it made the movie

IM SO FUCKIGN EMBARASSED I WAS TRYING TO HELP A GUY OUT ON FACEBOOK AND I MEANT TO PASTE A LINK TO HIM BUT THE CTRL KEY IS RIGHT NEXT TO MY HOTKEY THAT HAS THE BEE MOVIE SCRIPT SAVED TO IT AND MY FINGER SLIPPED AND I PRESSED THAT BUTTON AND IT JUST MADE LIKE 5000 REPLIES FROM EACH LINE OF THE BEE MOVIE AND I FUCKED UP SO BAD I DONT EVEN KNO THIS GUY

As much as I dislike   some popular books (TFIOS,Divergent, etc.) I think they’re  also really great because they get teenagers who wouldn’t normally  read to read, which is the greatest thing on earth. I don’t care if they’re reading it just because   of the hype or because of the movie coming  out, because   they’re reading and enjoying it, which is amazing? Seeing non readers read is literally the best.

Also I  totally approve of  book to movie adaptations  being made because that means more books are being introduced to non-readers

Um hi, what is this Loki in a fur scene? >.<

Hi! It’s literally just a second of fabulousness from one of tdw tv spots (x) that never made it to the movie and forever remains a mystery of WHY IS HE IN THE DUNGEONS IN A FUR COAT LOOKING SO HAPPY WITH HIS HAIR FRESHLY WASHED AND BLOW DRIED LIKE HOW DID THAT EVEN FIT INTO THE MOVIE AT ALL I NEED TO KNOW

And it’s so ironic that he’s saying “give the people what they want” and Marvel are in fact NOT GIVING US WHAT WE WANT

all the bratz, barbie, myscene, winx club, etc. type shows had the cutest songs

Syfy has greenlit a sequel to its latest campy creature feature, Lavalantula. Brilliantly titled 2 Lava 2 Lantula, the sequel is due out next summer (presumably around the same time Sharknado 4 will debut).

Lavalantula premiered this past Saturday to strong ratings and lots of social media buzz. The intention is to bring back star Steve Guttenberg (Police Academy), along with other cast members, for the sequel.

Hopefully director Mike Mendez (Big Ass Spider) also returns, as he was a huge part of what made the movie so fun. This seems likely, given that the network has hired Anthony C. Ferrante to helm all three Sharknado movies so far.

Lavalantula looks to join Sharknado, Mega Shark and Sharktopus as unlikely TV movie franchises.

What’s up with Hollywood and it’s constant need to make a generic movie about the divorced or single white middle age man (maybe with kids) who has to save the world. With their none white sidekick who’s obviously a better character than the MC. The funny Latino friend. The hot white woman who is possibly his ex gf or wife.
Why can’t we have movies with POC and diversity.
Yes there are POC in this action packed movies but to be honest most of them are played in the background. No matter what race you are I think we all deserve representation in the media. And just now we are hitting the iceberg with shows like Steven Universe for example
That shows diversity in the cast. Ethnically speaking.
Where are my Main Female leads that are not sexualize or used as a romantic plot??????? I’ve seen it so little in many forms of media. That I wonder if we as people will move forward one day. Hopefully we will

Thanks to you Fellow Strangers!

I know Roland…I know…Its sad Strange Magic will never see a sequel.  Its poor advertisement and lack of hype made it so hardly anyone even knew about it. It made no money. Even my friends who are animated movie nuts didn’t know about it, until they heard about it from me. But they do now and love it!

Even I dismissed it at first because frankly when I saw the trailer in January, I thought it was just another crappy low budget fairy tale flick that took after Ferngully, Arthur and Epic. But that’s because the trailer told me nothing.  Had I known the actual story, I would have gone to see it like it should be seen, on the big screen! Little did I know renting it out of boredom one day would change my whole opinion. And I, someone who hates musicals fell in love with it after it ended, watched the rental for its full three days, bought the streaming movie on Amazon and now own the DVD and Soundtrack. Oh the soundtrack….

It’s just beautiful. One of my favorite all time stories put to big screen, and I never would have known about it had I not been browsing the new releases for something to do.

When I read its Wiki page, I was sad to see its box office returns and reviews. Such a shame because it has a ton of potential. Far more than some of the other animated movies that seem to be coughing out sequels like pez dispensers because they are cute and guaranteed to make money. I know George Lucas made it for the fun of it, but I tend to think if it made money he might consider a sequel, or if anything a short.

But to be honest, deep down I’m sort of ok with it being a small fandom that is slowly gaining momentum and a following. When a fandom grows because the source marital itself is good it has a lot more meaning to it than being popular because it’s the newest fad. And when a new fan comes along and I read…”Just saw Strange Magic and I love it!”….It makes me feel great!  And it’s not because it’s so hyped and over saturated you see it on every single kid’s lunchbox. It’s because it’s genuinely good and they happened to of watched it one day out of boredom, and they are now a devoted fan.

It’s the lack of hype I feel that inspires people to make such awesome fan art, fanfiction and music. Thinking, if it doesn’t exist then I will make it exist! Not to mention the discussions I’ve seen about its awesome animation, how it makes people feel and how the characters have moved them. I’ve seen other fandoms on Tumblr and this one is by far the most pleasant I’ve been involved in!

So thanks to you, fellow “Strangers”
Thanks to all!

I love this illustration of Scooby and Shaggy along with Crystal and Amber from Scooby-Doo and the Alien Invaders!

Fun fact about myself: I always wanted to see an episode where Shaggy and Scooby are abducted by Crystal and Amber in order to defeat other aliens or something. It wouldn’t be a bad idea and it wouldn’t be the first time movie-exclusive characters made appearances in other parts of the Scooby-Doo franchise (The Hex Girls)

i like cara delevingne and all but tbh im kinda upset that she was cast as margo bc there was a perfect opportunity to cast a chubby girl as a lead in a movie that’s unquestionably gonna be popular and that opportunity was thrown the fuck away
