Naexprience niyo na bang sumali ng Mr. and Ms. intrams noong elem o highschool kayo? Yes. Deal with it.
Actually ayokong sumali talaga (Yes, pahumble) hanggang sa..
Me: Ma'am ayoko pong sumali.
Ma'am Science was like:
At ako was like…
At sabi ni Ma'am…
Di kita bibigyan ng grade na line of 9!
At ako ay napa…
Kahit deep inside…
Kaya sumali ako. Grade conscious ata ‘to!
Tangina right? Thank you puberty!
At sa awa naman ng diyos ay naipartner ako sa crush ko / first love ko na si Christine a.k.a San Chai (Dahil uso nga ang putanginang Meteor Garden) at ako nga si Dao Ming Fats. LOL
Try mo man bago ka magselfie. Oh diba?
WAAAHT!
Alam niyo ba yung part na… “Singing at the top of my lungs… I’m givin it… AhhhhHHHHH.. AH AH…”
Something like this. Brown skinned ako at siya medyo gray. Basta.
In your face motherfokaaaas! LOL
Is the Philippines the only one with like regular Intramurals? You know, Intramurals? Those things where different classes/teams from the same level battle it out and compete in multiple sporting and cultural events for a time span of one week? I don’t know. Basically it’s like a Sports Fest of some sort.
Most stuff about schools outside the country that I see has nada about it anywhere. Does your country have “Intrams”/Intramurals or some sort of sports week in your school?
(Also, the competing in sports thing is somewhat mandatory for each student to have)
The Spring Intramural season starts Sunday the 24th! Yeah we see the snow, and we are still having games. Be down to the East River Flats by 12:30 , or if you haven’t registered for the season show up at 12:00!
Played intramural soccer with the IT team (our team name is Ctrl-Alt-Del, FYI). And it was awesome. One of the guys on our team used to play soccer in high school so he was obviously our MVP. But I think I did pretty well. I was all across the court. I was proactive and showed my cardio, at least. And I made one goal (though I had the opportunity for a couple more… heh).
I didn’t think I would like soccer as a sport. Idk why. Maybe part of it was that I didn’t think I could handle the cardio. But I actually really liked the cardio. It’s like continuous short bursts of sprints. Which is definitely challenging, but you become so focused on the game that it’s easier to push through than if I were just doing random sprints for a workout.
Time has flown so fast. I was not able to anticipate that everything will come by swiftly without me knowing. Today, October 25, 2011, my parents 24th Wedding Anniversary, is the first day of my last Intramurals. Tomorrow is the day that IV- Wisdom will perform the dance we worked so hard for all these months. It is unpredictable but I will keep my faith that we can do it. I will give my best not merely for the win but for the memory I will always look back to. October 26, 2011 is the day Wisdom will give their all and enjoy the moment. Win or lose I will always be proud of Wisdom, who gave their very best and exceeded their potentials to present a performance that is a product of their minds and most importantly of their hearts.
WISDOM, FIGHTING! Let’s do well not for them to be impressed but for us to be HAPPY.
The Tyng Cup is another great Yale tradition. Every year residential colleges compete with each other in Intramural sports to win this coveted prize. This year Trumbull College won the Cup (and bragging rights for the year!)
