israel is war criminal

I was speaking to a friend in Gaza and he told me that his little cousin is writing her name all over her body with her markers, just in case she gets blown up and no one can identify her. She is 11 years old. 11. The psychological pain and trauma the palestinian children go through is absolutely repulsive.

Why Pro Israel? Just curious

I’m pro-Israel because Israel is the historic, cultural, civilizational, religious and political homeland of my people. We have prayed to return to it for two thousand years, and the restoration of a Jewish commonwealth is the realization of that dream.

I’m pro-Israel because my people have suffered countless atrocities and deserve a safe refuge from those who would harm us.

I’m pro-Israel because Israel is an indigenous movement aimed restoring an indigenous people to their ancestral land. Because Jews who came to the land to rebuild a Jewish commonwealth legally bought the land from absentee landlords.

I’m pro-Israel because Israel is a Western democracy with rule of law and justice of all its citizens in a sea of autocrats, dictators and tyrants.

I’m pro-Israel because Israel suffers undue criticism from other nations, liberals and leftists when it defends its citizens from rocket attacks, suicide bombers and terrorist organizations.

I’m pro-Israel because between 800,000 and 1 million Jews were ethnically cleansed from their homes between Morocco and Iran between 1948 and the early 1970s, but no one talks about their “right of return” or any form of compensation for them but the Palestinians have a “fundamental” right to the same.

I’m pro-Israel because Israel is a cultural melting pot of Jews, Arabs, Muslims, Christians, Druze, Circassians, Bahai and other faiths, ethnicities and races. It is a religiously pluralistic country and one that accepts people regardless of religion or creed.

I’m pro-Israel because the United Nations criticizes Israel with unlawful and unjust UN resolutions and its subsidiary organizations. Because the United Nations in 1975 declared Zionism as a form of racism and only renounced it when pressured in the early 1990s.

I’m pro-Israel because the Palestinian Authority is a fundamentally corrupt and unjust organization, where President Mahmoud Abbas as been in power since 2005 and where his term of office ended in 2009. He unilaterally extended it a year, and has been in power ever since, and uses the wealth that Western nations give to the Palestinian Authority to supplement his own wealth, those of his family and his close supporters.

I’m pro-Israel because antisemitism has become more and more normalized and commonplace in international organizations, institutions and events, such as the Rio Olympics and UNESCO where the Temple Mount and Western Wall were declared Muslim holy sites and no mention at all of their status as Jewish holy sites were made.

I’m pro-Israel because the apartheid myth is just that - a myth. Arabs are politicians, lawmakers, journalists, doctors, poets, surgeons, police officers, judges and other professions in Israel. Israel’s third largest party is the Joint Arab List. There are no legal prohibitions against them holding professions, or making them live in specific places, or subjects them to racial discrimination, or anything that apartheid actually is.

I’m pro-Israel because Israel has a free and vibrant media supporting a vast myriad of differing viewpoints.

I’m pro-Israel because Israel is being attacked on college campuses as a war criminal and ethnic cleanser and other insults. Where Jewish students are being assaulted and silenced for being pro Israel. Where there is a climate of fear and intolerance for any student being Zionist.

I’m pro-Israel because anti-Zionism is nothing but a form of antisemitism that seeks to deny Jews as a people the rights of other ethnicities and peoples to form a state.

But just because I am pro-Israel does not mean that I do not support the Palestinians. I support them in peace, I support them in gaining leaders who respect human rights and desire peace. I support them teaching their children the hope of peace, instead of teaching their children nothing but hate and violence. I support them in removing the antisemitic media that permeates all of Palestinian society.

So, let me get this straight…the Palestinian Authority wants to be party to an international tribunal with prosecutorial power against war criminals – as opposed to gaining sovereign rights through terrorism or violence – and Israel decides that this is so unacceptable that it withholds tax revenue earned by and due to the Palestinians? This comes less than a week after the United States and Australia voted down a United Nations Security Council resolution calling for Palestinian statehood.

“I have striven not to laugh at human actions, not to weep at them, not to hate them, but to understand them.” – Baruch Spinoza, Tractatus Politicus, 1676

If we demand that the Palestinians use legal and peaceful means to achieve their ends, I don’t understand what it is we’re asking them to do and how we want them to do it when we actively work to create obstacles for Palestinian statehood and sovereignty. Since the most powerful nation in the world is effectively using their veto power in the United Nations so as not to ruffle the feathers of the Israeli government, what else can the Palestinians do? They decide to try to gain recognition as a sovereign state by joining as many international organizations and signing on to as many treaties as possible, yet that’s still not acceptable. The Palestinian Authority – and through them, the Palestinian people – are, in effect, being punished for attempting to join an international body with a mandate to end genocide, achieve justice for victims of crimes against humanity, and bring war criminals to trial. That’s literally the opposite of a path to peace. Yet we wonder why desperate people with seemingly hopeless causes are driven to terrorism? And we don’t understand why it is often directed towards us?

“Peace cannot be worth its name unless it is based on justice, and not on the occupation of the land of others.” – Egyptian President Anwar al-Sadat, speaking to the Israeli Knesset, Jerusalem, November 20, 1977

Muhammad Sultan Abbasi, a 14-year-old child from Jerusalem.
He was arrested at the age of 12 by Israel and released two days ago at the age of 14. In this picture he is crying and hugging his sister after two years.

The number of children prisoners (under 18 year old) in Israeli jails has become 132. It’s really shocking, that 19 of these children are under 16 years old. These children face torture and inhumane treatment, which needs to stop! Stop supporting Israeli apartheid!

After a year of losing some truly great humans – including Hugo Chavez, Nelson Mandela, Vo Nguyen Giap, Amiri Baraka, Chin Peng, Herman Wallace – FINALLY somebody remembered to turn off Sharon’s life support machine.

Rest In Piss, Ariel Sharon. You were a brutal, maniacal, racist, zionist, morally degenerate, murdering bastard.

Back in school I remember thinking “How did Hitler get over 6 million people to follow along blindly and not fight back?” Then I realised I’m watching the world walking the same path now.

To the supporters of Israel

Israel is the only entity that sends heavy artillery into the worlds most densely populated strip of land. Around 3 weeks into this continued genocide, Israel has already murdered approximately 1,500 civilians, with 59 IDF casualties on the Israeli side. You want to know who started fighting? Israel was created out of terrorism and ethnic cleansing and maintains itself through terrorism. The so called ‘IDF’ was formed out of the Irgun, Haganah and the Stern Gang, all responsible for the murder of Palestinian civilians (deir yasin massacre, the bombing of the king David hotel, the assassination of UN Offical Count Bernadotte etc) and forced exile of 750,000 Palestinians.
Hamas is a resistance organization, created in 1987 after the violent Israeli crackdown on peaceful Palestinian protesters, so don’t you fucking dare give me that ‘Hamas was out to get Israel from the start’ bullshit.
The fact of the matter is that you support a regime that practices occupation, colonization, ethnic cleansing, siege, blockade, genocide, massacres, apartheid, institutionalized racism, bombing schools, homes, UN buildings, indiscriminately targeting civilians, incessant home demolitions, putting a civilian population on a diet, blooming a settler colonial state built on stolen land and appropriated culture, continuously building illegal Jewish-only settlements, Jewish-only roads, Jewish-only buses, Jewish-only water fountains.
Israel is a racist, apartheid, war mongering, genocidal state.

We’ve been suffering from the occupation for generations, Palestinians have been in refugee camps all around the world, which most of weren’t for human inhabitants, refugees are also banned from entering their homeland, and no one ever batted an eye. But when an angry Palestinian who has lost everything, and has nothing left to live for, tries to stab a settler, he is disturbed,  he is sick, he is a murderer, and his entire family, and probably neighborhood has to pay for it. This youth is angry, and when I say settler I’m talking about the worst kind of Israelis, and don’t tell me not to generalize, especially in this case. When the 4 year old kid whose home was burnt by settlers and lost all of his family members because they were all burned alive, grows up, and tries to stab a settler he is not disturbed,  he is angry at the world that didn’t do a thing when that happened. When few cousins who are all below the age of 13, play soccer on the beach and then Israeli air strikes bombs them and kills everyone except one of them, who grows up with A LOT of mental problems, in Gaza, where Israel does not allow any medical help to pass there, when that kid grows up, and tries to stab a settler, or an Israeli soldier, he is not disturbed, he is angry. So don’t tell me you understand,  because I don’t even understand,  don’t tell me that it’s kind of our fault too or that violence can’t be stopped with violence, because when all of these kids grow up, angry, their wounds and bruises grow all the way with them, they can never heal. And neither you, nor I can do anything, but let them try to heal themselves.
