You know the thing about him I noticed that I haven’t seen anyone mention? He’s a sniper with PTSD right? And there’s that scene where he points his rifle at the enemy sniper in the tower and can’t pull the trigger. And usually that would mean that the main character would end up having a conversation with him after which he’d get a ‘second opportunity’ to take that shot and this time wouldn’t flinch.
And we’d be supposed to be proud of him because he ‘overcame his trauma’ by… doing the thing that caused his trauma in the first place?
BUT THAT’S NOT WHAT HAPPENED HERE, instead we get an amazing scene where when Charlie thinks there’s no point in him going with them for their mission Diana smiles at him and tells him that there is: without him they wouldn’t have anyone to sing to them.
And I thought it was just so… in line with the message this movie was sending. And so true to Diana’s character.
Because in her eyes Charlie’s value as a person or a friend doesn’t rest in whether or not he can pull the trigger and kill.
And I though it was important.
I mean this movie was filled with many such small but significant moments that addressed things like sexism and racism and the atrocities of colonization, and I’d mention them all it’s just that this one was one I hadn’t seen someone already discussing.
“I started the album end of Feb last year for about three weeks and then had to stop for about 5 months when I went to do a movie. I came back to it in July and finished writing it in December. For a while before all I thought about it was stressing about what it was going to be. It gave me a chance to completely step away from it for a bit and have a real break. By the end of the movie, because we were swimming so much I just wanted to write songs…I think we wrote about 70 songs - we did 50 songs and ideas in Jamaica and that’s including like little ideas. Well full songs, I say there are 30 songs probably. One of the songs on the album, I wrote a few years ago.”
On his album
“I was with the guys who I was writing it with and we just wanted to make what we wanted to listen to and that has been the most fun part for me about making the whole album. In the least weird way possible, it’s my favourite album to listen to at the moment… I hope we did a good job but I really like the album so I hope people like it. I think if you put out something that you don’t stand behind and really love, then if it doesn’t go well then you could regret not doing what you wanted to do. Whereas if nothing happens with it, I love it you know so I think that’s what you should do. I think that’s been my favourite part to the overall thing is listening to the album and making all the changes – it has been fun to watch over it all.”
Writing in Jamaica
“I just wanted to not be somewhere that I’d get distracted. It was 360 of writing, you’d go home for dinner, write at the house then go back to the studio. I liked being away from everything and doing it like that.”
About his debut single
“It’s a bit weird, I feel like I’ve been hibernating for so long now and you hear it in the safety of the studio and now it’s time to give birth … it’s the song (debut single) I’m most proud of writing.”
About making it on his own
“I’ve been hibernating trying to get it all ready, that’s been fun, but I like this bit as well. I think it’s gonna be fun, it’s gonna be good. It’s not like I’m travelling on my own now, I have a band and everything and they’re amazing.”
“I played him (Sheeran) a few songs after the album was finished. He didn’t say that he didn’t like any, but he did like one song that isn’t on the album. So I did have a bit of a minute of like hmmm no but…”
“I’ve spoken to her a little bit, she knows one of the guys that I wrote it with (his music) a lot. But I don’t think so much advice, I just like how she does stuff. I think she leads by example, she’s the biggest, she’s amazing, she’s the best so she should be the biggest. The thing with her is she’s a different thing, she’s just good at it, I like how she does everything, it looks very nice. For my 21st she gave me one of her albums 21 and said, ‘I did some pretty cool stuff when I was 21, good luck’ and I was like, 'geez’.”
“I haven’t dated in a long time really because I went away to do the movie then did the album so I haven’t in a while. I have a couple of candles left still though.
Whether dating when famous is hard
“I don’t know, maybe. I feel like with all of the stuff how people date now, with all online stuff, I feel like you can do that (Google) with anyone really if you’re looking at someone’s profile before seeing them. It’s kinda the same… No, I used to (research dates), then I said I’m not going to do that anymore, it’s impossible to go in without a perception of someone and you’ve never met them and I started feeling like that was wrong and weird. I think I snore, and also I quite like routine, so I don’t know if I’m incredibly spontaneous.”
Cutting his hair for Dunkirk
“I felt very naked for a while. I was like yeah, I’ve gotta shave my hair off. It wasn’t a hard decision, it got made into a wig.”
Why he rarely tweets
“I don’t like saying something for the sake of it.”
Life at home and work
“The first time I went home not wearing trainers, I was in a pair of boots. Someone said, ‘What the bloody hell are they?’ I like to separate working and being at home with family.”
“It’s easier in the way that I like to separate stuff from working and being at home with family and stuff. When you separate it it’s easier to see it for what it is. When you let it become everything and that’s your whole life, then it’s easy to get a bit lost in it. I’m lucky, I have amazing friends and my family’s amazing so I think they make it easier to keep the separation between the two which makes it easier for me.”
Being nervous about playing his music to others
“I think it’s nerve-racking in that I’ve only played it to like 10 people in a room. I try and not be there if I’m playing it…”
His mother and step-father’s reactions to the album
“I played the album to them the first time and there’s one song that’s got a vocal effect on it, the whole album finished then my stepdad said: ‘I’ve one question, where did you get the duck from, how did you get a duck in the studio?’ I was like: ‘That was me, thanks’. My Mum liked it which was handy. She cried a couple of times which was good, I think that was good.”
“I think it’s hard to not have influencers from what you grew up listening on. I think everyone reacts differently to different types of music. I had a good range between my mum and dad… my dad listened to Fleetwood, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd and Queen. My mum was like Norah Jones and Savage Garden. There are a lot of melodies there.”
Being starstruck by other celebrities
“I remember the first time we went to an awards show in the US, we met Will Smith. It was a brief meeting – he was nice and very tall.”
Addressing the rumour about getting a sheep placenta facial
“No I’ve never had a sheep placenta facial.”
Rumours about Hobama
“I’m not allowed to talk about that.”
Rumour on taking his dates on helicopter rides
“No I’ve never done that,” Harry says, with Grimmy responding: “Not even with Barack?”
“No,“ Harry says. “It was his helicopter, haha.”
Talking about Chris Martin
“He’s lovely isn’t he? He is good at telling you to take care of yourself. I think he makes sure you are alright and is very zen. I think he is a pretty wonderful man.”
On Ronnie Wood
“Big fan, I love Ronnie Wood – I think I met him at a dinner party a few years ago and went to a couple of Stones shows…I think he is the nicest.”
Interviewing Paul McCartney for his Another Man issue
“It was amazing – his voice sounds like a song.”
Loving scented candles
“I mean I think everyone loves scented candles. But I usually take one from home if I’m travelling.”
About sprouts being the new kale
“I went two days ago. I got some spinach, eggs, OJ, milk, turkey and some brussels sprouts. Hmm what else did I buy…oh some Crème Eggs. I like putting sprouts in a curry and I like sauteing them. I think they are going to be the new kale. I met [someone] and I asked her what she did and she said ‘I’m the PR lady for Kale’ and I was like ‘good job then.”
Talking about his four nipples
“Still got them, managed to keep them. Maybe I just hide them in limited edition albums, like golden tickets. I’ll hold onto them.”
“Best trait I don’t know, it’s weird to pick your best, shall we go with the nipples thing.”
On where not to ask him for a selfie
“I think in toilets is the weirdest one. It’s happened a couple of times… When someone tries to shake your hand right after having a wee, ‘I might wash my hands first’.”
About Liam’s son and being a potential godfather
“I spoke to Liam and he’s loving it. He said it’s going really well and everyone’s great. So I’m very happy for him. I think it’s a roll of the dice, there are a lot of people Liam has in mind. I’m not going to add any extra pressure. If it came my way I would be honoured.”
I decided to become an artist when I was about your age. I liked to draw so much, I almost hated to go to bed. And then one day, all of a sudden, I couldn’t draw anything. Everything I drew, I didn’t like. I realized that my art up to then was a copy of someone else, things I had seen somewhere. I decided I had to discover my own style. It’s still difficult. But then, the results… They seem to be a little better than before. It’s nice to be a witch, isn’t it? I like the idea - to be a witch, to be an artist, to be a baker… It’s an energy bestowed by the gods or someone, right? Though thanks to it, we do have to suffer at times.
Update (4/7/17): Following the recent patches increasing Dark Vader’s skillset, he has quickly risen through the ranks of the tier list, and it remains to be seen how the coming patches will change how he operates. DJ Slime Time’s Mounted and Unmounted modes are now counted as separate fighters due to ease of access.
Update (6/1/17): Following the addition of Todd Coolbody, Dark Vader has fallen back to his original place in the Tier List. Patch balance has moved around certain fighters. DJ Slime Time has been consolidated back into one fighter to avoid confusion. No data on rumored “Touch DLC Bundle”.
The Final Pam: Easily the most powerful of all the monsters. Has a special move that summons a plethora of mines with no recoil damage. Remains banned in competitive play.
Mëlissa: The strongest fighting game character ever, yet not quite on the level of The Final Pam. Regardless, has amazing combo potential and is incredibly fast.
Knife Dad: Though his knives are weak, he himself is incredibly powerful, and he has his children following his every command. A tough one to beat.
SHRECK THE MOVIE: Has numerous allies and is quite ready to wield them and do you dirty in front of you dad.
Chiquita Dave: Can create clones of himself and has access to a wide plethora of spells. His low health is easily offset by his ability to create a clone to take his place.
Truck Shepard: The patches still haven’t fixed his face’s hitboxes. This allows for great, confusing combos as his face distorts violently.
DJ Slime Time: When unmounted, she cannot be grabbed due to her grandma grease, and she she has unlimited jump height. However, she has a very low range of offensive skills. When mounted, her horse does contact damage while she’s riding it, however she can be grabbed in this mode. Skilled users have kept her safe on her spot.
Trüllbus the Crime Eater: His DQ-sponsored weaponry notwithstanding, he still has a mean left hook, and his “self-defense” revenge mechanic is nothing to scoff at.
Turbovicki: The ultimate athlete and defeater of the Foot Clan. Her sports equipment comes in handy here.
D- Bomb: A long-range fighter who shoots from a distance and summons Deathclaws and the like. A hassle to get in range of.
Christopher “The Pebble” C. C. Christopher: Though he may be the failed The Rock clone, he is still one hell of a wrestler.
Toucan Dan: Great combos, but lack of any ranged option and low standalone damage doesn’t give us much.
Jorstin Rude Boy Man: A combo-focused grappler, a nice mix up, but unfortunately, with low accuracy, you can only go so far.
Todd Coolbody: Replaces Dark Vader on his spot in the last patch. Can summon his fellow sitcom stars to attack, but like many summon fighters, they all have unique ranges and hitboxes to be mindful of. Powerful strikes.
Randyjohnson & Panpan: Though Randyjohnson is slow, her ability to use Panpan as a secondary fighter/projectile is matched only by Ratbaby’s usage of Vape Life.
Boy-Mayor of Second Life & Totino’s: A grand tag team, but the harsh campaign trail does nothing for their physical fighting ability. Totino’s can make pizza happen, though. Boy-Mayor, though less agile than his tag-team partner, is physically stronger.
Ratbaby & Vape Life: Ratbaby has an incredibly small hitbox, but any damage done to Vape Life is also done to Ratbaby, and if you catch both of them in the same combo, it does 2x the damage.
Borth Sampson: Incredible kicks, but disjointed movement.
The Junker: Not too good at what he does, but he does have a stunning move.
Squirtle: Still with weak physical blows, the recent patch has added onto him some potent water moves. Stronger than before.
#NOID: Slow, but powerful. Use with caution.
G.A.R.F.I.E.L.D.:The fastest character in the entire list, can create horses, but this means nothing when your defenses are glass.
Daz: Lack of moves that aren’t him just hitting you with a birdie. Very predictable.
Succotash: Can fly infinitely, but is easy to hit.
Dark Vader: Has fallen back into his initial place, can no longer summon anyone beyond Cousin Specialagent.
Jefferson Tallpipe: The only low-tier character to be banned in competitive play, but only because of his indecent moveset.
Dino-Lansbury: Old age has caught up to her, but she can still summon prehistoric monsters. They’re rather slow and easily avoidable, unfortunately.
J’aam: No specials, patch to fix this has not been confirmed.
Trash Hulk: All his specials do damage to himself instead of any damage to the enemy. Bad.
Summary: Requested by @fantastic-fantasy-fanfics:
For your fluff week, could you please write a Steve x reader fic where the reader breaks her arm or something during a mission so she has to stay in the tower to heal. After a while she gets really bored and glum so Steve takes her out to cheer her up? Maybe by taking her duck feeding or to the zoo or something.
Word Count: 3,254
A/N: One of my favorites ever. I hope you all enjoy <3
Stepping into the common room,
Steve couldn’t help the affectionate smile that bloomed on his lips. You were
sprawled on the couch, looking every part the most miserable person, groaning
at the roof, head pulled back on the armrest. Your broken arm was in a cast,
resting on your chest, the TV’s remote thrown on the floor right next to the
arm you had hanging off the sofa. The television was still on, but you weren’t
paying attention to it, and Steve suspected it was because you were bored.
He walked forward and cleared his
throat, letting you know he was there. That sound made you sit up and you spun
your head around until your eyes met. Steve grinned.
“Are you doing okay?”
You glowered. “No. I’m bored as all
hell and there’s nothing to do in this stupid place that doesn’t require both
of my hands.”
What I noticed and observed about them: (3 Males & 2 Females)
They are the introverts with a lot of friends.
Each of them have some sort of hidden talent that I don’t even know why they keep hidden in the first place. They are just so humble. (It’s annoying– I LOVE THEM). Their hidden talent most likely has something to do with the arts.
They are writers. The ones I know write blog posts, poetry, witty Facebook statuses, music, and lyrics. Self-expression is definitely a necessity for them.
Two of the INFP males I know have this innocent aura that will make you want to be super nice to them and even take care of them and not bully them even if they look so easy to bully. They’re that pure.
The other INFP male I know looked very tense and jittery before I first talked to him. But once I got him to start talking, he easily opened up. You just gotta reach out first.
Once you reach out to them, they will open up and you’ll discover that they are such cool people with strong opinions and beliefs. (pretty much closet ENFPs)
The two INFP females on the other hand were the ones who seemed loud at first–probably ‘cause they were with their friends–but ended up being really deep and humble people (I love it).
They are nice and civil to everyone. They don’t show it when they dislike someone (however, their close friends will know). They’re just that easygoing, which is why they have a lot of friends. (who are actually just mostly acquaintances to them–but they won’t tell them)
They have such good humor. Especially their sarcasm. AND THE TIMING OF THEIR JOKES IS PERFECT.
When they’re with their friends, you wouldn’t even think they’re introverts. They are so loud and lively with them (mostly the girl INFPs I’ve met are like this–the INFP males on the other hand are more obviously introverted).
Everyone likes them.I’m serious, what’s not to like? They are such good-hearted and open-minded people (even if they have strong beliefs). Before you know it, you’re completely yourself when you’re around them. They just make you feel homey.
When they’re in a bad mood, they distance themselves. They just don’t want to be a burden, even to their friends. No matter how many times you insist to be there for them, they will shake their heads and handle their problems by themselves. After all, the fight is in their head.
When they present alone in front (in class), they can be the most awkward people ever. But they do have a lot of meaningful things to say. They just aren’t used to taking the stage.
Most of the ones I know suffer with anxiety. This is most likely due to the fact that they feel so deeply and tend to keep it inside–after all, Fi is their most dominant function.
They are the nicest people ever (even if it’s not all that obvious), but if you hurt them on purpose–they will remember you for it. But they will forgive (on the outside).
They are the life of the partyeven if they aren’t loud. I don’t know, like when they aren’t present in their group of friends–there is obviously something missing.
They are good with one-on-one conversations. It’s amazing how even though they aren’t good with big crowds, they have this ability to talk to a stranger for a second and make them feel comfortable (if they want to, that is).
They are not boring– at all. It’s an Ne thing–their second dominant function–that makes them so talkative and animated. If they aren’t talking about something, they’re either making weird sounds to make others laugh or saying funny movie lines aloud (similar to INTPs).
They are smart. They have their own way of understanding things and they are not clueless–I swear, they know a little about everything. Just give them a topic, and they will have an opinion about it.
They have trouble saying no.I swear, the last thing they want to do is hurt someone. (Unless it’s for justice)
Music is extremely important to them. The INFPs I know either dance, play guitar, sing, or well–just need their earphones with them everyday to block out the world when they feel like it.
The vibes they give off, equal to their current mood. They are infectious.
Well, what do you guys think? :) Agree or disagree?
77/11/26 or 26th November 1977. I googled it and the very first hit was something called the Southern Television Broadcast Interruption that happened on that date. This is it:
This video is titled “alien broadcast” or something, but it’s actually real footage of a real thing that happened on 26th November 1977 (a real hoax, done by people, not aliens). It was a broadcast interruption through the Hannington transmitter of the Independent Broadcasting Authority in the UK on 26th Nov, 1977. The interruption is generally considered to be a hoax, and the hijaker remains unknown. The interruption lasted 6 minutes, and took over the sound, leaving the video signal unaltered aside from some picture distortion. The speaker claimed to be a representative of the “Intergalactic Association”. It interrupted the news, then transmission returned to normal shortly after. Southern Television later apologised for a “breakthrough in sound”.
An explanation is given for how this security breach could have happened: “At that time, the Hannington UHF television transmitter was unusual in being one of the few transmitters which rebroadcast an off-air signal received from another transmitter (Southern Television’s Rowridge transmitter on the Isle of Wight), rather than being fed directly by a landline. As a consequence it was open to this kind of signal intrusion, as even a relatively low-powered transmission very close to the receiver could overwhelm its reception of the intended signal, resulting in the unauthorised transmission being amplified and rebroadcast across a far wider area. The IBA stated that to carry out a hoax would take “a considerable amount of technical know-how" and a spokesman for Southern Television confirmed that "A hoaxer jammed our transmitter in the wilds of North Hampshire by taking another transmitter very close to it.” However, like the Max Headroom broadcast signal intrusion a decade later, the identity of the intruder was never confirmed.
** Which means they had planned the HLV broadcast signal interruption story line before they even made the props for ASiP **
After all that I went on to casually start reading about Max Headroom (a weird thing I actually watched on TV in the 80s when I was little and the satire and subtext of it were beyond me) and found the British made pilot, titled “20 minutes into the future”. Weirdly, it’s very very relevant, and I don’t know if this cabbie number clue was meant to point me towards this, but it did anyway. I pointed out shortly after TLD aired that “20 minutes” had been said quite a few times in TLD, and that it was probably important (also see this and this). Also, mentions of 20 minutes in TLD and elsewhere are almost without fail a reference to something that’s going to happen in 20 minutes time, that is, 20 minutes in the future, as if it’s a countdown to something. Culverton’s life will change in exactly 20 minutes. John asks Sherlock if he will be okay by himself for 20 minutes.
To tell you the short version for now… the movie “Max Headroom: 20 minutes into the future” is about an evil television network hiding a dangerous truth from it’s viewers. People are dying because of this secret, in a most violent and terrifying way. A journalist is working to uncover the truth, and while doing so has an accident and is “brain dead” at one point before resurrecting himself from a morgue and coming back to complete his mission - *spoiler* the hero (the journalist) finally uncovers the truth! And reveals it to all via a live television transmission.
I also like this parallel …The evil television network had taken the face of a dead man (the journalist) and used circa 1985 computer technology to animate his face so that he could continue to appear on camera in order to convince the public that he was still alive. Essentially, they turned him into a puppet.
The fact that we only see Moriarty’s head, and the unusual choice of backdrop for this shot of dummy!Jim which looks like it might possibly have been inspired by the amazing Max Headroom animation grid background..
…is all hopefully just a reference to the fact that someone was using Jim’s image to trick the public into thinking he was still alive when he wasn’t (even though in the movie he was actually still alive). Basically, the movie is about the media as a villain, hiding truths from viewers and brainwashing them, and a small band of rebel journalists (from within the evil media) who go on a mission to reveal this truth to the public. And they do reveal it, and the rebels win :) You can watch the movie here.
I finally got to see Logan this weekend and it’s truly an amazing film with perhaps some of the finest overall cast performances ever in a Super Hero movie. Hugh Jackman couldn’t have said goodbye to the Wolverine in a more powerful and poignant manner and James Mangold simply knocked it clean out of the park. I’m so honored and flattered to have been asked to be a small part of this movie and thrilled for everyone involved that it’s being received so well.
For those that asked, here are the digital pencils I contributed to the movie. These were taken by the magnificently talented, though slightly annoying, Dan Panosian who inked, colored and effected them to look like a classic X-Men comic from the 90’s.
Markiplier Theory: Markiplier’s Egos are trying to take over through TV- but why?
But Dark isn’t the one who’s the top power. He’s on the other end. He’s just the other guy who’s controlling the meeting.
The other one was standing. Wilford Warfstache. And by visual, that means he’s controlling the team. He’s the one manning the ship. And by technicalities, that means he’s the one fueling the movement of the egos, since in meetings the one who’s standing is the project head.
Dark wanted to take control, but failed all the time. He literally cracks all the time when he possesses Mark. The real ending with ADWM is that he doesn’t even win. You still get the ‘retry’ option after it because it’s not the ending that you’re supposed to get. He’s still defeated.
Dark reinforces his admiration to Wilford in the video. He says “Look. Will. I respect you. I always had.” He turned to Wilford because he’s not the one who could do it.
Wilford has always been a seamless character, no problems in confronting Mark head-on. He has been on TV for so many times (though ending in a bad way). Wilford has interviewed Mark, Slenderman, FNAF guys, and all. He has the most power out of all the egos.
Take note he’s the base character/ego. He’s literally the one on Mark’s profile pic forever.
Wilford hijacks the game that was initially for Bim Trimmer. He hijacks the Bubbles commercial. He’s the one presenting the idea to everyone. And his idea is amazing. Because TV isn’t only for TV anymore.
You can get TV shows through the internet. TV is the main media- you get news, you get drama, movies, et cetera. And now the egos are targeting that.
This also implies Wilford got every, single possible ego to help him in the endeavor. It might have been lost in Dark’s eyes (he’s not one for entertainment. He doesn’t get it. But he still concedes because it’s Wilford.) There were new egos introduced here.
Now: Everyone’s roles in the TV Industry
Game Show Segments: Bim Trimmer. He was the one who decided the game, and hosts on weird conditions. He had the Disc of Riches, and most probably others too.
Commercials/Advertisements Segments: Ad Mark (probably akin to Scent O’ Iplier advertisement) is seen and heard in the Bubbles segment.
Ed Edgar Adopt-a-Lot, who was supposed to have a “30 second segment, barely getting 5”. He wants the money.
Movies/Series: Silver Surfer. What’s the most prominent series right now? It’s usually the ones with heroes. He says “he took a break from crime fighting to pursue entertainment”. He’s the one that’s going to star in those series, usually on Netflix. Another one, akin to “House, Grey’s Anatomy, etc”, Dr. Iplier is going to be the star. He says “I came across as a professional and handsome actor.” Let it be known that the ‘hit’ looks for doctors are hot ones- which Dr. Iplier readily knows. However it is to be noted that Septiplier is an actual ego (lol) which might have been a romantic segment for a series.
News: The Jims. Both are Jims- Jim the head newscaster, and the weather reporter. This means that they are literally broadcasting, not only to TV, but on radio and newspaper as well. The other Jim was on the Sun as well. This implies their range of power. Probably has connections all over the world because of their status of being reporters.
Music: Mark Bop. Akin to MTV, this one is targeting the music industry. He’s alive and bringing back the classics, and most probably going to make more. He’s doing revivals, he’s going to dominate.
Reality TV: Possibly the only one that was intended to where the ‘real’ Mark and the team were supposed to show up. They are shown as the ‘actors’ of their ‘roles’- with Mark as Markiplier, Amy as Peebles, Kathryn as Editor, Tyler as Apocalypto_12, and Ethan as Crankgameplays. (This still means that Wilford got them to do this for Markiplier TV.)
— Also the segments of “Bad Dog” can be compared to those series you’d see on AXN, like Breaking the Magician’s Code. Mark ‘crying’ and the subscriber drop is a close second here, most probably those series with “Living with the…” titles. It is important to note that Kathryn was also there at Wilford in the Disc of Riches, where the whole team was. It might be speculated that the Teamiplier are just actors, and Tyler just acted dead because it’s obvious Wilford didn’t really have bullets when it sounded, and Kathryn was more of the behind-the-scenes type.—-
Other possible TV segments: Informational-Probably like Nat Geo, King of the Squirrels might be in this part, however he is shown to be out of the meeting- possibly because it’s a so-so segment. Wilford doesn’t know what to do yet with him, alongside the many other missing egos. Talk Show- maybe more directed to Wilford or Bim Trimmer.
Technical Run Through: Google. He’s the one who keeps them at bay, to let them remember their ‘primary objective’. With his role in the meeting room, it can be assumed that he is the one holding the technical stuff- when the episodes air, how the lighting is, cameras are placed, etc. This also means that whatever is shown on TV will be uploaded on the internet. It will be easily accessible. Alongside him is The Author, now known as The Host. He tells how everything goes in how the things should go. He’s the scriptwriter. He’s the director. He literally is a host to the people watching Television. Without the structure of a show, how does one run? Without the audience’s help, how does a show follow through? Without good mediums, who will like it? That’s his job.
Now, Dark and Wilford are the acting CEOs. They don’t necessarily have the segments, but that mean they are the ones who are going to control the whole operation. Dark’s probably like the ‘president’ and Wilford is the ‘CEO’ of Markiplier TV. (President: Second-in-command. CEO: owner, chief). Usually the CEO who is on screen more than the president, which makes sense in this way.
Gina Prince-Bythewood, who wrote and directed The Secret Life of Bees, will direct Silver and Black, Sony’s Spider-Man offshoot that centers on characters Silver Sable and the Black Cat.
Silver Sable, created by Tom DeFalco and Ron Frenz in 1985, is a mercenary who runs a company that hunts war criminals. The character has been both antagonist and ally to Spider-Man.
Black Cat, an acrobatic cat burglar whose real name is Felicia Hardy, has a long and tangled romantic history with Spider-Man in the comics. The character was cut from scripts for the Sam Raimi Spider-Man trilogy, and a “Felicia Hardy” (played by Felicity Jones) briefly appeared in Amazing Spider-Man 2, though no Black Cat connection was ever made explicit.
Note: This deal will make Prince-Bythewood the first black woman to direct a superhero movie, the second woman of colour (following Lexi Alexander) and the 4th woman overall to direct a live-action superhero feature film following Lexi Alexander, Patty Jenkins and Anna Boden (co-directing with Ryan Fleck).
You weren’t suppose to leave. I wasn’t suppose to be in the pain I am right now. We were suppose to be together doing everything we loved to do, like go on random trips to random places and eat all the food we loved. I’d be holding your hand as we drove, and sneak over the occasional kisses. We would have our amazing dates where we would dress up, as well as our staying in dates, where we would watch all your favorite shows and movies. Even though I didn’t like some, you know I would always do anything for you. We would have our late night conversations about the most random things like aliens and mermaids. Or about the universe and how we both believed we were soulmates. I’d be admiring the sleeping figure in my arms as your breathing evened out. I’d be observing you as you slept, and not to be creepy at all, but I would always do it any chance I got because dear God, you were so perfect and so unaware of it. I could have sworn you were the one. You brought so much happiness to my life and you made it complete. You encouraged me and believed in me when no one else did. But what happened? How did I end up in the corner of my room sobbing as you left and took my life with you? How did it end like this?
Hi there! So um, this is my first imagine for this blog, but I’m no stranger to
the art of x readering. I’ve been writing these for over a year now, I think.
Anyway, Beauty and the Beast was always my favorite Disney movie as a kid, and
I’ve already seen the new one twice. It’s amazing. So, here we are.
You had stumbled upon the enchanted castle
about a month ago. Maybe less. Maybe it had been longer than that. It was so
hard to keep track of time here. And though the place was odd and enchanted and
sometimes scary, you couldn’t deny the beauty concealed in the darkness.
“Miss, the master is ready for dinner.”
Mrs. Potts, one of the castle’s many enchanted caretakers rolled into your room
on her cart. She was accompanied by her son, Chip.
“Tell him I’ll be down in a few minutes.”
Madame Garderobe was currently in the process of pulling your hair into an
intricate braid. “We’re kind of…in the middle of something here.”
“There’s no rushing beauty~” the wardrobe
sang. Every time she belted her soprano notes, you feared a window would
The cart rolled out of the door and down
the hall. A few minutes later, you were finally ready, dressed in a gorgeous
pink gown. You hurried down the halls, down the stairs to the dining room,
where the Beast was waiting for you.
“Sorry I’m late,” you breathed, taking your
seat at the end of the table opposite him. “Garderobe decided to try something
new with my hair.”
You could have sworn you saw a soft smile
on his fur-covered face.
“It looks nice.” He stated and then paused.
“You look nice.”
“Well, thank you.” A blush crept onto your
cheeks. The two of you began to eat.
“You know, you’ve never seemed homesick in the
time you’ve been here.” He pointed out.
“There’s nothing to miss. Not where I’m
from.” You shook your head. A certain sadness waited behind your gaze. He
raised an eyebrow. “I was kind of…outcast. I suppose that’s the best way to put
“They thought I was too headstrong. They
didn’t like a woman that couldn’t be controlled.” You shook your head. “Because
I wasn’t married, I didn’t have access to the things men did. They expected me
to cook and clean and bear children, but that’s…not what I want to do with my
life. I want to be a doctor. They don’t think I’m educated enough.”
“That doesn’t seem right.”
“It’s not.” You shook your head. “It wasn’t.
So I left. And I found this place.”
“Well, if it means anything…” He took a
somewhat nervous breath. “You’ll never be an outcast so long as you’re here.
You’ll always be welcome here.” When he peered into your eyes, you could tell
he meant it. Emotion swept over you in a deep, warm wave. Tears filled your
eyes and you couldn’t stop them from trickling down your cheeks.
The Beast stood up to come over to you at the
same time you did. You practically ran to him, and while he was expecting the
sting of a slap or rejection, what he received was something much different. It
was a hug.
His eyes widened as he realized what had
happened. You were standing there, your arms around his wide frame with tears dripping
from your eyes. He looked down at you for a few moments before gingerly
embracing you. His touches were tentative, careful. The last thing he wanted
was for you to recoil in disgust, in fear of the monstrous creature he had
become. Admittedly, it had been a long time since anyone had showed him
affection, even something as simple as an embrace.
“I’m sorry if I said something wrong-” he
began to apologize, unsure of the cause of your sudden emotional breakdown.
“I wish the people back home were like you.”
Your voice was quiet, broken. You gripped him tightly, continuing to sob in
relief, or perhaps in realization that you had finally found somewhere that
accepted you for who you truly were. “Thank
At your words, the Beast’s jaw dropped. And
it was in that moment that he realized, like a whisper in the back of his mind:
you had to be the one.

A/N: This is me proving to myself I still remember how to smut. I haven’t written anything smutty for the longest of times and I have been feeling like it lately. It was harder than I thought getting back into the saddle though. Sorry if it is a bit rough - pun not intended.
It is somewhat inspired by the Ed Sheeran song Shape of You - and maybe a little by the video too.
“Fuck,” she breathed out, instantly drawing Jensen’s attention. He was sprawled out his couch, waiting for Y/N to return to his side. It was movie night and she hadn’t bothered leaving the room to take the phone call. Jensen never eaves dropped and even if he was to overhear something it wouldn’t matter. There was nothing to two of them hid from each other. Literally nothing.
They had both been single for a while and some drunken night they had come to the conclusion, that helping each other blow off some steam when either of them needed it was much prefered from picking up some random dude or chick at a bar.
“If you want I am game,” Jensen teased her, throwing her his best Dean smirk, making her eyes roll so hard he was sure Jared would hear it across the hall from Jensen’s apartment.
“It’s not funny, Jensen! They offered me the part. I’m gonna be Wonder Woman,” she complained, making Jensen shoot from the couch and wrap her in his arms, spinning her around the air not caring one bit about her objection.
“That’s amazing Y/N/N,” he laughed putting her down but not releasing her from his hold, “what are you so worried about?” Jensen gently stroked her hair away from her face, studying her face and trying to figure out why she wasn’t over the moon about this. She had a tendency to overthink things. He knew that. He literally spent 2 hours on the floor of her bedroom leaning against her bathroom door trying to talk her out after the first night they had slept together.
Anon asked: Agent au idea: ok so the pair share a kiss but it is picked up by a security camera. Laf or anyone else (LAURENS OMG) is monitoring outside in some kind of agent van? (Idk like in the movies?) tHEN Laf sees the kiss. When the mission is done, he teases them then Alex is angry/embarrassed (but lowkey happy) and Thomas is still kinda shocked. ITS SO SPECIFIC BUT PLS THIS WOULD BE AMAZING TO SEE ❤️
This was SOOO good thanks for sending the prompt. I choose Laf and Peggy though bc i need more leggy memes… if ur wondering why laf has dreads it’s because I based him off chris lee. (i forgot the facial hair help)
