“Jesper knocked his head against the hull and cast his eyes heavenward. “Fine. But if Pekka Rollins kills us all, I’m going to get Wylan’s ghost to teach my ghost how to play the flute just so that I can annoy the hell out of your ghost.”

Brekker’s lips quirked. “I’ll just hire Matthias’ ghost to kick your ghost’s ass.”

“My ghost won’t associate with your ghost,” Matthias said primly, and then wondered if the sea air was rotting his brain.”

My English teacher left me very confused when learning about Romeo and Juliet. He said that it wasn't a love story because they didn't love each other; Juliet just basically used Romeo, but I don't know what to think. Can you please explain to me if it's a love story, tragedy, or both?

Did your teacher say that Juliet used Romeo? How rude.

The first thing we have to remember is that the feud is the exponent of an unhealthy ideology that promotes violence, hatred, prejudice, and brutal misogyny. Don’t ever forget the world they lived in. Romeo and Juliet are not normal teenagers living in a normal world and making stupid decisions. They are children whose mental health ends up destroyed by the ideals of their families. I just won’t stand anyone who refers to them as ‘dumb’ because it’s a very insulting way of dismissing the destructiveness of social oppression and abuse. It’s so evident that their families caused their deaths that at the end of the play nobody has the guts to blame them for their own deaths and dismiss their emotions as shallow or dishonest. What they have done is too monstrous for them to deny. When both patriarchs find the young lovers dead together in the crypt they see the wrong in their actions and take responsibility for it. They know they killed their children. It was not teenage folly that ruined Romeo and Juliet. It was a sick society that glorified violence and prejudice.

Perhaps your male teacher is annoyed by the fact that Juliet hardly fits in the role of a sixteenth-century obedient wife who goes along with whatever her husband has to say. On the contrary, Juliet has a voice of her own. It is evident from the first conversation between the lovers that she has a very particular, specific way of thinking, and which doesn’t necessarily match that of Romeo. For instance, she gently mocks his stereotyped courtship when she says “you kiss by the book.” I would say she is a far better poet than him—he actually learns from her. Think about the way she corrects him when he tries to swear his love by the moon. She literally rationalizes everything. Romeo needs to get on her level. Later on, he will ask her to “sweeten with thy breath / This neighbour air, and let rich music’s tongue / Unfold the imagined happiness that both / Receive in either by this dear encounter,” to which Juliet answers that “conceit, more rich in matter than in words, / Brags of his substance, not of ornament”. You see, she doesn’t always agree with him, and she presents her own points of view resolutely. She is the one to give lessons.

Imagine getting Jealous when someone flirts with your boyfriend (Castiel)

Word count: 545

Request by: Anon - Hi could you do a one shot where Castiel and the reader are a couple and on a hunt another woman flirts with Cas (Cas is oblivious) and the reader gets jealous. So Cas reminds Reader that he only had eyes for her.

A/N: Requests would be super appreciated since I haven’t had one in a while (I’m really in the mood to write some good Lucifer one shots).

Also, sorry that this took so long to do, sorry its short and sorry I haven’t posted in ages

You sat down at the bar sighing, Castiel took a seat next to yours.

“If you don’t want to be here, we can go back to the bunker, I’m sure Sam and Dean will understand,” Castiel spoke causing you to look up into his concerned eyes.

“Nah, they really wanted us to come, the least I can do is stick around for a hour or so,” you replied before signalling for the bartenders attention to order a well needed drink.

All you really wanted to do right now was go home and sleep yet Sam and Dean insisted that you and Cas would come with them to the bar to celebrate the big hunt that you had all just finished.

“What can I get you?” the bartender asked you, her face was caked in makeup and her shirt buttons were slightly open as she desperately tried (and failed) to grab the attention of the men in the room.

“Whiskey, neat please,” you replied causing her to simply nod her head and shrug you off before turning to your boyfriend, Cas.

“And what can I get for you cutie?” She asked Cas even though you were sat directly next to him.

Shock laced your face as she clearly flirted with him, her fingers twirling her hair and hand placed gently on top of his.

“I’ll get whatever Y/N is having,” Castiel spoke whilst pointing in my direction. Even though you knew that he was completely oblivious to the flirting taking place, it angered you so much to know that it was even happening.

“Sure thing hottie,” She winked again before leaving to go pour the drinks, a frown was placed firmly on your face.

Castiel turned to you, confusion and worry lacing his soft facial features.

“Y/N? Are you okay? What’s wrong?” He asked looking deeply into your eyes as his arm snaked its way around your waist.

“Screw this,” you murmured quietly to yourself before standing up off of the bar stool, “I want to go home,” you announced.

Not a second later you felt wind rush around you as Cas instantly flew you back to the bunker not caring if anyone saw the two of you leave and only fixating about the sadness which laced your voice.

“Y/N, please, what’s wrong?” Castiel asked again.

“It doesn’t even matter anymore, I’m off to bed,” You replied turning around, you knew that your jealousy was stupid but for some reason it angered you.

“You’re angry at me and the bartender,” Cas spoke causing you to spin around and face him again.

“I thought we agreed on you not using your angel mojo to poke around my head,” you sighed.

“I’m sorry, but when something wrong with my beautiful girlfriend, I want to know,” he spoke as he began to walk over to you, “I can assure you I did not know that she was flirting with me because the only person I care about is you Y/N.” His arms were know placed on your waist and his face was hovering close to your neck, you could feel his hot breath causing you to shiver.

“I love you Y/N, only you.” Castiel whispered into your ear before placing kisses down your neck.

“I love you too Cas.”

After seeing your presentation on james madison I wanted to ask: what was the relatonship between him and dolly like?

All sources come from James Madison by Richard Brookhiser and James Madison by Ralph Ketcham:

Dolley Madison was more than a hostess or James Madison’s wife; she was a his political wife.

In May 1794, age age forty-three, James Madison met and fell in love with Dolley Payne Todd, a recent widow and mother of a son named John Payne Todd. They were formally introduced to one another by Aaron Burr Jr., who had been handling her legal affairs and to whom Madison requested a formal meeting with Dolley. On their first formal meeting, Dolley is said to of worn a mulberry-colored satin dress, a silk handkerchief around her neck and a tiny cap.

“The Great little Madison”, Dolley wrote to one of her friends. George and Martha Washington encouraged the courtship. Around August, James proposed and she accepted. It is highly possible that Dolley and James met before 1794; in 1789, since she was visiting her uncle, a congressman, in Philadelphia, which Madison was a member of. On September 15th, the two were married at a small stone plantation house, belonging to one of Washington’s nephews.

James added a wing to Montpelier (his plantation home) for himself and his new family–Dolley, her son, and her younger sister, Anna–with a separate door and separate kitchen. Madison valued his new status as head of the household. Becoming Mrs. Madison severed Dolley’s connections with her Quaker heritage, who in December of 1794 disowned her for marrying outside of the faith. Madison gained from his marriage an expansion of his personality. He stayed the same but Dolley completed him as a public figure. She knew all of her husband’s enemies were and kept a running tally of their disasters and defeats.

When Dolley got a tumor in her thigh and agreed to see a physician, her husband pulled off from his work so that he could join her at the physician. “Dread of separation”. Dolley to James: “getting well as fast as I can, for I have the reward in view of then seeing my beloved.” When in illness, they would spend day and night by one another’s side, tending to each other. Mr. Madison treated her son, John Payne very well–never striking him and afraid to instill punishment on him. Dolley and James Madison never had children together but Madison covered all of John Payne’s debts and prison release costs.

His strengths were his wife. Since Thomas Jefferson was a widower at the time of his presidency, Dolley became Jefferson’s hostess. Jefferson regularly would take Dolley to dinner (even angering one of the husband because Jefferson did not take the guests wife to the table and instead took Madison).

While President of the United States, Dolley took complete control of all social events at the white house, everyone flocking to meet her and they referred to her husband as “a shriveled little John apple”. When James Madison was forced to evacuate Washington D.C. and he sent a slave back to D.C. to tell Dolley to, “clear out!” of the white house. She and a few slaves packed up some valuables and got out right as the British were down the street. Each Madison spent that night of the evacuation at a plantation on different Virginian side, neither knowing where the other was. Later, they reunited at a tavern overlooking the stream.

In their retirement, Dolley ran the show at Montpelier. On rainy days, James walked back and forth on the porch for his exercise, sometimes even racing Dolley, who, one guest reported could run very well for her age. Because his fingers were swollen, she used to lend hers and played her music box for him as they sat by the fire. Dolley Madison survived her husband by thirteen years and inherited Montpelier. She sold a few of his slaves to neighbors and relatives; in 1844, she finally sold the remainder of the estate.

Dolley Madison became somewhat of a monument. She attended the laying of the cornerstone  of the Washington monument, alone with Elizabeth Hamilton. The presence of the two old ladies on the reviewing stand represented a posthumous fusion, in honor and forgetfulness, of their husbands, friends, then enemies and of the man they both served.

I think what really bothers me about all of the talk about millennials being so entitled, so shallow, the “trophy for breathing” generation, is that for a good chunk of us that’s bullshit.
My parents were abusive, alcoholic religious fanatics who taught me that I was stupid, ugly and worthless.
It took me years to learn that that wasn’t true. That’s shit I struggle with every day and I probably will for the rest of my life.
And these fucking middle-aged shits want to talk about how terrible my generation is right to my face, like theirs didn’t fuck me up.

Elizabeth Schuyler Hamilton

A biographical sketch by Georgina Schuyler, written to her niece, Elizabeth Schuyler Hamilton.

(Letter accompanying photography of a portrait of her namesake, Mrs. Alexander Hamilton)

37 Madison Ave

New York

June 21st 1908

My Dear Elizabeth

This is the day of your ___ and this letter is written to you—to give given to you when you are older, with the portrait of the lady for whence you are named, Elizabeth Schuyler, afterwards Mrs. Alexander Hamilton.  She was your father’s great-grandmother, and my great grandmother.  But though she lived so long ago, some of us still remember her, and all of us love her because she was so lovely, good and king; and we hope you too will love and be like her.

She was born on the 9th of August, 1757, and was the daughter of General Philip Schuyler, of Albany, and she, and her father, and mother, and brothers and sisters lived in a large house just outside the City of Albany, overlooking the Hudson River. It was called “the Pastures,” and is still standing, though the city streets are all about it now.

When this portrait was painted, in 1787, Mrs. Hamilton had been married eight years, and had three little children.  Two years later, in 1789, her husband was appointed by Washington Secretary of the Treasury.  The President and Cabinet then lived in New York City and at the Hamilton house there were dances and parties and many people coming and going—Wednesday evening was their reception evening.  Marie Antoinette, was then the Queen of France.  She wore the same kind of high head dress you see in the portrait—it was the Fashion of the day.  Mrs. Hamilton’s  older sister Angelica, Mrs. Church, had married an Englishman and lived in Paris and in London for many years.  Mr. & Mrs. Church knew many French people noblemen and ___.  Most sought refuge in England during the French Revolution; and a number of the gentlemen came to America introduced by Mrs. Church to her sister and brother-in-law.  Mrs. Hamilton was kind and hospitable to them and they needed kindness in exile from their country, sad and lonely, separated from their family.

For it was Mrs. Hamilton’s kindness and the nature of her disposition that attracted people.  She was not so very pretty—not as pretty as her older sister—but she was good tempered, and everyone liked her.  There was a young gentleman from Maryland, Mr. Tilghman, an aid de camp of General Washington, who stayed at her father’s house when she was a girl.  He writes that she had “the most good natured, dark, lovely eyes I ever saw,” and everyone one told him how sweet tempered she was.  She was also active and fearless.  They all went on a picnic near Albany; and he describes how Miss Betsey Schuyler climbed up the banks of the waterfall, and jumped from rock to rock, declining all assistance, and making merry at the fears of the other girls.

Mr. Carroll of Maryland was detained at the country place of her father, General Schuyler, at Saratoga, for a week, owing to the illness of old Mr. Benjamin Franklin. [He] writes what a pleasant week he had passed.  He was very much older than Miss Betsey, but he found her and her sister very good company, so bright and cheerful, and ready and glad to take not of older people. Miss Betsey was straight forward and simple in her manner.  One of the French gentleman speaks of her in later years—of her simplicity and adds that “she is a charming woman.”

So, when this portrait was painted, she had passed through a happy girlhood, and was most happily married. She was a devoted wife.  She appreciated her husband’s genius and she did all she possibly could to help him.  He had to work very hard to support his family (he was a lawyer by profession) and whenever possible, he was pre-occupied with public affairs.  But he, too, was kind and wished to help people when they were in trouble and so this is the story of the portrait:

The artist, Mr. Earle, had made debts he could not pay, and was put in the New York City Debtor Prison (such was the law of those days).  Mr. Hamilton was sorry for him and worked to get [him] out, and consulted his wife as to the best way of doing so.  She decided that she would dress and visit the Debtors Prison and ask for her portrait there, in a room that was set apart for Mr. Earle to paint her in.  She persuaded the ladies to do the same thing.  They also came to the prison and sat for their portraits; and son Mr. Earle had made enough money to pay his debts, get out of prison, and be a free man once more: Thanks to her we have the portrait, and the memory of her kind heart. This story was told to me by her son James, my Grandfather Hamilton, who loved to tell it of his mother.

In her later life she had great sorrows, and showed much strength of character.  Her husband’s death left her with many children to support and educate, and but little fortune with which to do so.  However, they all grew up and made their way, and then she thought of other children, poor children left without money or father to care for them, and she helped to found the first orphan asylum in New York City. She also took into her home a little orphan girl and brought her up and started her in life.  She lived to a great age.  I remember perfectly her sweet old face and her white hair under her cap as she used to sit in the ball at Nevis where now this very portrait hangs.

I am my dear little Elizabeth

Your affectionate

Georgina Schuyler

On Lorde, Green Light and how I refound my love for pop music

I’m in love with Lorde’s new single. I’m in love with Lorde herself, really. To me, she’s an immensely strong wave of fresh air bursting through the pop genre. A genre that, if we’re honest, we all adore, but are too afraid to admit. We call Britney’s Toxic a guilty pleasure, but really, do we actually feel guilty? No. We know it’s an anthem, it’s a legendary song and we all love it and we all know it.

But somewhere around age 13, when the hormones started kicking in and we wanted to impress the boys in 9th grade, we felt the pressure to be different. Different from other girls, because girls are superficial creatures obsessed with fake things like makeup and Lady GaGa. We weren’t allowed to like pop music, because it wasn’t real music. And so we all went through a post-punk or emo or grunge phase, because those bands had men in them, and men made real music about deep stuff - not to discredit that phase, the bands I listened to around age 14 shaped me in ways I will never forget.

And then we were shamed for that too - because we didn’t like that music for the music, we were just in love with the singer with the incredibly sharp jawline or the bassist with the huge arms. Personally, I felt like I wasn’t allowed to just be passionate about music, because my passion would never seem real to the scrawny, penis-bearing, acne-struck creatures that were always a little too loud in class.

Then I heard a song on the radio. It was definitely pop music, but it was different, the kind of different I’d been looking for since I found out my taste in things wasn’t good enough. Through Royals, I found out that pop music wasn’t a defined genre, it didn’t have to be “fake” or “superficial”, it was something able to engage with other genres and create something new. And it could be about real things - it didn’t have to be about trashing hotelrooms, diamond watches and jet planes. Rowan Blanchard put it into words perfectly last week: it was when I realized pop music could be poetry too. There’s always the Art Bros telling girls that pop music isn’t real, but Lorde’s music made us feel like this was for us. It was made for us to enjoy and not be shamed for.

Escape From History (2017)

I came across old pictures I took ages ago. I believe I have posted this one before, but I am just so happy that the little spider was sitting still on my book and letting itself be photographed by me before I could bring it outside, that I wanted to share it with you again.

anonymous asked:

I loved your post-game tarot card for Isii, and I wanted to ask: what do you think all of the companion tarot cards are? Some are obvious (Dorian's default= The Magician) but plenty of them I can't figure out. What's your take?

Hope you were looking for a detailed examination of each of the companion and adviser cards and their meanings, cause that’s what you’re gonna get. :P

First, I’m so glad you like Isii’s post-game tarot card. I’ve been meaning to finish her starting card for quite some time now. As for the companion cards, I think some of them are stronger than others in terms of how well the card’s meaning matches the character it’s tied to. Images were sourced from this post where you can see scans of the entire DAI Tarot set.

One last thing: Tarot cards are highly interpretational based on context. That’s why you can shape a cohesive “narrative” from what is otherwise an arguably random assortment of cards. While the Major Arcana tend to have fairly well-defined qualities, the Minor Arcana does not possess the same consistency. (If you don’t believe me, go do some digging on tarot card meanings from different books and websites. You are likely to find completely different and sometimes contradictory meanings for certain cards, depending on the author.) Quotes used are sourced from ata-tarot

Beginning Card: The Hermit

The Hermit is a figure that has risen above emotion and disconnected from his desires - they are distractions that stand in the way of his journey. The Hermit strives for wisdom and seeks answers from within rather than the outside world. He can only depend on himself. He alone is immutable and he knows that any person who lends him aid cannot help him forever. Such alliances are temporary. “For true wisdom to emerge, there can be no distractions. Any preoccupations of the world, no matter how small or inconsequential they may seem, will be heard as shouts that drown out the still voice within.” The Hermit is alone, not only by choice but by necessity and is comfortable traveling through darkness if it means he will emerge in the light at the end. The Hermit may try to guide others with the lessons he has learned, but he is not a teacher. He knows he cannot teach what must be learned through experience. The appearance of the Hermit suggests that a mentor may appear in the subject’s life or that they must choose to help guide another into discovering their own truths.

Romanced: The Hierophant

The Hierophant is a holy man, one who holds secret or forbidden knowledge. Most often it is represented as a high-ranking member of the clergy, a symbol of the power of spirituality to shape the world according to one’s beliefs. Unlike the Hermit who moves alone, the Hierophant is a leader who others follow not because they have been coerced or deceived but because their faith drives them. The Hierophant is not an individualistic card - all is done for the betterment of the whole. The needs of the many outweigh his own desires. The Hierophant is tasked with the preservation or return to tradition and a rejection of its opposition. While this can sometimes be harmful (like the historical treatment of those who oppose Church teachings), it is usually beneficial. The Hierophant is a far cry from rebellion - his is a card of order and uniformity. If the Hierophant appears, it may foretell the appearance of a mentor; someone who will teach you his beliefs in the hopes that you will join him. The subject should be open to receiving these lessons. Something is coming and the subject lacks the experience to face it alone. Only he can provide that.

Ending Card (unromanced): The Tower

The Tower is a destructive force, though it should not be taken as something malicious. The crumbling structure needs to fall in order to be rebuilt. When wisdom and enlightenment are resisted, sometimes their influence must be forced. Old attitudes and beliefs have to be abandoned, whether you like it or not.  “You do not want to give up your ideals, and you cling to them like a child to his precious security blanket. This attempt at security ensures nothing, really, except a disastrous change that will painfully rip away that which you did not discard of your own volition.” The Tower is not a gentle card, but often necessary. It usually represents tearing away lies the subject has been telling themselves, facing harsh truths in favor of comfortable deception. The crumbling tower’s fall is inevitable due to its faulty foundation. Rather than waiting for it to collapse, The Tower gives it a sharp shove and lets gravity do the rest. Rather than focusing on the rubble, The Tower should be seen as a card of opportunity; it is like a phoenix, burning away the old and sickly so that something can be reborn in its place. When The Tower appears, the subject should prepare themselves for change and be ready to let go of what makes them feel comfortable and secure, otherwise the transition will be a painful one. If the subject ignores the warning and clings to the status quo, the are in for a rude awakening. Change will happen because it is needed and nothing they can do will stop it.

howtophotograph: @daltonrapattoni is a friend of mine, known him since he was in a band at the age of 13. When he finished @americanidol ’s final season we wanted to capture who Dalton really was, not what the network pushed for ratings. Because of that I took him to a hilltop in East LA (away from the typical LA spots) and we shot. We didn’t make rules up, didn’t plan ahead, didn’t invite a stylist of any kind and let this be 100% Dalton by Dalton for Dalton fans. He wore one of his favorite shirts, grabbed his jacket and we photographed until the sunset and into the night. For this particular shot… I grabbed a @paulcbuffinc #alienbees head, put a grid (20 degrees) on it and used one of their battery packs. I used the lowest setting, because we didn’t want to overpower the setting sun. The 🌞illuminated the dry weeds, and the strobe made sure his face wasn’t a silhouette. Simple set ups are the best… Because I’ve known him for many years, I am familiar with his angles and when he tunes out on me. That’s a plus and a minus! For this particular image I remember telling him that I was still “adjusting my settings”. That allowed Dalton to relax and have a moment where he looked off to the side, pondering (probably thinking of where we should eat after the shoot). That’s my favorite way to capture a known personality - to show a side of them never before seen, when they’re not ON for the camera. That’s the Dalton I know! He’s the guy who watches one YouTube video after another, on all subjects pertaining to the world, music, politics, life, etc…he thinks and thinks, always wondering. That’s the story behind this image. My message: get to know your subjects. You’ll get so much more that way. 📸 @walid.azami

Itachi Reacting to His S/O Crying:

- Itachi is quite perceptive, so he definitely would’ve picked up something from his s/o prior to this, - if he had been around to notice-.

- He’s also quite selfless, kind and would want the best for those that he cares about, - particularly his significant other-.

- If his s/o had any troubles, he would happily listen to them.

- He’d make this more about his s/o, which means: He’d do anything to make them feel better, whether that consists of: giving them their space, listening to them discuss their troubles, holding them, making them some comfort food, treating them to something, whatever it is.

- He would definitely refrain from worsening their condition.

- He may not inquire what’s wrong, firstly, but his presence and him sitting beside you, - maybe if it’s so bad, putting his arm around his s/o-, would be enough to rouse his s/o to say something… anything.

- His initial thought process is to get down to the bottom of what’s upset his s/o, to find a solution for them or develop one for them, because he doesn’t feel pleased whilst watching his s/o crying.

- I believe that if himself and his s/o were very serious, he’d wipe their tears away and hold them tightly to him; it’d be one of those hugs where he wraps his arms around you and rests his chin on the crown of your head.

- He’d also wait for you to be more calmed down, simply because he would be able to comprehend what you’re talking about and you’d be able to describe what happened or how you feel without any interruptions.

- His silent persona would be oddly comforting, because his deep onyx eyes and his body language would communicate with you that you’re safe, well and alright.

- He’d melt away any insecurities and be able to find reasons and rationalities for why his s/o is upset, if they’re feeling up for talking about it.

- He’s not one to force his s/o to say something: He’s more of the type to let them come to him. He’s not bothered by silence; plus, he’d most likely be able to guess correctly what’s bothering his s/o.

- If his s/o and him are very serious, he would murmur very soft sweet nothing’s into their ear, cooling them down and helping them come back to where they really are.

- He’d be a big support and wish to discuss things with them. He’d be mature and wouldn’t interrupt.

- Perhaps he’d even take you for a walk, as nature has wonders of helping you release things that no longer serves you.

Haku Reacting to His S/O Crying:

- This cute friendly creature will honestly be so alarmed that he’d get a heart attack! Poor bb!

- He’d cradle his s/o in his arms, murmuring sweet nothing’s to them, vowing to protect them.

- He’d totally devote himself to bringing his s/o’s moral and spirits rocketing into the skies.

- Haku would run his fingers through his lovers hair, stroking their back and pressing sweet affectionate kisses to their neck, shoulders, collar bones, cheeks, lips, nose, forehead, head, he’d kiss those tears away.

- He’s so precious, okay? He’d feel like he’d failed himself if he couldn’t get you smiling again!

- Haku would cook his lovers favorite foods, give them a massage or read to them, run them a bath, anything that will soothe them.

- Haku would encourage his s/o to speak about their feelings, because, their feeling’s count and he wants to know if anything’s hurting or disrupting his s/o’s well being.

- Though he’d encourage his s/o talking about their feelings, he’s not one to force things: If you need space, then you need space.

- He’s very kind and self-sacrificing, so he would take as much time in guiding you to be happy.

- Haku will be whatever you need him to be, whether that consists of a lover, a friend to listen to in the moment, an wise advice provider, a nurturer, etc. He’ll be anything for you.

- Watching his s/o cry pretty much breaks his freaking heart, okay? It’s definitely not something that he’d enjoy, and he’d work diligently to make them joyous again.

- He’d be the one to remind his s/o that it’s okay to have feeling’s and they’re not wrong for feeling the way that they do or being who they are: He loves them regardless, no matter what they’ve done.

- He’d take his s/o’s hands and kiss them, taking time to kiss each knuckle and whisper how much he loves and appreciates them.

- He’d be encouraging, offering his wise guidance and advice, and supporting his s/o in anyway that they need.

- He’s a pleasant person to be around, so it wouldn’t take long for him to get his s/o calmed down and sleepy: Meaning, he’d be a total cuddle monster.

Sasuke Reacting to His S/O Crying:

- Well, Sasuke would firstly react indifferently, but grow tenser and uncomfortable by the moment, considering that he wouldn’t know how to handle this situation.

- He may even grow annoyed at first, give his s/o some space, and if that didn’t work, he’d be expecting answers.

- Sasuke would first ask “What now?” or “Who do I have to kill now?”.

- He’d be pretty protective, and if his s/o and him were very serious, - and alone-, he would wrap an arm around them.

- He won’t push for an answer, he knows what it’s like to be badgered with unnecessary questions, when all you want is to be left alone or you just don’t know how to talk about it or don’t want to talk about it.

- He’d definitely listen, but if something irked him, like his s/o being spineless and bending for other’s or someone hurting them, he’d say something about it, and he may not be the kindest, but know that he’s trying his best and he means well.

- He’d grow fiercely protective of his partner, nobody upsets them. He doesn’t like it when people mess with his s/o; because even though Sasuke acts like he doesn’t care, he really does care.

- He’d try to give them some sort of advice to go off of, but again, it may come out coldly and not much help, but Sasuke only means the best.

- He’d be the type to sit there silently with a gritted jaw, because he feels to tenseness.

- If his s/o kept crying, he’d pull them close and mutter “Come here, you loser…

- If Sasuke’s s/o kept crying without saying anything, he’d grow impatient and push them to talk about it, because he wants to know what’s up, he hates being left in the dark when it comes to them, but it’s only if they’re persistent in crying and moping about.

- He wouldn’t ever admit it, but he cares so fiercely about his s/o that it actually pains him to watch them cry. It’s haunting.

- He’d be totally tongue tied, looking away, but still remaining physically close to his s/o: He just doesn’t have the right words to utter, he doesn’t want to sound like a total ass.

- He’d try to cheer you up a way that was ’out of the norm’ for Sasuke (not totally, but just a little bit) and it’d make you raise your brows or ask questions, to which he’d reply with: “Do you want the damn food or not?” or “I don’t know what you’re talking about.” or “Stop giving me that stupid look, loser: This doesn’t change anything, so don’t expect me to do stuff like this all of the time.” But let’s face it, he’d do it for you again if you got upset.

- He’d even reluctantly cuddle with you, but he’d make sure you never breathed a word of it to anyone.
