islamic door

Your fear of being punished because of your sins should open a door of hope for you, not close it. For Allah has said He will never close His doors in front of you as long as you keep turning to Him. As long as you keep asking for forgiveness. Even if your sins are as wide as the heavens and the earth, His doors will never close. Unless you close them yourself. And they will only close because you despaired of His Mercy.

Shrine of Baha-ud-Din Zakariya, Multan, Pakistan.

The city of Multan is famous for its numerous tombs and shrines, especially those of sufi saints and poets. One of its most prominent saints was Baha-ud-din Zakariya, who lived in the 13th century.

His humble mausoleum is covered in simple, yet elegant sandy bricks with azure patterns. This is one of the doors to the main tomb.

Trust in Allah Ta'ala. He won’t just open closed doors, but create doors that didn’t exist, and open them for you.
