Literal jaw-dropping-and-gasping illustrations add to a beautiful storyline of a clockworker’s nephew struggling to uncover the secret of an automaton and a film maker who was presumed to be dead. The emotion in the artwork was just as expressive as the words they were portraying, a book so indefinitely unique.
