How about we see Tom confessing his love to Marco, but in his own language so Marco has no clue what he's saying. Then Marco has a talk with Janna to translate what he said. :D

Here you go! This was fun and cute to write. Disclaimer, what Tom is saying IS gibberish because I don’t know enochian and I couldn’t find a translator. Sorry! I hope you like it anyways!

“Marco?” Tom called. He was standing by the door looking like he was ready to throw up.

“Hey Tom, what’s up?” Marco asked, usually the demon just came in. It was weird seeing him look so nervous, standing there shaking. “Are you alright, dude? You look like you’re going to be sick.” Marco pointed out. Tom opened his mouth to say something, the floor burning up under him.

“Marco I….” Tom groaned. “EVH SHERO MICKERAN NERTODON AZKEVAH POINERTID XIFQUINA QUIFDZINEKRIK AKFBWOC KWLALF ALS CZXJEW AJXKE AKSKCMEO JROWLXN ASLFNEKQHNX.” Tom finished what he was… gargling? And took a deep breath. His face was deep red and he was literally in flames.

“Um…. Tom I’m not to sure what-” Marco cut himself off when Tom vanished. “Okay… bye?”

“Tom stopped by today.” Marco said. Star nodded and continued drawing on the floor with crayons like a child.

“What did he say?”

“No clue.” Marco admitted. “He squawked something weird and ran away. He looked nervous.” Marco explained. Janna looked up from her phone.

“Dude what did he say?”

“I just said I don’t know.” Marco responded. Janna rolled her eyes.

“No, he probably was speaking Enochian! That’s what demons speak! And it can sound garbled sometimes.” She responded.

“You think he was?” Marco asked. Janna nodded. “Well can you help me translate what he was saying?” Marco asked. Janna nodded and opened her back back. She took out a thick book.

“Okay, so here’s the general dictionary.” Janna introduced. “I’m kinda rough at Enochian pronunciation so bear with me.” Janna started reading some of the words from the book.

“I don’t really remember what he was saying.” Marco responded. “I didn’t sound like any of that.”

“I told you I’m bad at this.” Janna defended. She kept reading.

“That word! He definitely said that!” Marco cried think they got somewhere.

“That word means ‘the’… we might want to keep looking.” Janna suggested.

“That can’t be right.” Marco insisted.

“Marco, we’ve been working at the for hours. And you said yourself!” Star jumped up.

“Yeah but… why?” Marco asked. He couldn’t wrap his head around what they had translated.

“Why not?” Star asked.

“This can’t be right. We must have translated something wrong.” Marco insisted.

“Well there’s only one way to find out.” Janna gave Marco a look. He sighed.

“Okay, I guess I have to go talk to Tom.”

——————————————————————————————————————————–

Marco knocked on the door, when Tom answered he looked like he was the other day.

“Marco! H-hey… hi, Marco.” He rambled.

“So I wanted to talk to you about what you said to be the other day.” Marco said. Tom began to burn up all around him.

“Y-yeah?” He asked. Trying to remain calm.

“Well. Janna and Star and I tried to translate it. Janna said it might have been Enochian?”

“It was.” Tom admitted.

“Great because we think we got it but… I mean it can’t be right.” Marco laughed a little. “Because we translated it to you saying… you were in love with me and stuff…” Marco trailed off. Tom blushed violently and tried to keep from burning off his jacket. “That's… not it, is it?” Marco asked. Tom bit his lip.

“No… No of course not.” Tom lied. Hurt and disappointment flashed across Marco’s face.

“Oh… well alright then.” Marco nodded. “What did you say?”

“I was just… nothing important…” Tom lied again. Marco looked sad but then forced a smiled.

“Yeah, it would have been dumb to think that you said you loved me. That stupid.” Marco forced a laugh. Tom’s ear dropped but he also put in a fake smile.

“Yeah… that’d be pretty dumb.” Tom shuffled around. “Well I have to go.” He said quickly. And ran inside, closing the door. Marco sighed and took a deep breath. He was about to leave, but he turned around and knocked on the door again. Tom answered. “Yeah?” He asked, confused as to what he was doing now.

“It’s not dumb.” Marco said too fast. “Um… even if that’s not what you said… your feelings aren’t dumb. So if you like me then it’s fine and it’s not weird.” Marco promised. Tom was silent. “Can you tell me what you said?” Marco pleaded. Tom sighed.

“You were right! I said I loved you! Okay? I told you how great you were and how much I love you!” Tom cried. “I… I’m sorry.” Tom whispered. Marco smiled at him warmly.

“Don’t be sorry Tom… I like you too.” Marco told him. Tom looked shocked. “I’ve been waiting for you to say something because… I always… kind of knew.” Marco admitted. Tom looked up shocked.

“How?”

“Dude, you’re not slick. Do you think I don’t notice how often you burn up around me? And you stutter and get all shy… Yeah you’re not slick, Tom.” Marco admitted. Tom looked humiliated, his face was bright red. “Yeah, you’re doing it now.” Marco said.

“Do I look stupid?” Tom asked. Marco laughed.

“Yeah… But in a cute way.”
