it has a plot

Tony: Your war buddy killed innocent people yesterday.

Steve:

Voltron is weird. No one even talks about the plot. As far as i know the plots not even that good and only has a fandom for its characters but like not in a slice of life way where its lack of plot is meant to be refreshing. And half of the characters barely get any focus anyways and thr fanbase only cares sbout which guy the red one should kiss

@jaydickweek:  Talons/Court of Owls // Father Todd

I know canon gives us formal and somber priest!Jason, but imagine snarky youth group minister Jason (a.k.a. my fave). No connection to Bruce or the afterlife, still the same snarky little shit he was as Robin. He’s a bit gruff because it wasn’t the joker that made him terrible at showing weakness, but he’s protective as hell. The kids fucking love him.

Well.

Most kids. Most kids love him.

And then there’s Damian.

Little feral assassin Damian, fresh out of a disastrous first meeting with Daddy Bats, and he most definitely doesn’t love Jason. But Jason knows an abused kid who needs a way out when he sees one, even if that situation is way out of Jason’s league.

Jason has just started making real progress when Talon shows up. Luckily, and to his very great surprise, Jason’s got Damian to protect him. Of course, then Damian gets attached.

Fast forward, Damian rehabs Talon!Dick by taking the don’t-be-a-murderous-asshole lessons he learned from Jason 30 seconds prior and teaching them inexpertly to Talon. He gets confused and territorial when Youth Minister Jason and Talon start building their own connection, which may eventually go in a slightly unexpected direction.

That thing you draw with matsuhana... Will you keep it up or was it... A one night thing... Sorry i just woke up my head is still dizzy ^^

Uh, if you mean “is there a story to it?” then nope, I just woke up with that scene in mind so I drew it? It was an out-of-the-blue sort of idea but I rolled with it anyway, I guess haha

This!!! This is the chance I’ve been looking for!!!

“So, even with everybody thinking you’re a bad ghost, you’re still gonna try to be the hero?”

“Well, somebody’s gotta. If not me, who’s gonna protect this town? Besides, it’s not like I can ignore a scream for help.”

I am so gonna talk about this boy I’ve been waiting for a good chance to talk about what a good, pure child he is and I am taking it now. Bless his heart I love him so much.

Let’s talk about Daniel James Fenton and why he deserves love and protection forever and always.

plots i need because i’m obsessed with romcoms

  • how to lose a guy in ten days: the bet, the article, both think they’re duping the other
  • before sunrise: strangers meet, they have a connection, but it has an expiration date
  • pretty woman: prostitute with a wealthy person– who doesn’t love cinderella?
  • you’ve got mail: PEN PALS ( you can add in the real life hate for angst )
  • notting hill: basically people with completely different lifestyles fight for love
  • groundhog day: ~you must relive the same day until ur good~
  • what happens in vegas: VEGAS WEDDING!!!! miserable aftermath
  • uptown girls: nanny falls in love with cynical musican
  • whats your number: obsessed with having a low sex count, they find their exes
  • maid in manhattan: MAID&SENATOR (he doesn’t have to be a gross republican tho)
  • my best friend’s wedding: friend breaks marriage pact and u realize u love them
  • forgetting sarah marshall: u & ur ex are at the same hotel
  • bridget jones diary: modern pride and prejudice
  • sweet home alabama: country gone couture realizes they still love their ex
  • a lot like love: we’ve met up every few years & i want to tell you i love you each time
  • 10 things i hate about you: BETS!!!!! BETRAYAL!!!!! DYNAMIC PEOPLE!!!!
  • the proposal: who doesn’t love the fake affair stuff???
  • the wedding planner: we had a thing once and now i’m helping u with ur wedding

  • sleepless in seattle: i heard you on a radio talk show and i’m OBSESSED
  • moonstruck: desperate widow falls in love with her slapdash fiance’s brother
  • no strings attached: besties hookup with no emotions hahahhaha ya right bud
why you should [risk] seeing ‘it:’
  • a bunch of little kids cussing each other out!!!
  • some truly classic one-liners, t r u l y,
  • doesn’t shy away from stephen king’s brutal subject matter for a second
  • pennywise is so well-acted and so are all the kiddos
  • really great score
  • it’s hard to make seven main child actors all feel important and relevant, and they pulled it off
  • main characters include: a kid with a realistic stutter, a kid with anxiety, a young girl standing up to sexualization (and abuse), an overweight kid with a heart of gold, etc.
  • nice sprinkling of awwww moments
  • a bunch of children throwing rocks at each other to rock music
  • some very very clever framing that makes me want to go back and study the film closer
  • the spooks are wise
  • it made me yell
  • good balance of cgi and physical effects—especially in terms of vfx make-up
  • it portrays child abuse on the same level as the rest of their fears and that is important
  • they don’t try to water down anything “because they’re kids,” if that makes sense; but mature themes are handled very well
  • lovely coming-of-age vibes amidst the shapeshifting clown monster
  • they really pulled out all the spooks with this one folks
  • look getting the bejesus scared out of yourself with a full audience is a great experience, this one has a decent plot and top-tier spooks, you should really give it a chance
