Chillin’ with this Pinot Greege on a lazy afternoon. Ripe pear, cantaloupe, peach, and stony minerality on the nose. Very ripe on the palate with loads of pears, apricots, peaches, and still a whiff of cantaloupe. Grapefruit finish.
6 miles in the am. Should have worn my trail shoes! Wow it was muddy but that made it fun.
Then, quick shower and headed to meet a few friends to go to Winterfest. Tried some wine for their wine walk, paid $1 and got a free glass after you stopped at all six wineries (technically 5 + a brewery). We also squeezed in a wine glass painting, $8. So, $9 for two new wine glasses and having an amazing day with friends? Priceless.
I’m a dry wine drinker so unfortunately I didn’t care for the sweet wine offered at most of the wineries, but it was so much fun!
