I’m torn on how to tag this. It’s Johnlock and H/W also, complete, 16300 words. This is brilliant, truly brilliant. Sherlock Holmes was real and lived in the Victorian Era, John Watson grew up reading his tales, as chronicled by Irving (Irene) Adler. One night he gets transported to the past and the rest, as the saying goes, is story. Very lovely and very well written!
The title which I most covet is that of teacher. The writing of a research paper and the teaching of freshman calculus, and everything in between, falls under this rubric. Happy is the person who comes to understand something and then gets to explain it.
