The nodes marked with “?” indicates that they did not hover over it to reveal it’s requirement. However, you can probably sense a pattern and make an educated prediction on what some of the nodes are judging by that pattern and the names. As well as that, certain nodes will auto-filled if you meet the requirements come March 28th.

TO BE CONTINUED

This is from a scene with Anik and Ren in the first book of the Iron Breakers series - not exactly how it plays out cause that would be a spoiler, but quite similar!

Iron Breakers is an LGBT+-centric fantasy/historical/adventure novel trilogy. The first book will be released early 2017. You can follow the blog for updates or pledge $1 to the patreon for exclusive rewards!

GAME INFORMER RISE OF IRON PODCAST 8/4/16 {SPOILER ALERT}

Unfortunately I did not have time to tune into the podcast, but no worries Reddit Users:  djschxzo &  georgiafan87 summarized the podcast as follows. I’ll be watching it sometime this weekend and correct any misinformation or add anything I find that is not included. Again sorry if some info is repetitive.

SUMMARY OF NEW INFO: SPOILER ALERT (for those not wanting to know everything or wanting to save some surprises…you were warned)

  • Difference between TTK and ROI is TTK was reinvention and ROI is using all that exist/works and adding more to do.
  • No new subclasses, no change to infusions
  • Tyra (new Cryptarch at Felwinters Peak) has weekly bounties to complete. Competing all of them in a given week grants you a token to spend on one of the three new artifacts she has each week. Artifacts rotate each week and it is assumed that you can stack tokens to use on a different week. Total of 8 new artifacts that she will sell. GI described these bounties as “not-too grindy” and shouldn’t take that long to complete each week.  New currency used to get new artifacts
  • The farther you travel into the Plaguelands, the more industrial and SIVA-infested it gets. Plaguelands do indeed allow Sparrow in the patrol.  Thing they liked about new zone, was the “Fallen Fortress” in far side of Plaguelands
  • There are chests scattered around the Plaguelands that are “mimic chests” Compared to “mimics” from Dark Souls, - opening one of these will not grant you the regular glimmer/mats/etc. but something bad will happen. Cool secrets located in the new zone, they have “Poisoned Chest” when opened “bad things” happen. Don’t know if there’s a way to distinguish between a normal chest and a fake chest.
  • New set of calcified fragments to collect in the Plaguelands called Dormant SIVA Clusters. Less than 50 to collect, don’t know the exact number.
  • New dead ghosts to collect as well.
  • To make up for the lack of Cayde-6 “humor” dialogue, the ghost has been given more of a personality. Also a lot of Lord Saladin dialogue.
  • Five (5) main story missions but there are quests that stem out after you complete the campaign. Similar to TTK, as there were only 8 main story missions in TTK, but feels ROI has a better “post campaign”
  • Nostalgic scene (or mission) where you travel throughout the transformed locations of the Cosmodrome with your ghost.
  • Also, not every location from the Cosmodrome has been re-skinned and accessible during the new Plaguelands patrol. So far, we know we can access the Wall, The Divide, Rocketyard, Refinery, The Blast, and The Devil’s Lair. Don’t know if you can travel to any of the other old locations.
  • New raid - Wrath of the Machine - can be summed up as being a “collision” of a raid (“smashing s–t into other s–t” as they put it). Not really sure what that means. In addition, a good portion of the raid takes place outdoors and you can actually see raid locations during patrol and during missions.
  • Video coming out soon interviewing the raid team about their process designing a raid. No spoilers in this video, so don’t watch it looking for information on the new raid.
  • Miller was a big part of the Reason of the Lore being introduced into the story of the game and why ROI is so heavily Lore based. There will be an interview with Miller later this month. ROI stands apart from previous DLC is the focal point, SIVA threat is not alone, it is controlled by others. The main focus is the Iron Lord, it’s more about the good guys than the bad guys this time. GI believes to have much of New Grimiore to be focused on the Iron Lords. Also another video coming out very soon interviewing the story team behind Rise of Iron.
  • Archons Forge - the new PvE arena - can be described as a mix between Court of Oryx and Prison of Elders. Instead of fighting a boss like in CoO, you fight waves of enemies first, and then you fight the boss at the end. Archons Forge is the size of a PoE arena. Less focus on mechanics like the CoO bosses and more of a focus on killing enemies. Different difficulty tiers just like in CoO. Not sure if this is a public event thing in patrol or an event you select on the director or what, but they said at the end of the month they will describe it more in-depth.  End of this month Archon’s Forge Walk-through going up on GI
  • New strike takes place in the Plaguelands, has different routes that open up each run. For example, in the podcast they mentioned that in their playthrough, there was a part where the paths split but only one path was open. Bungie told them that in other playthroughs, the other path/door could be open. It’s different each time you go through the strike. It changes the strike and way you approach it and they really liked the boss of the NEW Strike.
  • Phogoth strike on Moon and Sepiks Prime strike on Earth have been revamped and brought forward into year 3. Both strikes have gotten graphical overhauls, audio overhauls (for example, the opening dialogue is different for those strikes), and involve a lot of SIVA. Both bosses have been SIVA-infected.
  • New Crucible mode Supremacy is exactly like Kill Confirmed from the Call of Duty series. Kill a guardian, pick up his/her fallen engram to score a point. If a teammate dies, pick up their fallen engram to deny the other team a point. Don’t know if you get points for kills but if it’s anything like Kill Confirmed you only get points for picking up the fallen token (dog tag in CoD, engram in Destiny).
  • A lot of new armor sets, exclusive armor sets from the Raid (obviously), Iron Banner, Iron Lord set (from completing the Rise of Iron record book), Archons Forge set, Trials set, and probably a bunch of new vendor gear.
  • Record book for Rise of Iron rewards shaders, emblems, the Iron Lord armor set, and a special ghost shell. Works just like the Moments of Triumph book where every xx% completed you unlock something. Record Book was built around idea any time you log in, you have a clear idea of what you can pursue quickly to progress your character visually.
  • Ornaments work just like Chroma does that was introduced in the April update. It is a upgrade slot on special gear sets (exotic armor and weapons, the Iron Lords armor set from the record book, the Raid gear all confirmed) to change the physical appearance of a piece of armor or the color of a weapon. Ornaments change geometry, makes “armor look different” (sounds like transmog) also works with Exotics. Example was making Monte Carlo BLACK You apply the ornament per armor piece, so you would need to apply 4 ornaments to cover all 4 armor pieces. There’s probably more gear/weapons that ornaments work on, but that’s all that is confirmed so far. I’m assuming you can use them on Raid weapons too.
  • They were disappointed that ROI did not “resolve itself in satisfying way” BUT the build they played did NOT have cut scenes to explain ending or lead up. Which will be in final game.
  • Can NOT pet the Wolves [deal breaker….jk]
  • GI’s biggest take away, this is the final year and this expansion is the “last big major piece” (they believe, not confirmed) before Destiny 2.

1955 Broodmare of the Year Iron Reward

Dam of champion Swaps, as well as winners The Shoe and Like Magic

Iron Reward died of starvation in 1975 at the age of 29, sharing the fate of many unfortunate mares who lived at Rex Ellsworth’s ranch. In all, over 130 mares and foals were found on the ranch, five were dead, four had aborted due to neglect, and the rest were severely malnourished

Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris

Light the Shield

Lord Saladin will welcome competitors to back the Tower on October 13th.

Prepare to control the zones. Level up and choose your weapon. Power still matters, and we’re adjusting the damage curves to work with the new measurement systems. That’s not all that’s different about Iron Banner in Year Two. We have a tactical briefing from

Crucible Designer, Jeremiah Pieschl

to help you get ready for battle:

  • The tempered buff is now automatically applied and continues to grow in effectiveness each day of the event.
  • The alt catch-up buff and Iron Medallion mechanics are unchanged.
  • Potential match completion rewards now include both weapons and armor, matching the same items available from Lord Saladin during each event.
  • Drop rates have been increased and are intended to be the primary source of rewards from Iron Banner. If you don’t get what you’re hoping for, you have the option to visit Lord Saladin instead.
  • Gear purchased from Lord Saladin now requires Legendary Marks instead of Glimmer.
  • New emblems have been added to his inventory.
  • All new bounties including 9 Daily bounties (3 per day) and 3 new Weekly bounties which reward Legendary Marks.
  • Recommended minimum Light for Iron Banner: 230.
  • Only Level 40 Guardians can lead a Fireteam.

“Test yourself, Guardian.” –Lord Saladin

Light the Candles

Brother Vance will welcome competitors back to the Reef on October 16.

Prepare to eliminate the enemy. Yet again, power still matters. Increase your Light and form your very finest Fireteam. Trials of Osiris is keeping the trend of evolution in Year Two.

Senior Designer Derek Carroll

is here to tell you what you need to know to reach the Lighthouse, or die well trying:

  • Trials gear will now drop exclusively as end-of-match rewards for winning teams.
    • The more you win, the better those drops will be!
    • There’s no need to return to Brother Vance, all rewards come directly to you.
  • Passage Coins still drop for the losing team. Trials is still about winning, but Coins can help make that easier.
Trials Passages now have a Details page containing your active buffs. You won’t be able to add buffs once you’ve started your Trial, so make sure you buy them first!
  • Players that go undefeated on their Passage will continue to be invited to The Lighthouse.
  • Players may continue to play in the Trials past 9 wins (but they won’t get any better gear).
  • Brother Vance now has Trials Bounties available each weekend to provide players with a way to get sweet Trials gear, even if they’re not reaching the Lighthouse.
  • Regular Crucible Bounties are also still valid in Trials.
  • We will attempt to match up teams with similar win counts.
    • If you have 1 win, we will try to match you with another team with only 1 win.
    • If you have 8 wins… yup.
  • If we can’t find a high-quality match, we will loosen the win requirements first (in other words, we will not prioritize “wins” over low-latency matches).
  • Overtime timer in Elimination will now show 0:00 instead of stopping at 0:01 when time expires.
  • Teammate and enemy Revives now have distinct audio cues.
  • Recommended minimum Light for Trials of Osiris: 290.
  • Only Guardians with at least 251 Light can lead a Fireteam.

Iron Banner in Rise of Iron

With an expansion like Rise of Iron, you are willing to bet there will be some changes to this monthly Game mode that we all love…mostly. In fact, there are some MAJOR changes to the game mode:

  • The Tempering buff is going away
  • The amount of rep to reach rank 5 will be considerably reduced to compensate the lack of the Tempering buff
  • Alternate characters rep increase will still be there!
  • You know longer need to wear Iron Banner gear to gain rep bonuses
  • New and reworked bounties, and an elimination with “sticking points” (i.e. Getting top score)
  • The first Iron Banner after Rise of Iron’s release is expected (not confirmed!) to be in the new Supremacy game mode. Again, that is not confirmed.
  • EDIT (forgot a very important part): The bounties will also reward Iron Banner equipment or weapons immediately when turned in
