i still can’t get over how trini smiled at kim here……the was she has her hands in her lap with a genuine smile looking at her like she is everything holy on this earth this is honestly the gayest thing ever imagine thinking she’s not in love
A/N: SOMEONE reminded me of Sherlock using the riding crop week ago and I realized I had not thought of it enough, or even enjoyed it enough. So let’s dig into it, shall we? Also I might be writing about Molly a bit too harshly on this one, but I really like her character, so don’t think I’m trying to bully her.
Warnings: smut, so much smut, riding crop, bondage, it ended up with dom!sherlock I think that’s the riding crop’s fault, some swearing.
”Oh, you’re here with that again.” Molly Hooper gasped at the sight of the riding crop in Sherlock’s hand. She had not expected to see him with it ever again. Her fingers fiddled the files she held so dearly against her chest, nervously taking in uneven breaths, her eyes wide and a warm smile creeping it’s way on her thin pink lips. Those brown beaming eyes fixing on the man’s face in front of her, trying to get an answer to an unsaid question that was right at the tip of her tongue and since she got none, deciding to make herself heard she squeaked out, ”Another experiment?”
Sherlock’s expressionless face was still blank, his pale skin almost shining under the bright white lights that shone from the lamps above them in the hallway down stairs in St. Bartholomew’s hospital at the morgue section. He faked a smile, trying his best to seem sincere, but the curve on his lips disappearing as fast as it appeared after he answered to Molly’s presumption by, ”Yes, obviously.” He then gazed over Molly’s shoulder to the door she had just exited, her spot where she examined the bodies brought in for crime consulting. ”Is your room free for use?” The smile reappearing on his face, eyes shining as he sweetly pointed towards the door.
Molly too gazed over her shoulder, dumbfounded by Sherlock’s straight forward demeanor, her pony tail swishing while following her head’s movement back and forth. She sharply turned back to Sherlock and looked disappointingly doubtful. In these occasions Sherlock would need to give Molly numerous compliments to get her bend to his will, usually two or three would do it, and he still had some laying about in the deeps of his mind. He didn’t usually settle for being told no, but even as easy as Molly was he hated to go through the trouble. Then again he didn’t need to feel bad. He was in a relationship, she knew it too. He could point out a nice thing or two about her appearance without feeling guilt.
”Well, I actually just cleared the hall and was about to get home…” Molly muttered biting down on her lower lip. She was still staring right back as Sherlock with her big eyes, much like a puppy. As Sherlock stared back at her she tried to find something, anything, to fix her eyes on so she wouldn’t feel uncomfortable by the silence that took over the hallway the both had blocked. Her fingers drummed the surface of the file on her arms and before Sherlock got to test his new compliment on Molly she sighed, ”I could stay for an hour longer.”
Sherlock genuinely smiled, thanked Molly and followed after her as she turned on her heels and headed back to her spot, keeping the door open for Sherlock as he followed close behind. He was a step away from Molly, but he was careful enough not to step on her heels, keeping the distance long enough to avoid doing so. He instructed Molly what he needed, a body, in what position and age, which actually at this point were all unnecessary to him, but to keep with his habits he went by it anyway. He picked an older woman, not over fifty years old, chubby, about a day old corpse.
When you entered the hospital after receiving a message from Sherlock, where he suggested you to meet him at the morgue before going to Baker Street, you took the elevator to the down floors. He rather would company you on your way to his flat than have you wait him there for fifteen to sixty minutes when you could wait for him hear, right next to him.
You knew he was there for an experiment, but you hadn’t been informed which kind, but it wasn’t the first time. He didn’t much go with explaining everything and every part of his work to you, only when he saw fit. You exited the elevator, turned down the hall, through a door and saw Molly Hooper standing close to a window. She was flinching at the sight ahead of her that you were unable to witness. This made your imagination run wild. If Sherlock was cutting a corpse to pieces, scaring Molly you would let him hear from it for sure.
You and Molly were rather good friends, though you didn’t see each other that often. You had known her longer than Sherlock and back then, when you finally met the man Molly had been daydreaming about, constantly talking about him, you felt really bad for finding him charming, sexy and interesting. You wanted to know him better, you could point out just how unique person he was by first standing and that intrigued you. Sherlock, back then, didn’t much try to approach you and actually acted very cold toward you, but as time passed he did become interested in you. The truth was that he had found you just as interesting as you had found him, but, incapable of handling feelings and emotions he tried to push you away. But when Sherlock did tell you how he felt you fought back, for Molly. You didn’t want to be that friend that steals boyfriend or a crush, though Sherlock and Molly had never dated. Time went by and Molly realized how much Sherlock cared for you, she insisted you to let him take you out and you did. Now you had been dating for almost a year with the detective and it didn’t bother Molly, she still did fancy Sherlock, yes, but would never do anything, or try anything because she knew you and him were together.
You approached Molly with long strides, your hands sway on either side of you, your shoes hitting the floor and the sound echoing loudly, but it wasn’t enough to bring Molly back from her trance. Only until you were right beside her, already talking, she jumped realizing you were there. She was holding a file in her arms, her white long jacket almost burying her form under, her hands barely showing as she held the file high, the top touching her chin. You took a stand next to her after you had greeted her and asked her, ”What’s he doing?” Molly simply nodded towards the window.
You turned to look through the glass and what you saw almost stopped your heart, the breath you took getting stuck in your throat. The reflection of your boyfriend on the other side moved fast, mirroring his movements as he kept whipping the pale lifeless body, hair falling on his face, sweat drops lining on his forehead. He was so concentrated on what he was doing that he hadn’t even noticed you, much like Molly just now. You and she stood there in silence for a minute, admiring Sherlock in his tight purple dress shirt, black jacket and trousers that hugged his body perfectly, not too tight to bother his doings.
Your eyes were captivated by the show. You pressed your thighs together, trying to evade the wetness that increased between your legs from growing, your cheeks turning pink. You could hear your own breathing, deep and long breaths. You felt ashamed that you were standing by your good friend when your boyfriend was right there, making you feel like this. The whip was drawn back then coming down in a fast swish, the end of the crop must likely echoing in the other room. Sherlock’s hair pulled back when he straightened his back, readying for another spank, then falling over his eyes when his head lowered. It took all of your efforts to move your gaze away from Sherlock and to finally concentrate on Molly, to try and be polite like a normal human being should.
”How have you been, Molly?” You asked and even if you had tried to sound as friendly and natural it didn’t show. You ended up reminding of your shy demeanor where you had only just met the woman in front of you and this was the first time talking to her which was not true. She was your closest friend. You had seen Molly repeatedly just last month. Of course these days always Sherlock being precent. ”I haven’t seen you in a while.” You gave her a warm smile to which she answered with one of her own. You started a conversation that was irrelevant to Sherlock’s on going spanking in the next room, and you kept up with it for about ten minutes. You were talking about work and Molly’s life. She had met someone who she considered worthy of her time and you cheered her to go for it, just like she had done with you on Sherlock. After those ten minutes she looked at her phone screen to see the clock and gasped. She had two missed calls and she was late from seeing this mysterious man of hers.
You put your hands comfortingly on her shoulders, promised her you and Sherlock would finish things in here while she went to change so she could clean up after Sherlock and get to her man. Molly thanked you and rushed to change, typing on her phone and then as she went to enter through a door she lifted her phone over her ear to call. You turned back to Sherlock who still kept spanking and couldn’t but freeze for another minute. He lifted his gaze, took couple of uncontrolled steps and flinched, or so it looked like, as he saw you there instead of Molly. He smirked and nodded his head, out of breath he was, to which you answered by a wave of your hand and mouthing ’Hi’ to him. He beckoned you to company him on the other side of the glass and you did as you were asked.
”Hello, Sherlock.” You smiled, closing the door behind you. The soft click heard by you both, your hand lingering on the handle while you stood near the entrance. Sherlock smirked at you and your weariness, a chuckle leaving his lips, his hands gripping the riding crop, eyes fixed on it, but not concentrated by the object. He spun on his heels, his eyes were gleaming by now, at the sight of you, and he was greatly humored by something. He tilted his head and asked, ”Did you enjoy the show?”
”Molly needs to leave soon so better finish up what you’re doing.” You informed in an ordering tone trying to change the subject, but still held a playful smile on your lips. You walked right beside Sherlock, the room was probably a degree or two warmer than on the other side. Your steps were short, but fast enough as you approached him, not letting him grow impatient while he already waited to embrace you. He held his left hand stretched inviting you for a side hug and as you reached his arm he pulled you to his side, kissing your right temple. The riding crop was still in his right hand, his fingers gripping on it, holding it on his side and the tip of it brushing close the floor.
”I’m almost ready.” He said and his left hand’s fingers wrapped around your wrist, then a smirk spread on his lips. ”So you did enjoy the show?” That bastard just checked your pulse, you realized. ”Someone’s exited.” He stated and you looked up at his bright shining eyes and a smile he tried to keep away from spreading on his lips. His hair looked more black than dark brown in the dim light in the room you were in and it shadowed his whole face, strands of hair hanging loosely over his face. You wanted to hit him, but Sherlock pulled you closer, your hands pressed on either side of your body making it impossible for you to inform him of your opinion. You settle for a frown which wasn’t as effective as a fist to his shoulder would’ve been.
He laughed at your expression, you reminded him of an unhappy child and he rubbed your left arm with his that was still wrapped around you. He leaned closer, his breath tickling your skin, lips brushing your ear, ”There. Finished.” It came out in a choked chuckled he had tried to hide, but failed. You suspected he really even cared you had caught him finding the situation humorous, then again you didn’t even know what the situation was in the first place, so you gave him a suspicious grin, your body leaning inches away from him to your left to get a better look at him.
”You didn’t even do anything.” You pin pointed, eyebrows low and eyes slightly narrowed but not scowling, amusement clear on your features but still doubtful. You could see Sherlock smile wickedly at your statement, his head turning towards the window to see had Molly already come back but fortunately was met with a sight of an empty hallway. He laughed and pulled you close again, whispering to your ear, ”Tell me, how long had you been watching?” You answered with, ”Ten minutes or so.” Of course you weren’t hundred percent sure. Sherlock nodded in agreement and looked away again. He had had hard time looking straight back at you for some reason and you kept trying to catch his attention, but failed.
”Guess that’s enough.” Sherlock admitted to himself. He pulled away from the hug and started to get ready to leave, he took his jacket near the doorway, from a hanger as well as his scarf. He didn’t give you any answers from there on. You met Molly before exiting the hospital then headed to hail for a cab. Sherlock opened the door for you, he was smiling constantly and in very good mood. He sat right beside you in the cab, closer than usually and what he did through the whole ride gave away what he was up to. His hand was on your thigh, caressing and massaging the surface of your pants, inching higher and higher. You couldn’t stop smiling. So this was one of those days then. His eagerness surprised you, that you had to admit.
When you finally got to Baker Street, Sherlock paid the ride, rushing to open the door to his flat for you and when you went inside, he shut the door with a loud bang. You were taking your coat off when Sherlock took a stand right behind you, his front pressed firmly against your back. His breath lingered on your shoulders and you could hear him panting. He was so deliciously needy for you by now that you couldn’t help but tease him a little.
”Leave your coat and shoes, get upstairs to my bedroom and start stripping.” He growled in your ear. You knew he would get impatient in a second, but you wanted this. He had made you go through his show, now he had to go through yours. The coat you were wearing had now fallen off your shoulders, hanging on your elbows when you gazed at Sherlock over your shoulder, peeking at him sexily, biting your lower lip and asked, ”Do you want me completely naked or in my underwear?” You teased, pulling your hair back so he could see you better. He sucked air in his lungs, his eyes narrowing when he hissed, ”Everything on the floor. And don’t make me wait for another second, or I will have to punish you.” You tried to keep the chuckle in. Oh you would enjoy this.
”Are we in a hurry?” You purred, now fully facing him, on your tip toes. Your hands found their way on his shoulders, your lips touching his chin as you went to whisper, ”Are you too eager you can’t wait any longer?” That was when Sherlock snapped. He growled, lifting the riding crop to his mouth and bit on it, lowered his shoulders, his coat falling on the floor, he ripped his scarf off around his neck, that too on the floor in a blink and then he hooked his hands behind your thighs, pulling you to him, lifting you up. Your chest was pressed against his, your hands now behind his back, legs around his hips as he started to carry you upstairs. You giggled at his sudden dominance.
Sherlock carried you straight to his room, kicking the ajar door open with his foot and threw you on the bed, closing the door just as loudly as the front door. He gave you a wild, lustful look, taking the crop from his mouth and ordered you, ”Clothes off. Now.” And you did as he asked. You took your time though, giving him a show you slid your pants down with slow motion, your shirt pulled over your head, your hips swinging while you stripped. You could see the bulge in Sherlock’s pants. You bit your lip again, now taking the top that had been under your long sleeved shirt, lifting it to shield your eyes and while you were at it, Sherlock approached you fast, pulling the cloth off you and throwing it somewhere in his room. You unclasped your bra, taking it off while Sherlock went down on you. You heard him moan as he took a whiff. ”So wet for me already.” He moaned, taking your knickers, ”Just as I suspected.” then pushing you back down on his bed.
His room was dark, the only light came from through the thin and light curtains, but it wasn’t much. Then again you didn’t really care was it day light or moon light in which you fucked, just that you could see his face. You crawled back on the bed, Sherlock taking a step closer, he hungrily studied your now naked body. You lifted your head and dared to ask, ”Aren’t you going to take yours off?” That made Sherlock smile. It was one of those dominant smiles that gave you the answer. This was going to take time. You were in for a good and long play, wether you liked it or not, and Sherlock would make sure you would suffer. This wasn’t going to be one of those fair fights, but a foreplay with Sherlock was never fair. He would make sure to torture you with a long teasing. ”I don’t need to take mine off.” He chuckled. That cocky bastard.
”Shame, I would love to help.” You smirked. You made a risky move, lifting your leg up in the air, your toes touching the bulge in his pants and rubbing the fabric that shielded his cock. You looked at Sherlock daringly, about to inch closer to unbuckle his belt when he shoved your leg away with a grunt. He took a hold of your ankles, pulled at them so you were laying on your back, towering over you and whispered with a low, threatening tone, ”One more move and I will tie you to the bed, darling.” This sent a shiver down your spine, your folds pulsing. You gave out a shaky breath, not able to contain yourself. You didn’t know was that what you wanted, for Sherlock to tie you down or to just go with what he had planned already? He was already warning you and you knew he could be very ruthless towards you in bed, but you also knew when you were challenged you couldn’t back up.
You kneed his groin fast but softly enough to not hurt him. His back arched and he moaned out loud in your ear. You moved your leg, your knee rubbing his bulge. You couldn’t continue it longer than five seconds before Sherlock pulled away from you. You sat up, half disappointed how long he lasted but half amused by his angered expression. He took fast long steps, took a pair of hang cuffs from his locker and turned to you. You playfully whined and pouted. ”Aw, come now Sherlock. I was just returning the favor.” You pulled your hands behind your back as if that would stop him from cuffing you to the bed and like you had suspected, it didn’t.
”On your stomach, woman.” He ordered coldly. You knit your brows together. You knew you were in for trouble as he addressed you by ’woman’ and you felt hesitant on turning your back to him. This resulted Sherlock rolling his eyes at you, he walked over to you, took you by the shoulders and turned you over. His hands were awfully forceful and powerful and you couldn’t fight him nor did you want to. You were in a state where every move he made, every touch he gave you made you tingle. His fingers wrapped around your left wrist, cuffed it and pulled it around one of the headboards iron bars. Then he took a hold of your right wrist, securing it with the other and got up from the bed. You looked at Sherlock over your shoulder, he admired your exposed body and you could tell that you disobeying, ending you cuffed to the bed had only turned him on even more.
He took the riding crop from the floor where he had dropped it when he had helped you strip, eyeing the object dangerously interested in it. He let his fingers caress the crop, taking his time admiring the item. Your breathing started to quicken. You had never done this before and were honestly nervous by now. You knew you could deal with pain, but you had never experienced it while sex, not like this. You had to admit that you had found it hot when he had whipped the dead body back in the hospital, secretly wanted him to use it on you, but now that you were there, laying naked on your stomach ready for a beating you couldn’t help but worry.
”This is going to serve as your punishment, for starters.” Sherlock informed, his eyes now back on you. ”But only for starters as I am aware this will also turn you on even more, so do not think I am being nice to you.” He warned with a low voice. He then lifted the crop and swished it through the air, the tip hitting you hard on your left butt cheek. You chocked out a sound that was a mix of yelp, gasp and shriek. The touch of the crop was so sudden and the pain so fast like a big elastic band hitting your rear you couldn’t make out sound louder than the snap itself that echoed from the spank.
”Now, count out with me.” Sherlock instructed coldly and showed no remorse which only exited you more. ”When you are unable to feel the blows only then I will stop. That was one.” He waited, but you said nothing. He huffed in irritation, then hit you again with the crop, hearing you gasp. ”One!” He yelled and you repeated his words shortly. ”Good girl.” Sherlock cooed, pleased at your cooperation and you felt the words sink in. You were getting wet by his hits, but him dressing you like that, so dominantly made you lose your mind.
You had reached to five when Sherlock stopped. He let his hand caress your red, sensitive behind with his tender fingers. You had never imagined that the sensation that came from being hit repeatedly and then caressed could feel this good, it really felt like a reward more than a punishment. Your body shook under his touch, anticipating to get a real reward from your dominant boyfriend, but your movements back fired. Sherlock mused, ”I see you can still feel my touch.” You whined when he withdrew his hand from you and gripped the crop. He held it high, over his head and calmly said, ”Keep counting with me, love.” And he brought it down hard. Thankfully it took him only six more spanks to find you silent, not responding and he stopped. He sat beside you and started caressing your behind.
You were out of breath, your ass tingling and cheeks wet from tears. You had to admit you had liked the spanking, the crop would definitely need to stay around, but you intended that next time it would be drawn on his skin, not yours. You relaxed as much as you could on the bed, the soft blankets underneath you caressing your skin nicely, warm from your body heath. You nuzzled your head to the pillows, moaned while Sherlock treated your stinging arse.
”Spread your legs for me.” Sherlock ordered after a while of silence and this time, without any nasty remarks or witty comebacks you did as he said. You couldn’t see, but you heard from his voice that he was smirking. ”Someone has learned their lesson.” This sent a spark through you and you instantly wanted to show him just how submissive you had become, it was in your nature to keep fighting and resisting. ”Good girl.” Sherlock purred and that made all the thoughts of resistance fade. You were a slave to that word. Oh how much you loved hearing him say it.
Sherlock got closer to the between of your legs, he took the riding crop out again, holding it loosely in his hand. You reacted to his movements and went to close your legs, but Sherlock stopped you. He took a hold of your calves and kept them in place with an iron like grip. ”Don’t close them.” He warned. You forced your legs to relax and let him do what he was about to. You jumped on the bed when he brought the tip of the crop up your wet slit, gathering some of your juices to it to examine how wet you were. You heard him groan, pleased by your wetness. He then threw the crop away, it ended up on the floor far away from the bed. You smiled, thinking finally you could get you release.
Sherlock reached over your body, his breath tickling your neck and he placed his lips on your bare skin, kissing you softly. He went down your spine, his hands on both side of your waist. He lingered at your lower back, his breath warm against you, kissing and licking your skin, worshipping you. You were breathing loudly, ready for him to take, to give you your release, but Sherlock was far from that. He went back up, his lips guiding him, back to your shoulders and to your neck. His curly hair ghosted on your cheek, his hands cupping your breasts. Oh how you had needed that. He massaged your nipples with his fingers, making sure to keep you moaning.
”Please.” You moaned in between deep breaths. ”Please, Sherlock.” You gasped. Sherlock grinned. You were already begging, how sad. ”Sherlock, I can’t take this anymore, I need you.” Your voice grew louder and louder, but Sherlock kept his pace steady, horribly slow. You didn’t want him to treat you this way, not now when he had started so dominantly, turning to your gentle lover that took his time to give all your body parts equally the same amount of love. His voice surprised you. It was nothing like what his actions gave out. He almost growled in your ear, ”You think you have learned your lesson?” He asked. You were baffled. What lesson? If he didn’t mean you disobeying his orders then you had no idea what he was talking about. ”When I give you an order, I expect you to follow it. No questions asked.” Good, so you were on the same page. You nodded your head, then moaned, ”I’ll be good. I’m a good girl. I’ll do what ever you say.” An evil grin spread on Sherlock’s lips. ”That is what I am counting on.” He gave you a last kiss, then pulled away. You heard him get off the bed, starting to strip. You were about to turn on your back when Sherlock snapped, ”I didn’t tell you to move. Don’t make me punish you again, love.”
You waited as he agonizingly slowly undressed himself, he could see you twitch on the bed, your eyes taking in every new naked part of him as he pulled the clothes off. ”How does it feel?” He asked. ”To have to wait for me?” You frowned. So this was payback time? ”It’s killing me.” You whispered truthfully. Sherlock hummed in agreement. ”Good.” He stated, now finally fully naked, his wonderful cock rock hard, pointing towards you. He walked closer, you moved on the bed but not changing your position. ”Now on your fours.” He said.
”Aren’t you going to uncut me?” You asked truly surprised. You longed to touch him. You longed to turn over and kiss him, bury your finger in his hair and pull him close. You heard Sherlock chuckle. ”You didn’t really think I was done with your punishment, did you?” Your eyes flew open. He knew how much you hated to be bound to the bed when he did give you your release. So this was it. This was one of his punishments. And you had thought it had been the riding crop. Stupid you.
”I did mention knowing you would get aroused by the riding crop before. This is your real punishment. You have been a very bad girl and I think your release will be rewarding enough. No need to untie you, maybe now my naughty girl will learn.” He purred and you cursed, but just inside of your head. You knew now that you had crossed a line. Why did you have to tease him so?
”Please, Sherlock, I promise I’ll be good from now on! Just please, untie me!” You pleaded as Sherlock positioned himself behind you. He put his hands on your ass that was now in the air, your legs slightly spread. ”No. You need to become more obedient and if I am to back away from my methods you will never learn. Now, embrace your reward, love. Next time I even might let you lay on your back.” And he thrusted in. You moaned louder than expected, your hands pulling the cuffs. You were sure you would have awful bruises on your wrists by the morning.
Sherlock pulled out slowly, then thrusted back in, his nails digging deep into your flesh as he pounded into you in a way that made you scream from pleasure. He was rough with you, his right hand finding it’s way in your hair and grasping it, pulling your head back as he thrusted. It didn’t take you long to come, and Sherlock came right after you, pulling out and spreading his cum over your holes and running down your thighs. You tried to even your breathing, your head hit the pillows, Sherlock retreating from you and laying next to you, opening the cuffs for you so you could lay down next to him.
Sherlock pulled you to his embrace, hugged you and kissed you. You snuggled close to him, both of you sweaty and still out of breath. Sherlock was first to talk, ”I hope I didn’t hurt you too much.” He whispered. You shook your head. ”No, just the right amount.” You admitted. ”I really didn’t intend to be so ruthless.” Sherlock told you, but he didn’t sound so sincere as he had intended. ”It’s alright, as long as you let me use the crop next time.” You chuckled, your eyes starting to close. Sherlock laughed at that and said, ”Didn’t I tell you that next time, it will be you, once again cuffed to the bed on your back?”
”You were serious?” You asked, your eyes opening. Your boyfriend laughed at your puzzled expression. ”Of course I was serious. Your punishment is far from over.” He explained and kissed the top of your head. ”You fucking sociopath.” You sighed.
They’re in the chilly fluorescent produce section, Neil steering the cart and Andrew catching it whenever he finds chocolate-covered berries or cartons of blended sugary juice to add to the pile. Neil’s got his old jersey conspicuously clashing with their new team’s red sweats, a dark bandana twisted up in his hair. It’s almost closing, and everything feels a bit cool and loose like no one’s really supposed to be awake.
When Neil’s busy bagging carrots Andrew gets his arms folded over the handle of the shopping cart, this stupid black t-shirt all stretched out at the neck, wire-framed glasses perched on his nose, mouth flat. Neil’s sort of fond of Andrew wearing his glasses in public, and he finds himself walking backwards in front of the cart as it’s pushed, openly watching him. Andrew picks the pace up just enough to bump heavily into his shins.
Neil smiles, looping his fingers through his end of the cart so they each have a side, rolling lopsidedly towards the opening of an aisle.
“Stop making things difficult.”
“Let me drive the cart.”
Andrew regards him, fair eyebrows raised. “You’re a control freak.”
Neil laughs, startled. “You let three people total drive your car. You wouldn’t even let Sir or King in our bed for the first three months we had them. You bartered for my secrets when we met, Andrew. ”
“And?” Andrew asks, examining a box of cake mix.
“I don’t think you should be talking about controlling personalities.”
Andrew ignores him, tossing the box in the cart and pushing it back towards Neil. “Go get your diet plan shit.”
Neil makes a face. “It’s our diet plan.”
“I am not willfully drinking skimmed milk.” Andrew crosses to the bags of jumbo marshmallows and Neil pinches the bridge of his nose.
“I’ll put it in your hot chocolate.”
“You’ll die,” Andrew says simply.
Neil jostles the cart into Andrew’s side, and he drops the marshmallows back on the shelf, unimpressed. “Meet me at the front in five. I’m getting actual food to sustain actual people.”
Andrew shrugs and turns to wander out of the aisle, dragging the cart the wrong way behind him.
Neil coughs so he doesn’t laugh, senselessly thrilled. He jogs back towards the meat section, threading through coolers and displays until he finds the turkey bacon and lean chicken breasts that they live on. He’s frowning at an especially lifeless beige cut of fish when he’s wrenched around by the arm.
I was waiting patiently for their arrival, I was early. I never liked being late, I hated the thought of making others wait for me, so I stood there waiting. Half an hour passed and I was still waiting. They’re only five minutes late I thought to myself, maybe coming so early wasn’t the best idea.
I was startled when I felt someone give me a back hug. I was ready to start swinging my arms until I heard familiar voices. The person who was hugging me had let go, and turned me to face them.
“Princess, how are you? It’s been a while.” Jin had his hands on my shoulders staring right at me, I felt a little flustered but I managed to smile.
“I’m good, how have you been?”
“I’ve been good too.” He said and ruffled my hair.
“Y/N.” I saw Joonie have his arms out wide open. I hesitated at first but gave him a hug anyway. This was nice, I missed it.
I pulled away and looked at everyone, I didn’t know how to face Hoseok or Jimin. I didn’t know how they felt about me still and it did make me feel slightly uncomfortable. Neither of them smiled at me, or even greeted me so I take it that they’re still mad. Jimin was my best friend, and it hurt knowing that I’ve lost him because of my stupidity. I understand why they may not like me anymore so I suppose I’ll just have to move on and pretend nothing ever happened.
“Let’s get going!” Yoongi piped up and we headed towards the entrance. I walked behind them still feeling some sort of awkward aura between us all, but Taehyung held back and waited for me.
“Y/N…” He called my name softly whilst walking and not turning to look at me.
“I’m sorry.” He turned to look at me but I shook my head.
“Why are you sorry?”
“Because I betrayed you, I never should have told them to come and I’m sorry because you’ve probably lost all trust and faith in me.” He looked guilty, and I admit that at first I was mad but how could I stay angry at him when he never meant any harm?
“It’s okay Tae, I’m not mad at you. Actually I’m thankful to have you in my life, you didn’t betray me. You only did what you thought was best but I was too stubborn and childish to see that, so for that I’m sorry. You’ve only ever done what you could to help me and I pushed you away.” I admitted.
“No don’t be, how about we just call it even?” He said and stopped, causing me to stop beside him. I nodded and he pulled me into a hug.
“Hurry up!” Joonie complained and we pulled away and rushed towards them again. I was about to walk off when Jin stopped me.
“Are you really okay?” I nodded, reassuring him. But was I really? My best friend hates me, Hoseok doesn’t seem to want to be here, I just wanted to make everyone happy. “So why do you look so conflicted?”
“Does Hoseok and Jimin hate me?” I questioned bluntly.
“What makes you think that?”
“I’m just getting this vibe off of them. But it’s okay if they do, I completely get it, this was all my fault anyway so if they do then I understand.” I was hurt, but I didn’t want to show it. I don’t want to continue being that same old weak Y/N who acts like a child and needs to grab attention from everyone. If they don’t like me anymore then I’m just going to leave it.
I overheard her conversation with Jin hyung. Idiot. I don’t hate you, I’m just embarrassed and too stubborn to admit that I was wrong. Too afraid to apologise for being a shitty best friend. How could I even claim that title after what I had put her through. Knowing her, she believes that all this was her fault, but it wasn’t. We all played a part in hurting her, I was someone she trusted but I took advantage of that, I ruined the friendship we had once I had messaged back in the group chat. I should have never said those things, but I did.
We walked around and had food, I still wasn’t speaking to her. She looked like she was having fun, especially with Taehyung. Did she replace me with him? Not like I can stop her from doing so, but I was jealous. I shoulder barged into Taehyung, who was standing next to Y/N. I continued walking ahead until I heard.
“Oh my gosh, Y/N are you okay? I’m so sorry.” I spun around and saw that Y/N was now on the floor with a scratch on her leg. The force of me walking into him must have caused a domino effect that knocked Y/N over. Now I felt even guiltier, I rushed over to her side as did everyone else.
“Are you okay?” I questioned, she looked at me with tears welling up in her eyes but nodded shyly and looked away.
“Ya, why did you walk into Taehyung like that Jimin?” Hoseok hyung glared at me. “Yeah I saw everything.”
“It’s okay I’m fine don’t worry about it.” She smiled at us and got up.
“Small, lets go get you cleaned up.” Namjoon glared at me whilst walking past holding a limping Y/N by his side.
“What the hell is wrong with you hyung?” Jungkook questioned me. “And you Hoseok hyung, why are they two of you so bitter? Can’t you see how hard Y/N is trying? Can’t you see how much she’s hurting? And I don’t mean physically, but emotionally.
“What did I do?” Hoseok complained.
“Exactly, you didn’t do anything Hoseok. You arrived and hadn’t said a single word to her.” Yoongi confirmed.
“She asked me if you two hated her.” Jin confessed.
“What? No I don’t, I’m just guilty for being so mean so I don’t know how to be around her.”
“She’s trying to push it aside and pretend that nothing happened, she’s trying but the two of you aren’t doing anything to help her and Jimin hyung, why would you knock into Taehyung like that?”
“You’re jealous because we’re close aren’t you?” Taehyung interjected.
“She was my best friend, but now you come along, I don’t even know how to apologise to her and you’re making it more difficult for me.” I said in such a bitter tone, I’m sure everyone realised that I was just jealous.
“You don’t know how much she misses you Jimin, and Hoseok hyung you have no idea how bad she feels for lashing out on you. Just have some decency and apologise for a change and stop making her feel like she’s in hell because the both of you are incapable of saying a simple sorry.”
“She misses me?”
“Isn’t it obvious? She keeps stealing glances at you and after realising you don’t even care enough to look at her face just drops.” Jungkook said whilst rolling his eyes.
It was silent between us all until Y/N came back, smiling.
“Are you okay?” Hoseok hyung asked her, which took her by surprise because her eyes widened.
“Yeah, I’m definitely much better now.” Her smile was so genuine, you could tell that she was sincerely happy that Hoseok acknowledged her.
“I’m sorry Y/N.” I apologised.
“Oh no, it’s not your fault I’m just really clumsy I mean I must take it after my brother, I can’t even stand properly.” Namjoon hyung flicked her on the head.
“Not just that, I’m sorry for everything.” She looked like she wanted to cry, but instead she just wrapped her arms around my neck and hugged me.
“It’s okay, I just want my best friend back.” I nodded and hugged her back.
After a few hours, we parted our ways. Y/N and I headed out to grab dinner whilst everyone else went home. Although we practically spent the whole day together, we barely even spoke because of the guys.
“How have you been small?” I say whilst looking up from the menu.
“Pretty good I guess, how about you?”
“Same, just busy I guess.”
“You don’t have to have dinner with me if you’re busy you know, I mean you’ve already spent the whole day with me and that’s honestly more than enough.” She looked guilty, how and why does she look guilty for asking to spend time with me? Her brother.
“I didn’t mean it like that.”
“Right, I’m sorry.”
“Why do I still feel so distant from you?” I asked her.
“I - I don’t know, I’m sorry.”
I felt like I wanted to cry. I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I don’t know how to act in front of Joonie. I don’t want to do anything that will make him mad at me.
“Why do I still feel so distant from you?” he asked me, that’s something I never wanted to hear, because it’s not what I want and if that’s what he’s saying then it’s my fault he feels this way.
“I - I don’t know, I’m sorry.”
“Will you stop apologising? You’re not doing anything wrong. What happened to you?”
“Nothing happened to me.”
“Then why can’t you be comfortable like you were before? Like the old times? Why have you changed so much? It’s making me feel awkward and uncomfortable.”
“I, I guess I’m afraid of doing something that you don’t like that will aggravate you. I don’t want to do something that you don’t like. I want to be that good younger sister that you loved before, but I didn’t know that it was making you feel uncomfortable.”
“Why does what I like matter so much? What about the things that you like?”
“Last time I did something like that, this huge mess happened. I don’t want that again.” She said so quietly I could barely hear her.
“This is because of me?”
“I’m not blaming you oppa, it was my fault. I should have been more careful, I should have looked out for you more and I shouldn’t have done those things that could damage your career. You’ve worked so hard for it, I can’t be the one to ruin it for you.”
“How do you think that makes me feel? I feel like I’m ruining your life because of what may or may not even happen.”
“You’re not, it’s what I chose to do.”
“You’re my big brother Joonie, I don’t want to let you down. I promised that I won’t let you down but I already broke that promise so I really have to set myself straight. It’s what I’ve always done for you so I’m sorry that I messed up that one time, I won’t let it happen again, I don’t know what came over me because I never got myself into that kind of trouble before but I promise I’ll go back to how it was before.”
“But you’re not happy.”
“If you and the boys are happy, then I’m happy too.” she smiled at me, so genuinely. How was she so selfless? How have I never noticed? All I thought about was myself the past few years that I had no idea she was hurting.
After all this time, I’ve finally come to realise, my image, the scolding. Non of it was worth it. All this time Y/N did everything she could to protect my image like she had promised to. But when she slipped up that one time to be a normal teenage girl, we scolded her, we hurt her. I finally realised how hard it must have been for her to neglect a fun life, where she could do whatever she wanted. She was never able to be herself because she didn’t want it to affect us. She put us before herself and we selfishly put ourselves before her, or more like I put myself before her. Is our image really that important if it made those around us miserable? All this time she was looking out for us, for me. But I never did the same for her.
Y/N crept quietly around the tower. From what she could tell, the invasion her father had been warning her about was happening right now. She had recognized Dr. Selvig, but he seemed off somehow. He hadn’t even seen her. She honestly had no idea what was going on. The only thing she knew was that her dad wanted her out of sight of the fight.
“I could totally help,” she mumbled to herself. “Mr. Stark wants me to tell you he can hear you,” JARVIS spoke to her from her watch. She rolled her eyes. “Well dad, I totally could.”
Y/N craned her neck around the corner. Seeing no one else around, she straightened her posture. She ruffled her hair and walked over to the bar. She reached over the counter for a bottle. As she opened it, Y/N took off her watch.
“Well, this is a surprise.”
Y/N spun around to see Loki. The only reason she had known it was him was because of the video she had seen of Steve fighting him in Germany. She hadn’t expected him to look all too different from that footage. She swallowed, forcing a smile.
“I could say the same thing about you,” she stated, “You’re in my home, after all.” “You live here?” he asked with a cocked eyebrow, “Does my brother have a friend he forgot to mention?” “Do you think your brother stupid enough to say everything?” she countered.
Loki smiled. He slowly made his way closer to Y/N. For some odd and frustrating reason, Y/N didn’t move a single muscle. She didn’t even step back into the bar. There was something about his eyes that held her interest. She just couldn’t pinpoint it.
“My brother is many things,” he whispered, “yours, however, he is not.” She arched a brow. “Oh? And what makes you so sure?” The man smirked, reaching his hand toward her. “He isn’t here, is he?”
Just before he was going to run his fingers through her hair, he stopped. Keeping his gaze, he lowered his hand without it ever having made contact with her. Part of her almost felt a loss without his touch. Y/N could hardly think, and it was driving her crazy.
“Tell me,” he continued to coo, “What is your name?” “Y-Y/N,” she muttered. He gave her a genuine smile. “Quite a lovely name.”
Y/N remained silent. She gulped again as she knit her brows. If she wasn’t mistaken, it appeared he was moving closer to her. He seemed to be slowly entering her space…and she was letting him.
A large explosion from outside managed to bring her back to the present circumstance. It had pulled her so much so that she actually looked out of the large windows. Instinctively, however, her gaze returned to seeking Loki’s.
He was gone.
Just as timely, her father slowed to a stop inside the tower. His face conveyed his worry. He hurried over to her.
“Are you okay? What did he do?” Tony rambled, “Where is he? Are you okay?” Y/N started to nod. “Dad, I’m fine. Do I look hurt?” Tony scanned his daughter. “No…He didn’t touch you with his scepter did he?” She knit her brows. “No. He didn’t touch me at all. How’d you know he was here?” “JARVIS sent the silent stress signal,” he paused, “Come on. I’m getting you out of here.”
Y/N didn’t bother to resist. She knew she wouldn’t be of much help now anyway. There was something about Loki that caused her senses to overload. She tried to focus as her dad led her to a safer place.
“I don’t know what you’re on about, Reginald. I found my soulmate a long time ago.”
“Oh, really?” He smirked at the girl “Who is it? Don’t try to say that it’s Keller because we all know he’s Moose’s soulmate.”
“I don’t need to prove anything to you, Reggie. If you don’t mind, I’ve got a lesson to get to.” (Y/N) forced a smile before walking off.
Almost as if it was instinct he followed her, quick on her heels. “Don’t bullshit me, (L/N). Prove to me that I’m not your soulmate.”
“Reggie, I really don’t want to disappoint you, I’m so sorry that I’m not her.”
“Then prove it to me. Write something, pinch yourself. Whatever, just prove it to me because God knows how long I’ve been looking for my soulmate.”
(Y/N) frowned, looking up at Reggie. He looked down at her, seeing the remorse in her eyes. “I’m so sorry, Reginald, but you’ll find her soon.”
Reggie watched as (Y/N) walked off, feeling more determined to figure out who his soulmate was. He wasn’t going to give up that easy.
There were three moments of weakness that led to (Y/N) almost revealing herself to Reggie. The first was when he wrote to her on his birthday, claiming that his parents had argued and that his birthday wasn’t the same as when he was younger.
‘i know u dont reply but its my birthday :D’
‘my mom and dad argued in front of all my friends, soulmate. it was so embarrassing! i want it to be like my eighth birthday :(’
Looking down at her arm and the pen that she held in it, she fought her urge to reply to his message written on the back of her left forearm. She could feel the sadness that ran through his body. She could feel the pain in his chest as he wrote the words on his arm.
“Mom, he’s hurt” she frowned “He’s not allowed to be sad. It’s his birthday. Mom, it really hurts. I can’t breathe.”
“(Y/N), sweetheart, you’re worried for him. It’s what comes with soulmates.” Her mother paused for a while “You and your soulmate are not only soul-bound but you’re also physically bound to each other. You have a rare bond and never, ever take it for granted because it’ll, one day, be useful to you.”
The second time it happened was during freshman year, when Reggie had sprained his wrist so bad during training that the pain of it had woken (Y/N) up from her nap. She held her wrist as if it was on the brink of snapping off, fighting the tears back. Reggie had written multiple apologies, her arm was practically covered in his messy writing.
‘oh my god! im so sorry, soulmate.’
‘im so so SO sorry!’
’:( i hope i didnt hurt u too much :(’
She felt the pain that rushed up his arm with every apology he wrote. She picked up a pen that lay on top of the books that sat next to her on her bed, clicking it before dropping it and walking towards the bathroom to erase the proof of her soulmate.
The following day, she approached him, with all intentions of wishing him a speedy recovery, in the hallway as he stood leaning against his locker. She noticed and felt that his arm had been wrapped up tightly in a bandage or maybe it was just the pressure of the bandage on her own arm “Twinning?” he raised his eyebrow at her, as he noticed “What did you do?”
“Oh, I-I, kinda, fell down the stairs?”
Reggie let out a small laugh “Is that a question or is that what actually happened?”
“God, I cannot stand you, Reginald. Hope your arm gets better soon. Don’t want number fourteen off the team for too long.”
“Was that a compliment? You know what, I’ll take that as a compliment.” He smirked as she let out a scoff
The final time was on her birthday. No one had remembered it and she was sat in her room wallowing in self pity. There was no writing on her skin, nothing. Not even Reggie could feel the emotion running through her veins. She picked up a pen and pressed it against her skin, ready to write:
‘hi, can we talk???’
but instead she dropped it and crawled into her bed, pushing the space bar on her laptop so it would play her scratched DVD of ‘A Walk to Remember’.
(Y/N) frowned as she sat on the bleachers watching the bulldogs train for their upcoming game. Her eyes were locked on Reggie’s form, watching him as he caught the ball from afar. “God, (Y/N), you’re so two-faced. I love it.” Veronica exclaimed.
“One minute, you’re all ‘Reginald, don’t be so egotistical, I hate you.’ the next you’re drooling over him and can’t even take your eyes off him.” Betty added.
“Oh my God! I’m friends with a group of idiots!” (Y/N) exclaimed. “He’s my soulmate, I’m allowed to drool over him.”
“Who’s your soulmate?” Reggie asked, including himself in the conversation. “I’m pretty sure that’s me. Talk to you tonight, (L/N).” He winked as he made his way back towards the field.
“Don’t count on it, Reginald!” she shouted back, a grin spread across her face.
“God, just fuck already.” Kevin shouted after him.
The tickling sensation grew on her left forearm, meaning only one thing. Reggie was at it again.
‘so, ready to admit that ur my soulmate?’
She rolled her eyes, ignoring the ink on her arm and continued to solve the algebraic question in front of her.
'ur not writing back b'cos u know im right ;)’
Ignoring him once again, she picked up her makeup remover and rubbed the ink off.
Reggie groaned after seeing the ink disappear from his arm. “What if (Y/N) is telling the truth? She’s probably not my soulmate. I mean my soulmate hasn’t written back.”
Moose and Chuck looked at each other before smacking Reggie around the back of his head. “Don’t be such a dick, Mantle. D'ya know how unlikely it would be for your soulmate and (Y/N) to hit their hips at the same time, unless your soulmate is, maybe, I don’t know, (Y/N)?”
The trio sat in silence, for awhile as Reggie took in the words of his friends, until Chuck broke the silence with the words “Dude, she literally calls you Reginald.”
“And?” Reggie said, confusion laced in his voice.
“You’d punch me if I even attempted to call you Reginald.” Chuck frowned.
“I’d punch you because you’re a dick.”
The following day, (Y/N) tried her hardest to avoid Reggie, but with their clashing schedules it was practically impossible. She sighed as she once again caught him looking in her direction, a smile tugging at the corner of his lips. “Need something, Reginald?”
He shook his head and turned back to face the front, before turning back to face her again “Actually, yes, I do need something from you, (L/N). I need you to prove to me that you’re not my soulmate.”
Just before she could reply the bell had rang, signalling that it was the end of the school day. “I’ll see you later, (Y/N).” Reggie shouted after her.
She sat at her desk, tapping her pen against it, as she, yet again, procrastinated her biology questions. Her phone vibrated, signalling an incoming call from Kevin. As soon as she answered, she was met with her best friend screaming down the phone. “I’m on my way over to pick you up! We’re going to Moose’s party.”
He picked up a grape before throwing it in the air and attempting to catch it in his mouth, failing as his eyes locked with Archie, who was stood next to (Y/N), his arm around her shoulder. Reggie pushed himself from the couch and strode his way over to (Y/N) and her red-haired friend.
“Hey, Andrews. Mind if I borrow (Y/N) for a second?”
“Sure, dude. Just don’t do anything stupid!”
Reggie took (Y/N)’s hand in his, pulling his hand away from hers when he felt a spark at the skin to skin contact. He looked at (Y/N), instantly apologising. Her mind flickering over to the time he sprained his wrist and covered her arm in ink-stained apologies.
“What do you want, Reginald?” she said, sending a genuine smile at him for the first time in weeks. Reggie positioned himself in front of her so he could face her. He noted down everything about (Y/N). The way her eyes shone almost as if they were a spotlight and the way she would crinkle her nose every time she let out a laugh.
She looked into his eyes and nodded. She didn’t need to know what he wanted to ask, she already knew.
“I want,” He paused, inching closer to her “you to,” He was so close to her, she could feel his breath on her cheek “prove it.” By now, there was no distance between them, everything around them seemed to disappear. The smell of alcohol and cologne on him intoxicated her, if she were to pull away now, she would’ve craved the scent. If she pulled away now, she would’ve craved him. Using his right arm he tilted her head up, their lips meeting. She was taken by surprise at the softness and warmth of his lips, she had expected it to be horrendous, something that she would forget in later life; how could she when everything he did was near-perfection? As they pulled away, they stood, their foreheads leaning against each other, eyes still closed.
(Y/N) smiled at the boy in front of her. She looked over at the coffee table, picking up the pen that lay underneath the pile of red solo cups, writing on her arm:
(Okay, I know this is long; I know. But seriously I can’t help the fact that I want to fill entire books with how adorably cute those two are! <3 So grab your snacks and drinks and dive in hahaha! Also I’m sorry if there are any typos, it’s really late and I’m way tired to notice my mistakes. I hope you all like it guys!!!)
Two days had passed since the night Betty Cooper had
stormed inside the Blue & Gold office like a wild force of nature, catching
Jughead on the act as well as learning about his secret of not having a place
of his own anymore, and coexisting under the same roof was going smoothly for
the two friends. Every morning they would wake up way earlier than most people
in their town, and especially than Betty’s parents, and Jughead, although not
being a morning person, would sneak out with a grateful smile plastered on his
lips and hands full with every new snack Betty seemed to always prepare for him,
and every night she would sneak him back in once she knew her parents were
retired to their bedroom for the night. Their system seemed to be flawless.
Today was a low-key Wednesday night and the first time
they had the house entirely to themselves, since the Coopers had yet another
late night at the newspaper, the two teens finally enjoying some peace and
quiet without closed doors and hush whispers. Betty was sprawled over the bed,
text books and colorful markers all around her as the blonde girl was trying to
finish her homework, elbow holding herself up and chin resting on her palm,
head aching over an answer sheet and calves crossing and uncrossing behind her.
Jughead was over the window with blinds shut – he had made Betty promise that
his secret would stay between them – sitting comfortably on her white desk
chair and having his long legs crossed at the ankles, outstretched against the
wooden window frame, while typing furiously on his laptop that rested on his
lap. Since no one was at home he didn’t have to lurk at his usual booth at
Pop’s. Plus, he found Betty’s presence a very good remedy for writer’s block.
The Girl from Around the Block-Lip Gallagher Imagine
Warnings: some sensuality and language (Shameless imagine, don’t be surprised)
Lip didn’t have many strictly platonic friendships with other girls. In fact, he never considered he was capable of having a relationship with a female that didn’t involve them screwing into oblivion. But Y/N Y/L/N was different. For one thing, they’ve known each other since they were two years old, when Fiona and Hailey, Y/N’s older sister, arranged a play date for the two of them. They bonded over a love of Legos and had been friends ever since. He helped her with homework and she helped him get out of trouble when trying to persuade him from getting into it failed. He taught her how to smoke and she taught him how to play the piano. They were perfect for each other but neither of them would admit it.
“Come on, Lip, you’re telling me that you’ve never thought of asking Y/N out?” Ian asked.
They were smoking on their porch in the hot Chicago summer. Ian had the day off from work and Lip was still thinking up his latest scheme to make money fast.
“Y/N’s like a sister to me, you know. You don’t f—k your sister,” Lip said. “We aren’t royalty or anything.”
Ian laughed. “Well, I’m pretty sure Y/N’s thought of f—cking you, you can see it in her eyes.”
“Shut up.” Lip smacked Ian in the chest, making the ginger laugh.
“Oh, that hurt so bad. Can’t you hit harder, pussy?”
And that led to them wrestling jokingly, making Debbie roll her eyes inside and Carl begin cheering them on. Once they stopped (ie: when Ian pinned Lip down in their front yard), Lip sighed.
“For the record, I let you win.”
“Yeah, whatever.” Ian’s smile disappeared and he looked serious. “So, you’d really never consider getting with Y/N?”
Lip rolled his eyes and shoved Ian off of him. “If you’re so into her, why don’t you date her?” “Because I’m gay.”
“Oh yeah, use that excuse.” Lip took another long drag of his cigarette as he stood. “Look, Y/N’s a cool girl and stuff but I can’t see us being serious. I mean, we used to take baths together and I had the pleasure of being the only person with her when she first got her period. There’s too much history.”
As the words left his mouth, Lip knew he was lying to himself. He knew that he was madly in love with his best friend who somehow managed to be sweet but scrappy when it came to defending herself or any of the Gallaghers. Plus, there was the way she threw her head back when she laughed really hard, making her gorgeous y/h/c locks flow around her. Then, there was the way she’d scrunch up her nose whenever she was confused about a homework question. Plus, she was the one who first confronted him about Karen, telling him that he shouldn’t take her kind of bullsh-t anymore. Also, her y/e/c eyes would light up whenever she was staring out at Lake Michigan and she would jump whenever someone/something freaked her out.
Ian glanced behind Lip. “Too much history, huh?”
“Then you wouldn’t be too upset at the view behind you right now.”
Lip turned around and what he saw nearly made him drop his cigarette. Across the street, standing on the corner, was none other than Y/N smiling widely as she kissed Will Brooks.
“What’s she doing with him?” Lip asked.
“Well, Lip, it appears as though they’re making out. It probably has to do with the fact that she’s had a crush on him since second semester,” Ian said.
“How the f–k do you know all that?”
“Because I’m the gay friend she tells all this to,” Ian said. “And I can’t blame her. Will is the star of the basketball team, has muscles for days, and is the literal definition of tall, dark, and handsome.”
“He’s an idiot. He thought that a square should count as a rhombus in geometry,” Lip muttered.
“Someone sounds jealous,” Ian sang.
“Shut up,” he hissed.
But the green monster was making his blood boil as he watched Y/N laugh at something Will said before hitting his arm playfully. Her smile was beautiful and genuine, if only she was smiling that way for Lip. She kissed Will one last time before circling around him and heading down the street. However, Will didn’t let her get by before swatting her butt and making her jump. Lip could’ve strangled him right then and there.
“Lip, Ian, you are not going to believe what just happened!” Y/N said when she got up to them.
“You got syphilis from that idiot?” Lip asked.
Y/N frowned. “No, but Will did just take me out.”
“Where?” Ian smiled widely and crossed his arms just to spite Lip.
“He took me to lunch and then we walked along Navy Pier, just talking. Your advice worked, Ian!” Y/N squealed as she hugged him.
“Wait, you gave her advice on this?” Lip asked.
“It’s what the gay best friend does,” Ian said.
Y/N turned to Lip and frowned. “Why are you getting so upset about this?”
“Because you didn’t tell me about it.”
“I didn’t think you’d care if I went out with Will. It’s nothing serious.”
“But it might be. The Bulls are looking at Will to draft him. I hear he’s going to be Chicago’s Kobe Bryant.”
“This is the Bulls were talking about, Ian,” Lip said. “Besides, Will get a new girl every week, you should probably just forget about him.”
“For your information, Mr. Negative, we’re actually going out again tomorrow night. He got us Bulls tickets!” “Nosebleeds?” Lip asked.
“Nope, near the floor, center court!” Y/N grinned. “I can’t believe this is happening. I never thought that Will would ever notice me.”
“How could he not? You’re gorgeous,” Ian said.
“Just be careful, okay. I don’t like the guy.”
“You don’t like many guys, Lip. Besides, you should be happy for me. Who knows? Maybe one day I’ll get you court-side seats to see the Bulls.”
“No thanks, I’m good.” Lip threw his cigarette down and snuffed it out with his boot. “I’m gonna go take care of some business.”
“What business?” Y/N asked as she began following him down the sidewalk.
“My usual business with Kev,” Lip said.
Y/N’s eyes widened. “Lip, you can’t do that. You’re already high up on the cop’s radar, right behind Carl.”
“I’ve been doing this since we were fourteen, Y/N, I know what I’m doing.”
“But you getting arrested could f—k up your chances with MIT or U of Chicago or any other fancy school,” Y/N argued.
“Hey, why don’t you worry about what dress you’re gonna wear to see Will again and I’ll worry about my future, alright?” Lip snapped.
Y/N flinched at his words. They had had arguments before, but he never got this mean with her. “What’s your problem, Lip? Are you on the rag?”
“No, just leave me alone.”
“Fine, come around the block when you decide to stop being such a jackass,” Y/N said.
Though her words were sharp, she sounded hurt and it hurt Lip that he had hurt his best friend. As much as he wanted to admit why he was really angry with Y/N, he was too prideful and scared of her reaction to say anything.
For two weeks, Y/N didn’t come by to see the Gallaghers nor did Lip try to go up around the block to see her. Fiona, Ian, Debbie, Carl, Kev, and V did their best not to mention her name whenever Lip was around. But ever since their fight, Lip had begun drinking and smoking more. He was miserable. However, everything came to a head when Fiona confronted him one day.
“Alright, Lip, go talk to her,” Fiona said.
Lip was sitting in the kitchen, drinking coffee while Fiona and Debbie were making breakfast.
“You heard her, we’re sick of seeing you moping around all the time and drunk you is only so entertaining,” Debbie said.
“I don’t want to talk to her. Besides, the only person she’s interested in talking to is Will.” Lip spat out the boy’s name.
“That’s not true,” Ian said as he walked into the kitchen with Liam in his arms, “she talks to me all the time.”
“If I want to talk to her, I’ll talk to her, alright? Can we stop f—king talking about her?” Lip snapped.
Fiona set a plate of eggs and bacon in front of Lip and bent down to his level. “Lip, I know you’ve been in love with Y/N pretty much since the day you met and it must be killing you that you fought and that she’s with Will—”
“Will Brooks? He’s a babe,” Debbie said.
Fiona, Ian, and Lip collectively shot her a look that made her instantly regret her words.
Fiona sighed. “But you need to man up and talk to her. I know this is gonna be hard comin’ from me but I know love when I see it.”
Lip groaned. “She’s not gonna forgive me.”
“She will, we’ve all had to,” Ian said.
Lip playfully shoved him before taking a long swig of coffee. “I’ll be right back.”
“That’s my boy,” V said as she entered the kitchen from the rear entrance.
“Did you hear all of that?” Ian asked.
“For the most part. Please go talk to that girl, I’m sick of seeing you look more pissed off than usual.”
Lip laughed. “I will, see ya, V.”
As he left the house, Lip began going over everything he could possibly say to make everything up to Y/N.
“Hey, Y/N, I’m sorry for being a dick and getting pissed about you and Will. I’m sure the NBA accepts idiots too—no, can’t say that, she’ll get pissed that I insulted him. Y/N, I’m sorry for being a dick and I’m really happy for you and Will. Maybe the Bulls will start winning if he joins. Yeah, that’s better.” Lip paused. “Y/N, you probably hate me, but we have to talk…”
“I thought that only crazy people talked to themselves,” Mandy said as she strolled up to Lip.
“Oh, hey, Mandy,” he said.
She was wearing a tight black tank top and short denim cut offs. They had a short-lived fling but decided that they were better off as friends. Besides Ian and Lip, Mandy was Y/N’s closest friend.
“I’m guessing that you’re off to talk to Y/N,” Mandy said.
“Yeah, I said some real sh-tty stuff to her and she didn’t deserve it.”
“She never does,” Mandy said. “It’s just too bad about her and Will.”
Lip frowned. “What happened?”
“You didn’t hear? She found out that he’s been cheating on her ever since they got together. I offered to have my brothers beat him up for her, but she said it wasn’t worth it. I haven’t seen her around in a long time.”
“Yeah, so whatever you have to say to her, don’t f-ck up.”
As Lip walked away from Mandy, he was both elated and furious. He could beat Will’s face in for what he did to Y/N but at the same time, he was ecstatic that she was single again. Now he really had to perfect what he was gonna say.
“Y/N, I’m sorry about what happened between us. You didn’t deserve it and I was just being a dick. I’m also sorry about what happened between you and Will. He deserves to get the sh-t beat out of him.” Lip sighed. “And…and I got so mad about the whole Will thing because, you’re like a sister to me and I didn’t want to lose my sister or my friend…the friend I’ve been in love with since we were two.”
At this point, Lip was standing in front of the Y/L/N’s house. Mr. Y/L/N was most likely back at work in the loan office and Mrs. Y/L/N was off being a maid in the W Hotel. Whether or not Hailey was home was a bit of a toss up since she would skip class more than Lip did. The navy, two-story house seemed a lot bigger than it usually did and part of Lip wanted to turn around and run away.
“Don’t be a pussy,” he muttered.
He walked up the front steps and knocked on the door.
Seconds later, a dog was barking and Hailey was yelling at it.
“Geez!” she blew a piece of dark hair out of her eyes and narrowed them once she saw Lip. “Lip.”
The barking Rottweiler stopped when he saw Lip and began licking all over his face.
“Hi, Buster,” Lip said as he scratched the dog. “I’ve missed you.”
“Well, he’s missed you too, I don’t know if I can say the same for Y/N,” Hailey said.
Lip sighed as he straightened up. “Look, I know I f-cked up majorly with Y/N and I’m sorry. I just want to apologize and if she doesn’t want to be friends with me anymore, that’s fine, I’ll understand. Is she okay?”
Hailey’s e/c eyes softened slightly at Lip’s words but she kept a tense body language. “She’d be better off if that idiot hadn’t cheated on her weeks after she lost her best friend. But she’ll get through it, she’s tough.”
“I know, is she here?”
Hailey pursed her lips. “That Will guy might’ve hurt her but you really broke her heart, you know that, Gallagher?”
“I could kill you for how much you made her cry and then Will on top of that—” Hailey breathed.
“And I’ll do my best to never make her cry again. Believe me, the last thing I want is to hurt her.”
Lip hoped his sincerity showed through since Hailey was one of the most stubborn people when it came to protecting her family and doing what she thought was right.
“She went to the Symphony. They let her listen to the music from the entry way as long as she doesn’t disturb anyone.”
“Thanks, Hailey, I really appreciate it.”
The L couldn’t have operated any slower that day, which made Lip even more anxious. He began chain smoking, hoping it would help him think more, but it didn’t. It calmed him down a little, but he still had no idea what he was going to say to her. Fortunately, downtown wasn’t very crowded and it was easy for him to find his way to the Symphony. Sure enough, Y/N was sitting near one of the door, cross-legged, listening intently to the passionate music. She looked gorgeous though she was wearing a simple white summer dress that went off the shoulders. Her hair was twisted up into a pretty bun on top of her head and her back was facing Lip.
He carefully walked up to her, his mind racing with words.
“Mind if I join you?” Y/N gestured for him to sit without turning away from the door. Her eyes were puffy and he could tell that she had been crying.
“Oh, right, sorry.” Lip managed to say quiet for five more seconds before saying, “no, you know what, f-ck the music, you can get this sh–t on YouTube or iTunes. We need to talk.”
“Keep your voice down or we’ll get kicked out,” Y/N said quietly.
“Fine, but at least look at me when I talk?” Y/N hesitated before turning to Lip. “Talk.”
Lip paused. Everything he had rehearsed seem to leave his mind. “You’re beautiful.”
Y/N rolled her eyes. “Go away, Lip.”
“No, I’m serious. Even though that a—hole made you cry and did all that to you, you’re the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen. Always have been.”
There was a long pause between them but Y/N looked stunned.
“Is that all you have to say to me?”
“No, I’m sorry about what happened between us. I shouldn’t have gotten so pissed off about you and that jerk.”
“You were a real jackass,” Y/N muttered.
“I know, and you didn’t deserve that. And I’m sorry about what happened—-no, you know what, f-ck that, I’m not sorry. He didn’t deserve to be with you because you are amazing and sweet and talented and tough and strong. He doesn’t deserve to breathe the same air as you and neither do I.”
Y/N looked stunned but suddenly looked dejected. “If I’m all those things, why did he cheat on me with Ashley Opperman, Jane Henkins, Mariah Little, Penny Gilbert, Vanessa Langley, and Iman Ashton?”
“Because he’s an idiot who’s probably trying to get the clap if he got anywhere near Vanessa Langley,” Lip said.
Y/N smiled. “I think she’s had ever STD under the sun besides AIDs.”
Lip smiled. “I’m so sorry about everything that happened between us, Y/N. Is there any way you could forgive me?” Y/N jokingly tapped her finger against her chin. “If you teach me how make things explode using that fancy technical vocabulary, maybe.”
“And you help me pass my ACT.”
“And you come to my piano concerts.”
“I already do.”
“Then you’ll have to play something less boring.”
They jokingly shook hands before Y/N wrapped her arms around Lip and basically fell into his lap. He immediately pulled her close, inhaling her sweet scent.
“I’ve missed this,” she whispered.
“I love you.”
They both froze. Lip couldn’t have said that any less smoothly if he tried. He couldn’t believe that he had blurted it out like that.
Y/N pulled away slowly and looked at him with wide eyes. “Lip?”
“I’ve loved you since we first met and I fell in love with you around the same time, I think. It drove me crazy seeing you with Will and I’m sorry I was so mean to you. If you don’t feel the same way then—”
Lip was cut off as Y/N pressed her lips against his. He immediately pulled her closer as he kissed back. All those emotions they had for the past sixteen years came out in that exchange. They were so caught up they not only forgot where they were but also that they would need to pull away for air.
“Eh hem.” An elderly security guard looked at them with distaste.
“What’s your problem?” Lip asked.
“Sorry, Ivan, we’ll be leaving now.”
“No, that’s fine, Y/N, just try to ease up on all of that.” Ivan gestured to their current position.
“You got it, Ivan.”
He wandered away and Lip pulled Y/N into him again.
“So, I’m guessing you like me too?”
“No, I love you, I thought as smart as you are, you would’ve caught onto that when we were at least four,” Y/N teased.
“Well, I’m smart enough to never let you go again.”
And that was how after many years, Lip Gallagher ended up with the girl from around the block.
“Ned, do you think Peter will like this blouse and skirt together or should I pair this shirt with this ripped jeans?”
(Y/N) had liked Peter Parker for years, but the only downside to it was that she has always been Peter and Ned’s best friend. They’ve been the dynamic trio since the 3rd grade, but he has only seen her as a sister.
“(Y/N) you don’t have to try so hard for Peter; he’s been your best friend since elementary school. He’s seen it all, just continue to be yourself and he’ll come around.”
Winchester is a man who’s been to war and back, a man that’s lost loved ones
and has seen too much to believe in love or fate or destiny. But when he meets
a girl that radiates kindness and warmth, one that’s ready to love his shadowy corners and accept him for the man he really is, he begins to
change his mind. And, when she shows him the darkness in her light, he promises
himself that, no matter how hard things get, he’ll never let go of her.
Because, he realizes, he loves her. And
that is the beginning and end of everything.

Word count: 7026 (I know, I know it’s a monster fic, but I promise, it’s worth it)
Warnings: Fluff. Angst. Some language. Implied smut. Death of a parent. Loss. Mentions of blood and of the warzone (nothing too graphic). Bad marital relationship (not Dean associated). Domestic Dean Bean (yup, this should be a warning)
Author’s Notes: This is my submission for @jpadjackles Double Birthday Challenge. My sweet B, thank you for letting me participate. I had the time of my life writing this and I can promise you, it ended up being a fic very close to my heart.
Special thank you to my twin @ravengirl94 for answering my stupid questions about the US Army, and being such an amazing best friend and beta. Without her, this story would have never been posted.
My prompt for this was Falling In Love At A Coffee Shop by Landon Pigg.(I am not American so every detail about the US Army in this fic is the result of research. If there’s a mistake in it, I apologize in advance.)
And, without further ado. Enjoy <3
The first time
Dean sees her it’s on his mother’s birthday.
It’s a sunny
day, sky a soft shade of blue, summer slowly creeping its way into his life
and, even though he’s not sure of a lot of things, he somehow knows she would have loved this day.
He can almost
see her, standing in the middle of their garden, sundress blowing with the
wind, a smile gracing her lips while he’s whining because there’s no pie, and
it’s all so tangible, so real, that
he thinks he can reach out and touch her.
Her image disappears
as soon as it’d appeared though, and he’s back in the middle of a crowded
street, on his way home from training, all alone, with no plans for the day and
no mum to celebrate with because his
mother’s gone and nothing can bring her back.
The thought pulls
at his heartstrings and he can feel it again, that sickening sensation of
missing someone so much that all of his body cells are aching for her and he curses under his breath, already loathing the
And then she catches his eye.
sitting there, at the bay window of the old coffee shop that always seems to
have some jazz melody pouring out of it, nose buried in a book.
he can tell that much, but what really stuns him is the way she’s holding the
dog-eared book, fingers grazing the paper gently like it’s soft skin, eyes
skimming the pages as she bits her bottom lip, a wrinkle in her brow. It’s been
a while since Dean has seen someone so engrossed into something and he loses
track of time, forgets that he’s burning holes on her until she looks up and
her eyes meet his through the window.
It’s been two weeks. Two weeks since we found out about Y/N’s overdose that lead her to being in a coma. The past two weeks have been hell, we would take it in turns - visiting her and staying by her side, and right now it was my turn again.
I had so many regrets, more than I could ever say out loud. I shouldn’t have said those things. I should have filtered my own thoughts before hitting that send button. I should have never joked around about something so serious. We should have known. Y/N’s condition was never the best, there were so many things she would say that she hated about herself. Even to me, at first; I thought she was only saying things like that because she was trying to pry for attention. But I was so wrong. I should have noticed all the signs, the signs of her screaming out for help. But I did nothing. I did nothing.
I heard the room door slide open and all the members had arrived, some bearing food, the others bearing flowers and other gifts. Not like Y/N could even see the flowers, or the teddy bears or eat the chocolates right now… But I had faith. I had faith that she was going to wake up eventually.
Seeing her lie there pains my heart. I couldn’t eat, I couldn’t sleep. I felt like complete shit. This was partly my fault and if anything were to happen to her. I don’t know how I would live with myself. All of our schedules have been postponed and I was glad that they were, I don’t think I could even fake a smile right now. I was dying inside. I just wanted Y/N to wake up.
Please Y/N, stop sleeping… wake up.
We all looked drained, every single one of us had dark bags underneath our eyes. Some of us even had red and puffy eyes from crying. Ever since this incident had happened, we spoke so little to one another, our communication was cut because we all knew we were at fault. We didn’t want to talk because no one knew what to say. We had no excuses for out actions. We knew that we were all partly to blame for all of this and we were guilty. Every single one of us were guilty, and the guilt will continue to linger.
I missed hearing her laugh. I miss seeing her smile. But after all of this, it made me wonder. Were any of those laughs or smiles ever genuine? She was suffering and she hid it so well, it could have been possible for her to hide it away from us. But still that was no excuse. No excuse for the way that we behaved, no excuse for the shit that we dragged her through, because now look where she is. Lying so lifelessly on the hospital bed. I hated thinking that way but it was true and it’s about time that we admitted it to ourselves because we should feel guilty.
If only we gave her a chance to talk to us. If only we allowed her to share her troubles with us without doubting everything, if we did all those things then would she still be here like the way that she is? I don’t know, I had no idea what the answer was. Maybe we could have consulted her, maybe we could have stopped this. But we didn’t, we didn’t because we were selfish. We took it too far and pushed her over the edge, and now what do we do? What can we do?
How? How could we have possibly said such things? Oh, that’s because we’re useless assholes that didn’t know any better, we should have helped her. But we didn’t we neglected the idea that she was in need of our help and when we realised that we had fucked it all up. It was already too late. I was thankful that she was still alive, although barely. I hated coming here to see her, I wanted to see her at her place so we could play video games again. But when will that ever become possible again? When will it be possible when she’s lying here and it’s because of us that she is?
I heard the monitor beep in the background like it has done for the last couple of weeks, monitoring Y/N’s heartbeat. But this time the beeping was different, it was louder, more unstable. I looked across the room and saw Y/N’s once relaxed body now jolting I didn’t know what to do, Yoongi who was sat next to her slammed his fist onto the emergency button and Jungkook sprinted out of the room, calling for help during the process. I stood there, not having a clue how to process anything, Y/N’s seizure came to and end and long beep sounded through the room, the sound of a flatline. The doctors ran in alongside with a few nurses, they shoved us away from the bed area and began to shock her. One time, nothing. Second time, nothing. Third time, still nothing. No matter how many times they tried, it made no difference to her heartbeat. They couldn’t bring her back.
“Miss Y/L/N has passed, Dr. could you please pronounce her.”
“Miss Y/N Y/L/N passed, July 7th 2017 at 00:45am” They covered her entirety with the white sheet. I could no longer see her face. I will never get to see her face again and my whole world completely fell apart, the members sobbed and I knew I was doing so too. Rapmon had the back of his wrist held up to his mouth, as tears fell from his eyes. Yoongi, was shocked and had no clue what to process. Hoseok now on his knees with his head on the ground crying so loudly. Jimin, held onto Jungkook and cried with him. Taehyung’s forehead rested against the wall, his left fist punching into the wall. And I? I collapsed to the ground and wept.
This was our doing. We drove her to this, we drove her to her end and now we’ll have to live with the guilt because we… we were the ones who killed our friend.

Summary: A text message sent to the wrong number turns into a long lasting affair between two people completely opposite one another.
Note: This is an old thing and actually the first thing I wrote after the accident, and I decided to post it again because I kind of hold it close to my heart ? It’s not all going to be texts between the characters, but quite a lot of backstory and stuff the more we get into it. It’ll be told from both Y/N’s POV and Jungkook’s. Please enjoy! :)
The first time you receive one it’s in the middle of the night.
At first you simply stir in your sleep, turning around as if that will somehow stop the annoying buzzing resounding from under your pillow. When it doesn’t, you grab the cursed device and flip it over in your hands, wondering whom of your stupid friends decided to be an excruciating pain in the ass this late.
-He wakes up as he had been washed up on shore, with no recollection of how he got there.
-This is a strange place, some sort of beach, with a forest behind it. The sun is barely up. Dawn.
-He begins to walk and walk. Minutes seem longer here, and he walks for what feels like hours along the shore. Never actually stepping into the forest.
-Glimpses of a woman crying cross his mind. But he can’t make any sense of it.
-A feel of uneasiness starts to crept up on him as dusk is approaching. He senses that soon he must part with the shore and enter the forest, other wise he will end up walking through the same landscape for ever, never reaching something new.
-Dusk. He looks at the see one last time, trying to see what might be beyond the horizon. Sea or forest. It can’t be both.
-The waves are starting to crash and the sea becomes more violent. While the forest just grows calmer.
-He tried again but the horizon is the same. Perhaps if he saw something he could make up his mind. Perhaps if he saw something he would face the waves and dive into the now restless water.
- Until he hears it: “Brother?” Then a pause “Rhys is that you? ” asks the same voice. The voice he thought he’d never hear again. He turns around to see her. And there she is, just as beautiful as he remembered her… with her wings, she has her wings.
- He can’t move.. he can’t think straight.
- “I can’t believe you’re here… come brother” she says as she extends her arm
- She takes one step, just one to the edge of the forest. And while she’s doing that another figure comes into view. His mum also looks just as she was, wild and untamed, glorious and magnificent. Her wings are also where they should have always been.
- Her voice cracks as she says “It’s too soon my love, too soon for you to be here”.
- Rhys can’t believe it, one foot after another he makes his way towards them. Just once, he wants to hold them just once.
- He walks right up until the edge of the forest and stops.
- All it would take would be one more step, one more step to leave for his feet to be completely on the sand. But somehow this last step is the hardest to make.
- He turned around to see the horizon one last time.. but still, nothing. On the other direction though, his mother and sister where there.
- His decision lies in front of him.
- “I am so happy to see you brother” she says while a genuine smile runs across her face.
- His mother remains quiet.
- And only breaks her silence to tell him that she thought it would be longer until they saw each other again with a sad smile
- He smiles at both of them and says “I’m ho-"
- But before he can actually take that last step and finish what he was saying, he senses her.. that female he had only seen in a few glimpses through the day. He doesn’t see her, but he feels her deep in his heart.
- Just one thought, just one name. Feyre.
- His mother senses the change and says again "It is too soon my love, just too soon”.
- He tries to argue but he feels it again, the female, the sadness, the emptiness…
- The sea moves as if it were angry, impatience.
- And in the midst of the overwhelming crash of the waves and the sadness he is now feeling, home. There it is. Clear as the images of his mother and his sister. Home.
- He turns to look at the see. The horizon is still the same, but now the crashing waves feel like home.
- Hid mother sees the realisation come to him, and just says “we never left you, we are part of your home and always will be, but your true home is not with us. Not right now my love”.
- The tide increases and now the sea is barely centimetres from his bare feet.
- Tearing his eyes from the horizon he looks at them one last time. His sister, no logger stretching her arm towards him, simply say “go back Rhys, you deserve to be happy”. He looks at her as if it was the first time, he looks at her like he did when they first placed her in his arms when she was a few minutes old. He looks at her knowing he won’t be able to look at her again for a long long long time.
- His mum, his mum stretches her arm out of the forest, making the wind blow stronger and the waves crash harder. He can see it pains her and moving her arm closer to him is requiring a lot of strength, even though it seems as normal as it ever did, but finally she cups his face with her hand and says “You, my love, more than anyone deserves to be at peace. Be at peace my love, be at peace with her. Go back home. When the true time comes, I’ll be here again”.
- He takes her hand in his and kisses it. Each movement, even though they seem as swift as ever takes a toll on him.
- His sister looks at him and with all the power he knew she always had in her grabs his free hand with both of her hands.
- It could be so easy. One step and all of them could stop being in pain. Just one step. But, with all his strength he takes both their hands in his and gently puts a kiss on each one.
- He looks at them one last time and says “I love you”.
- He turns around and after a few steps his feet feel the water, he keeps on walking, fighting the waves, and finally dives in.
Summary : You’re Diana Prince’s, aka Wonder Woman, little sister…And you’ve always been the rebel amongst the amazons, the black sheep. You left long ago, and got hitch with the famous Bruce Wayne, when a problem brings you back to your home island of Themyscira.
It’s always the same question. Over and over again. Yeah ok, true, you weren’t the calmest kid and your curiosity often lead to a lot of troubles but…Diana was kinda the same and no one ever told her to “behave”.
Even now, as you were a grown ass woman, it was this good old question, that you just couldn’t stand anymore. It was moments like this, that made you glad you left all those years ago.
Being Diana little sister wasn’t easy. It wasn’t easy at all. When you were born, much in the same way than her, molded in clay and brought to life by Zeus, your big sister was already a hero.
She was already adulated by all on Themyscira island. Everyone always told you : “You see Diana ? Be like Diana”…And in a sense, you became a bit like her.
Only, when the other amazons told you to take Diana as an example, they were talking about how well she fought, about her principles and other things like that ! Not her…stubbornness and strong will.
Ultimately, being strong willed was a good thing but…Well, the only thing you took after your sister is the way she has, sometimes, that “I do whatever I want” kind of persona. But maybe a bit to much to the extreme.
Because as a child, Diana listened to your mother, your aunt (that you unfortunately never met but heard a lot about), and other amazons while you ? You, you had trouble with authorities.
You couldn’t stand people ordering you around. You hated when someone said you couldn’t do something…But the worst was that their explanation as to why you had to do things they said were stupid.
“Do as I said because I’m an adult and I know better”, who decided of that ? “Don’t do that, we’ll explain to you later why you can’t do it”, that was so dumb ! Instead of explaining to you why you couldn’t do things, they’d just expect you to follow their order and…well, that wasn’t your nature.
Besides, it was almost unbearable to always be compared to Diana. To always hear that she was better than you because of this, or because of that…Fortunately, you didn’t grew to resent her, but you did start to resent your entire people.
None of them understood you. Not even your mother.

She smiles, genuinely, heart lifting. She lifts them into her arms for a hug and laughs. “I love you, too.”
He stares in utter shock, then chokes back a sob and smiles. “I love you, too.”
His heart. It has melted. He hoists them up, and they giggle and squeal as he kisses their cheek. “Love you, too, Imekari– little kadan.”
“Aaaaaawwwwwww!” She squeals. “You’re just the cutest–” She picks them up and pelts them with kisses. “I love you, too, little boo!”
“Love you, too, kid!” He hoists them into his lap with a grin and starts impromptu story time, as he does several times a day with them.
He gasps in delight. “Heart, so bright and cheery, nothing but joy, safety, love, I love you, too!” he says excitedly.
She’s actually taken aback, for once. After staring for a moment, she runs a hand through their hair and smiles genuinely. “You’re just the sweetest, cutest, most precious thing. Do you know that?”
He’s shocked silent, and chooses not to say anything for a moment while he tries to make sense of the situation and what to say. Finally, he settles for a soft smile and running a hand over their head. “Ma serannas, da’len. You are too kind…”
He beams and lifts them into the air, swinging around as they squeal in delight. Finally, he presses a kiss to their cheek and laughs. “I love you, too, little amatus.”
She lets out a squeal and kisses their head as she picks them up, cuddling them. “Oh, you are so sweet! I love you, too, mi pequeño amore!”
She grins slyly and picks them up, bouncing them in her arms. “I love you, too.” she agrees. “For being so sweet, would you like a story or a song?”
“I… I…” He’s speechless, eyes wide with shock. Finally, he smiles, soft and sweet. “I love you, too.”
A/N: This is my first reader insert. This is also the first smut that I’ve done on here so bear with me. I also feel like the story line was all over the place, so I apologize in advance. Also, I apologize for any spelling and/or grammar mistakes as I’ve procrastinated really hard on this, starting this in like early April and not finishing it until 1:30 in the morning today, and I am way too tired to proof read.
How do you deal with having a crush on the hottest girl in the office? Be a complete asshole and ignore her all the time, of course.
Admittedly not my best decision, but it’s kept me from fucking her in front our co-workers, so that’s something, right? And I can’t help it. It’s not my fault that she could literally be wearing a paper bag and I’d still get a hard on. The way her jeans hug her curves and the shirts that make her look sophisticated, yet sexy at the same time. Or when she wears these cute little sun-dresses and sandals that make her legs look amazing. It can make any man fall to his knees. And to make matters worse, I was her supervisor.
It was odd, really. He pretended that you meant nothing to him, like he’s never met you before. He gave you that warm smile, introducing himself, saying it was a pleasure to meet you. You would think that he would at least show some kind of emotion. Sadness, hurt, joy, anything. His lack of emotion was getting on your nerves.
Maybe he forgot who you were. No, no that couldn’t be it. He knew exactly who you were and what he was doing to you. The question is, why? Why is he torturing you? Did it give him some kind of sick pleasure?
Then it happened.
You didn’t expect it, at all. Your heart breaking into smaller pieces. This is my girlfriend, Megan. Megan, this is (Y/N), an old friend. An old friend? Is that all you were to him? You looked over at her, instantly regretting it. She was perfect, much skinnier than you, taller, prettier, absolutely stunning. Of course Harry would fall for someone as amazing as her and not you. You were boring, nothing unique. It hurt much more than you’d ever admit.
