Today in “Jay’s life is absolutely fucking ridiculous” I got a phonecall from Idris Elba today saying he was sorry but I wouldn’t quite work in his new documentary/show thing on BBC 3 that he was considering having me feature in (we’d emailed and I’d spoken to a producer working for his company months ago) but that he wanted to let me know personally because he loves my work and will keep me in mind for other stuff. Mental mate. Mental. Like, the producer called and was like, lemme hand you over to Idris and I was like WHA?! but in my head, obviously, externally I was all chill and professional. Inside I was screaming.
Michael promoting AC in China and here’s the part about Fassavoy
Reporter: Will you become a producer in the future? Will you invite James McAvoy to your film if you become a producer in the future?
Michael：Will James be in one of that films? Is that the question?
Host：Yeah because you are a couple according to Chinese (Fans)
Michael：Absolutely. We like to work as long as we can. But you know, we like to keep the professional separate to the personal…He’s at home, actually, cooking for me right now. I’ll bring him those soup for…delights.
Em, no, James and I are great friends. We met for the first time on first class. Actually that’s a lie. We met the first time, filming Band of Brothers together, the TV show. And…yeah, I’ve been an admirer of his work. So I consider…we are very good friends.
I just watched this live interview and I just asdfghjkl OMGGGGG
I believe tomorrow there will be more links to the video!
It was an internal matter, I think it was wrong to comment his relations with the coach. It sells, generates expectations, but all the coaches have to make a decision of the starting XI and I think in Real Madrid is not easy. James has to continue work, he must fight and show his talent. For him sitting on the bench is not easy, because he is very competitive and always wants to play. But this is more personal frustration than against the coach. He is very focused on the work and sure of what he has. Certainly in Colombia looks at this situation differently, but playing in Real Madrid with these stars is a dream for player. He thinks about the work, being better and presenting good form.
Reporter: You have worked with James McAvoy in X-Men and in China, people on the Internet are joking at you are a couple. What do you think of it and will you invite him to your film if you become a producer in the future?
Michael：Will I film James in one of that films? Is that the question?
Host：Yeah that’s the question since you are a “couple”.
Michael：Absolutely. We like to work as often as we can. But you know, we like to keep the professional separate to the personal…He’s at home, actually, cooking for me right now. He’ll be having interests of that soup…
Em, no, you know, James and I are great friends. We met for the first time on First Class. And…actually that’s a lie. We met the first time, filming Band of Brothers together, the TV show. And…you know, I’ve been an admirer of his work. So…I consider, we are very good friend, yep.
Can we please be clear that Louis Tomlinson, the person, LOVES “Just Hold On” and has been working very hard going from radio to morning TV to late night TV and back to radio promoting his song?
It’s his social media and his named management team that are not promoting the song and that’s what people are confused and pissy about.
I’m getting very irritable at people saying that LOUIS isn’t promoting the song, because HE ABSOLUTELY IS!
Clearly there’s a reason for his social media channels to be so quiet and indirect about it, we just don’t know what that is.
And apparently there’s a reason his team isn’t doing it either, but since we don’t see them physically out there busting ass in places other than social media, it’s hard to give them the benefit of the doubt.
So again, to be clear, LOUIS IS WORKING HIS ASS OFF GETTING THIS SONG OUT, it’s his team that isn’t.
Ok, Yuri on Ice Pokemon AU I’ve been thinking about since episode 3, where everyone gets at least one ice type in their teams because ice skaters, and the action is more focused on Pokemon Contests than battles.
His family raises Swinubs because of their ability of occasionally finding hot springs while rooting for food
Yuuri’s family believes that the reason their hot springs still prospers while all the others in the region closed is due to Yuuri’s Snorunt
Yuuri rarely catches Pokemon in the traditional way, most of his team are Pokemon he befriended that decided willingly to go inside the Pokeball. He is a very caring trainer and a natural at dealing with Pokemon, but he is still very insecure in his own abilities
He is not the biggest fan of battling because he doesn’t want his Pokemon getting hurt, but he still engages in it because some of his Pokemon like it and he wants them to be happy. It’s his biggest shortcoming when it comes to Contests
Yuuri was inspired to become a pro Coordinator by watching Victor’s performances when he was young. He also took a liking to Furfrous and started raising and training one of his own (Vicchan) to be his main contester
He did terribly at his Grand Festival run because, shortly before it happened, Vicchan passed away due to illness
A legendary Top Coordinator who started very young and won the Grand Festival in multiple regions. He also remains the undefeated Pokemon League Champion for five years and counting
Has a competition-retired Furfrou (Makkachin) that he now keeps as a pet
He mostly keeps League battles and Contests separate but some of his Pokemon double for both (like his Ninetales)
As a coordinator, Victor likes to surprise the audiences by using his Pokemon in unexpected ways instead of going for the obvious
Has grown dispassionate with both battles and Contests and starts considering dropping out of the circuit all-together and go traveling with his Pokemon
He watches a video of Yuuri and his Pokemon doing one of Victor’s routines with his Ninetales and decides to retire from competing in Contests to coach Yuuri instead and make him and his Pokemon win the next Grand Festival
Victor gifts Yuuri with a Dawn Stone to evolve his Snorunt into a Froslass, which would become one of Yuuri’s main Pokemon in the upcoming competition
His entire team consists of cat Pokemon
Yurio enjoys battling more than Contests but he has a natural talent as a Coordinator. He was scouted by Yakov when he was young and has been training as a Coordinator under him, but he often skips on training to go challenge random people to battle
He met Victor through Yakov and quickly decided he would be his rival. Victor calls Yurio “little Litten”, much to Yurio’s annoyance
Victor is his goal, both as a Coordinator and a Trainer. He wishes to end his reign as the Pokemon Champion and is actively collecting Gym Badges during Contest off-season so he’ll be able to challenge him
During Contests, Yurio tends to focus on showing off his Pokemon’s strength and power and his routines tend to be very showy but also sometimes reckless
When Yurio was young he made Victor promise to choreograph a routine for one of his Pokemon for Yurio’s debut at the Grand Festival. When he finds out Victor decided to mentor Yuuri instead he challenges Yuuri
After being defeated by Yuuri, he decides to take Contests more seriously and makes it his goal to beat Yuuri at the Grand Festival
Girls in the first few years of elementary school are less likely than boys to say that their own gender is “really, really smart,” and less likely to opt into a game described as being for super-smart kids, research finds.
The study, which appears Thursday in Science, comes amid a push to figure out why women are underrepresented in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, or STEM, fields. One line of research involves stereotypes, and how they might influence academic and career choices.
Andrei Cimpian, a professor of psychology at New York University and an author of the study, says his lab’s previous work showed that women were particularly underrepresented in both STEM and humanities fields whose members thought you needed to be brilliant — that is, to have innate talent — to succeed.
“You might think these stereotypes start in college, but we know from a lot of developmental work that children are incredibly attuned to social signals,” Cimpian says. So they decided to look at kids from ages 5 to 7, the period during which stereotypes seem to start to take hold.
I’m still laughing about Louis never posting the dog until the stunt ended. He had that little puppy for 10 months and we got nothing from him, no pic, no tweet, not a single thing. And suddenly D*uis is over and he’s like ‘HEY look at my dog!!’ and Clifford gets papped at his house and he talks about him in interviews lol
I just found out Scare Pewdiepie season 2 was cancelled because Felix is apparently anti-semetic. Now, here is why this whole thing, including Felix being dropped by Maker, is complete bullshit.
Let me start with saying I myself am Jewish, and have been face to face with real anti-semitism. Real anti-semites are cruel, rude, forceful, ignorant, etc. What Felix did is known as this thing called a joke. Yes, it was a joke in poor taste, but Felix is a good guy and apologised, so there is no place for punishment here. Maker and Yotube are being too strict in dropping him and cancelling his show.
Now, let’s focus on the show. Youtube cancelling his show is shooing away all of the hard work and passion Felix put into this show like he does for everything. Scare Pewdiepie is something really important to Felix, and now all of his (and the crew’s, and Séan’s) tireless work and hours are being treated like it doesn’t matter. I’ve been having some issues with Youtube and this whole Youtube Red thing, so this is the icing on the cake.
Overall, I fail to see completely cruel intention in Felix’s actions, and really appreciate how big he is for apologising. What has this world come to where everything is treated as a worldwide attack?
Tldr; Felix does not deserve to have his hard work crushed because of a JOKE!
