strength. If you have another practice, call upon your deity and ask them for their blessing on your drink.

Day 14: Act of Kindness

You’d be surprised how much a simple smile can turn a person’s day around. A lot of people are busy these days, but it doesn’t take much from you to give someone else the encouragement needed to get through a work week or a tough decision.

(sorry i’ve been neglectful, it’s not cuz i’ve given up. i’ve been getting ready for a trip and am now down with some friends–thankfully one of my friends is an artist too so she doesn’t mind just sitting and drawing for a few hours)

Confession: I don’t feel like I can truly be close to anyone. They say it’s good to vent or say how you feel but when you do its “you’re being negative” “stop complaining” “cut negative people out of your life”. I don’t want everyone to cut me out for saying how I feel, which I rarely do anyway because of that fear. I even feel like I submit here too much. It gets bottled up & I just want to feel like I can be me & express myself without being made to feel like I’m a bad person or toxic for it.

Is Like:
• Declawing a cat
• Stalling a horse the majority of its life
• keeping a goldfish in a tiny bowl
• stalling a cow for veil
• forcing a dog to stay with you and only move to where you want it

Is NOT like:
• cutting hair
• trimming nails
• leashing a dog for safety

Clipping a bird’s wings is detrimental to their health and completely unnecessary except for a select few medical reasons such as surgery. While it is painless if done right, there’s a good chance you can do it wrong and cause your bird to bleed to death since their blood doesn’t clot, and when done at all it could completely ruin your bird’s health and happiness. Flying is as natural for birds as running is for horses. When we take that away from them because it’s “dangerous” or inconvenient because we don’t want to bother teaching them a basic command like recall it does far more harm than good.

Clipping leads to permanent muscle deterioration and greatly increases the chance for fatty liver disease. It does not reduce or limit the chance of a bird flying away or escaping, in fact it increases it since the bird has far less control than if they had all their feathers. It leads to a bird becoming dependent on you for mobility and getting frustrated when you insist on it being somewhere it doesn’t want, leading to depression, feather plucking, and mutilation.

If you want a bird that doesn’t fly, get a chicken or heavy breed of pigeon. If you’re worried about it hitting windows, put decorative stickers on them, use window markers, or get blinds. If you like taking your bird outside (which is far more dangerous with a clipped bird) then harness train it or take it out in a cage. Just please, don’t clip your bird’s wings for your own damn convenience. It’s cruel and unnecessary.

I think the worst thing you could do with a chronic illness is focus on getting better. It will tear you down physically because you will mistake a good week as a “recovery” and it will tear you down mentally because you will eventually relapse. Focus on being as healthy as you possibly can. Make the most of it. Live in this moment and not next months. Slowly you will see your mental and physical health improve. Its funny how we never find the things we search for.

15 Rules to Live By
  1. If you’ve already eaten, do not take seconds unless everyone else has had firsts.
  2. if you use the last of the toilet paper, change the roll.
  3. Chew with your mouth closed like a proper human adult.
  4. Wash your dishes within 6 hours of use.
  5. During the day, keep all drapes open to let the sun in.
  6. During the warm months, keep the windows open so air can flow through the house. If its too hot, do this at night.
  7. If you’re bored, go outside.
  8. Keep the space tidy - exceptions are workbenches if they are in a basement or in a shed.
  9. Be in bed by 10 PM and up by 7 AM at the latest; I guarantee you its better for both your physical and mental health.
  10. No negative Nellies; there is always a silver lining. (Grieving through tragedy is different)
  11. No complaining about the snow. Embrace it and enjoy it while it lasts because before long, everyone will be complaining about the summer heat.
  12. There is no need for the faucet to be on full-blast.
  13. If someone is annoying you, be patient and wait for a while before gently asking them to stop. Likewise, if someone asks you to stop doing something, either stop, or make a fair compromise. The world does not revolve around you and patience is a virtue.
  14. Be sure that all lights and fans are off before you leave the house.
  15. Always do a quick wipe-down of all counters and sinks after you use them.

WARNINGS- angst 

 "C'mon Y/N, you have to eat! It’s not good for your health going so long without nutrition" my mom yells, forcing a plate of toast and fruit into my lap.

 I shake my head without saying a word. Ever since the affair, the move, and everything else, depression has taken its tole on my life. Doing the most mundane things can seem like a drastic task. Getting up out of my bed that has acted as my sanctuary is difficult enough, let alone working up any trace of an appetite. Mom huffs and rubs her temples in frustration. I turn my head to avoid eye contact owing to the fact that her deep eyes can make my soul shiver if she stares long enough. 

 "Okay, if I leave this in here will you at least try to eat some of it?“ She asks, a mixture of frustration and worry evident in her tired voice.

 I shrug but then nod so she will leave me alone to continue my sulking. She grabs a full plate of food sitting on my nightstand, from when she previously tried to make me eat, and left my room, shutting the door behind her. I sigh and rest my head on my hand, resuming my state of depression.

 "You know she’s right” a voice says, making me jump at the sudden noise filling the silence.

 I look up to see Tate hovering over my foot board, nervously tracing the engraved patterns on it. 

 "If you don’t eat you’ll starve, you don’t want to die, do you?“ He says, knitting his eyebrows together. 

 "But I hate it here Tate!” I yell, causing him to whip his head up in shock. “I hate having to sit day after day wishing I had a better life. I hate going to bed every night, remembering what I saw at that house. I hate having to go to bed, hoping and praying I don’t wake up! So dying seems to be the epitome of bliss right now!” I practically scream. 

 He looks at me in utter shock. Did those words really come out of your mouth? The Y/N he knew would never actually say that and mean it, would she? He inhales sharply and opens his mouth to speak, but is at a loss for words. He then leaves the room and disappears for a good 10 minutes. I really don’t notice his absence until he comes back carrying a bowl with a spoon. He nervously sits down next to me, keeping a reasonable distance. 

 "I know this is your favorite, you can’t turn it down" he says, handing me a bowl of soup from my favorite brand.

 I smile gently at his offer and take a bite, too guilty to turn his caring gesture down. I eat about 4 spoonfuls before handing him the bowl. He grins lightly and takes it, his face falling immediately into a grimace. I then begin to feel sick, extremely sick. I cough rapidly, not able to catch my breath enough to breathe. He looks at me struggling and tenses as he sees my state of being. White foam begins spilling out of my mouth and my entire body collapses onto the hard floor. I begin seizing uncontrollably until my system completely goes numb. 

 "I’m sorry Y/N, you’re not in pain anymore. You can be with me forever, now.“
