She’s like 12? -Isaac Lahey fluff

Anonymous requested: Isaac fluff imagine? Where the reader is really short compared to him and the pack teases her about it and it doesn’t really mind but once she hears people at school talk about it (saying she’s not “good” for him and her height difference makes them weird) she gets insecure about it cause the last thing she want is for people to be bad mouthing Isaac and etc. How it ends is up to you :D

“Isaac, you simply cannot tell me that you want a kiss and then not bend down. We’ve gone over this, okay? You’ve gotta work with me here.”

He smirked before bending down slightly so that I could stretch onto my toes and press a soft kiss to his lips. The kiss lasted only a few seconds before the bell rang.
“See you at lunch.” He said, kissing my cheek before taking off down the hall so that he could get to history.

I turned in the opposite direction and made my way towards my English class.

When I took my seat in the classroom, I noticed a few girls staring at me and I tried to ignore them but they weren’t speaking particularly quietly and I could make out a fair amount of what they were saying.

“-so weird, I know. She’s like half his height. It looks like he’s dating a toddler. Honestly, it’s kind of gross and weird.”

“She’s like twelve? What does he want with her? Isaac’s way too hot to be dating a pre-teen, let’s be honest.”

“She’s no good for him.”

My hands gripped the edges of my desk tightly and I tried not to completely lose it and begin shouting at them.

I pulled my phone out of my pocket and held it under the desk to discreetly type a text for Isaac. “Can we skip last period?”

He responded within a minute. “Of course, babe. Is anything wrong?”

I texted back and told him that I would explain it all next period before sliding my phone back into my pocket and beginning to take notes.

When the bell finally rang at the end of class I quickly shoved all of my books into my bag and nearly sprinted out of the room. Isaac was already waiting just outside the door.

He could tell that I was upset so he pulled me into a tight hug and kissed the top of my head. “What’s wrong, Y/N? Why do you want to leave?”

I grabbed his hand and pulled him out of the building. “I’ll explain in the car. I just don’t want to be here at the moment so we’re going to my house for a while.”

We got to the parking lot and into my car. I started the engine and shifted into drive before rushing out of the parking lot at towards my house.

“What happened?” Isaac asked when I screeched to a stop at a red light.

“These girls in my English class were talking crap about us, about me. They were saying that it’s weird because I’m short and that I’m no good for you and that you deserve someone who doesn’t look like a twelve year old and I just hate it. Honestly, I don’t really care what they say about me. I’ve heard about how short I am for my entire life but I can’t stand the idea of someone saying something bad about you.”
The light turned green so I stepped on the gas and we shot forward.

“Do you really think I care about what they think about us? Y/N, I love you, okay? If they can’t accept it then that’s their problem. Whatever they have to say is completely irrelevant. And for the record, you definitely don’t look twelve.” He said.
I smiled a little bit and grabbed his left hand with my right. “I just don’t like it. It’s not my fault that I’m so short and you’re an Actual Giant.”

Isaac laughed. “I like how short you are, actually. It’s adorable. And it’s really fun teasing you whenever you ask me to get things off of the top shelf.”

I rolled my eyes playfully. “Shut up. I can’t help that you’re like 10 feet tall.”

“Babe, I’m only like 6’2.” He smirked.

“Only?! There are probably eighth graders taller than me! I know there are eighth graders taller than me. Isaac, I’m small!” I wailed.

He squeezed my hand. “And I love that. Especially when we cuddle because I just feel like I’m keeping you safe when I hold you.”

My cheeks burned with the hint of a blush and I bit my lip. “Can we cuddle when we get to my house?”

“I was hoping we would.”

I smiled at him. “I love you, Isaac.”

He leaned over and kissed my cheek. “I love you too, Y/N. So much.”

We pulled up in front of my house a few minutes later and hurried inside. Isaac threw me over his shoulder and I squealed as he took off towards my bedroom.
He carefully laid me down on the bed before flopping down beside me and pulling me tightly to his chest. “Those girls can say whatever they want and it doesn’t matter because you’re the one I want to do this with.”

We laid like that for a while but the way those girls had talked still bothered me. “You swear that you don’t think it’s strange that I’m so short?”

“I swear. I think it’s adorable.” He smiled.

“And you don’t care what those girls say?”

He nodded. “That’s right. I don’t care and neither should you. It’s you and me, okay? They don’t matter. They’re just jealous. Why is this bothering you so much? It didn’t bother you when those guys from the basketball team were talking about us…”

“You defended my honor but punching one of those boys in the face. Is that what you would like me to do? Punch one of the girls in the face?” I asked.

Isaac laughed loudly and squeezed my waist. “I’m clearly a terrible influence on you.”
“You’re the worst.” I teased.

He kissed my forehead. “And you’re the best.”

“You love me?”

“Always.”

I grinned. “Okay, good. I love you too.”

“I already scrubbed down this deck once today, sailor.  Now I have to do it again before I can go back to the pancakes.”

He giggled into my hair and pressed a soft kiss to my temple.

“Why all the nautical terms?”

A shiver passed through me as his hands wandered over my flushed skin. I was cradled on his lap, his back up against the cabinets by the sink.  His brows crinkled together in a frown and he reached up to retrieve his shirt from the island.

“Arms, darling.  No argument this time.”

guys i’m so emotional about my mad fat diary right now I feel like i’m at the verge of a meltdown

I can’t stop thinking about it and holding back rivers of tears. I’m hopeful that the ending is gonna be a good one (MMFD HOPE SQUAD 2K15) but there’s still a 10% part of me that is rly worried they’re gonna screw this ending up so bad there won’t be any turning back from the mass-fuckery

also i’m just so sad that this is the last time i’m gonna see these beautiful characters and they’ll be taking their final bow in just a few days. I’m okay with the show ending tbh for fault of the writing and the way they have handled this show since season 2 I wouldn’t want them to make another season – but i’m still so unbelievably sad that it’s coming to an end. No more Rae, Archie, Finn, Chloe, Chop, Izzy, Kester, etc. No more new scenes to look forward to. No more happy moments between the StanFord gang, just memories. I know “all good things come to an end” but when something has been so special and important for you, it’s hard to say goodbye.

I need a hug. and a prayer circle for that finale.

part 13 - always you

Zhengxi’s phone rang.

‘Hey, baby, what’s up?’

‘I hate to ask you this…’

‘…ok.’

‘He Tian is getting back into town today.’

‘Ok.’

‘Well I was going to pick him up, but I got called into work.’

‘Jian Yi…’ He groaned.

‘Oh, it’s not that bad.’

‘It’s entirely that bad! The airport is awful, the drive takes over an hour, not counting traffic. Why can’t he just take a taxi?’

‘Can you imagine how expensive that would be?’

‘Ugh.’

‘Please, baby? He’d do it for you!’

‘He absolutely would not do it for me.’

‘Yeah, you’re probably right.’

‘Fine I’ll do it. For you.’

‘Thank you, thank you, thank you!’

‘Yeah, yeah. Just give me the details.’

Several hours later, he found himself sitting at the gate, waiting for a fucking delayed flight.

Finally, the plane pulled in.

He stood, looking at his phone, when suddenly his (very loving) hand made sign was ripped from his fingers.

‘I thought Jian Yi was picking me up.’

‘He got called in and didn’t want you to have to take a taxi…’

He Tian cut him off with a gentle kiss on the cheek.

He stared at him, wide eyed.

As innocent as it was…

‘You know Jian Yi does possess the capacity to kill you, right?’

‘I won’t tell if you don’t.’

Zhengxi sighed.

He Tian laughed, and started weaving through the crowd, pulling Zhengxi along, talking loudly.

‘When does Jian Yi get off?’

‘Two hours or so.’

‘What’s the plan there?’

‘Well, originally, I was going I meet you two for dinner when he picked you up, so I guess…that but backwards.’

‘Hmm…’

‘Do you want me to take you home, or what?’

‘We should just go hang out at his work until he gets off. By the time we get there it’ll only be about an hour.’

‘Sure.’

‘Where do we get your suitcase?’

‘I only had this backpack.’

Zhengxi realized at some point they’d started holding hands.

They made their way to his car and argued about the best way to get out of the airport and onto the highway for awhile.

‘Are you excited to see him? You were gone for, what, a week?’

‘Nine days. And yeah, I’m really excited. I’ve missed him a lot.’

‘He’s excited too.’

‘I missed you too, you know.’

‘Oh, shut up.’

‘No.’

[ the magician - shy ]

Zhengxi passed the auxiliary cord to He Tian.

He always liked hearing other people’s music.

You learn a lot about them that way.

Not that he had any interest in learning about him…

Whatever.

They finally pulled up to the little restaurant where Jian Yi worked as a bartender.

He’d always liked it there.

It was dimly lit and cozy.

They both nodded at the host as they approached the bar.

Jian Yi turned around.

‘What can I get…OH MY GOD!!!’

He leaned over the bar, kissing Zhengxi then He Tian.

‘Zhengxi, thank you so much! He Tian, I missed you!’

They both smiled as Jian Yi turned to get them drinks.

A waitress behind the bar was staring at them, shocked.

Zhengxi winked at her and she scurried off.

They probably were quite the sight.

‘Xixi, be nice.’

He winked at him too.

He Tian laughed.

Jian Yi placed a beer in front of Zhengxi and a whiskey and coke in front of He Tian.

At the same time-

‘Thanks, baby.’

‘Thanks, baby.

‘That is still so creepy, please stop it. And move over there, these spots are for real customers.’

Zhengxi and He Tian moved to a booth near the end if the bar.

They both watched Jian Yi as he worked.

‘He really is beautiful.’ He Tian said softly.

‘He really is.’

Jian Yi brought them another round.

‘My coworker is having a party tonight. Any interest in going?’

He looked between them.

He Tian shrugged and nodded.

Zhengxi nodded. ‘Sure.’

Continuing to look between them, he raised an eyebrow.

‘What’s up with this?’

‘With what?’

‘You’re both being kind of nice, you’re not sitting as far apart as possible. I i’ve only seen you argue once since you got here.’

‘…’

‘…’

‘…’

‘Well, I don’t trust this, but keep it up.’

With that he went back to the bar.

He Tian reached in his pocket, pulling out Zhengxi’s sign from the airport.

‘Thanks for this, by the way.’

‘You’re welcome, dickhead.’

‘People probably saw this.’

‘And then they saw you kiss me.’

‘And that, ladies and gentlemen, is a perfect summary of our relationship.’

‘We don’t have a relationship.’

‘And that’s the title.’

Finally, Jian Yi bounced over to them.

‘Ready?’

They took Zhengxi’s car.

There was only one instance of-

‘You want to fucking drive then?’ As Jian Yi tried to direct him there.

Eventually, they made it. Jian Yi rang the bell, but realized no one would ever hear that over the music so he just let them in.

There were way more people there than Zhengxi had been expecting.

Jian Yi pointed to an open spot on the couch and shouting that he’d get the drinks.

He Tian plopped down, managing to take up the entire, admittedly incredibly small, space.

‘Move.’

‘There’s no space, sit on my lap.’

‘Dude.’

‘Which one is more emasculating? Being the sitt-er or the sit-ee?’

‘Do you really have to fuck with me every fucking minute we spend together?’

‘Oh please, it’s not every minute. Sometimes I fuck your boyfriend.’

Zhengxi perched on the arm of the couch.

‘Fuckface.’

Jian Yi watched them from the kitchen.

This hadn’t stopped being funny yet.

The hostess crossed the kitchen with the beers he’d asked for, following his gaze.

‘DAMN! who’s that?’

‘My boyfriend.’

‘And the other one?’

‘Also my boyfriend.’

He hadn’t really had this conversation with anyone before.

‘Are you fucking kidding me?!’

‘…no?’

‘You get BOTH of THEM and I can’t get a dude to call me back?! What’s your secret?’

Jian Yi smiled, watching them squabble.

‘I have no idea.’

She laughed.

‘Give me a call when you’re ready to give one up.’

He clinked his bottle against hers.

‘Will do.’

He approached them, handing out beers, plopping down on He Tian’s lap and resting his head on Zhengxi’s lap.

He Tian leaned in to whisper in his ear.

‘You’re a little bit of a slut, you know that?’

‘That’s not what you were saying last time.’

‘That’s EXACTLY what I was saying last time.’

Zhengxi absentmindedly ran his fingers through Jian Yi’s hair as He Tian whispered in his ear.

It must have been something fun because Jian Yi lifted his head up, face burning, smacking He Tian on the arm and sitting up straighter.

He Tian patted him on the back.

‘I’m going to go smoke a cigarette.’

‘Ooh I’ll come too.’

‘Xixi? You coming?’

‘Yeah, sure.’

They pushed through the crowd and out the door, left standing on a small wooden deck.

He Tian lit one for the each of them.

He Tian told them some stories from his very boring trip.

Jian Yi had a few funny things that happened at work.

Zhengxi had absolutely nothing to report.

A coworker of Jian Yi’s cracked the door open and poked her head out.

‘Jian Yi, do you have a second?’

‘It’s fine, babe, go ahead.’

He looked to Zhengxi.

‘Go ahead, we’re fine.’

The door clicked shut behind him.

Zhengxi turned to look at He Tian as he found a few beers in the cooler.

‘Have you been to a lot of these with him?’

‘No, first one, have you?’

‘Many.’

‘Is it always like this?’

‘Pretty much.’

‘What do you do?’

‘Exactly this, but normally alone. It always makes him feel awful when he has to go do that kind of shit.’

‘He doesn’t seem to feel so bad right now.’

‘Because he knows he’s not leaving either of us alone.’

Several minutes passed in silence.

‘Zhengxi, can I ask you a question?’

‘…sure.’

‘Do you actually dislike me as much as you say you do?’

Zhengxi looked at him for a moment.

It hadn’t been long, but they’d been through a lot together.

‘I mean…you’re an asshole and you tend to make my life incredibly difficult..but, no, I don’t hate you.’

‘So you put up with me, for Jian Yi’s sake?’

‘I mean…technically…’

He Tian looked away, taking a sip of his beer.

Fuck.

Zhengxi put a hand on He Tian’s thigh, giving it a small squeeze, waiting for him to look at him.

After a few moments, He Tian looked at him.

‘I don’t hate you. I have never hated you.’

‘Oh, yeah?’

‘Well…maybe for a minute there, but I’ve recovered.’

‘And you don’t hate being around me?’

‘I picked you up from the airport.’

‘You were holding a sign that said -dickface-’

‘I mean…’

He Tian laughed.

‘You got anything obnoxious to say?’

‘Yes.’

‘Of course.’

‘But it can wait.’

‘Well, aren’t you sweet.’

‘Sometimes.’

Zhengxi scoffed, looking away, taking a drink.

‘Have you done this before?’

‘What?’

‘More than one person at once?’

‘It depends on how you mean that.’

‘Like this. A boyfriend and…his boyfriend.

‘Oh please, this is the second…real relationship I’ve ever been in.’

‘Seriously?’

‘And what’s your record, pal?’

‘…irrelevant.’

‘Yep.’

‘So…’

‘So what?’

‘What is this, why are you being so nice to me?’

‘Because I’m sick of this constant bullshit. It’s fun and all, and it’s just the way people like us interact. But we are, and are going to be, spending a lot of time together. We can’t keep doing this.’

‘You’re right.’

‘Zhengxi, can I kiss you?’

Zhengxi’s heart just about lept from his chest.

‘Why, are you suicidal?’

‘First one’s free.’

‘What does that mean?’

‘That’s what Jian Yi said. First one’s free. I don’t know what his plan is here, but that’s what he said.’

‘Oh…’

‘How far does that go?’

‘Does it matter?’

‘…I suppose not.’

‘Can I kiss you, Zhengxi?’

‘Yes.’
