it looks as if i use a few psd

anonymous asked:

how do you make the sparkles fall behind the image? like only on the background

hey, love! so i’ve been asked this a lot, and i finally have a day off so below is how i end up with something like this:

(the psd used in this example can be found here)(i save my sparkle gif from here) (this is more to show how to remove the gif from over the model, a tutorial for how to use the gif in the first place can be found here)

this might get a bit wordy since i can never manage to keep things short, and since this is a little bit more complicated than the usual ‘sparkle’ effect, i’ve added a few pictures along the way to help but please feel free to ask any questions!

Gif Coloring Tutorial

So, I got asked by a few people how to color our gifs, and specially hard scenes, such as yellow scenes from Suicide Squad, they can be a pain to color, so here I’m gonna show how to do this kind of coloring:

Basically you’ll need

  • Knowledge on how to make gifs
  • Any version of Photoshop (mine is cs5)

Please note that this a very detailed tutorial so that everyone can do it, including screenshots, so everything is under the cut.

So, i was requested to post my favorite gif psds that leave the gif with little or no noise at all. But remember, it is not only psd that helps, but also a good action and a video in good quality (720p/1080p). If you are looking for good actions, here i recommended a few. If was useful, like or reblog this post. More resources on l-agallerrie.

Below the cut, there are  o n e  h u n d r e d  a n d  s e v e n t y  gifs of Katherine Grace McNamara from Arden Cho’s YouTube vlog’s of their adventures at Coachella. These gifs were made ALL by me, Samantha. Don’t put these into other gif hunts! Please like or reblog if you find this helpful and don’t claim as your own! ( I have the gifs separated by each day they were at Coachella! A few of the gifs at the beginning of day three may look a little off because I lost the PSD I was previously using, so please don’t mind them!) TW;  flashing lights

*Expressions are only available in busts for the time being. Original is $20, each additional expression is $4! If you’ve already ordered this from me and would like more, it’ll be $3 for extra expressions! A set of five is $30 with your fifth expression free! Without giving any specific emotions, a standard expression package would include: happy, sad, angry/annoyed, surprised, and an emotion of your choice.

NEW COMMISSION ADDITION: *~*Blinking animated RP sets!*~* Base price of a set of five with the standard emotion package (only blinking) is $55 and each additional expression is $6. You will get the PSD so you can animate them on your own! Isn’t that just grand?

ANOTHER NEW COMMISSION TYPE: SKETCHES! Sketches are just that, sketchy lines and concept though I do clean it enough to look nice! For these, I can do pairings and stuff. Another character is $10 though if the design is complex i may add a few more dollars to that. These are quickly done too and you can pick the color I use!

❥ I reserve the right to refuse a commission if I feel I would not be able to successfully complete it.
❥ Payment is accepted upfront & only through PayPal.
❥ I will not do anthro or porn.
❥ You can send an order to my email ( floralpowder @ ) with COMMISSION as the subject.
❥ Please be descriptive as you can! Picture references are prefered but if you can write it out, i will do my best to be as accurate as possible!
❥ Anything that needs extreme details may be charged extra.
❥ If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me! I am open to communication! You are also welcome to ask for PSD files!

hi, ummmm, i'm sorry but would it be ok to ask how you colored your new free gifs? it's so so so so so so pretty and i can't stop looking at it!

aww thank you so much! i’m not in expert in making pastel colourings so i’m afraid i can’t make a tutorial about that but i can totally give you my psd. for that free gifset i used the same psd as this gifset but with a few changes to it. i’m afraid the free psd won’t work for most anime so i’m going to give you both psd’s:

v1 - download

v2 - download

Under the cut you’ll find 50 medium, textless, hq gifs of DOMINIC SHERWOOD in TAKE DOWN. All of these gifs were made by me so please like and/or reblog this post if you are using them. As long as you don’t claim them as your own you can use them in any way, but if you add them to a crackship, turn them into gif icons or anything of the sort, please ask for my permission and give me credit.

Hey there! So this is a guide on helpful tips for making manips. I didn’t want to make a “tutorial” since every manip is different, and not every manip needs to have every single one of these tips applied to it, but this can prove to be rather helpful if a manip is giving you trouble! These tricks have definitely helped me.

This tutorial/guide/whatever is divided up into sections, and has images provided in case I’m really bad at explaining. Please like/reblog if you found this useful or want to share!

Note: I use Photoshop CS5 to create all of my manips.

anonymous asked:

what sizes do you make your posts so that tumblr doesn't mess them up when you upload them? thank u so much !!!!

hiii!!! i usually don’t resize my photos at all :/// for the shiro snapchat one the psd i used gave it the ~iphone~ dimensions & just as i was queuing i came across this post and was like *shrug* why not and resized down to 540px. i like how it looks so i’m gonna try out resizing my next few posts and see how it goes!

hi, i've been looking through icon borders and i've noticed that you guys have a few circle and/or other shaped borders available for download, and i've been trying to figure out how to use those on gifs, so if one of you could make a tutorial on that, that'd be great! i know i figured it out a while ago but i tried again and i can't seem to get it, so it's sort of driving me crazy. thanks!

Under the cut is how to make something like this:

For this tutorial, you need to have:

  • Photoshop (I’m using CS5 Extended)
  • The timeline option (but it might work without as well).

PSD is shared at the bottom as per usual.

Vibrant “Natural” Coloring Tutorial

Someone asked if I could make a tutorial on how I color, specifically referring to the last gifset of Luke I posted. I’m going to share a bit of my general coloring technique and a few examples of color correcting. Keep in mind that I take extra time when I make gifsets and, although I color with my same technique every time, I start ALL of my coloring from scratch. There isn’t a PSD I’ve saved. Disclaimer: this is my personal preference for coloring and what I think looks good. You don’t have to agree, of course. Anyways, on to the tutorial:

*This tutorial is for those with a basic knowledge of photoshop/gif making*
**I use Photoshop CS6 and KMPlayer to get my screencaps**

I’ll be showing you how to get from the first gif to the second under the cut:

anonymous asked:

can you do a tutorial on how you do those comic edits where its the comic but with a plain background? how do you do that?

yes i can because i actually love doing tutorials for some reason lmao okay let’s do this

this is going to be slighly long because i’m pretty thorough with tutorials so it might seem complicated but like five edits later you’ll get used to it and do it in five minutes.

i’m going to use this panel from silk #01 in this because it’s cute

A few people before were curious about my brushtrokes/what the strokes look like at 100% and canvas size etc, so I’m sharing some of my linearts!

They’re fullsize so about 3000px wide at 300dpi. You’re free to use them to practice colouring with or have a look at, just don’t sell anything etc!
