The ISSAIO is a device which conveys the approximate location of the ISS in relation to Dundee via musical expression.

It does this by pulling information from a custom script on the web, which contains the current position of the space station above the Earth in terms of longitude and latitude. The on-board Arduino Yun calculates the distance of the ISS and triggers three musical cues: an approaching cue, when the ISS comes within a specified range; on overhead cue when the ISS is close enough to align with Dundee’s geographical longitude; and the departure cue indicating that the ISS is now leaving to the East, until it is out of the specified range.
