Today was the Irish Italian parade in Metairie, Louisiana. This has to be one of the coolest parades of the season with over 70 floats. They don’t just throw beads in this one, they throw cabbage, carrots, onions, garlic all the ingredients to make a Irish stew. We had a great spot to watch the floats in the middle of the streets with the parade running on both sides. Which meant double the throws. We got about a months worth of vegetables as well as some other random goodies.
