Two hours?? That's dedication right there. Are you going to write about your experience with your m&g because I would love to hear it!
i’ll just post the experience in this ask publicly bc it wasn’t that long of an experience lol -
so we heard him soundchecking (and died when he started singing castle on a hill) while we waited and we got inside the actual floor area of the venue near the stage and were in a line and they had the backdrop set up for the photos. one of my friends i came with had a gift for him (she made him a gabe doll) and people were just putting gifts down next to the backdrop for him so i just put the bag down there before going up to him.
HE WAS LITERALLY HUGGING AND BEING SWEET WITH EVERYONE AND ASKED FOR PEOPLE’S NAMES AND I LOVE HIM.
anyway…so i put the gift down and while doing so he was like HI HI HI HI and i was like hi! and he opened his arms for the hug and i died. we went into the pose for the photo and he looked down at him and was like “what’s your name?” and i was like “michele” and he was like “michele nice to meet you” and i died again (i kept dying lmao) and then the photographer took a few pictures (and obv chose the best one for everyone) and then i was like thank you and that was the end of that.
the q & a was great and i sadly didn’t record the entire thing. he actually answered my question first (not knowing it was from me bc the guy reading off the questions didn’t say my name lol -side note, when we got the vip info a few days ago they told us to send in a question for him) and i asked him what his dream role would be and he said bobby from company and another character from another show i can’t remember atm OR a role that hasn’t been cast yet) i have video of him answering that question and some other question but he was cute and i love him.

the worst part about that karlie kloss mess of a vogue shoot is that it was their “diversity” issue and liu wen is literally on the cover and got 1 page inside and karlie got 6 appropriating asian culture. there was an asian model readily available and they still used some white bitch from missouri. if you still don’t grasp white privilege, that’s it
He’s very straight forward, and sometimes he’s a little irritating, even when meeting someone new, he will just put on his earphones and listen to music, he might be a little naive but I feel like he’s always staying beside silently looking at everything objectively, or you can say positively, without having any bad thoughts. He’s more of a soul person than a brain person. When I’m having a hard time, he’ll always just come over without saying anything then lie on the sofa and sleep. Once he wakes up he’ll say “I’m going now” and he’ll just leave. All my younger brothers are just like typical guys so we never do kisses to each other but you know what? I do it everyday to this kid that’s gonna turn 27 soon kekekeke I think I might be the biggest giri fan. Let’s all love our dog-cat Giriboy more.
“Every day,” he said, “we change the world,” which is a nice thought
until I think about how many days and lifetimes I would need to bring a shoe full of sand home until there is no beach, until it made a difference to anyone.
Every day, we change the world, but to change the world in a way that means anything, that takes more time than most people have. It never happens all at once. It’s slow. It’s methodical. It’s exhausting. We don’t all have the stomach for it.
