is-done

okay but imagine all the amis carrying around little packs of gold star stickers to give to people when they make an accomplishment! not the big accomplishments.the little everyday ones that should be celebrated.

Cosette and Jehan probably started it all but it slowly spread to everyone until it became amis tradition

Bossuet went a day without injury? Gold star! Ferre learned a new thing about moths or stars? gold star! Bahorel didn’t pick a figh all week? gold star! Grantaire got out of bed today? gold star!

then when they’re having bad days they can just look at all those stickers and remember they may not always be the best versions of themselves but “hey i got a gold star. i did something good today.”

also grantaire being bombarded by a determined enjolras with stickers on his bad days like “was a great boyfriend today” “didn’t forget my morning kiss” “knows how to make the coffee i like” “makes great art” and basically any reason he can think of

A little over a year ago I posted my first fanart for @carpedm87“s solangelo fanfic On Tour. I had barely 100 followers, my art was amateur at best and I had never actually talked to anyone in here despite being on the website since 2011.

I think that fanart was a turning point for me. There was my blog before the On Tour fanart and my blog after the On Tour fanart. I’ve made countless drawings for that fic since then, my art improved A LOT, I just passed 2100 followers and I’ve made great friends (including the writer herself who is my absolute bae and I love her).

The fanfiction now only has one chapter left, so this is my last ever On Tour fanart and I just wanted to say thank you, to Kim and to all of you who have supported me through this past year. Thank you for going on this journey with me!

Last one out hit the lights <3

TL;DR: I get emotional over a fanfic

anonymous asked:

hey, if you get a chance, could you bless us once more with translation corrections, because i'm pretty sure mangastream, (in their infinite generosity), took /a lot/ of liberties this week with Tokyo Ghoul and it's making even harder to figure out an already complicated situation. Thanks!

You flatter me, anon! But I’m slightly less busy now, so let’s take me out for a spin, although there aren’t many mistakes in this chapter, don’t worry.

When Kaneki talks to Eto, he says “That’s… rude” not “reckless”. Eto replies, “Sticking to one’s beliefs is always a rude thing to do. You know how bad-mannered I am.” The word they use can be translated as “reckless”, but here it (Kaneki’s like) refers to a Japanese custom of having to return favors, and (Eto’s line) to how doing your own thing is considered bad manners.

“There’s no need for you to hear [my request]” should be “There’s no need  for you to honor it”.

Arima’s “That’s great” should be “Must be nice”, or “Lucky you”. Something in this vein. Arima’s line indicated that he’s jealous of Eto.

I would also very much like to know why both ghouls and the OEK are inanimate objects in this chapter (”it”, really?). Also x2, Eto doesn’t swear. At least, that much.
