is this a masterpost

6.23.17 hello everyone! As a celebration and thank you for 4k followers (oh my goodness thank you so very much I still can’t believe it and am so grateful for all of you <3) I’m making my first master post!  I’m going to be a high school senior this fall, and I’ve found myself struggling with how to prepare and organize everything I need for applications and senior year. I love the bullet journal system to plan my life, so I decided to create a bullet journal notebook specifically for college and share it with all of you in case it might be helpful for anyone else.

(also since this is my first masterpost so sorry if the formatting/style isn’t perfect just yet. I’m still working on it and can’t wait to bring more content in the future!)

Yoongi Who?(m)

/sure. it is the story i wrote almost 2 months ago but i had to repost it cause something got fucked with tumblr and it just said “this post went to heaven, url not found etc” and while I was at fixing it I re-edited some parts a bit. Hopefully there are not many typos left. /

Song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZ4RAOxx6XA

Genre: plain Smut
Word count: over 6K

You can see his smirk in your head as you finger yourself. It was the 5th time you touch yourself and it was barely Thursday. You play with your clit, imagining his tongue playing with your bud as you shove a 3rd finger inside your walls. Pictures of him thrusting on stage and biting his lips seductively fills your mind.

You are beyond worked up, scissoring your fingers as you rush towards your sweet release when your phone vibrates beside you on the nightstand. You groan annoyed but try to focus on your orgasm, hoping that whoever tries to bother you would give up and leave you fantasizing about that tongue technology.

this isn’t so much directly tied to alluka gender discourse as me being pedantic but i want to clear up kind of a misconception here about the japanese language

japanese has gendered third person pronouns like any other language, 彼(kare) and 彼女(kanojo)

(and yes the japanese pronoun for she/her is literally just the masculine pronoun plus the kanji for woman which is a little…..not that that’s unique to japanese. but anyway)

BUT the thing about the japanese language is…a lot of japanese language is really indirect/leaves stuff implied rather than directly stated. and also wrt to second and third person pronouns, japanese speakers often just use the person’s name instead of pronouns in situations where a pronoun might be used in english

so like. alluka literally is never referred to with any gendered pronouns in the original japanese, with the only possible exception being in side materials i am not familiar with. this is not out of avoidance or anything - that’s just how the language works. that being said, english works very differently from japanese, so the subtitles/manga translations (official and scanlations) had to incorporate pronouns of some sort

to that end, the official translations made the correct choices! out of the zoldycks, only milluki and illumi ever referred to alluka with gendered language directly, and well…the scenes in which that happened sure had some implications, which i addressed already in the linked post. the rest of the zoldyck family, barring killua (and kalluto, who we haven’t seen talk about alluka at all yet), never use gendered language for alluka at all. however, between how illumi and milluki address her, the family’s general attitude toward alluka outside of her gender, and the fact that the family butlers* refer to alluka with variants on 坊ちゃん(botchan = “young master,” lit. someone else’s son), i think the only correct translation choice is having them use he/him pronouns to refer to her

even killua never uses any pronouns for alluka. however, he consistently, repeatedly, refers to her as his sister. there’s actually so few direct uses of gendered language wrt alluka that the number of times killua refers to her as his sister/the fact that he directly says that she’s a girl (whereas no one directly calls her a boy) stands out. even a line killua says where he refers to himself and alluka as siblings uses nonstandard kanji (兄妹= older brother + younger sister) in the manga to emphasize that he’s referring to alluka as his sister, even in a gender neutral phrase. (apparently, the standard 兄弟, literally “brothers” but used gender neutrally as “siblings,” was used in the original print in jump but was updated in the tankoban release; also, the title of the next chapter was also  兄妹) so uh, given all that, she/her was definitely the correct translation choice for his dialogue (and, you know, should be the pronouns we as viewers/readers use for her, but that’s what all this other meta is for)

(incidentally, japanese has one thing that many other languages do not, english included: gendered personal pronouns. these aren’t necessarily directly indicative of self-identity, but there are definitely pronouns that are more than a little odd to use if you identify as a cis boy or girl. alluka refers to herself as “atashi,” which is a generally feminine, girlish pronoun. if she were a cis boy, i suppose it would not be impossible for her to use “atashi,” but it would be…unusual.)

*i think with the exception of canary and gotoh, who i think just call her alluka-sama, but also they’re the two butlers most loyal to killua.

Maximize your sleeping time (aka how to be a lazy asshole and sleep in)

Would you prefer waking up at 7:50 than at 7? Or maybe you’re a Tired College Student™ like me who’s in their second semester just waiting for the sweet release of death? Either way, today I’m going to be v non-studyblr and show you how you too can be a lazy asshole and sleep in.

  • Lay out your clothes the night before. If you feel like trash sweater + leggins takes 2 mins to put on and feels like PJs
    • If you shower at night just sleep in your leggins tbh.
  • If you have bangs do them the night before and sleep on your back. If you can’t keep still, wear headphones bc they’ll keep you from turning. It’s better for your back anyway.
  • Brush your hair before bed and tie it up so that it’s faster to brush in the morning.
    • Tbh smoothing the ends and the top layer works just as well.
    • Get a Tangle Teezer. It’ll save you so much time.
  • If you plan on using dry shampoo, do It the night before. It’ll absorb way more oil and you just have to brush it and go in the morning.
  • If you wear makeup, have all your basics in one easy to reach place.
    • If you take the bus or sth just do your makeup there.
    • If you need to wet your beauty blender, carry a mini spray bottle of water in your makeup bag.
  • Carry rollerballs of perfume in your backpack so that you don’t have to waste time putting it on.
  • Have your fucking backpack ready the night before.
  • Have a designated place near the door for the shit you need to carry (keys, glasses, USBs, idk). If you know what shoes you’re gonna wear, put them in front of the door and leave everything you need inside of them.
  • Putting on a coat is faster if it’s hung on a chair than if it’s hung on a hanger.
  • Breakfast is essential. Doesn’t mean you can’t just take it with you and eat it during break or on your way to school.
    • Make it the night before and put it in the fridge if it’’s temperature sensitive. Avocado toast can be turned into a mess free sandwich js. Also you can make overnight oats in a mason jar and take them with you.
  • Same with coffee. Honestly at this point just carry a bottle of it in your backpack. It lasts for like three days.

And that’s how to be a Slightly More Rested Mess. I realize this is not for everyone but hey, desperate times call for desperate meassures.

that’s all for now; hopefully this is helpful to someone. please remember to take care of yourself! your health comes first!!!
