If power rangers gets a sequel I just want lionsgate to know that The Gays™ singlehandedly rose that movie from the ashes of its terrible box office opening so I’m expecting a thank u in the form of trimberly
Keith: I’m half-Galra. Dunno what my Dad was, but it doesn’t matter.
Pidge: Whoa, that’s so cool! I’m not entirely sure on all the details, but I’m probably, like, 25% Italian? Maybe less than that? Definitely have some British and Irish roots somewhere, maybe a little Dutch and German? A smidge of French?
Okay so I wanted to make this small thing just to demonstrate a really simple but neat tip for other people who are beginners to digital art, which is basically just selectively colouring your line art. The effect looks a little more interesting and helps bring out background colours!
I usually do this everywhere except on the hard outlines (the outside of the image and between two areas that are very contrasting) but doesn’t need to be exactly this way.
I’ve noticed most digital artists seem to do this, but I hadn’t really seen an explanation before. Though keep in mind you don’t have to always do it! Sometimes solid black (or solid something else) line art can look cool too, I’m very wary of tutorials that tell you that you have to do something a certain way every time.
But anyway… I thought it might be useful to post a side by side comparison like this in case it helps anyone to see it more clearly, since the difference is pretty subtle.
And remember: Don’t be afraid to experiment!╰(⸝⸝⸝´꒳`⸝⸝⸝)╯
I think it was clear that Trini is a lesbian. I feel like she would’ve denied the “girlfriend troubles” if it wasn’t true. And, yeah she could be bi, but Zack immediately stopped hitting on her after that scene and they were just bros for the rest of the movie. Something he probably wouldn’t have done if he knew she was still into guys.
I admit the scene was a little more open ended than I would’ve liked, but hopefully they crack down on it more in the next movie.
