is it september already

after episode 6 im 99% convinced that yuuri and victor are already in a relationship.

no seriously hear me out. this is just a theory but im v passionate about it

like we’ve already mentioned before, time is going by in the series. like, its skips a lot. victor first arrived in april and we’re already by at least september (last weeks episode was certainly september, i cant remember when china’s competition took place in this episode).

so what if yuuri and victor started dating somewhere between all those months (or fairly recently, after months of knowing each other) and we’re just supposed to know it?? (which, imho, would be better if they straight up mentioned it but. censorship i guess))

these are no longer hints of them liking each other (like in the first few episodes), these are hints that they’re already in a relationship.

first off, and we’re starting off p tame, the hugs. since last episode, weve noticed that theyre… pretty physical (specially victor). and its NOT made out to be a big deal (except for certain scenes in particular, where the hugs/contact was relevant to the situation e.g. when yuuri got nervous and victor hugged him from behind to help him calm down). victor will walk up behind yuuri and hug him and they stay like that and thats it. no biggie. but it says a lot about how close and comfortable they are at this point. when they were in the plane? victor was sleeping leaning on yuuri. when victor got drunk, yuuri was p chill til he started to strip.

second, when phichit publishes the picture of naked victor clinging to yuuri, what’s yuuri’s first concern?

yup that’s what worries him

usually when gimmicks like these are used on anime, the character reacts like “OH NO NOW EVERYONES GONNA THINK WE’RE GAY!! THIS IS NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE” WHICH IS NOWHERE NEAR HOW YUURI REACTED

do i even need to get into thi s scene. do i really

(also please note victor wasnt flustered, but slightly surprised. not because yuuri was being affectionate, but because yuuri was being the one taking iniciative.)

and now the final blow

boom goes the dynamite

whats that????? hes not talking about his love for victor, but victor’s love for him???? OH???? SO HE KNOWS IT’S NOT ONE-SIDED??

SO YEAH i mean at the end of it all take this w a grain of salt but. what this could be is not the buildup to a romantic relationship but the flourishing of one

  • what she says: im fine
  • what she means: its september again and i still havent gotten a hogwarts letter and i know i shouldnt have my self esteem reliant upon a fictional school's fictional acceptance letter that i know rationally will never come but its such a worry anyway and i cant control this insatiable wish to go and

someone: make a decision

Of First Christmases and Priceless Gifts

“Baz, we have to stop.”

“You don’t think I know that?”

“How do we stop?”

Baz sighed and turned to me. I couldn’t help but appreciate how absolutely adorable he looked amongst the holiday mall mayhem. Fuzzy green jumper, grey scarf, cheeks that were actually flushed. Whether it was from the stress of the season or because he’d just fed, I was never sure.

He looked down at our cart. Or rather, what we could see of our cart. It was filled to overflowing with Transformers, My Little Pony figurines, and plushies of every animal imaginable. He bit his lip and looked at me with a pained expression. “What are we doing?”

“I don’t know,” I said, frantically trying to shove a blue doll onto our ever-growing pile. “I can’t stop. But we’ve already bought so much for her.”

Baz ran a hand through his hair, tugging at it. A nervous tick that I normally found ridiculously cute, but now it just made me more aware of our reality. “Baz. We have spent over a thousand dollars on our daughter for Christmas. We have to put some of this stuff back…”

I’d barely finished the declaration before I spotted a little Pokemon plush I knew Natasha would go nuts for. I pointed to it and Baz wordlessly grabbed it and shoved it into the cart. Angrily, like a man who hated what he was doing, but powerless against it.

Happy 24th Birthday, Skandar Keynes. ( September 5, 1991 )

My mother is Lebanese, but I wasn’t brought up speaking Arabic. We would go to Lebanon every year, but I was always frustrated by not being able to speak the language myself. So I first approached my course of study out of a desire to put that frustration behind me.
Outlander Announces Season 3 Premiere as Stars Adorably Say Goodbye to Scotland
So long, and thanks for all the kilts.
By Joanna Robinson

Fans of the Outlander novels already knew this was coming. But without revealing any major spoilers for you non-book-readers, suffice it to say that Jamie and Claire Fraser will not be spending all of next season in the foggy fields of Scotland. They are, in fact, headed to South Africa. To learn why (or how these time-traveling, star-crossed lovers find each other again), you’ll have to tune in to Season 3 when it returns in September 2017.

Even without any huge revelations about how the Frasers have traveled through time and space to see one another, this video from stars Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan is a joy to behold, mostly for the sheer, giddy chemistry these friends exude on screen. Fans will, yes, have to endure a bit of separation at the beginning of Season 3 as Claire and Jamie go their own ways, thanks to the quirk of time travel that tore them apart at the end of Season 2. Calling in from the set in Scotland late last year, Heughan told Vanity Fair that being apart from Balfe was like “having a death in the family. Well, I don’t know. I mean, it’s just like a different show. It’s hard to separate yourself from the character. It’s always hard when we’re apart, actually, because she’s a great person, great to come to work with, and a very good actress. But I think it all adds to the reunion—if there’s a reunion, or when there’s a reunion—well, you know there’s one in the books. It should be very special.” Balfe jokingly responded, “Och! He’s already killed me in his mind. Gone. Too sad.”

Balfe also had a little insight about what Claire will be wearing as she and Jamie set sail for South Africa: “Outlander costumer Terry [Dresbach] came up with this great, fun idea for the costume that Claire takes back to the 17th century with her. That’s much more traditional. It melds both the Parisian world with the Scottish world a little bit, but it’s going to be very different to other seasons. In Season 3, I think I have one costume for the back end. Before, I had 17, 18, 19 different looks. It gets quite simplified toward the end, because we obviously go on a ship.” Sadly, Balfe confirms, she will not be going full pirate. “I don’t think that’s what we were going for, but that would be quite funny if I just showed up with a patch and a parrot.”

In the video above, Balfe and Heughan joke that they will be able to ditch a few layers of costume once they leave the harsh climate of Scotland for the sunnier shores of South Africa—but fans can also read something a little more risqué into that statement if they like. In response to the general outcry over the lack of sex between the somewhat stressed and estranged Frasers in Season 2, Balfe promised: “I think the reunion and everything that’s going to happen once Jamie and Claire see each other, I think it’s really special. Maybe [fans will] have to wait a little bit, but I don’t think the sex is going to be as scarce as last season, shall we say.”

The third season of Outlander—which will include 13 episodes based upon Voyager, the third of eight books in Diana Gabaldon’s best-selling series—will premiere in September. Fans eager to get an early taste can also catch the Outlander panel at San Diego Comic Con this summer.

After weeks of development and cooperation with the amazing @razygurr, I am so excited to announce my first animation project!

“The Rendezvous”!

After offering to animate the entire three minute short on my own using the guidance of the original animatic, I was granted permission and started work towards the end of September. Approximately 20 seconds of animation are already complete.

Fiona sleeps and dreams to escape her sad and bland reality. One night, she meets a mysterious and charming young man named Lamonte who seems to reside in her little dream world.

Watch the finished storyboard animatic by razygurr here!

“You know, Harry came here to get away from life. I’m sure he walked past alot of stuff where he thought, ‘that can be fixed, that can be fixed.’ He’s not the type of guy who can walk by and not do that. We are lucky that someone with that spirit was born into that position. I think we’re lucky for that.” - Joss Stone

Mies van der Rohe, Villa Tugendhat, (1930)

The Villa Tugendhat was commissioned by the wealthy newlyweds Grete & Fritz Tugendhat, a Jewish couple with family money from textile manufacturing companies in Brno. The couple met Mies van der Rohe in Berlin in 1927, and was already impressed by his design for the Zehlendorf #house of Edward Fuchs. As fans of spacious homes with simple forms, Mies’ free plan method was perfect for the Tugendhats’ taste; however, he was not their only interest in an architect for their own home. They originally confronted Brno’s foremost modern architect at the time, Arnost Wiesner, but after visiting various projects by each architect, the Tugendhats ultimately went with Mies.

Mies visited the site in September of 1928, and had already produced plans by December of that same year. He shared his design with the Tugendhat family that new year’s eve, and with a few minor changes new plans were drafted and set into motion. Mies deployed his new functionalist concept of iron framework, doing away with load-bearing interior walls and allowing for more open and light spaces. The villa was composed of three levels (including the basement), with different floor plans and forms, each relating differently to the sloping site. The Southeast and garden facades were completely glazing from floor to ceiling. The villa Tugendhat was a rather large house, complete with two children’s bedrooms and nanny’s quarters that shared a bathroom at the front of the house, while the master bed and bath were at the rear and connected to the terrace. A housekeeper’s flat and staff quarters were also included in the design.

The villa was exceptionally expensive for its time considering the lavish materials, abnormal construction methods, and extraordinary new technologies of heating and cooling. The house was very advanced for a private residence, and while the overall cost was never known, estimates fall somewhere near five million Czech crowns. In 1930, that amount could have built at least 30 small family homes. Brno was already a hub of modern Architecture for Czechoslovakia in the 1920s, and the Villa Tugendhat was only met with moderate praise at best among the avant garde in its time. Many of the left wing elite in the art world viewed the new home as snobbish and overdone because its lush interior design and furnishings.

Mies designed all the furniture in the house and chose precisely the placement of each piece and fixture. Although there was no art on the walls or decoration in or on the house, it never came across as bare or plain because of the rich materiality of onyx and rare tropical woods used throughout the home. The villa was built by building contractors in Brno, but the iron framework was constructed by contractors from Berlin. Steel frame construction was unusual for homes at that time, but brought with it many advantages that Mies was very occupied with and had already used in his famed Barcelona Pavillion – thinner walls, a free plan that could differ from floor to floor, large walls of glazing to open up rooms and connect them to the garden, etc. Over all the minimal and stable design became a hallmark in Mies’ residential accomplishments.

Readings for a Quinceañera

Hey lovelies, I really don’t want to do this but thanks to our new president I have to. My little cousin Vanessa was going to have her quinceañera (it’s like a sweet 16 but for 15-year-old girls in Mexico) in Mexico but now her family is reconsidering due to the recent Muslim ban. Also, since Trump was elected there has been a lot more violence on the border, which is where all my family lives. Vanessa’s family booked a place for her quince already for September but the place won’t give their money back and they can’t go back to Mexico to demand their money back. Her mom, my mom, and all of my aunts and uncles came from Mexico and since even naturalized citizens are getting turned back they don’t want to risk going to Mexico for that and the violence towards Americans. It’s still far into the future but I want to make sure that my cousin can have her quince because it’s so important.

So I’m going to be selling readings as usual but the money from these will be given to my cousin for her quince. Here is the price list. I do tarot, rune, and pendulum readings. Please don’t ask for a free reading even though they will say they are open on my blog, please consider a small reading if you really need it. Please, I don’t want my baby cousins, the ones that are only 3-10, to grow up fearing to go outside or to visit their family in Mexico and also give up their quince. Trump won’t let us live in fear of our culture. We’ll have quinceañeras for all my female cousins but for now we need to do them one at a time. I only have a PayPal right now and of course you can always donate without buying a reading if you so choose but I’ve gotten many positive results on my readings, check my #feedback tag if you want to see for yourself. If you can’t help please signal boost! The PayPal link is below. Thanks so much to everyone who buys a reading! It means the world to me and my family!

1. I don’t do medical or legal readings

2. I don’t do anonymous readings (normally I do but since only paid readings are going on I won’t do anon)

3. Please be as specific as possible

4. ALSO, please give me a little leeway. Readings are difficult but I have a good trac record. Again please see my #feedback tag to see reviews people have left.
