infuser mug

I’m so mad I didn’t think of this sooner!!!

For all of my witches out there that need their morning coffee/tea-

Take like 3 minutes out of your night to pick out which mug you’re gonna use in the morning, and then put a crystal in the mug overnight!!  I tried it last night by putting a blue lace agate in one of my mugs overnight to help me stay calm during my stressful day today and I think it’s a great way to infuse your mug with positive energies!!!

A Potion for Trans Feminine People

Potion-making and herbalism go hand in hand throughout much of witchcraft. There are few things more “witchy” than brewing up a magick potion to help heal or harm, to bless or curse. This potion is designed to give trans feminine people bodies that match their minds. I’ve personally used it for years, and can attest to its power personally.

As a transgender female myself, I know how much it hurts to be trans (and especially trans female) in a world that often doesn’t care too much about us. As a witch and a Celtic Wiccan, I also know how it feels to be marginalised and treated as a joke or as a threat for your religious or spiritual beliefs.

This is a potion I created that’s designed to help alleviate some of the burden associated with being trans feminine in a world not built for us. It’s specifically for trans feminine people – it will do the opposite to what you want if you are trans masculine, because it is designed to invoke the Sacred Feminine and to use both magickal AND medicinal herbs associated with actual female-standard hormones in the body.

Please note that this is genuinely very potent, and will have actual, measurable effects if you take it long-term (which you MUST do if you want to see real, lasting effects). You MUST tell your doctor about the ingredients (not that it’s necessarily part of a potion) if you go on hormone replacement therapy (HRT) whilst taking this potion.

The potion’s effects are basically to limit the effect that testosterone has on your body (“testosterone poisoning” as many trans feminine people call it), and boost the effectiveness of oestrogen. It also invokes the Sacred Feminine and calls it into your body. It asks that you be purged of renegade or unwanted masculinity, and have that replaced by femininity. Despite its almost comical simplicity, this potion is a deeply powerful one.

I swear by the gods that this be no false witness, I legitimately got a third nipple when I used this potion. In Celtic cultures (my practice and ancestry are Celtic), a third nipple is a sign of heightened femininity entering your body. The appearance of a third nipple is believed in Celtic cultures to be a sign that you are touched and blessed by the Goddess. I’m not saying this will happen for everyone, or even anyone, but it happened for me. I vow upon the Goddess that my words here be truly written, and that I shall lead no other astray by deceit.

  1. This potion is a kind of tea, and it is necessary to drink the potion twice-daily in order to get full effect. Once daily will have a similar effect, but it will take longer and not be as dramatic.
  2. Since this potion must be drunk twice-daily, you might want to make a big batch in the morning, and then have it chilled with dinner or something similar.

               You will require:

  • Dried spearmint leaves
  • Dried red clover flowers
  • A pinch of nutmeg
  • A pinch of salt
  • Moonwater (search the tag “moonwater” on my blog for more on this)
  • A ceramic mug, it must be ceramic

  • Bring between 400 and 500 ml of water to the boil. That’s about 1¾ cups. Add about a tablespoon of moonwater to this, and speak the following:

“I call upon the waters of the Moon to infuse the Goddess’ power into my potion. Fill this potion with feminine energy and healing light.”

  • Add 2 heaped teaspoons of spearmint and 1 teaspoon of red clover to a tea infuser (do NOT use the closing-ball kind, they don’t infuse properly)

  • Place the infuser in a mug, and as you pour the water into the mug, speak the following:

“I call upon the element of Fire, to pour its energy into this spell. I call upon the element of Water, to flow through my herbs and draw out their magickal essence. I call upon the element of Earth, to contain my potion and imbue it with solidity and potency. I call upon the element of Air to breathe magick into this potion and all who drink it.”

  • Throw in a pinch of salt, and use an invocation to banish negative influences from your potion.

  • Sprinkle over a touch of nutmeg, calling upon its power to strengthen your potion.

  • Leave it to stew for at least 10 minutes before drinking.

And that’s it! It’s not hugely complicated, there’s no distillation or anything. There’s just good old-fashioned herbalism.

– Juniper

She was beautiful for far more than her outward appearance. Sure, the way the freckles on her stomach joined together produced constellations that dazzled you every night. And not even a thousand books, pages crinkled like her nose when laughing at her own joke, could tell stories the way her smile did. But her love for the world around her made her emit a kind of light you couldn’t see from any summer’s day. It was felt over drowsy breakfasts, steaming mugs infused with a tenderness carried in her words; protesting with heavy-eyes against having the last bite. You felt it in the way she called to her mother, reminding her she loved her even after the most trivial of interactions. You could feel it on twilit evenings, on those strange days when the world can’t seem to decide what season it wants to be, but winding through foreign streets in an unknown town you had never been so sure of anything when you looked over at her. It pierced through the 3am darkness on the coldest of winter nights, the air outside lingering with an unforgiving chill that you were immune to whilst your sleep-heavy limbs intertwined with hers. Sure, when the evening light hit her a certain way the rest of the world faded to black and white. And the way the sun changed her hair from a warm golden to a light caramel was like nothing you’d ever seen before. But she was beautiful for so much more than that.

“It’s the most wonderful and terrible thing that can ever happen to you. You know that you’ve found something amazing, and you want to hold on to it forever; and every second after you have it, you fear the moment you might lose it. Love is beautiful fear.”
